Last time Rito have a nightmare about the girls in his life. Both Nemesis and Momo talked to him about accepting the Harem Plan. While at school he thinks about the Harem Plan. And he decided to accept it. Momo sneaks into Rito's room and sleeps with him as usual. She decides to help Rito with training.

Can Rito really go through the Harem Plan?

Chapter 2: Lala and Haruna

Yukki Household...

Inside the Yuuki Household Rito, Lala, Nana, Momo, and Celine are watching TV. Mikan has left for school, since their school was canceled. So, they could do anything they wanted.

The four teens were watching Lala's favorite show: Magical Girl Kyoko starting with their friend Kyouko Kirisaki. Kyoko was battering monsters.

''Yah, you get them Kyouko!'' exclaimed Lala.

Rito on the other hand was thinking what to do today. Then he remembered to do for Mikan. Since it was the afternoon, he got a lot of time before she comes home from school. So, he decided to get it done.

Rito got up from the floor.

''Hey, you guys I'll be right back.'' he said to the girls.

''Where are you going, Rito?'' asked Lala.

''I'm going to the store. I promise Mikan that would I go shopping for her.'' answered Rito.

''I can come?'' asked Lala.

''I can come too?'' asked Momo.

''And me too?'' asked Nana. ''I promise Mea that we would go shopping together.''

'Okay, you guys can come.'' responded Rito.

''Alright, then let's go after this episode.'' Lala pointed out to the TV.

Momo was in deep thought.

''I'm going with Rito. Because some of the girls list on the harem plan would be there.'' she thought. ''I'll be there to helped him.''

Super Vegetable...

Rito, Lala carry Celine, Momo, Nana and Mea arrived at Super Vegetable. Rito and Mea each grabbed a basket and start doing shopping. Rito was looking through the grocery list that Mikan given him. He picked up some eggs, bread, milk, some vegetables, some snacks.

While they were shopping. Momo and Mea were having a conversation with each other.

''So, has Rito made a move, yet?'' asked Mea, whispering.

''Not yet.'' answered Momo.

''So, we should do?'' questioned Mea.

''First, he has to get big sis and Haruna get on the board.'' responded Momo. ''And then finally the harem plan will go into action.''

''That's excellent.'' agreed Mea with a grin.

''Wait a minute, Rito? Lala? Momo? Nana? Mea?'' asked a familiar voice.

The group turned around to see Haruna with a basket.

''Oh, hey Haruna.'' greeted Rito.

''Hey, Haruna. You're shopping too?'' inquired Lala.

''Yeah.'' answered Haruna.

''So, you are exciting to go to Run's contest tomorrow?'' asked Rito.

''Yep.'' nodded Haruna. ''Hey, Rito?''

''Yeah?'' he replied.

''It's okay for me to stay at your house for a while?'' she asked.

''Why?'' asked Rito.

''You see my sister Akiho is going out of town for a few days. She doesn't want me to stay by myself so I told her that could I asked you to stay over at your place.'' she explained.

''Oh, I see.'' responded Lala.

''So, it's okay for me to stay?'' Haruna asked Rito.

Rito couldn't helped but smile and answered. ''Of course you can stay.''

Haruna smiled. ''That's great. I'll come over tonight.''

''Yay! My best friend is going to stay with us!'' exclaimed Lala. ''Beside I'd love for you to come over.''

Meanwhile Momo and Mea were whispering to each other.

''So, Haruna's overstay here?'' asked Mea.

''Yep, once Rito tells her. Then the harem plan will finally start.'' smirked Momo.

''That's excellent.'' agreed Mea.

However, Nana was ear dropping on them.

''What are those two up to?'' she thought.

That evening...

Rito, Lala, Nana and Momo have returned earlier from the store. They have pulled the groceries away. Right now, the four teenagers are getting the house prepared for Haruna. Lala and Momo are the kitchen making dinner, they decided to save Mikan some time ahead.

The front door opened and coming inside was Mikan herself.

''Hey, guys. I'm home.'' Mikan removed her shoes.

