The genin teams gathered at the entrance of Training Ground 43, also known as the Forest of Death, eyed the dark, foreboding trees with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

Kiba crossed his arms, his voice tinged with excitement. "I heard this place is crawling with giant bugs and poisonous plants. This is going to be awesome!"

Hinata looked nervously at the dense foliage. "I hope we can make it through safely."

Naruto stood slightly apart from the group, his expression calm but his patience wearing thin. "Can we just get this part over with?" he muttered under his breath.

Just then, Kiyomi Uchiha stepped forward, glaring at the proctor with impatience. "Speak up, Proctor! We don't have all day."

Anko Mitarashi, the proctor, shot her a shar look. "Hold your horses, Uchiha. I'll explain everything in due time. And trust me, you'll want to listen carefully if you want to make it out of here alive."

The genin teams from various villages gathered at the edge of Training Ground 43, the infamous Forest of Death. The forest loomed before them, its dense canopy blocking out most of the sunlight, casting eerie shadows on the ground. The air was thick with the smell of damp earth and decaying leaves, and an unsettling silence hung over the area, broken only by the occasional rustle of unseen creatures moving within the undergrowth.

The trees were ancient and twisted, their gnarled branches reaching out like skeletal fingers. Thick vines hung down, swaying gently in the breeze, while patches of dense fog clung to the forest floor, obscuring the ground beneath. Dark, ominous shapes flickered in the mist, and the faint sound of distant animal cries added to the unnerving atmosphere.

The genin from all the villages exchanged uneasy glances, their bravado waning as they took in the creepy and spooky surroundings. The tension was palpable, a mix of fear and excitement as they prepared to enter one of the most dangerous training grounds in the ninja world.

Anko Mitarashi stood in front of the assembled genin, her smile a mix of excitement and menace. She handed out papers and scrolls to each Genin.

"Alright, listen up," she said loudly, her voice carrying over the murmur of the crowd. "These are liability waivers. By signing these, you're acknowledging that if you die in that forest, Leaf is not responsible. Understand?"

The genin exchanged uneasy glances but began signing the scroll. Once she collected the signed waivers, Anko held up two scrolls, one marked with the kanji for "Heaven" and the other for "Earth."

"Each team will receive one of these scrolls," she explained. "You have five days to make it to the tower in the center of the forest with both a Heaven and an Earth scroll. That means you'll need to find a team with the opposite scroll and take it from them."

Ino raised her hand, a skeptical look on her face. "So we have to fend for ourselves for five days? What if we run out of food?"

Anko's smile widened. "I don't care, grow up, girl. This is a survival test."

Anko continued, her tone serious. "If you don't reach the tower within five days, you fail. If you open the scroll before reaching the tower, you fail. Any questions? No? Good. Now head to your designated gates and get ready. Your survival starts now."

The genin teams, their nerves palpable, moved towards their assigned gates, the weight of the challenge ahead settling heavily on their shoulders.

As the genin teams entered the Forest of Death, tension and anticipation filled the air. Ten minutes into their journey, Miku gathered her team in a small clearing.

"I have a plan," Miku said, her voice calm but determined. "Ayato, I need you to sit down near that tree and act like you're dead."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, his expression neutral. "And how are you going to do that? If you use Transformation to fake bleeding, any sensor will figure it out."

Miku met his gaze steadily. "Naruto, you'll be responsible for making it look real. We need to fool anyone who comes near."

Ayato looked skeptical. "How will we get the scroll?"

Miku explained, "I'll hide in the bushes and put anyone who approaches under a genjutsu. Naruto, you'll take care of them while they're distracted."

Naruto nodded, turning to Miku. "Do you have any water, Miku?"

Miku handed him a canteen. "Yes, here."

Naruto looked at Ayato. "I need you to gather 100 hibiscus flowers."

Ayato nodded and quickly set off to find the flowers. Naruto scouted the area, setting traps around Ayato's designated spot to make it look like he had fallen into them and died.

Once Ayato returned with the flowers, Naruto meticulously ground them up, creating a vivid red liquid. He motioned for Ayato to lie down and then poured the red water over Ayato's shirt and pants, using a brush he made from the fur of a dead animal caught in one of his traps to create a realistic blood trail on Ayato's face.

Naruto stepped back, inspecting his work. "Alright, Ayato, stay still. Miku, get into position."

Ayato lay motionless, and Miku concealed herself in the bushes, ready to cast her genjutsu. Naruto took a deep breath, his expression as calm as ever, and waited for their first unsuspecting target to arrive.

Forty minutes had passed. Ayato, covered in the faux blood Naruto had prepared, leaned back against a tree, feigning unconsciousness with a convincing wound on his head. Miku remained hidden in the bushes, her senses alert and ready to cast her genjutsu at a moment's notice.

High above in the dense foliage, Naruto hid among the branches, his sharp eyes scanning the area. He pulled back the string of his bow, and with a soft hum, an arrow made of pure chakra materialized, aimed directly at Ayato.

The forest was eerily silent, the anticipation thick in the air. Naruto's voice, barely above a whisper, reached Miku through their communication devices. "Miku, any signs of movement?"

Miku's voice came back, equally soft. "Not yet, but stay ready. They could come from any direction."

Ayato, maintaining his act, muttered quietly, "How much longer do you think we need to keep this up?"

Naruto's eyes remained focused on the surroundings. "As long as it takes. Remember, the goal is to lure them in. Stay still."

Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes. Miku tensed, her hands poised to weave the signs for her genjutsu. "I hear something," she whispered.

Naruto adjusted his aim slightly, ensuring his chakra arrow was ready to release at any sign of danger. "Everyone stay sharp. This could be it."

The rustling grew louder, and a shadow emerged from the foliage. Naruto's grip tightened on the bow, his calm exterior masking the adrenaline coursing through him. "Get ready," he breathed, his voice carrying an edge of determination.

As Naruto sat perched on a sturdy branch, his senses alert to the sounds of the forest, he felt a subtle shift beneath him. Glancing down, he noticed a shinobi from the Hidden Grass lying on the branch above, a tube made of bamboo in his hand.

Curiosity piqued, Naruto observed as the Grass ninja deftly opened the tube, revealing a small grass snake coiling around his hand. Despite the potentially dangerous situation, the snake seemed oddly calm, showing no signs of aggression towards Naruto.

