Vegas challenge 3

When Harry woke up he was not feeling good at all. He opened his eyes and immediately shut them as it seemed like someone had turned the brightness all the way up and then some. He groans and rolls over hoping to go back to sleep and only to find something unexpected next to him. He cracks an eye open and next to him he sees this gorgeous red head. That answered he closes his eyes again and tries to go back to sleep. As soon as he does that though his brain kicks in. He didn't come to Vegas with anyone with red hair and only Tonks can make herself have red hair, so he has no idea who this woman is in bed next to him. He immediately springs up out of bed only to realize to late that is a mistake as the room spins and he promptly falls over.

Barabara wakes up after hearing a thud and she groggily sits up in bed only to realize she is naked. With that realization she begins to try and think through the night before and keeps coming up empty. Its clear though that she slept with someone. Given the lack of another person in bed and the thud she heard it would seem the person she slept with tried to get up and fell.

She looks around for something to throw on and spies a dress shirt next to the bed. Quickly putting it on she gets up slowly and walks around to check on the person on the floor. When she gets to the other side of the bed she looks down at the handsome young man on the floor seemingly familiar but she doesn't know why. She reaches down to shake him awake and that's when she sees it, a wedding ring. She sits on the edge of the bed just staring at it for awhile.

Now that the room stopped spinning Harry opens his eyes a crack and sees the red head from earlier sitting on the edge of his bed staring at her hand, a hand that has a wedding ring on it. 'Great Harry that's all you need an angry husband after you, you just dealt with one man trying to kill you and now you will have another' Harry thinks to himself. Harry sits up and clears his throat. "I am sorry miss but I hope your husband wont be to mad at me I can't even tell you what happened last night." Harry tries to explain

The red head looks at him in shock for a minute before shaking her head and chuckling. "Considering I do believe you're the husband you should be alright. I'm Barbara by the way"

Harry smiles at that "Well as far as Vegas weddings go I could have done much worse I mean your gorgeous Barbara. I'm Harry Potter. Do you know were we are? This doesn't look like my Hotel room." Harry asks staring around

At that point there is a nock on the door. Harry stand up to get it. Standing up he realizes he is naked and quickly summons a towel from the bathroom to wrap around his waist. He goes to the door completely missing the look of shock on Barbara's face. When he gets to the door he opens it to find Neville and a green young woman. "Nev what's going on? Where is everyone? Who is that with you? Were am I? DO you remember anything from last night because apparently I got married?"

Neville shakes his head "I couldn't tell you much I woke up about an hour ago not in our hotel either. This is Pamela Longbottom I to got married last night and while I don't remember much she does and she has pictures. You are at Caesars Palace I guess you won big here and they comped you a suite."

Harry nods "I would ask you to come in but my wife isn't dressed yet. Why don't you go down and get us a table for food and we will meet you down there in like 30 minutes."

Neville nods "Sounds good. After you guys eat and we are all properly introduced we should try and find everyone else. Hermione lost in Vegas could be trouble."

With that Harry makes his way back to the bedroom and Neville and Pamela head down to see about food. Once he arrives back in the room he explains to Barbara about who was at the door and the plans he made. "Look I understand if you want to go your own way or get a divorce or whatever but I have to find the people I came with."

Barbara nods her head "Why don't you shower and then I'll shower while you get dressed and we can go down to," she looks at the bedside clock "lunch and then go find your friends and my friends and go from there."

Once Harry and Barbara get downstairs they meet up with Neville and Pamela and begin eating lunch. "So Pamela what happened last night? I am sure you didn't start the night with us but clearly you joined at some point." Harry asks

Pamela smiles as he didn't ask about her being green before beginning "Well see the Bellagio was putting on a gardening conference and I was the keynote speaker. That is where I first met Neville. After the conference ended for the day he left to go have dinner with you while I went to the bar to have dinner and begin drinking. About an hour later I wandered out onto the casino floor and began playing roulette. I was doing alright when Neville showed up clearly having been drinking but not enough to be drunk yet. We got to talking and I ended up spending the night walking and talking with him as we gambled. He introduced me to you and shortly after we all departed for Caesars. At this point it was just you Neville and I. When we got here we ran into Barbara and she quickly joined our little group. Everyone kept drinking and as you kept drinking Harry kept winning and eventually Caesars comped you a room for the week. We left and the sun was just starting to crack over the horizon but you guys wanted to keep playing so we went to a few other casinos and Harry kept winning. Eventually day turned into night and Harry here suggested that we should all get married. 'After all Nev when else are you going to find someone who loves plants more than you do, and when am I ever going to find a lady who doesn't care I am Lord Black.' We all agreed and at the advice of Zatanna we went to a wedding chapel run by the goblins. We got married and went back to our rooms for the night."