''Hey, Mikan.'' greeted Lala from the kitchen.

Mikan walked into the kitchen to see Lala and Momo cooking dinner.

''Why are you two cooking dinner?'' Mikan asked the two sisters.

''Haruna's sister is going of town for a few days. So, she's going be stay over here with us for a few days.'' answered Momo.

''Oh, okay I see.'' pointed out Mikan. ''She can stay here as long she wants.''

''Okay, everyone dinner's ready.'' announced Lala as she and Momo went out bowls of noodles and placed on the table.

Everyone in the house, walked over and sit down at the table. Before they could begin eating, suddenly the doorbell rang.

''I'll get it.'' said Rito.

Rito opened the door and stand outside was Haruna with bags.

''Haruna.'' he smiled.

''Hey, Rito.'' greeted Haruna as she walks into the house.

Everyone else looked at her.

''Hey, Haruna. Glad you could make it.'' responded Lala.

''Me too.'' she agreed.

''Hi, Haruna.'' greeted Mikan. ''We are having noodles for dinner. Come and joined us.''

Haruna walked over and sit at the table.

Everyone just eating their noodles.

''Man, this is delicious.'' muttered Rito.

''I know.'' agreed Haruna.

''I can't believe, you did a great Lala and Momo.'' commented Nana.

''Yeah.'' agreed Mikan.

''Thanks.'' smiled Lala.

''I'm glad you guys liked them.'' replied Momo.

Everyone continued eating.

Rito looked over at Lala and Haruna. He was thinking about the Harem Plan he decided that tomorrow he should them told.

''Run's contest is tomorrow. I think it would be best that I'm going to accept the Harem Plan.'' he thought.

The next day...

On a bright sunny day, Rito, Lala, and Haruna walk together down the sidewalk.

''Woo, I'm so excited!'' proclaimed Lala. ''This concert's gonna be so much fun.

''I know.'' agreed Haruna, holding her ticket. ''Especially with these VIP passes Run was so kind to give us.''

''We should probably think of some way to repay her.'' pointed out Rito.

''You're right. Hmm, maybe we could make her a cake.'' suggested Haruna.

''Great idea, Haruna.'' said Lala. ''I remember how much Run loved sweets when we were little. Can I help you bake?''

''Of course.'' replied Haruna.

''I'm uh.'' said Rito sheepish. ''I'm afraid I'm not the baker like Mikan or you two are. I'll just get Run something else, hehe.''

''That's fine, Rito. I'm sure she'll love whatever you get her.'' stated Lala.

''She sure will.'' remarked Haruna. ''Hey, speaking of Mikan, didn't Run give her a VIP pass too?''

''Come of think of it, she did.'' answered Lala. ''And she gave some to Momo and Nana too. I think Yami and Mea ne as well.''

''I can't wait to go tonight.'' smiled Haruna. ''Speaking of the concert I just thought that since we're all going to the concert later, we'd all be going together as a group. But I didn't see Mikan or the others when we left your house.''

''That's because they all went on ahead without us before we left the house.'' responded Lala.

''They did? Wonder why?'' asked Haruna.

''You got. I've got no clue, why they left without us.'' said Lala.

''Well, actually... it's because I asked them to.'' confessed Rito.

''What?'' asked Lala.

''Rito.'' muttered Haruna.

''Naturally, Mikan and Nana were skeptical.'' explained Rito. ''But thanks to Momo, I convinced them to leave early and meet us there tonight.''

Flashback...

In Rito's bedroom, Rito and Momo speak privately.

''You want us to leave without you?'' asked Momo.

''Yeah-huh.'' answered Rito.

''But why?'' she questioned.

''Well, I, uh.'' he replied blushing. ''I just need a chance to speak to Lala and Haruna alone. It's important.''

Then she leans in close, examine his face, which only reddens his cheeks.

''Uh, Momo?'' asked Rito.

Momo gasps and her eyes sparkle with delight. ''Wait, Rito! Don't tell me...''

A moment of silence.

Rito sighed before smiling. ''Is it that obvious?''