Unbeknownst to Naruto, the Grass ninja's movements were calculated and sneaky. With practiced skill, he quietly opened the back pouch on Naruto's shinobi pouch, his movements swift and precise. Though Naruto remained unaware of the Grass ninja's presence, the ninja remained cautious, ensuring his actions went unnoticed.

As the Grass ninja attempted to sneakily pilfer from Naruto's shinobi pouch, Naruto's senses tingled with alertness. With quick reflexes, he tapped his index finger twice on his bow, emitting a soft sound that caught the attention of a nearby snake.

In one fluid motion, Naruto unleashed a chakra arrow and shot it into the dense foliage of the forest, creating a diversion. The Grass ninja, thinking he could escape unnoticed, clenched his fist and pointed confidently in the direction of the sound.

But Naruto was already one step ahead. Without even glancing in the direction of the Grass ninja, he activated a switch hidden in his palm. A chain shot out from his sleeve, the pointed end piercing the Grass ninja's forehead with lethal precision.

As the Grass ninja fell to the ground, Naruto's expression hardened with disdain. "Idiot," he muttered, his voice dripping with contempt for the fallen shinobi's foolishness in underestimating him. With a flick of his wrist, Naruto retracted the chain and turned his attention back to the task at hand, his focus unwavering as he continued to navigate the treacherous terrain of the Forest of Death.

As Ayato lay on the ground, feigning death, a member of the Grass team approached cautiously to inspect him. Just as the Grass ninja bent down, Miku sprang into action from her hiding place in the bushes, casting a swift genjutsu. The Grass ninja's eyes glazed over, trapped in an illusion.

Naruto, hidden in the dense flora of a tree, took his cue. With precision, he fired a chakra arrow that struck the Grass ninja in the thigh. The ninja cried out and collapsed, clutching his leg.

Before anyone could react, the last member of the Grass team appeared, pressing a kunai to Miku's head. "Get out now, and tell your teammates to show themselves!" he commanded, his voice dripping with tension.

Miku, maintaining her composure, signaled to Ayato and Naruto to reveal themselves. As they stepped out into the open, the Grass ninja's eyes darted between them, his grip on the kunai tightening. "Hand over your scroll," he demanded.

Miku reached into her shinobi pouch, producing the scroll. Just as she extended it towards the Grass ninja, a chakra arrow pierced his leg, causing him to stumble and fall. Shocked, he looked around, trying to comprehend what had happened. "How...?" he gasped.

In a puff of smoke, Naruto vanished, revealing that it had been a shadow clone. The real Naruto stepped out from behind a tree, his expression calm and collected.

Miku and Ayato stared at him in surprise. "You know shadow clone jutsu?" Miku asked, astonished.

"Yes," Naruto replied simply.

"Why didn't you ever tell us?" Miku pressed.

Naruto shrugged. "You never asked," he said, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips. He then turned his attention to the fallen Grass ninja, his eyes narrowing. "Let's secure their scrolls and move on. We don't have time to waste."

Naruto knelt beside the fallen leader of the Grass team, searching through his belongings. He pulled out a scroll and examined it. "Heaven scroll," he announced, disappointment evident in his tone. "We need the Earth scroll."

Ayato frowned, looking at the scroll. "Let's keep it anyway. Less competition if we have both," he suggested.

The leader of the Grass team, clutching his injured leg, looked up at Naruto, fear in his eyes. "Are you going to kill us?" he asked, his voice shaking.

Miku stepped forward, her expression calm but cold. "No..." she began, but before she could finish, the chain tip shot out from Naruto's sleeve, stabbing into the Grass leader's skull and killing him instantly.

Ayato and Miku stared at Naruto in shock. "Naruto...?" Ayato started, but Naruto cut him off.

"He was a threat," Naruto said simply, his voice devoid of emotion. "No need to leave potential problems behind."

Miku glanced at the other Grass ninja who was still under her genjutsu. "What about him?"

Naruto turned his cold gaze to the remaining Grass ninja. "Leave him. He'll be eaten by the wild animals soon enough. No need to get too much blood on our hands."

Miku and Ayato nodded, understanding the ruthless logic behind Naruto's actions. As they gathered their supplies and prepared to move deeper into the forest, Naruto took one last look at the dead Grass ninja. "Let's go. We have more important things to do than waste time here."

With that, the team moved on, leaving the gruesome scene behind them.

As Team 12 moved through the dense foliage of the Forest of Death, they suddenly came face to face with Team 10: Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino. Naruto's expression remained indifferent as he acknowledged Shikamaru and Choji with a brief nod but pointedly ignored Ino.

"Hey, Naruto," Ayato whispered to Miku. "Did you notice how he completely ignored Ino?"

Miku nodded slightly. "Yeah, I did. Must be something personal. Let's keep an eye on him."

Shikamaru stepped forward, eyeing Naruto. "What scroll are you guys searching for?"

Naruto met his gaze, his expression unreadable. "Why don't you speak first?"

Ino crossed her arms, looking annoyed. "Why don't you trust anyone, Naruto?"

Without looking at her, Naruto replied coldly, "This is the Chunin Exam, not a walk in the village. We shinobi were told not to trust anyone."

Ayato wisely kept silent, while Miku nodded in agreement with Naruto's words.

Shikamaru sighed and turned to Ino. "Naruto is right. Right now, we are enemies. But I do have a proposition. We're in search of a Heaven's scroll. If you can give us that, we can help you with the Earth scroll."

Ayato's eyes lit up with excitement. "We can get the Earth scroll now!"

Naruto and Miku immediately turned to Ayato, their faces clearly conveying a silent rebuke: *Bitch, do you have to open your mouth so much?*

Naruto sighed, then turned back to Shikamaru. "We might consider your proposition. But you better not try anything funny."

Shikamaru nodded, a smirk forming on his face. "Troublesome, but fair enough. Let's make this quick."

As the teams began to negotiate, Naruto kept a close watch on Ino, still wary of any sudden moves. The uneasy alliance formed, both teams moved forward with caution, their temporary truce hanging by a thread.

