(Hey you guys, sorry for the long delay of posting this "Movie" of Poké Wars, I had stuff to deal with and found difficulty in RL stuff. But here's the long awaited first "Movie" of the Poké Wars series while Ash is on his journey in Kalos, making a slight detour off Route 15 considering where it looks like the events of the movie happen.

Notice: I would like to thank a good friend of mine, Blaze Productions, creator of his Poké Rangers story series, for his help with this movie, (No this is not the movie that he mentioned in Poké Rangers: Relic Hunters, that will happen much later in the Poké Wars timeline. But, I will reveal that this will lead up to it.)

[Ch1: Oasis surprise]

While Ash and his friends were on their journey after the relay race, they made an R&R stop at a Pokémon center in the middle of a desert in the Kalos Region. While it's true the Kalos Badlands are a certifiable wasteland, this was a genuine desert where many different Ground-Types and other native Pokémon to the desert habitat live, such as the Pokémon Hippopatas and their evolved forms Hippowdon.

Ash, Pikachu, and Bonnie were having a good time at the pool nearby while Clemont used the time to tune up his Aipalm Arm gadget, where Clemont's Chespin and Serena's Pancham were playfighting with two of Clemont's wrenches. Serena was in the kitchen making them a snack. Donuts and Donut-shaped Poképuffs.

Seeing that lunch was severed Ash swam himself, Pikachu, and Bonnie over to eat. After getting out to dry, the swimmers joined their friends to eat the donuts. And they look very tasty.

Serena then asked, "Now how would you like to try some authentic donuts?"

Ash grinned, "Yeah! Sure would!"

"Now take a look at this," Serena then brought out her case and showed him an image of a city, "Dahara City is close by to here, and their specialty treats are Donuts! Don't they look delicious?"

The others agreed. Serena then slid the screen to show them a tower, "And check this out. It's a famous tourist spot dedicated to a Mythical Pokémon."

"A Mythical Pokémon?" Ash asked, before feeling psyched, "Cool!"

"It sounds fascinating." Clemont commented as he heard that.

Ash beamed, telling his friends, "Can't wait to see it."

"To get to Dahara City, we'd have to cross the desert." Clemont explained, as he had heard of the city before too.

"Let's go to the river and take a boat." Serena suggested to her friends.

"A boat? What kind of boat?!" Bonnie asked excitedly.

Before they could answer, they heard a shout and saw fire, literal fire, shooting out of Chespin's mouth, causing the kids to jump back in surprise, while Bonnie asked, "Hey! When did Chespin learn Flamethrower!?"

The Kalos Starter Pokémon began running around frantically while his trainer exclaimed shocked, "Chespin's not able to do that!"

"Then what?" Ash asked, before Chespin jumped into Ash's face and was screaming in pain. Clemont hurried and got a pan full of water, shouting, "Quick! You need water!"

Chespin hurried and drank from the water dish in order to stop the burning sensation in his throat.

Serena noticed something on the ground; she went and picked it up to find a hot-red berry, "I think Chespin bit into this Tamato Berry."

"Those are super-hot!" Bonnie exclaimed, while Clemont admitted, "No wonder Chespin acted like he did."

Ash looked at the group before him and asked, "Is someone playing tricks on us?"

He then saw Pikachu moving on his shoulder and then saw a hand in a portal that looked nothing like the Maximals' teleport gate, taking a donut. Pikachu jumped after the hand and Ash jumped after Pikachu shouting, "Stop!"

Even though the two tried to get the donut and the hand that was taking it through, the two of them got pulled in instead despite it looking like it was a small hand. Ash's friends were left stunned and concerned by what happened.

(Yeah that's how this story will start, pretty much not so different compared to canon, but don't worry it will soo. How will Ash and Pikachu turn out once they get out on the other side of the ring? Find out in the next chapter of Poké Wars: Ring across Time and Space.
