Chapter 2 Pokémon I Choose You
The first thing Ash thought when he woke up was, that was a weird dream. Then he turn over on his side and saw the badge. It wasn't a dream.
Ash get up, todays the day, you start your Journey. Delia said.
The moment Ash heard that. He jump out of bed and got dress. And ran out the door.
When ash got to Prof. Oak lab. He saw Gary, and his soulmates, except Misty waiting outside. What are you guys waiting for, Ash said.
Prof Oak told us to wait for everyone to get here, Gary said. Then Gary walked in the lab.
So how did all you get here, and have you seen Misty, Ash ask.
Well we just appeared here, after waking up, and I think Misty might already be a trainer, Dawn said.
As they walked in, they saw Prof. Oak standing next to a table with eight Pokeball's.
Hello, all of you, congratulations today you start you journey. So I'm here to give you, your first Pokémon. When I call your name step forward.

Gary was about to pick a Pokéball, until Prof. Oak stop him. Then Prof. Oak gave him a pokeball.

Prof. Oak gave May a pokeball with a fire design on it. This pokeball contains a Torchic
The moment May grabbed the pokeball she knew, her and her Torchic would be life long companions.
Dawn Hikari
Prof. Oak gave dawn a pokeball with a water design on it. This pokeball contains a Piplup
The moment Dawn grabbed the pokeball, she knew, her Piplup, would be hard to handle but worth it.
Casey Nanako
Prof. Oak gave Casey a pokeball with a leaf design on it. This pokeball contains a Chikorita
The moment Casey grabbed the pokeball, she knew, her Chikorita, would be affectionate.
Iris
Prof. Oak gave Iris a pokeball with a dragon design on it. This pokeball contains an Axew.

The moment Latias grabbed the pokeball, she knew, her Eevee, would Want to be a fairy type.
Ash Ketchum
Prof. Oak gave Ash a pokeball with leaf design on it. This pokeball contains a Pikachu.

After a lot of talking and sad goodbyes.

They walked on the road, for a few minutes. Before stopping, to let out their starters.
The moment they let them out. Ash's Pikachu said I'm finally out of that ball. I wouldn't go back into that ball.

Yes Tia said, turning into her Pokemon form.

One of these humans caught a legendary, I thought they were beginning trainers, said the female voice of Misty's Oshawott

None of us caught Tia, Ash said, and Tia is you trainer.
Before any of the Pokémon could mention, anything about Ash talking to Pokémon there was a pop

All the starter's look at Mew in fear for what her reaction would be from the way Ash, address her.
Sorry Ms. Mew this boy just started out don't hurt him, Pikachu said.

None of that Mew said. We're going to be traveling together.
The starters looked shock.

Ash pass Mew a pokeball, and she pressed the button to be captured. The ball dinged immediately Signalling that Mew had been capture.
Did I just catch a Mew, Ash ask?
Everyone nodded yes dumbly.

Everyone nodded yes, again.
Then the pokeball opened up, releasing Mew.
That was comfortable, but I like it outside the pokeball. Now then it's time to explain somethings. First Arceus actually didn't give you the ability to talk to Pokémon, Mew said.
I can understand my Pokémon, Misty said.
I was getting to that part, Mew said. So Arceus didn't give you the ability to speak to Pokemon. Arceus did the same thing to you, he did to Latias. You're human for the most part. But when you transform, you will gain the ability to use Pokémon attack.
How do we transform, Iris asked?
Somewhere deep down you should feel. Something different about you, if you reach deep down you could feel it.
When they reach inside themselves they pulled the power out. With a flash of light.
Standing where Ash was supposed to be there was an Absol.
Standing where Misty was supposed to be there was an Eevee with a small Water Stone necklace.
Standing where May was supposed to be there was a Purrloin.
Standing where Dawn was supposed to be there was a Minun.
Standing where Casey was supposed to be there was a shiny Riolo.

Don't worry I'm not much of a fighter. The reason I got captured by Ash was to help him a long the way of his journey, and fix the mistake I made, Mew said.
What mistake, the female voice of Iris's Axew said. Now feeling more brave now knowing that the Mew in front of her, wouldn't Blast her just from questioning her
Ash soulmate would have been, Serena. If I hadn't interfered, Mew said. She was waiting for the group to get angry at her.
There's nothing we can do about it, now Serena said with the others agreeing.
I should expected that from you, I mean Ash does have seven soulmates, said.
He actually has eight. I'm not worthy to be his soulmate yet, Mew thought.
As Mew was thinking this Ash decided he would try fighting a pokemon on his own.
He walk up to the first Pokemon he saw it was a Spearow. Ash then said. I challenge you to a battle.
The Spearow accepted, what move do I know. The voice of his Pokèdex came out of the badge pinned to Ash hat.

As they turn back to the battle we can see Ash use Thunderbolt on the Spearow. It hit and Paralyze, the Spearow. He reach towards the badge on his hat, hoping his pokeball was in there.
When he find one he throw it at the Spearow. After three shakes the Spearow was capture. Ash had captured a Spearow. In his excitement, he accidentally shot out a bolt of lightning
It hit a tree where a flock of Spearow were nesting. This angered them.
Ash try explaining it was and accident, but the Spearow weren't listening. So the group ran. None of them thought about turning back just running.
Then saw a lake and jump in hoping to escape from the Spearow.
[Further down the lake]
We can see a girl with shiny lilac-colored hair, purple eyes fishing with a Eevee, next to her. She was fishing when the fishing rod start pulling hard. She started pulling harder. What came out of the water amazed her, there were pokemon from a few different regions. She was about to pull out her Pokéballs. When she heard the screech of the Spearow.
We need to get out of here, Ash said.
Did that Pokémon just talk, the girl asked, not expecting an answer?
No time for questions, Misty said, we have to run. Ash angered a flock of Spearow.
The girl want to ask how, they could talk, then thought they could talk later. As she got on̈ her bike and called her Eevee back into her Pokéball.
Let's go Iris said, running off with everyone behind her.
As the Spearow were following behind them. The girl not paying attention hit a rock, flipping over. She was hurt and the Spearow's were gaining on them.
You should leave me behind and run the girl said. I'd only slow you down.
Ash didn't even have to think about it he stepped in front of the girl protectively. Not even a second later his soulmates and their pokemon came up beside him.
I'm not going to leave someone to die, if I can do something about it, Ash said.
As the Spearow got close, Ash and his companion shot out a rainbow of energy of different, type of attacks.
All the attacks fused together into One giant beam of energy. The Spearow start falling from the sky.
Does anyone want to catch a Spearow, Misty said jokingly.
They all look at her like really.
As they sat on the ground, they saw a rainbow. Then they saw a golden Phoenix, flying across the sky.
Suddenly Misty Pokèdex voice came from the Water Stone.

They all reach for their badges to pull out their clothes. When they reach inside they Found them and put them on.
So what now, Dawn asked.
Viridian City, May suggested.
Is anyone going to explain to me what's going on, Anabel asked?
They looked at each other, then nodded.
Suddenly Milo, transformed back into Mew, and explained the situation.
It's only your first day, and All this happen. I kind of want to join you now, Anabel said.
The more the merrier, Ash said.
And then starting on their way to Viridian city.