Harry shakes his head "Sounds like we split up after dinner. Well I guess we start at the Venetian and go from there. If I won so much money where is it? The room was rather empty."

Pamela nods "The goblins took it."

Barbara nods knowing all about goblins though not this Lord Black business. She turns to look at Harry "So Lord Black huh is that some English title?"

Harry smiles a sad smile "It is. My Godfather passed it to me after he was killed by his cousin. Though I am also Lord Potter. I am likely going to simply combine the families along with the other titles I won. But let's not talk about that now."

Barabara knowing a sore spot when she sees it agrees and they begin their hunt for Harry and Nevilles friends. Their first stop is back to the Venetian. When they arrive they immediately go up to the rooms they had and knock to see if anyone is there. Mr. and Mrs. Granger open their door and at seeing Harry and Neville as well as their guests invite them in. Once the introductions are done they tell Harry and company that while Hermione was in her room last night she had gone out to see a show. The last they had heard from Remus was him talking to an old coworker about some new business launching. After getting the name of the show Hermione went to, they depart.

They catch up to Hermione as she was leaving the show and with her is a nice young man who doesn't look to be much older than Harry. This young man is introduced as Dick Grayson. While Hermione admits they had been doing things together neither would call it dating. When everyone is introduced, they settle in for a snack at a local café to figure out the next steps.

"So, Hermione any idea what business Remus was listening to last night?" Harry asks

"Yes actually, after we watched Zatanna and her show you played some poker with some business types and ended up winning controlling interest in a company called UFC. Other than it being a fighting thing I couldn't tell you much more. I will say the wedding photos were great though." Hermione answers

Harry smiles at that "You have them then? I'm sure we will want to look through them at some point. And Tonks do we have any idea what happened to her?"

Hermione shakes her head "No idea. I remember her saying something about tigers before she ran off and disappeared."

Harry shakes his head "And she was supposed to be an adult on the trip. Well let's go track down this UFC thing and see if we can't find Remus from there."

They all agreed and after a quick search on were that would be they head out. Once they arrive Harry walks in to find a strange sight. He wasn't sure what he was expecting but a gym certainly wasn't it. When he talked to the front desk he and his party were escorted up a set of stairs off to the side and into a conference room overlooking the gym. Once everyone is settled in they begin the wait for whoever is going to meet with them.

After a short wait a man comes in and introduces himself as Dana White. After introductions are made Harry gets right into it "I was told you had a meeting with a Remus Lupin last night, he is a family friend, and we seem to have lost him. Could you explain what the meeting was about and if you have seen him today."

Dana nods before starting "Well the short answer is he is down in the gym sparring with one of the fighters. We talked about him possibly signing on for a few fights given his background in bareknuckle boxing and his recent awarding of the George Cross he should draw a solid number of viewers."

Harry nods "I can't tell you what he won that for but let me tell you he and several others including myself Neville and Hermione here all were part of the operation that ended with us all being awarded the George Cross. It will be good for him to have a stable job I know he has struggled with that at times. As the owner I can ensure he always has a job here, correct? Not as a fighter that would be crazy."

Dana nods "You certainly can yes. On the note of the business is there a time we can get together and talk about what the future holds and everything? Also would you like to go down and see Remus?"
Harry nods "To be completely honest with you I don't even really know what this is so a meeting to figure out everything would be great. How does next week sound? I'll leave my room number with the desk and will let you know when I get my new phone. I would love to go see Remus perhaps he has answers on where our pink haired friend went."

Dana nods "Tonks, right? She was heading to the Siegfried and Roy show." They head downstairs and go to back were Harry spots Remus immediately though the sight is one he hadn't thought to see the man in. Remus was mounted on a training dummy landing what looked like vicious punches to the dummies face.

Harry calls out "Hey Remus I have some questions for you."

Remus immediately stops what he is doing and turns to see who is yelling at him. When he sees Harry, his face breaks out into a big smile. "Hey pup glad to see you. Care to introduce me to your friends?"

After introductions are made Remus agrees to help find Tonks and heads off to shower. After he comes back, they head out to see about the show she was supposed to be at. When they get to the casino with the show, they are told that Tonks was escorted off the premises by the police at around 3AM. Everyone just shakes their head and heads to the police station.

When they get there its decided Remus will do the talking as he is the only one who looks like a responsible adult. Remus goes to the desk sergeant and asks about Tonks. He is told she is being held in the drunk tank and will face several misdemeanor charges that will ultimately land her on a restricted list for the next several years as well as a hefty fine. After Harry pays the fine to get her out she is escorted out and she looks terrible.

Once they have Tonks and exit the police station Barbara turns to Harry "alright now that we have found your party, we all I think need to go somewhere and have a very real conversation."

Harry nods "Why don't we go to Gringotts, and we can get most if not all your questions answered there."

