Chapter 8: Trip to Eraklyon
It was a bright sunny day in the Kingdom of Eraklyon. They were getting ready for the pre-coronation of Princess Azar (A/N: Azar's pre-coronation is basically the princess ball that will act as a pre-coronation ceremony until Azar comes of age). It was to be covered by Its Magix as it was a major event. Many people from all across the Magical Dimension were arriving from every realm and every kingdom. The palace was beautifully decorated with streamers, stars, among other things. Inside the palace, Azar was in her room getting ready, extremely nervous about the pre-coronation. She had on an azure short-sleeved dress that reached the floor with pink flames and violet trimming on the skirt that hid a pair of pink translucent tights and azure heels. She was looking at a picture of her big family as she put her hair in a French braided crown twist bun. The photo consisted of Sky, Bloom, herself, and Brenton in their younger years along with their extended families: Sky's parents, Bloom's biological and adoptive parents, Aunt Daphne, Uncle Thoren, and her cousins. They were all coming to her princess ball to see her get pre-coronated. Brenton, then, entered the room, dressed in his royal attire with his sandals in his hands.
"Sis," he smiled, "I'm so happy for you!" The boy then looked at his big sister and saw worry in her eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah"" Azar assured, "Just a little nervous."
"Don't be," said Brenton, "It's going to be awesome."
"Thanks, B, but I just can't seem to shake this fear. What if something happens?"
"You're going to be fine," said Bloom from the doorway, Sky at her side and Kiko, Jr in her arms. (A/N: Yes, Kiko had kids) She came into the room and helped Azar finish the hairstyle while Kiko, Jr jumped in Brenton's arms.
"Your classmates are already downstairs," said Sky, "Riven, Musa, and Liron are helping the Witch Club get ready for a sound check. I can't wait to hear them play."
"Trust me, dad, you'll love them," said Brenton as he sat down and slipped his sandals on.
"Are Grandpa Mike and Grandma Vanessa coming?" asked Azar.
"Of course, Daphne and Thoren already left to pick them up," said Bloom, grabbing the incentives for the twist bun. Sky and Brenton left the room to give the girls their space, headed downstairs to be greeted by some the Winx descendents and the Witch Club who were on stage doing a sound check. Brenton walked on stage and pulled Lee into a hug.
"Azar wiggin' out again?" asked Hydra.
"Yep," said Brenton, making a popping sound at the 'P'. He then let go of Lee so that the band could get to doing their sound check.
Liron showed them the program, the group appearing to be on the last on the list for right now.
"We didn't exactly know what to play at a princess ball, so we decided to play a song that Professor Musa taught us," Jay explained.
"They've been practicing non-stop for a few days from 4 am to 9 pm," said Musa.
"That's some dedication right there," Riven complimented.
"Dad, please, don't encourage them, they'll make it a regular thing," Liron groaned. Nerio had to threaten to get them all checked for insomnia if they didn't quit disturbing their sleep. Though everyone at the school already knew that Lee was a classic case, Nerio made a mental note to ask Piff to put that boy to sleep. After finishing the sound check, Lee stepped away from his mic to check on Brenton who was staring at a picture.
"Is that the rest of your family, Brenton?" asked Lee quietly, startling Brenton a bit.
"Yeah, I can't wait for you to meet them in person." Lee, then, sat next to Brenton to look at Brenton's family, the other freshmen joining shortly after their sound checks.
"Are those Daphne's kids?" asked Shelby.
"Yeah," said Brenton, pointing to a woman in white and blue attire, "Eleanie's the oldest, then there's Demetrios, Ren, Vulcan, and finally Tuuli." Once he was done, the group noticed something about the five.
"They're dressed almost like us," said Phillip.
"Yeah, they have elemental based powers, like you five. Energy, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air," said Brenton.
"Cool," said Taylor.
"We could ask Daphne to organize some training sessions if you want."
"That would be great, Brenton," said Lee gratefully, hugging the boy again. Everyone in the room couldn't get over how cute the two were.