Miku reached into her shinobi pouch, pulling out a Heaven scroll. Simultaneously, Shikamaru retrieved an Earth scroll from his bag. Just as the exchange was about to take place, Naruto stepped forward, stopping Miku with a raised hand.

"Wait," Naruto said firmly. "Shikamaru, open your scroll. We need to make sure it's not carrying an explosive tag or any other trap."

Shikamaru frowned, clearly irritated. "Don't try to act smart, Naruto. We were told if we open the scroll before reaching the tower, we will be disqualified."

Naruto smirked slightly. "Well, it's good you were not sleeping when that woman was babbling. Alright, let's do this."

With a wary glance, Shikamaru handed over the Earth scroll, and Miku passed the Heaven scroll to him. Both teams held their breath for a moment, scanning the area for any signs of trickery.

The trade was quick and precise. As soon as both parties had their respective scrolls, they took a step back.

"Alright," Shikamaru said, tucking the Heaven scroll into his pouch. "We're done here. But remember, we're enemies now."

Naruto nodded, his eyes cold and calculating. "Yeah, I know. See you at the tower, if you make it."

With that, the two teams turned and went their separate ways, each group vanishing into the thick forest, their temporary alliance dissolved and replaced by the tension of competition. The sound of leaves rustling and the distant calls of forest creatures echoed around them, a reminder of the danger that still lurked in every shadow.

As Naruto, Miku, and Ayato made their way through the village after securing both scrolls, they suddenly saw Kiyomi being thrown out of the trees. She crashed into Naruto, knocking him to the ground before being thrown into the trees herself.

Naruto pushed himself up, scowling. "Bitch, get up from me!" he snapped, glaring at Kiyomi. "What the fuck are you doing crashing into me?"

Kiyomi, scrambling to her feet with a flushed face, shot back, "It's not like I wanted to land on you, idiot! Just be glad I didn't flatten you completely." Despite her harsh words, her eyes betrayed a hint of concern.

As Kiyomi stood up with Miku's help, Naruto dusted himself off and glared at her. "Ok, don't you have anything else to do, like searching for the scroll, rather than crashing into me, nearly crushing my ribs, and trying to land on my balls?"

Kiyomi huffed, brushing leaves off her clothes. "For your information, I was ambushed! It's not like I planned to use you as a landing pad."

Before Naruto could retort, Ayato's voice cut through, now serious and tense. "Naruto, get up. Something's coming, and he's powerful."

Naruto's expression shifted from annoyance to focus as he stood up, readying himself for whatever was approaching. "Alright, let's deal with this."

As Kiyomi,Naruto, Miku, and Ayato braced themselves, a Grass shinobi suddenly appeared, throwing Mito at them. She crashed into Naruto, sending them both sprawling.

Naruto groaned, "Seriously? More people crashing into me?"

He pushed Mito away gently and got to his feet, glaring at the Grass shinobi. The figure stood alone but had an unsettling, snake-like appearance: very pale skin, golden eyes with slitted pupils, purple markings around his eyes, and fang-like teeth. His pronounced cheekbones and straight, waist-length black hair with some locks covering and framing his face or reaching his shoulders made him even more eerie.

As Naruto took in the shinobi's features, he noticed the androgynous look and the black eye markings. The shinobi wore his hair in a ponytail, with two locks framing the sides of his face. His skin-tone was strikingly fair.

Miku and Ayato readied themselves, and Miku whispered, "Who is that?"

Naruto's eyes narrowed. "That's no ordinary shinobi," he muttered. "Get ready. This guy's dangerous."

The shinobi's lips curled into a menacing smile. "Oh, how delightful. Fresh prey."

Team 12 stood their ground, staring at Orochimaru in shock and disbelief.

Ayato, his voice a mixture of fear and confusion, asked, "Why are we supposed to fight you?"

Miku nodded, her eyes wide. "You're one of the legendary Sannin. We don't stand a chance."

Naruto's smirk faded slightly as he glanced back at his teammates. "He's not here for us specifically," he said, his tone grim. "He wants something more... and he's willing to take us down to get it."

Orochimaru chuckled, the sound sending chills down their spines. "Oh, but you're all such interesting specimens," he said. "I can't resist testing your limits. Besides, it will be good practice for you."

Naruto clenched his fists, his eyes narrowing. "We're not your playthings, Orochimaru."

Orochimaru's smile widened. "We'll see about that, won't we?"

As Ayato and the rest prepared for the fight, Naruto held up three fingers, signaling Plan 3. Ayato immediately moved into position, drawing his weapons.

Miku then activated her genjutsu, her eyes focusing intensely on Orochimaru. She began weaving intricate hand signs.

Naruto turned to Kiyomi and Suki. "Go find your teammate and make sure she's okay. Then join the fight as fast as you can."

Kiyomi scowled, her voice dripping with her usual tsundere attitude. "Don't boss me around like that, idiot. I was going to do it anyway."

Naruto rolled his eyes. "Women," he muttered under his breath, then took a deep breath. "Fuck it, suit yourself."

As Kiyomi started to retort, "Hey, don't you dare ignore—"

Naruto cut her off by rushing headlong into battle. "No time for this. Let's go!"

Orochimaru's smile widened as he saw Naruto charging at him. "Ah, the bravado of youth. Let's see what you're made of."

Naruto's focus sharpened, his determination clear as he joined Ayato and Miku in their coordinated attack against the formidable Sannin.

Ayato slammed into Orochimaru with all his might, managing to momentarily stagger the Sannin. Miku finished her hand seals, and a terrifying Genjutsu demon materialized beside her.

()

"Attack him, Ido!" Miku commanded, her voice strong and resolute. She joined the assault, launching a series of kunai at Orochimaru.

Orochimaru retaliated swiftly, summoning a massive battle snake that surged toward Miku with deadly speed. Just as the snake was about to strike, Naruto, who had been rushing towards the fray, leapt from a nearby tree.

()

"Not on my watch!" Naruto yelled, bringing down his war hammer with a powerful swing. The hammer connected with the snake, causing it to vanish in a puff of smoke.

"Nice timing, Naruto!" Miku shouted, relieved.

"Stay focused," Naruto replied, his eyes locked onto Orochimaru. "This fight is far from over."