''Yay!'' cheered Momo, embracing Rito tightly. ''Don't you worry! I'll take care of Mikan and Nana. You just do what you gotta do.''

Rito pats her back. ''Thanks.''

Rito, Lala and Haruna continue walking down the sidewalk.

''But Rito, how come?'' asked Haruna.

''Yeah. Didn't you want all of us to go together as a group?'' inquired Lala.

''O-Of course, I did.'' panicked Rito. ''Don't get the wrong idea. I just wanted a moment to be along with you two, that's all.''

''Along with Lala and I?'' asked Haruna.

''Why's that?'' asked Lala.

Rito stops walking. Lala and Haruna stop as well, confused.

''We're here.'' said Rito.

Lala and Haruna look around; they're stopped at an intersection in an alley. And not just any intersection, but the very one where Rito first tried to confess to Haruna only for Lala to literally drop in on them and foul it up.

''Wow! This place takes me back.'' remarked Lala.

''It certainly does.'' agreed Haruna. ''But Rito, what's this about?''

''Yeah, Rito.'' agreed Lala. ''This is all nice and nostalgic, but shouldn't we bake Run a cake and you buy some sweets for her?''

''Please, girls.'' said Rito. ''This'll only take a moment.''

Lala and Haruna trade look and decided to hear him out.

Rito takes a deep breath. ''Haruna... this is where you and I first met Lala. It's also where... well... its's also the first place where I tried to tell you... that I love you.''

Haruna gasps and blushes; the memory of that days fills her with great joy.

''This where is all started for us.'' continued Rito. ''So, I figured it'd be the best place to talk about the future.''

''The future?'' asked Haruna.

''Wait. Is this what you wanted to discuss on the roof the other day?'' asked Lala.

''Yeah.'' replied Rito. ''But I realized I wanted to tell you both. So now I will.''

He takes another deep breath and clenches his fists. His face turns beet red.

A moment of silence.

''Lala, Haruna.'' he began. ''I want... I want... I want to become king of Deviluke! And I want you to marry me! Both of you!''

Lala and Haruna gasped, and their faces flush.

''I-I-I don't mean right now.'' continued Rito, frantically waving his arms. ''Ahem. We're still young, and there's still a lot I want to do before making that kind of commitment. But someday in the future, when I take over for King Gid, I want you both to become my brides. Because the truth is... I don't want to choose between you two. I love you both too much for that. So, I gave it a lot of thought, and I figured by marrying Lala, it'd be within my rights to marry Haruna as well.''

''Rito...'' muttered Lala.

''Lala, please understand, I'm not trying to use you just so I can get with Haruna.'' retorted Rito. ''I really do love you, and I want us to get together. For the rest of our lives.

Lala clasps her hand over her mouth, holding back with tears of joy.

''And Haruna, I'm sorry.'' he continued.

''Huh?'' asked Haruna.

''All I wanted was for you and I to have a normal life together.'' replied Rito. ''But ever since we met Lala, our lives have been anything but normal. And yet, despite all the mishaps and dangers we've encountered, it's actually been a lot of fun, more than I ever dreamed. And I want us to keep having fun. All of us. I know it sounds strange and wrong to share a husband, but I really hope you'll accept my proposal. I can't promise you a normal life, but I can promise you that no matter what, I will always love you the most.''

Tears stream down Haruna's face. ''Oh, Rito.''

Before Rito realized it, he's made both girls cry, though he's too much of a doofus to understand why. Without warming, both girls tackle him to the ground, hugging and crying.

''Uh, girls?'' asked Rito.

''I'm so happy! Of course, I'll marry you, Rito.'' said Lala.

''Same here, Rito, I'd be honored to be your bridge.'' added Haruna.

''Really? You mean It?'' Both of you?'' questioned Rito in joyous disbelief.

They don't need to answer. It's clear as the sunny day how they feel. Rito pets Lala's head with one hand, and Haruna's with the other.

''Thank you. Both of you.'' he told them.

They all stand up and bust themselves off.