Back with Azar's room, Azar's hair was done and now she was putting on her makeup. Bloom could see how nervous her daughter was as she held Kiko, Jr.
"You'll be fine," Bloom reassured.
"I know, Mom, but I just can't shake the feeling that something bad will happen," said Azar.
"Nothing bad will happen," said Bloom, "Me and the rest of the Winx will see to that. Plus, the rangers are in the ballroom in case there's trouble."
Azar still looked unsure, then Bloom reached into her pocket.
"Azar, darling, there's something I've been meaning to give to you for quite some time." She then pulled something out of her pocket and after seeing it, Azar gasps in shock. It was Bloom's fairy dust bottle from her Enchantix form.
"Mom…" said Azar as Bloom wrapped it around her daughter's neck.
"For luck and reassurance," Bloom smiled at her oldest daughter, "To help you believe in yourself." The two then looked out the window and saw a few Red Fountain aircrafts flying in.
Minutes later, the gates were opened, Brenton ran up and welcomed all three sets of grandparents while the other Winx descendents did the same.
Daphne and Thoren were also greeted by Brenton as were his five cousins who he introduced to the Witch Club, more specifically the Rangers. All five of them appeared to be in their early-mid 20s with fair skin and alternating hair and eye colors. The oldest, Eleanie had brown hair that was woven in a French braided crown twist bun held by a white ribbon and brown eyes. She wore a white dress with a sweetheart-shaped bodice with a gold trim, a sky blue long-sleeved turtleneck blouse with a pink gemstone, teal tights, and white pumps. She also wore a crown on her head that was gold with a pink gemstone. (1) She took up the mantle of Queen after her mother as she was the oldest child of Daphne and Thoren. She looked at Lee with kindness in her eyes as she examined the shy boy. Behind her were her four younger siblings: Prince Demetrios, Princess Ren, Prince Vulcan, and Princess Tuuli.
Demetrios's brown hair covered one of his brown eyes. He wore a green royal jacket with gold shoulder pads and a trim on the collar over a gold shirt, brown pants with a gold stripe going down the side of the legs, a gold belt wrapped around the jacket, and black Chaco sandals with green straps. (1) He looked at Phillip with intrigue. Ren had blonde hair that was in a bun with part of it braided and used as a headband with teal ribbons attached to the back. She wore a blue off-the-shoulder dress with a right knee-high slit, a sea green bodice, and translucent aquamarine sleeves, violet tights, and blue kitten heels. (1) She also wore a white tiara with a violet jewel. When she saw Taylor, she studied him intently. Vulcan stood out from his siblings, having short red hair and brown eyes. He wore a red sleeveless tunic with gold trimming over an orange long-sleeved turtleneck, an orange belt, red orange pants, and black Chaco sandals with red straps. He also had a red beret with a black dragon scale. (1) He saw a powerful spark in Matt's eye when they met. Tuuli had short blonde hair covering one of her blue eyes. She wore a yellow court dress with a violet bodice and white high collar, a white petticoat, and yellow pumps. She also wore a violet headband with a bow. (1) One look at Joshua and she was immediately drawn to him.
"So, this is the Dragon Force," said Eleanie.
"They are," said Brenton.
"I see. We might have to train them." The rangers were shocked. Daphne's adult children wanted to give them private training sessions with their powers. It was then that the other ships started flying in.
"Looks like it's almost time for the ceremony," said Sky, looking out of the window.
"I'll go check on Aunt Bloom and Azar to see if they need any help," Ren volunteered as she left her siblings to check on her Aunt and cousin, knowing that Azar was probably in panic mode as the Witch Club continued to rehearse.
Meanwhile at Cloud Tower, the witches were having lunch in the cafeteria. Brandon White and Kyle Kenney were enjoying their food when they heard the Jinx at the table above them.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Molan shouted as he slammed his fist on the table, "We can't just let them get away with this."