Orochimaru's sinister smile returned as he assessed his opponents. "Impressive, but you'll need more than brute force and illusions to defeat me."

Naruto tightened his grip on his war hammer, ready for the next move. "We'll see about that."

Ayato clung tightly to Orochimaru, attempting to restrain him. Orochimaru, with a swift and brutal motion, delivered a haymaker to Ayato, sending him crashing to the ground. Orochimaru followed up with a powerful kick, launching Ayato several feet away.

Just then, Ido, the Genjutsu demon, charged at Orochimaru. Unfazed, Orochimaru summoned another battle snake, which lunged at Ido. Orochimaru then turned his attention to Miku, who was nearby. He grabbed her, intending to subdue her quickly.

However, Miku twisted her body in mid-air and delivered a powerful knee strike to Orochimaru's face. Orochimaru staggered back, a surprised yet amused expression on his face.

()

"Well, well," Orochimaru said, wiping a trickle of blood from his lip. "It seems you're not entirely defenseless after all. This could be... interesting."

As Orochimaru staggered back from Miku's knee strike, Naruto took the opportunity to launch a surprise attack from above. He descended rapidly, landing a solid punch on Orochimaru's face, sending him flying backward.

However, Orochimaru's resilience and speed were unmatched. Almost instantly, he reappeared in front of Naruto, his hand grabbing Naruto's face with a vice-like grip. Orochimaru slammed Naruto headfirst into a nearby rock, dragging his face across the rough surface, leaving a trail of blood and debris. With a final, powerful motion, he threw Naruto aside.

Without hesitation, Orochimaru summoned another battle snake, which lunged forward and swallowed Naruto whole, the enormous serpent disappearing into the underbrush with its prey.

Miku and Ayato, recovering from their previous attacks, looked on in horror.

"Naruto!" Miku screamed, her voice filled with desperation.

Ido, having devoured the battle snake, charged at Orochimaru. Orochimaru deftly pulled his Kusanagi blade from his mouth and impaled Ido in the head, dispelling the genjutsu demon and sending it back to Miku. He then backhanded Miku into a wall, where Ayato managed to catch her.

Just as Orochimaru steadied himself, he had to dodge a volley of fireballs from Kiyomi. "Well, well, look who it is. The female Uchiha," Orochimaru taunted, grinning maliciously. He suddenly ducked under a slash from Suki, who was enveloped in the Nine-Tails' chakra.

Orochimaru's grin widened as he mocked Suki, "Is that all you're capable of? Relying on the Nine-Tails' chakra? Pathetic."

Orochimaru stood confidently on his battle snake, watching as Suki, shrouded in Nine-Tails' chakra, raced towards him. With a swift movement, he leaped back, grabbed her hand, spun her around, and threw her into Kiyomi.

Suddenly, the massive snake was sliced into three pieces. Orochimaru turned to see Ayato, both arms crackling with lightning that reminded Orochimaru of Kakashi's Raikiri, though it was distinctly different. Orochimaru swatted away a Water Ball Jutsu from Miku, standing firm as Kiyomi and Suki from Team 11, along with Ayato and Miku from Team 12, faced him.

"Is this all Konoha has to offer?" Orochimaru mocked, his eyes glinting with amusement. "A few children playing shinobi? You can't possibly think you can stand against me."

Suddenly, Orochimaru felt a sharp, unexpected pain in his ribs, causing him to stumble back. He turned to see Sakura, her fists clenched and determination in her eyes. Despite her low chakra reserves, she had managed to catch him off guard with a well-placed punch.

Orochimaru's mind raced. *From all the information Kabuto gathered, this Girl was supposed to be weak. It seems I was wrong.*

Miku, standing a few paces away, glanced anxiously at the ground where the battle snake had swallowed Naruto. Her worry was palpable, knowing he was trapped underground. "Naruto... where are you?" she murmured, her eyes darting between the ongoing fight and the earth beneath her feet.

The tension in the air was palpable as all five of them rushed at Orochimaru. Suki leaped into the air, spinning around to deliver a series of kicks. Orochimaru blocked each one with a smirk, but was unprepared for the simultaneous attacks from Ayato and Kiyomi, who slammed into him from both sides.

"A persistent bunch, aren't you?" Orochimaru sneered, his eyes gleaming with dark amusement.

As he tried to regain his footing, Sakura and Miku grabbed his arms, yanking him off balance. With a coordinated effort, they pulled him towards a tree and slammed him against it with a resounding thud.

"Take that!" Sakura shouted, her grip tightening.

Miku added, "You're not going anywhere, Orochimaru."

Orochimaru's face twisted with a mix of irritation and admiration. "Impressive teamwork," he hissed, his golden eyes narrowing. "But it will take more than that to defeat me."

Ayato swiftly climbed onto Orochimaru's back while Kiyomi firmly held onto his stomach. Both of them prepared their unique fire-style jutsus, focusing their chakra with precision.

"Fire Style: Dragon's Inferno!" Ayato shouted, his voice echoing through the forest as he unleashed a powerful stream of fire from his hands.

Simultaneously, Kiyomi called out, "Fire Style: Phoenix Blaze!" A torrent of intense flames burst forth from her, converging with Ayato's attack.

The combined fire jutsus hit Orochimaru's head with a blazing force, engulfing it in flames. Orochimaru let out a guttural scream as the fire seared his flesh, his usually composed expression twisting in agony.

"Aaagh! You insolent brats!" Orochimaru bellowed, his voice filled with pain and fury. The flames roared around him, burning intensely as Ayato and Kiyomi's coordinated attack continued to press on.

As the flames died down, the group stared in shock and disgust as Orochimaru opened his mouth wide, a new body emerging from within, slithering out like a snake shedding its skin. Confusion and revulsion filled the air as they processed the sight.

"Now I should stop playing with you all," Orochimaru said with a sinister smile.

Before anyone could react, Orochimaru appeared in front of Suki and slammed his palm into her stomach, muttering, "Five-Pronged Seal." Suki's eyes widened in pain as the seal took effect, disrupting her chakra flow.

"Suki!" Sakura yelled, rushing at Orochimaru, only to be met with a powerful kick that sent her sprawling to the ground.