The sun begins to set, casting a majestic orange glow over the intersection.

''So, what do we do now?'' asked Lala.

''Well, I was thinking we could just leave things as they are, and let our feelings grow.'' replied Rito. ''And if it's alright with you two, I'd like to take turns going out on dates with you both.''

''Sure.'' responded Lala.

''Yes, I'm okay with that.'' agreed Haruna.

''Great.'' smiled Rito. ''Also, I'm gonna start training to become king of Deviluke. It's the only way this polygamy will ever be accepted. It may take a few years of before I'm ready to wear the crown, but I swear, my feelings for you two won't change during that time. And if you still feel the same way about me by then, I'll marry both of you. Though I'll have to marry Lala first, and then Haruna. Again, if that's alright.''

''I could wait for a thousand years, and my feelings would never change either. I'll always love you, Rito.'' said Lala.

''Me too.'' replied Haruna. ''I'll wait as long as I have to. And I'll always love you too, Rito, more than anyone else.''

Rito's so happy, he could die. ''Lala... Haruna...''

But then his smile drops into a frown.

''Rito?'' asked Rito.

''What is it?'' asked Haruna.

''There's just one problem.'' stated Rito in disbelief.

A gentle breeze blows by as they all stand in silence.

''And the truth is... I think I'm starting to feel the same way about them.'' began Rito. ''So, I uh, I want to speak to them about this as well.''

Manning up, he turns around and faces the two girls.

''If they still love me by the time I become king like you two do, and if I myself have developed feelings for them by then... well then, I...I wanna make them my brides too.'' he continued. ''I'm gonna fulfil the harem plan.''

A moment of silence.

''I'm sorry.'' apologized Rito, bowing to his two lovers. ''I was vehemently against the idea of a harem, because I thought it was obscene and misogynistic. And besides, I doubted that I'd ever be able to care for someone else's life, left alone a dozen of them. But I realized... I don't want to dismiss their feelings like they mean nothing. I'd never forgive myself for that. So, I at least want to give them a chance to express those feelings. They deserve that much. I'm sorry, but I believe this is the best thing to do. And I understand if you're angry and never wanted to see me again.'' he finished.

Another moment of silence.

He keeps his head down, shaking a leaf, terrified of how they'll respond.

''Rito, look at us.'' Lala told him.

He does at he's told. To his surprise, both Lala and Haruna are smiling.

''Weren't you listening?'' asked Lala. ''So, if there any other girls who love you, even if they're my sisters, I'd be okay with sharing you. Because all I want is for you all of us to be happy. And I know you have it in you to make that happen.''

''Lala...'' mumbled Rito.

''Rito.'' spoke up Haruna. ''To be honest, I wanted a normal life with you too. I wanted to have you all to myself. But if doing so means hurting Lala or anyone else, I could never forgive myself either. Besides... I knew there were other girls who love you too.''

''You did?'' asked Rito.

''Of course.'' replied Haruna. ''For instance, there's Run. It's obvious she's head-over heels for you. And when I think about it... our roles could've been reversed. She could've been the one you loved most while all I could do was love you from afar. I can't imagine how sad that must make her. So, if she truly cares for you as much as Lala and I do, then I'm willing to share you with her and anyone else who feels the same.''

''You mean...?'' wondered Rito.

''Yes.'' answered Haruna. ''I'll support the harem plan.''

''Haruna...'' muttered Rito.

''Just as long as I remain your best girl, Ill support whatever path you take.'' Haruna told him.

''That goes for me too.'' spoke up Lala. ''You can marry as many girls as you want, Rito. Just be sure to make enough time for all of us individually, okay.''

Rito beams with joy, feeling a like a great Atlas-sized weight has lifted off his shoulders.

''Lala, Haruna, thank you.'' he said with another bow. ''I promise I'll do everything I can to make you both happy. I won't make either of you regret choosing me.''

''Oh, Rito.'' breathed Haruna.

''Yay!'' cheered Lala. ''Alright. Now that's settled, why don't we seal this promise with a kiss?''