"Those fairies must pay for their intrusion on Orion," Erebus added.
"I know, brothers," said Edur, "Which is why we'll attack Eraklyon Palace. That will teach them a lesson about staying off the future queen's turf."
"Why can't we attack Alfea?" asked Molan.
"You know why. The protective barrier designed to keep all evil out while The Headmistress was away."
"Good point," said Erebus, "When do we start?" Kyle and Brandon were shocked when they heard this and when no one was looking, Brandon pulled out his phone and shot a text to Lee to warn them.
Back on Eraklyon, the celebration was in full swing. King Sky and Queen Bloom sat on their thrones as Azar and Brenton walked down the aisle together much to the applause of everyone present, the Witch Club and the extended family being in the front row.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Sky said, preparing his speech, "My wife and I would love to thank you all for coming here for this special day. As King of Eraklyon, I am proud to name my oldest child, Azar, Crown Princess of Eraklyon." The crowd applauded as Bloom walked behind Azar with Samara's old tiara. The Witch Club were also applauding when Lee's phone vibrated, though Lee didn't pick up yet. It would be rude.
After the ceremony, the party began. As the Witch Club got near the refreshment tables was when Lee saw the warning text from Brandon.
"Guys," Lee gasped, "We've got a problem."
"What's wrong?" asked Jay, kneeling to Lee's eye level. He showed them the text. They were shocked.
"We've got to warn Bloom and Sky," said Keehly.
"Warn us about what?" asked Sky from behind, startling the Witch Club.
"The Jinx are planning on attacking the palace," said Lee. This shocked Bloom and Sky.
"I'll warn the guards and the Specialists," said Sky, "They'll keep a lookout for anything suspicious." Sky then went to do just that. The Witch Club were starting to feel guilty about all of this.
"This is our fault," said Jay, "They're probably retaliating for us going to Orion."
"Don't blame yourselves," said Bloom, "You did what you had to." They smiled at this as they heard music playing.
"Guess it's time for the dance," said Bloom ushering them over to the ballroom. The Witch Club were left to enjoy the festivities as the music took their troubles away. The members of the group, excluding Jay, Kendal, Joshua, and Lee found their significant others and started dancing across the floor with them. Jay and Kendal went to check the instruments backstage to see if they were ready for their portion of the program while Joshua went to dance with Candra. Lee, feeling a bit left out, found himself being approached by Brenton.
"May I have this dance?" The prince asked, extending his hand to Lee. The young fairy smiled and shyly accepted as he was pulled to the dance floor. As they danced, Lee leaned into Brenton, feeling safe in his embrace. Brenton blushed slightly, smiling at the small boy in his arms. Azar smiled as she saw them as Sky walked over to her, took her hand in his as they joined the two boys on the dance floor. Her eyes then caught sight of another young man watching her by the refreshment table. He had a medium skin tone, blond hair, and amber eyes. He wore a maroon waistcoat with gold buttons over a cream dress shirt with a violet bow tie, ivory pants, and black Chaco sandals with maroon straps. Sky saw this as they finished the dance and he led her over to the young man.
"May I have this dance, Crown Princess?" asked the young man, extending his hand to her. Azar took his hand and led him to the dance floor to dance alongside her brother and friend. Meanwhile, the Winx and their husbands were outside the palace, keeping a lookout for any danger. Sky joined them a few minutes after.
"Any sign of trouble?" Sky asked joining his wife.
"Nothing yet," said Bloom.
"The Pixies are checking inside, in case those warlocks blink inside," Flora added.
"I'll have to call Lucy and tell her what those three are doing," said Helia.
"I promised Azar that nothing was going to happen and I'm keeping that promise," said Bloom.
"Well, at least we have some extra dragon power inside the palace," said Stella.
"The Witch Club must be really feeling guilty about this," said Musa.
"They do," said Sky, "But it was that tyrant's fault, not theirs."