Ayato and Kiyomi charged at Orochimaru together. Orochimaru effortlessly caught Ayato's attack and slammed him into Kiyomi, knocking them both down. As they struggled to get up, Orochimaru smirked. "You are definitely stronger than your brother," he said to Kiyomi, his tone dripping with mockery.

Now, only Miku stood in front of him, her eyes wide with fear and determination. Orochimaru's smile widened. "I couldn't do any of my research on the Kurama clan, but I could definitely start with you."

Miku's heart pounded in her chest, but she steeled herself, refusing to show fear. "You won't touch me," she said defiantly, preparing her next move.

Orochimaru laughed softly, the sound sending chills down their spines. "We'll see about that," he replied, his eyes gleaming with malicious intent.

Miku quickly formed a series of hand signs, summoning several chakra balls that floated around her. With a determined look, she directed them to rush at Orochimaru. He nimbly dodged the first wave, but the chakra balls took a sharp U-turn and came back at him.

Orochimaru smirked and covered his hand in chakra, catching one of the balls mid-air.

()

He threw it back at Miku with force, and it exploded in her face, sending her crashing into a nearby tree. She slumped against the trunk, breathing heavily.

Despite her exhaustion, Miku began forming hand signs again, this time summoning light purple chakra balls. Orochimaru chuckled mockingly, "Do you really think those pathetic tricks can harm me, little girl?"

()

As he caught one of the light purple chakra balls, preparing to throw it back at her, it suddenly exploded in his hand. Orochimaru stumbled back, surprised by the unexpected detonation.

Miku, now grinning like a mad woman, called out, "Surprise, snake-face! Think again before underestimating me."

Orochimaru summoned his Kusanagi blade, its cold steel gleaming ominously as he advanced toward Miku. She was too exhausted to move, her energy drained from the earlier attacks. Just as Orochimaru was about to bring the blade down for a fatal slash, Ayato struggled to his feet, determination burning in his eyes.

"Damn it," Ayato cursed under his breath, feeling the pain from the stab wound he'd received when he was thrown into a tree. He could barely stand, his vision swimming with exhaustion and blood loss. "I need to save her... I can't just let this happen!"

But his body betrayed him. As he tried to take a step forward, his legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground. "No... Not now... I can't fail her... I can't fail..."

Just then, a sharp wind blade sliced through the air, severing Orochimaru's hand that held the Kusanagi. Orochimaru recoiled in shock and pain, his severed hand and the sword falling to the ground.

Naruto emerged from the shadows, covered in the snake's mucus, his expression a mix of fury and disgust. "You bitch!" he roared, his voice echoing through the trees. "You threw me in that snake's mouth, you fucker! I swear to you, filthy bitch, I will fucking kill you!"

Orochimaru, clutching his bleeding wrist, turned to face Naruto. Despite the injury, he chuckled, his sinister smile returning. "Well, well, if it isn't the failed son of the Fourth Hokage. You think you can kill me? You're nothing more than a disappointment, an abandoned wretch playing at being a shinobi."

Naruto's eyes burned with anger. "Say whatever you want, but I'm going to end you right here, right now!" He lunged at Orochimaru, the rage fueling his every move.

Orochimaru sidestepped Naruto's initial attack, his mocking smile never fading. "Is that all you have? Your father would be so ashamed of you. But then again, you're nothing like him. You're just a shadow."

Naruto snarled, launching a series of rapid attacks, each one more furious than the last. "Shut up! You don't know anything about me or my father!"

As they clashed, the forest around them seemed to hold its breath, the fate of Miku, Ayato, and the others hanging in the balance. Orochimaru's taunts only fueled Naruto's determination, pushing him to fight harder, faster, with everything he had left.

Orochimaru, his smile dripping with malice, looked Naruto up and down. "Ah, Naruto, you know, when I was still in the village a few weeks ago, I learned quite a bit about your esteemed teacher, the so-called Sword Princess, Ayaka Kibutsu from the Cloud Village. Such a tragic end she met. Pathetic, really."

Naruto's eyes turned a fierce red, slits forming in his pupils. His hair fell loose from its ponytail, and he wrapped a black bandage around his arm with deliberate precision. He summoned his Shirasaya, the blade gleaming in the dim light of the forest. Taking his stance, he held the blade horizontally in front of him, both hands gripping it firmly—his left hand closer to the end of the blade and his right hand further down, as the weapon lacked a traditional hilt.

()

Orochimaru observed Naruto's transformation and stance with a raised eyebrow. "Impressive display, but do you think a mere change in your demeanor can make a difference? Do you believe you can avenge your fallen master, boy?" He sneered, his eyes gleaming with sadistic amusement.

Naruto's voice was low and deadly calm. "You know something, snake? Today, someone dies. And it's you."

Orochimaru's eyes narrowed, and he raised his Kusanagi, taking a stance. "Well, let's see about that," he hissed, his voice dripping with anticipation.

The forest seemed to hold its breath as the two combatants faced each other. Naruto's grip on his blade tightened, his eyes locked onto Orochimaru. He could feel the weight of his master's teachings in every muscle, every fiber of his being.

With a sudden burst of speed, Naruto charged at Orochimaru, his movements fluid and precise. Orochimaru parried with his Kusanagi, the clash of blades ringing through the trees. Sparks flew as steel met steel, both fighters pushing each other to the limits.

"You think you can defeat me, a Sannin?" Orochimaru taunted, his movements snake-like and slippery.

"I don't think. I know," Naruto replied, his strikes becoming more aggressive, his anger fueling each swing of his blade.

Orochimaru dodged a particularly vicious slash and retaliated with a swift strike aimed at Naruto's side. Naruto blocked just in time, their blades locking together. "Your teacher died because she was weak. Just like you will," Orochimaru spat.

Naruto's eyes blazed with fury. "You don't know anything about her or me!" He pushed back with all his strength, breaking the blade lock and launching into a flurry of attacks, each strike aimed to kill.

Orochimaru found himself on the defensive, the intensity of Naruto's assault pushing him back. "Interesting... you have some skill after all. But it won't be enough," he hissed, preparing to strike back.

The battle raged on, the two warriors locked in a deadly dance, each seeking to end the other. The fate of their comrades and the honor of their fallen teacher hung in the balance, every move bringing them closer to the final, decisive moment.