After Barbara and Pamela agree Dick decides to leave and Hermione goes with him. They make their way to the bank and after securing a conference room Harry begins "I am what is called in Europe a wizard, I come from a very prestigious and old family though I was raised in the nonmagical world after my parents were killed. My aunt and uncle hate magic though my cousin has stopped hating it. I went to a school called Hogwarts for 5 years and while I have 2 years of school left I will not be returning. During my school days I fought the man who killed my parents 4 times. Shortly before the end of this last year I went into the Ministry of Magic with several of my friends to try and save my Godfather based off a false vision I had been fed by the man who killed my Parents. In the end we dueled my Godfather died Reinforcements arrived and I killed him. Because of my presence in the non-magical world the Queen was able to give me and several others the George Cross this is in addition to the award I got from the Ministry of Magic. Any questions?"

Barbara looks at him stunned "I have so many questions, but I guess the most important ones are Do you plan on living in the non-magical world, and how does that effect our marriage?"

Harry looks at her before answering "I hadn't given it to much thought on where I would live but I know I want to catch up on my non magical schooling especially since I won't be returning to Hogwarts to finish my education. I want to be more than just some rich kid who plays with the family money. As far as our marriage I am leaving that entirely up to you if you wish to stick it out or leave, have separate residences, live separate lives. These things are not uncommon in Magical Britian. I will say though your smart and sexy and seem to have a good head on your shoulders it would be a shame if we had to part ways."

Barbara nods "I wouldn't have said yes to marrying you if I didn't see something in you. My dad raised me better than that. I say we give this a real try, and we can go from there."

Harry smiles "Sounds good. In that case we should get my account manager in here so he can go over the family finances and properties and we can figure out a game plan. I assume you're in university or will be soon?"

Barbara nods "I just finished my first year at Gotham University. It's a good school and my father is the police commissioner, so I feel safe."

Harry nods as a goblin walks in "Greetings Leonidus I trust my trip has been as fruitful for you as it was for me? This is my wife Barbara Potter? Barbara Black? we haven't really talked about that part yet. She is a student Gotham University."

Leonidus sits across the table and sets his pile of folders down. "It has certainly been an interesting trip. I never thought I would see this much insanity in such a short amount of time. I assume you want to go over everything you did since you landed and then look into property around Gotham?"

Harry nods "That would be wonderful"

Leonidus turns to Barbara and extends his hand "Nice to meet you lady Potter Black. You shall have fun with this one his luck is that of devils I swear. Kills a dark lord gets rewarded for it back in may and now in August they want to arrest him and seize his assets because he is uncontrollable. Kills a basilisk gets bit by said snake almost dies. Comes to Vegas to gamble gets a wife a new company and a slew of paperwork." He then laughs

Harry smiles while Barabara shakes his hand mechanically because she is stunned by what was just said. Harry chimes in "Did you just compare me getting married to almost dying in the worst way possible? What's this craziness about back home?"

Leonidus looks chagrined "I didn't mean it that way and you know it. Dumbledore doesn't like your choice for proxy and that you moved into the grey faction and broke the alliance set up with himself. Fudge is a fool who doesn't what is best for his pocketbook."

Harry shakes his head "Have the others been informed? How soon could all my assets be brought over here and properties converted to the muggle side?"

Leonidus nods "It is being done as we speak should take roughly 3 days. We just got news of it this morning. Her majesty has been informed and is quite peeved with Dumbledore and Fudge. They have been informed and all but Luna are currently relocating. The Lovegood family hasn't had a permanent residence in over 50 years. They go where magic takes them."

Barbara buts in here "I'm sorry but are you saying That Harry is going to be a wanted man soon? Also, who is everyone?"
Both men turn to her before starts "I'm sorry I got to talking and forgot you where there for a second. To answer your questions likely yes but only to Magical Brittan the ICW has no power and the rest of the world doesn't like Britain so we are fine. Everyone is Luna Lovegood, Ron Fred George and Ginny Weasley, Augusta Longbottom and a few people I played Quidditch with in school."

Barbara nods "So You are going to move to Gotham then?"

Harry nods "I don't see any reason not to."

Leonidus chimes in "That's good because you won a nice chunk of Luthor Corp last night and because of its CEO I took the liberty of buying controlling interest. After all 40% is great but selling it all because Lex is a criminal would have netted you a loss were as simply buying 15% more would net you a company with wonderful assets for future growth."

Barbara looks at him "Harry controls Lex Corp now? Can we ensure Lex doesn't do anything funny with the money or the patents or anything before we throw him out on his ass."

Harry looks between the 2 "Is he really that bad?

Barbabra looks at him "He has been arrested multiple times for crimes just short of domestic terrorism."

Harry nods "He could be a problem. I assume he will be handled with care?"