"I'm scanning the area now," said Tecna, already going to work on her magic tracker, "It should tell us where the Jinx are where and if they get here." Just as she said this, they all were attacked by a dark energy wave, knocking them out temporarily as the Jinx landed in front of them.
"I don't know how they found out we were coming, but we'll worry about that later," said Edur.
Back inside, the pixies sensed that their bonded fairies were in danger, with Lockette, Amore, and Chatta teleporting outside to see what was going on. After the dance had finished Azar and the mystery prince, Garnett he said his name was, went over to a corner to talk while Lee and Brenton went back to the refreshment table.
"Thanks for dancing with me, Brenton," Lee said.
"No problem, little buddy," Brenton replied, "That's what friends are for." Brenton noticed Lee had a worried look on his face.
"Hey," Brenton said, turning Lee so that he could face him, "Is everything okay."
Lee shook his head, "The Jinx are coming to the palace to retaliate." Brenton's eyes widened in shock and fear. Lee hung his head in shame, "It's all our fault...if we hadn't gone to Orion…," he was cut off as Brenton pulled him into a hug.
"Don't you dare blame yourself," Brenton said rubbing the back of Lee's head, "It's just them being petty and mean."
"Petty and mean?" asked a voice from above them, they looked up and saw the Jinx floating in the air, "No, no, no, no, we're evil." The crowd gasped at this and the Specialists present in the ballroom got their weapons ready.
"We heard there was a pre-coronation," said Erebus tauntingly, "We just came to congratulate the new crown princess." The Jinx then summoned ice, shadow, and storm golems, causing a panic in the crowd. The specialists got ready. The Witch Club and the descendants looked at each other, already deciding what to do.
"Magic Winx!" In a flash of light, the Witch Club and the Winx descendants transformed into their Winx forms.
"Magic Winx! Enchantix!" In a flash Kendal, Josh, and Brian already had transformed into their Enchantix forms. With that the groups took the air and prepared to fight the invading Warlocks while the Specialists present in the room defended the citizens from the golems.
"Looks like they could use some help," said Eleanie looking at her younger siblings.
"Magic Winx! Bloomix!" In a flash of light, the five siblings transformed into their Bloomix forms.
Eleanor, the Nymph of Energy, had her hair down with the front being combed to one side and with the other side braided into microbraids. She wore a cyan sleeveless tunic top with white, pink, and purple heart-like designs and pads with the bottom hearts becoming like a skirt, a translucent lavender organza cape, silver armbands, cyan leggings with white hearts, and gold heels. She also had a gold forehead tiara with a cyan gem in the center. Her wings were colored sky blue, white, and gold with pink borders.
Demetrios, the Fairy of Earth, had the front of his hair styled in the form of a French braid undercut. His outfit consists of a green sleeveless top with light green leaves, gold bracelets, a translucent yellow cape, brown leaf-like shorts, and green leg warmers with light green rock-like designs connected to green opened-toe boots with brown soles. He also wore a gold headband with a green gem in the center. His wings were a gradient orchid with lime green borders.
Ren, the Nymph of Water, had her hair down with a double braid around it. She wore a blue tunic tip with aquamarine bubbles and shoulder pads, translucent lilac organza strips, white bracers with turquoise trimming, violet tights with aquamarine stripes, and white heels. Her forehead tiara was violet with a blue gem hidden behind her bangs. Her wings are seashell-shaped and are colored sea green and blue with violet borders.
Vulcan, the Fairy of Fire, had his hair styled like a volcano. He wore a red sleeveless tunic with orange flame-like pads and black accents, a translucent gold organza cape, brown gauntlets with gray and black accents, shorts that were colored gold, yellow, orange, and red, and red leg warmers with black flames connected to red opened-toe boots with orange soles. His headband was orange with a red gem on his forehead. His wings were flame-shaped and colored red, orange, and yellow with black borders.