Naruto spun around with a fierce determination, gaining momentum before clashing his blade against Orochimaru's Kusanagi. Orochimaru blocked the heavy blow but felt the force reverberate through his arms. Reacting swiftly, Orochimaru performed a leg swipe with his Kusanagi, attempting to unbalance Naruto.

Twisting his hand, Orochimaru aimed for a vicious down-to-up slash, but Naruto backed away just in time. Orochimaru brought his blade down again with lethal intent. Naruto raised his own sword, catching Orochimaru's blade with his hand, causing it to stab through his palm. Gritting his teeth through the pain, Naruto used his other hand to stab Orochimaru in the stomach with his Shirasaya.

Orochimaru staggered back, a sinister grin still on his face. Naruto seized the moment, rushing forward and leaping onto the hilt of the Kusanagi, which was stabbed into the ground. As Naruto descended, ready to strike with his Shirasaya, Orochimaru punched him square in the face, sending him flying backward.

Orochimaru quickly took Naruto's katana and slashed at his arm, blood spraying from the wound. He picked Naruto up by the neck, his grip tightening as he lifted him off the ground. "You do have some skill, more than any of those genin I've played with," Orochimaru mocked, his voice dripping with contempt. "But for a so-called son of the Fourth Hokage, you are still weak."

Naruto's eyes burned with hatred. "Stop calling me his son!" he shouted, his voice filled with venom.

Orochimaru's grin widened. "Ah, touched a nerve, did I? The failure of a Namikaze, hated by his own family and all the Sannin. How does it feel to be abandoned and despised by those who should have cared for you?"

Naruto struggled against Orochimaru's grip, his anger boiling over. "I'll show you how it feels," he growled, summoning all his strength. With a sudden, powerful twist, he broke free from Orochimaru's hold and launched himself at the snake-like shinobi, ready to continue the fierce battle.

The air was thick with tension, the fate of Naruto and his friends hanging in the balance as they faced one of the most dangerous foes in the shinobi world.

Naruto, still held tightly by Orochimaru, twisted his body with sheer force and delivered a powerful knee to Orochimaru's face. The impact was brutal, knocking Orochimaru back and leaving him momentarily stunned. Orochimaru's face twisted in rage.

"The same trick twice? I won't fall for it again!" he snarled, throwing a furious punch that sent Naruto crashing into a nearby tree, landing close to Miku.

"Miku!" Naruto asked as he struggled to stand. "How big is this forest?"

Miku quickly responded, "It's 25,000 meters in length and 21,000 meters in width."

Naruto nodded, wincing in pain. "Do me a favor. Take Team 11—Kiyomi, Sakura, and Suki—and get Ayato out of here. You have fifteen minutes. I have an attack that will destroy 1,500 meters of this area, so move fast."

Miku's eyes widened with concern, but she knew better than to argue. "Got it," she said, determination in her voice. She turned to gather the others, but not before Naruto pushed her away, signaling her to hurry.

Just as Miku moved to evacuate the team, Orochimaru slammed into Naruto, and the two tumbled across the ground in a violent roll. Orochimaru picked up his Kusanagi from the ground, aiming to stab Naruto. Naruto deflected the attack with his katana, the sound of clashing metal ringing through the forest.

Orochimaru swung his blade Tilted angel, but Naruto pulled his katana down, deflecting the strike again. Seizing the moment, Naruto thrust his katana forward, aiming for a lethal blow. Orochimaru raised his arm to block, but Naruto quickly shifted his stance, pulling his katana down and slicing deeply into Orochimaru's thigh.

Orochimaru hissed in pain and rage, his eyes flashing with fury. "You're full of surprises, aren't you, Naruto?" he spat, blood dripping from his wound.

Naruto, breathing heavily but with resolve in his eyes, glared back. "I told you, today someone dies. And it's going to be you."

As Orochimaru readied himself for another attack, Miku could be seen in the distance, urgently rallying Team 11 and Ayato to safety. Time was running out, and the forest was about to witness a devastating assault that could change the tide of this brutal encounter.

As Orochimaru summoned ten of his massive battle snakes, Naruto tightened the bandage on his arm and gripped his sword tightly. One of the snakes lunged at him, but suddenly, it was cut into circular pieces by a swift and precise movement. Naruto leaped onto a piece of the snake and began jumping from one to another, closing the distance between him and Orochimaru with determination in his eyes.

But Orochimaru wasn't done yet. Eight of the snakes charged up chakra beams in their mouths, a sign that Orochimaru was tapping into his Sage Mode. With a deafening roar, they unleashed the chakra beams at Naruto, who was hit head-on. The force of the impact sent him hurtling through several trees, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. His chest was bleeding profusely, and his shoulder and hip joints felt like they were on fire.

Despite the pain and the odds stacked against him, Naruto forced himself to stand up again, his eyes burning with Rage. Orochimaru looked on with a mixture of amusement and contempt. "You're quite resilient, Naruto," he sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "But resilience alone won't save you from me."

Naruto ignored Orochimaru's taunts, his focus solely on the battle ahead. With blood dripping from his mouth, he took his stance once more, ready to face whatever Orochimaru threw at him next.

As Naruto sprinted towards Orochimaru, the snake-like shinobi noticed that Naruto's speed seemed slower than before. Sensing an opportunity, all nine snakes attacked him simultaneously, aiming to overwhelm him with their combined strength. However, one of the snakes suddenly slammed into the ground, sliced horizontally from mouth to stomach, killed by a sharp Blade of wind.

Naruto, using his agility and reflexes, dodged the incoming chakra beams as he moved from tree to tree, his determination unwavering. But his path was obstructed by a snake tail in front of him, and with a swift strike, he was smashed into a boulder. Emerging from the rubble once more, Naruto continued his relentless charge towards Orochimaru.

Orochimaru, impressed by Naruto's durability and pain tolerance, couldn't help but make a snide comment. "You may be resilient, Naruto, but even the strongest will break eventually. How long can you keep this up?"

Unfazed by Orochimaru's words, Naruto pressed on, his resolve unshakable. "We are shinobi, mere shadows of humanity, but mark my words, snake," Naruto declared with unwavering determination, "I will become someone the world will fear to forget. I will attain such power that none will dare to challenge me, even if it costs me everything I hold dear."

