Reaction on Dac
On Dac in the underground many Mon Calamari and Quarren were talking and watching the broad cast showing the battle and the escape of the rebels. After it ended a Quarren came up and spoke. "People of Dac, my name is Seggor Tels," he stated
He was greeted by many hateful glares both many Mon Calamari and Quarren. A few looked ready to murder him.
"I was responsible because I was a member of the Quarren Isolation League. When my faction lost the Clone Wars I was filled with bitter resentment. As such I was the one that leaked to the Empire that King Lee Char was hiding a Jedi. Which lead to a decimation of our planet along with our people becoming slaves." He said
"Traitor!" yelled a Mon Calamari
"I lost my brother because of you!" added a Quarren
Many more insults and threats were hurled at him before the room became quiet.
Seggor then resumed to speaking again. "I regret that allowed my blind bigotry to guide my actions. I have lived in exile beneath the seas. Reflecting on my actions. Now thanks to the efforts of the Jedi Jarik Shan, it shows that we can rise up and fight the empire! I say we end the feud between Quarren and Mon Calamari. Join together and fight against the empire!" he said
At this many joined in as well. "Yes for freedom! For the King! For unity!" said the crowed.
Among them a young mon calamari smiled. "Uncle Merai we will win freedom!" he said