Tuuli, the Nymph of Air, had gained lighter blonde highlights in her hair. She wore a yellow tunic top with triangular angles for her skirt, white swirl designs, and orange shoulder pads, a translucent white organza cape, spiral brown and orange bracers, yellow tights with white swirls, and orange heels. Her forehead tiara was yellow with a violet gem. Her wings were yellow and white with violet borders.
(A/N: I may have borrowed some designs for the Winx's Bloomix when I decided to give them the Bloomix power). Demetrius, Ren, Vulcan, and Tuuli took the skies as Eleanie formed a barrier around the crowd to protect them from the battle. The Witch Club and the Specialists fought off the golems while the rangers were joined by the Winx Descendants to help defeat the Jinx.
Back outside, the Winx and their husbands were woken up by the Pixies.
"Bloom," said Lockette, "The Jinx are inside." Tecna was shocked when she realized they somehow evaded her magic tracker.
"I-I-I don't understand," said Tecna flabbergasted. Timmy held her hand.
"Don't worry about it, sweetie," Timmy replied, "We'll stop them."
With that, the Winx and their husbands got ready to fight.
"Magic Winx! Cosmix!" The Winx shouted as they transformed into their Cosmix forms and flew back into the palace to join the battle. Eldora, Daphne, Roxy, and Miele also transform to join the battle. They were then joined by the rest of their classmates, Morgana, Nebula, and Garnett.
Garnett, the Fairy of Gemstones, was now wearing a maroon fedora, an ivory colored sleeveless turtleneck, ivory gauntlets, maroon shorts, and maroon ankle-length boots. He also had ruby-colored wings on his back.
The Jinx angered by this development immediately summoned more golems to attack the fairies, these golems having the ability to fly. The groups then split up with the Winx helping Eleanor to protect the civilians adding their own magic to her barrier, the Earth fairies and the rest of the Alfea Descendents helped the Specialists and the Witch Club and Winx Descendents to take down the golems, and Brenton, Zoran, and Fester went head to head with the Jinx.
"Drago Bolt!" Brenton called out as he shot a powerful fire bolt at the Jinx, though Edur blocked it with an ice shield. Erebus, then, fired a blast of shadow energy at the group, only for it to be blocked by Zoran's solar shield. The Specialists and the Witch Club were fighting off the golems left and right, the Specialist swinging and firing their weapons and the Witch Club, the Winx Descendents, and the Alfea students firing magic blasts left and right.
"Petal Shield!" Fester called, summoning a shield made out of petals to block Molan's lightning bolt. The rest of the fairies and specialists were having difficulty killing the golems.
"Do you like the super strength spell we put on our Golems?" taunted Erebus, firing a dark bolt at the rangers, causing Karsyn to fire a light bolt in response. True to form, the golems proved to be too strong for the fairies to beat, however, they did seem to not be able to hold their own against the Enchantix powers.
"Arrow of Rage!" Kendal shouted as he fired an arrow of red emotional energy at some of the golems.
"Volcanic Storm!" Josh called as he shot lava out of his hands.
"Astral Bomb!" Brian called out as he threw a bomb of astral energy at the golems.
The Winx also shoot their Cosmix spells at the golems. However, more golems started emerging from the ashes. Josh, Brian, and Kendal flew up to use their fairy dust to get rid of the spell so their friends could take them out easier. Before they could, however, they found themselves being attacked by Molan's gust of wind which prevented them from activating their fairy dust.
Irate that they would dare threaten her friends and family, Azar flew up and behind the Jinx.
"Sphere of Fire!" she shouted as she shot a fireball at the Molan, striking him from behind and releasing her fellow third years from the attack. This angered the Jinx to the point where they turned their attacks on her.
"You'll pay for that, your highness!" seethed Edur as he and his brothers fired a dark Power of Three spell at her, which was blocked by Brenton's Dragon Barrier.
"Thanks, little bro," said Azar, "I got this." She flew up and called upon her Charmix powers, causing a silver 4-point star brooch around the magenta jewel and an aquamarine, red-violet, light purple, and sky blue 4-pointed star-shaped waist bag to appear on her Winx form.