As the six remaining battle snakes prepared to unleash their chakra beams once more, the seventh snake rushed at Naruto. With a surge of red chakra emanating from his hand, Naruto channeled a massive amount of energy and delivered a powerful punch to the snake's head, causing a burst of power that disabled all the chakra beams the other snakes were charging. It was a move that stunned both Orochimaru and his serpentine companions, leaving them momentarily speechless in the face of Naruto's raw power.

As Naruto continued his sprint towards Orochimaru, the six battle snakes rushed at him with deadly intent. Three snake heads lunged forward to bite him, but Naruto swiftly cut them into pieces with his Wind Blade Jutsu. "Is that all you've got?!" Naruto shouted defiantly as he deflected their attacks.

One of the snake heads managed to swallow Naruto momentarily, but he swiftly sliced his way out from inside its mouth. Infusing his katana with light chakra, Naruto unleashed a wave of energy that caused many small snakes emerging from the ground to retreat. With precise cuts and agile movements, Naruto landed on the head of a large battle snake.

More snakes approached, but Naruto's katana sliced through each one, leaving a trail of severed bodies. As the last battle snake lunged at him, Naruto spun like a wheel, leaving a deep cut mark along its body.

Closing the distance between himself and Orochimaru rapidly, Naruto's determination was palpable.

Orochimaru observed Naruto's prowess with a mixture of intrigue and caution. "Impressive, Naruto. You are clearly one of the strongest genin in this exam. You're definitely worth watching," Orochimaru remarked, acknowledging Naruto's growing strength.

As Naruto neared Orochimaru, the snake-like shinobi smirked and spat poison towards him. Naruto managed to dodge most of it, but some poison grazed his eye. Gritting his teeth against the burning sensation, Naruto clenched his fists and declared, "You'll regret underestimating me, Orochimaru. This ends now!"

As Naruto was thrown away by the force of Orochimaru's attack, he crashed into the ground, but quickly got back on his feet. Both he and Orochimaru turned their heads towards a distant explosion, indicating that Naruto's teammates had moved out of the 1500-meter danger zone. Realizing his opportunity, Naruto quickly performed a series of hand signs, summoning 20 shadow clones to attack Orochimaru.

While his clones engaged the enemy, Naruto stepped back and brought his palm parallel to the ground, closing his eyes. He began to concentrate an immense amount of chakra, causing his skin to turn red and pulsate with energy, mimicking the power of a Jinchuriki. Orochimaru, observing this transformation, recognized the anomaly.

"Interesting," Orochimaru mused, a sinister smile playing on his lips. "You're not the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails—that would be Natsu, Mito, and Suki. No, you're something different... a born pseudo-Jinchuriki. Fascinating. You're quite the enigma, Naruto."

Naruto ignored Orochimaru's remarks, focusing entirely on his chakra buildup. His clones continued to press Orochimaru, forcing him to engage them with his Kusanagi blade. Orochimaru dispatched the clones with a series of swift and lethal strikes, but the true threat was still gathering power.

As Naruto's skin glowed with an intense, almost painful red hue, he centered all his energy, preparing for a devastating attack. Orochimaru, despite his confidence, could sense the immense power Naruto was amassing.

"You think this will be enough to stop me, boy?" Orochimaru taunted, deflecting another clone's attack. "Let's see if your pseudo-Jinchuriki power is worth the trouble."

Naruto, standing with unwavering determination, began to chant as he gathered the immense power for his attack. His voice resonated with the primal force he was invoking:

"By the wrath of Mother Earth, let flames consume,

Her fury unleashed, in this dire doom.

From her core, fire's rage will swell,

To burn all foes and send them to hell."

As he chanted, fire began to gather in Naruto's hands, growing in intensity and ferocity. The power was so immense that it started to burn his hands, causing visible pain but not deterring him. Orochimaru, sensing the imminent danger, tried to retreat. However, before he could escape, a chain shot out from Naruto's sleeve, piercing through Orochimaru and holding him in place.

"Get over here!" Naruto roared, pulling Orochimaru back toward him. The impact of their connection triggered a massive explosion, visible from all corners of the village. The shockwave was so powerful that it felt like the force of a Tailed Beast Bomb.

()

In the Hokage's office, Minato, Jiraiya, and all the Jounin were stunned as they witnessed the enormous explosion. The scale and intensity of the attack left them in awe and confusion.

"What in the world...?" Minato muttered, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"That power..." Jiraiya said, equally astonished. "It's like a Tailed Beast Bomb, but who could possibly..."

As the smoke began to clear, the entire village buzzed with the impact of the blast. The true identity of the source remained a mystery to those observing from afar, but they all knew one thing: this was no ordinary shinobi they were dealing with.

As the explosion rocked the forest, genin from various villages turned their heads towards the source, their eyes wide with shock and curiosity.

Yugito Nii, a kunoichi from Kumogakure, narrowed her eyes as she felt Matatabi, the Two-Tails, stir within her. The bijuu's voice echoed in her mind, filled with surprise and a hint of concern.

"It's like a Tailed Beast Bomb, Yugito. You should check it out."

Yugito nodded slightly, her gaze fixed on the distant smoke rising from the explosion. "Matatabi thinks it's something serious. We should stay alert."

Kiba Inuzuka, with his loyal companion Akamaru on his shoulder, stared at the explosion in awe. "What the hell was that? Did you see that, Hinata?"

Hinata Hyuga, using her Byakugan to try and see through the smoke, gasped. "I-I can't tell who did it, but it's enormous. We should be careful."

Shino Aburame adjusted his glasses, his voice calm but serious. "Such power... it's beyond what a normal genin should be capable of. We need to stay vigilant."

Kurotsuchi, the granddaughter of the Tsuchikage, shielded her eyes from the bright light of the explosion. "Damn, that was intense! What do you think caused it?"

Akatsuchi, her teammate, scratched his head in confusion. "Could it be some kind of forbidden jutsu? We should avoid getting too close."

Gaara, the jinchuriki of the One-Tail, watched the explosion with an impassive expression, though his teammates could sense his intrigue.

Temari, his sister, frowned. "That explosion... it's not something just anyone could do. It might be another jinchuriki."