Moment of silence.

''A k-k-k-k-k-kiss?'' demanded Rito and Haruna at the same time, both blushing wildly.

Lala stares at Rito with sad, puppy dog eyes. ''You won't want to?''

''No, no, I.'' said Rito.

Then he turns to Haruna, and surprisingly, her rosy face is telling him she wants a kiss too. Steam erupts from Rito's head. He gulps and musters his courage.

''Okay.'' he responded.

Lala and Haruna smile brightly with speaking eyes.

''Okay. You first, Haruma.'' replied Lala.

''Me?'' asked Haruna.

Lala gently pushes her closer to Rito and stands off to the side. ''Of course, I don't mind. Go on, Rito. Kiss her.''

''R-Right.'' stated Rito.

Her heart throbs uncontrollably as he approaches, standing inches away from her.

For a moment, neither of them moves nor speak. They just gaze into each other's eyes, hearts racing, faces reddening. He gently wraps his arms around her waist, and she slowly wraps her arms around his neck.

''Haruna.'' said Rito.

''Rito.'' responded Haruna.

A moment of silence.

She closes her eyes, and tilts her chin up, waiting for him. He closes his eyes, and gently presses his lips against hers.

For a split second, the entire world around them just stops. While this isn't the first time they've kissed. It sure feels like it.

After several eternal seconds, Rito and Haruna break away. She smiles and rests her head against his chest.

''I love you, Rito Yuki.'' Haruna told Rito.

''I love you too, Haruna Sairenji.'' Rito told her, stroking her hair.

A moment of silence.

The two of them exchange smiles. Then Haruna holds out her hand to Lala.

The pink-haired beauty takes her best friend's hand. Harun guides her closer to Rito and gives them some space.

Lala and Rito just smile at one another. Then she touches his face with both hands.

''I've waited so long for this.'' retorted Lala.

''Sorry about that.'' Rito told her, pulling her into a warn embrace.

Their faces inch closer until their lips overlap.

The sunset basks them in a heavenly glow.

Overwhelmed with happiness a single tear cascades down Lala's face as she shares her long-awaited, first kiss with the man she loves.

Space...

Meanwhile in outer space, the spaceship flies past the moon, heading for Earth.

Inside the cockpit, Stain stares at the blue planet through the cabin window. Then he taps a few buttons on the control panel.

''Find him, Sven.'' he said, clicking one last button.

Outside, the exterior hull door sides open, and a dropship launch of the ship.

Within seconds, the dropship flies down to Earth.

Sainan Town...

Rito strolls down the sidewalk with Lala clung to one arm, and Haruna clung to the other. Although he's happy, he feels a bit embarrassed.

''I sure hope we make it in time.'' noted Haruna.

''I could always run really fast and carry you both.'' suggested Lala.

''No, no! Please don't!'' pleaded Rito.

''Oh, okay.'' retorted Lala. ''By the way, Rito, wouldn't this be the perfect chance to talk to Run?''

''About the harem plan, silly.'' replied Lala. ''Why don't you tell her once we get to the concert?''

''Huh?'' asked Rito, confessed.

''That's a wonderful idea.'' agreed Haruna. ''You should tell her, Rito.''

''Well, uh.'' began Rito. ''I mean, yeah, I was gonna tell her about it eventually but...''

Lala and Haruna smiled at him for a moment.

''Oh, who am I kidding?''' he sighed. ''Alright, alright, I'll talk to her after the show.''

''Yay!'' cheered Lala.

''Good for you.'' said Haruna.

''Uh, yeah. Uh, alright, let's go to the bakery and since you two don't have time to bake you can buy her cake instead and I can buy her something sweet.''

''Okay, that's a good idea.'' agreed Lala.

''The show's going to be great.'' beamed Haruna.

As the three of them walk off into the sunset, Rito thinks to himself.

''Man, this harem stuff isn't easy.'' he thought.

Of course, Lala would be happy with the harem plan since she wants everyone to be happy period.

Rito finally realized that the harem plan is best way to make the girls who loved him happy.