"Elemental Storm!" She shouted as she fired a multicolored beam of elemental energy at the three warlocks pushing them to the ground. The Jinx turned their attention to Sky who was helping the Specialist lead the civilians to Eleanie's barrier. Seeing this as a way to get back at the fairies, the Jinx then combined their powers into one giant sphere and shot it at Sky frightening Bloom, Azar, and Brenton. Azar, not wanting to lose her father, put on Bloom's fairy dust necklace and flew over down to protect Sky. By the time Sky saw the sphere, Azar was already floating next to him, absorbing the spell into the fairy dust vial. During this process, Azar became wrapped in multicolored energy which turned into a cocoon. When she emerged, she had her Enchantix powers. Her hair grew longer, extending to her below her knees. It had been let down with sections of it tied into a flower braid. Her outfit turned into an azure halter dress with a magenta corset like fabric in the midsection. She gained salmon colored gloves and her boots had been replaced with azure barefoot sandals with blue hearts. She also sported an altered version of her mother's fairy dust vial with the pearlescent hearts replaced with diamonds that held a symbol for each of the five elements. Her wings became bigger in size and became pink, violet, and indigo with an azure bejewelled outlining.
"Woah, sis," said Brenton in awe, "You've earned your Enchantix powers! You've reached the next level!"
"Cool," said Azar, in awe. She flew back into the battlefield and sprinkled her fairy dust all over the golems along with Josh, Brian, and Kendal causing the spell to be removed giving their friends the chance to defeat the golems for good. With the golems defeated, the Rangers turned their attention to the Jinx, getting the Power of the Dragons ready until they saw them get trapped in a dark energy bubble. They all turned to see Helia walk in with an enraged Lucy.
"Teleportus!" shouted Lucy as the warlocks disappeared in a flash of light.
"On behalf of the Cloud Tower, I apologize for their actions," Lucy said as she approached Bloom.
Bloom merely smiled, "Thank you for coming."
Hours later, the party continued as normal as the Witch Club apologized to the newly dubbed crown princess.
"This is all our fault, Azar," said Jay, speaking for the entire group, "The Jinx came here to retaliate for us intruding into the palace of Orion."
Azar just smiled, "It wasn't your fault, Witch Club, warlocks are known to be petty. And in any case, I don't blame you." The Witch Club smiled when they heard this as Sky approached them.
"Hey, guys," he said, "It's time for you to perform." With that, the group went on stage to begin their performance as Azar joined Garnett who congratulated her on becoming an Enchantix fairy. They went to join the rest of the crowd as the Witch Club performed.
(Lee: You're in my life, every day you stand by me and embrace who I really am and who I want to be in this world.
Shelby: And now hand in hand, we're unbreakable, unstoppable, full of hope, full of joy, for what it means with you by my side, I'll never hide.
Ben: Now, I'm not afraid anymore, stronger than I was before, yeah, this is magic what you've given me.
Jay: No matter what steps we take, there's a bond you cannot break. So let's keep dancing.
All: Take my hand, here we go, we're stepping now as a pair.

BG Vocals: Any care.) (2) The group was met with applause from the guests as the Winx watched on. The magic dimension was in good hands.
I hope you all enjoy this chapter" because it took me days to come up with how to have Azar earn her Enchantix powers. Anyway, the next chapter should feature the Rangers' first training session with Daphne's kids. I'm still coming up with some outfits for them. I already have some training methods in mind and the first session. Also the Jinx's punishment might be seen in the next chapter. I just don't know what it will be yet. (1) The Royal attire of Eleanor, Vulcan, Ren, Vulcan, and Tuuli are all recolored versions of the royal attire from Disney Princess and Disney Prince with Eleanie and Ren wearing Elsa's coronation and Snow Queen attire respectively, Demetrios and Vulcan each wearing slightly modified versions of Prince Henry and Prince Florian's outfits respectively, and Tuuli wearing Snow White's attire.