Kankuro, her brother, nodded. "Yeah, or at least someone with immense power. We should be cautious moving forward."

Gaara's sand shifted slightly, a sign of his interest. "If it's someone strong, they might be worth fighting. Let's keep moving."

In the heart of Konoha, the villagers went about their daily routines, unaware of the fierce battle raging in the Forest of Death. Suddenly, a massive explosion rocked the village, sending a shockwave that rattled windows and caused the ground to tremble. The civilians stopped in their tracks, their eyes widening in terror as they looked towards the source of the blast.

"Did you see that?!" a shopkeeper shouted, dropping the basket of goods he was carrying.

"What could cause such a massive explosion?" a woman exclaimed, clutching her child tightly.

"I've never seen anything like it," an elderly man muttered, his voice shaking. "It's like the whole forest just blew up."

Children cried, and parents hurried to gather their families, fearing another explosion might follow. The streets were filled with murmurs and frantic whispers.

"Is it an attack? Are we under siege?" a young man asked, his face pale with fear.

"No, it can't be. We would have heard the alarms," another villager replied, trying to reassure himself as much as his neighbors.

At the academy, Iruka Umino stepped outside, his eyes scanning the horizon. "Everyone, stay inside!" he commanded, ushering the students back into the building. "We need to remain calm and wait for instructions."

The villagers' fear was palpable, spreading like wildfire. They had heard of powerful jutsus and legendary battles, but witnessing such a colossal explosion so close to their home was a chilling experience.

"Where are the shinobi? They should be protecting us!" a woman cried out, her voice echoing the collective anxiety of the crowd.

In the distance, the ominous plume of smoke and debris from the Forest of Death served as a stark reminder of the dangers that lay just beyond the village walls. The civilians could only hope that their protectors, the ninja of Konoha, were handling whatever threat had caused such a devastating blast.

"Whatever it was," an old man said, his voice filled with a mix of fear and respect, "it must have been something or someone incredibly powerful."

As the fiery explosion subsided, Naruto's right arm hung limp and burnt, the sleeve of his jacket charred and smoking. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he scanned the aftermath. Orochimaru had managed to slither away in the chaos, leaving Naruto frustrated but too drained to pursue.

"Damn it," Naruto muttered, clenching his fists. He tried to summon his wind blade jutsu to strike at the retreating snake, but his chakra reserves were depleted, leaving him powerless.

"Sneaky bastard," he growled under his breath, watching the snake vanish into the foliage.

Suddenly, Naruto sensed multiple chakra signatures approaching rapidly. Shinobi from all directions were converging on his location, likely drawn by the enormous explosion. Despite his exhaustion and injuries, Naruto knew he had to prepare for what was coming.

"Looks like I've got company," Naruto muttered, eyes narrowing with determination. With a deep breath, he steadied himself, readying for the inevitable confrontation with the approaching shinobi.

As Naruto staggered towards his team, his injuries were a testament to the brutal battle he'd just endured: his right arm completely burnt, heavy bleeding from his chest wounds where wood splinters were lodged, broken ribs and fingers, multiple snake bites oozing venom, poison stinging his left eye, bleeding from his mouth, and a splitting headache. Parts of his clothes still smoldered from the fire that had consumed him moments ago.

Miku, visibly exhausted, noticed Naruto first. "Naruto, what happened to you? You're covered in wounds!"

Ayato, wincing as he was being healed by Sakura, glanced up. "Damn, Naruto, you look like you've been through hell."

Kiyomi, concern etched on her face, approached slowly. "Are you okay, Naruto? You look terrible."

Sakura, now fully focused on Naruto's injuries, spoke up urgently. "Naruto, you need immediate medical attention. These wounds are serious. You could die if I don't treat you now."

Naruto waved off their concern, his voice strained but determined. "No time to waste. Orochimaru is still out there. We have to move. Team 11, listen to me. We can't afford to stay here."

Sakura's tone turned firm. "Naruto, you can't just ignore these injuries. Let me help you. We'll move as soon as I can stabilize you."

Naruto hesitated for a moment, then nodded reluctantly. "Fine, Sakura. You have five minutes. After that, we're moving out."

Sakura nodded and immediately set to work, her hands moving swiftly over Naruto's battered body. The other genin watched anxiously, knowing the urgency of the situation.

As Sakura carefully extracted the wooden splinters from Naruto's chest, his keen eyes caught sight of a snake slithering down from a nearby tree. Reacting swiftly, Naruto moved to warn Kiyomi, but the snake struck before he could intervene, biting her on the neck. In the same instant, it lunged at Naruto, sinking its fangs into his bicep. Pain shot through his arm, but Naruto gritted his teeth and tore away the flesh where the seal was beginning to form, preventing it from spreading further.

Before anyone could react, the snake suddenly exploded, sending a shockwave that threw everyone back. Kiyomi lay unconscious, and Naruto wasted no time in urging the others to action. "See what I was talking about? Let's move. Ayato, pick up Kiyomi. Miku, hold on to me." Despite his injuries and clothes still on fire, Naruto hoisted Miku onto his back. "Hold tight. Let's go," he said firmly, his voice strained but resolute.

()

Ayato quickly lifted Kiyomi onto his shoulders, while Miku, her leg injured, clung tightly to Naruto as they hurried away from the danger, their escape hastened by Naruto's unwavering determination to protect his team.

As Team 11 and Team 12 reached the central tower, Naruto nodded to the members of Team 11. "Well, here we part ways. See you in the next part of the exam, ladies."

"Thank you, Naruto," Sakura said gratefully, while Suki nodded in agreement. Ayato hesitated for a moment before speaking up. "My apologies if Naruto doesn't show much enthusiasm. He's always like this when the work is done."

Entering the room, Miku teased Naruto gently. "Well, Naruto, you seem to have opened up a bit. A few months ago, you barely talked to us, and now you were ready to give your life for us."

Naruto glanced at his teammates, a rare smile tugging at his lips. "Let's finish the second part of the test, shall we?" His voice carried determination and a newfound sense of camaraderie, reflecting the bond that had formed between them during their intense ordeal in the forest. With renewed resolve, Team 11 and Team 12 prepared to face whatever challenges awaited them in the next phase of the exam.
