All Roads Lead To You
Chapter 3
Sunlight streamed through the windows of the bedroom.
Brooke awoke slowly. Reaching over for Lucas. Only finding an empty space and it was then that she got up.
Moving away the bare sheets from her body and pulling back on her nightgown. It varied in color and design.
This one was red and cut off right above the knees.
"Luke." Brooke said softly as she made her way out of the bedroom and through the hallway.
Soon smelling the aroma of breakfast food. She followed it. Making her way downstairs. And slowly entering the kitchen.
Slipping at the sight of him in his grey sweatpants and light blue t shirt.
"Morning Mrs. Scott." Lucas said. With a smile.
"This looks amazing. Cinnamon pancakes. Eggs. Sausage links."
"I love you. Thank you for this and last night well there are words i could use but i would rather just wrap it up in one word."
"Perfect." Brooke said.
"My wife deserves only the best. I aim to please." Lucas replied.
"Oh I know you do." Brooke said.
Lucas leaned over kissing her. The two ate in comfortable silence.
Loving gazes. Light touches. The couple couldn't possibly be more in love.
"I think we made a baby." Lucas announced.
Brooke smiled up at him. "Someone is very confident." She replied.
"I know how badly you want this and i want it too."
"I've been letting work get in the way and i'm going to do all i can to make sure that doesn't keep happening."
"You and our future family will come first." Lucas proclaimed.
"I can't wait to see the daddy you are. You are so meant for this." Brooke proclaimed.
"You are going to be the greatest mom. I can feel it. You nothing like Victoria i need you to hold on to that." Lucas replied.

Weeks Later
It was slow. Quiet and rain soaked morning.
Lucas and Brooke had gotten ready for the day. And dressed for work.
"I'll be right back." Brooke said.
Lucas waited in the hallway. When It was an hour and Brooke still hadn't joined in. Especially since they were supposed to get breakfast together.
He started to get concerned and went back in the bedroom.
It was there that he found her standing in front of the bed.
"I'm pregnant. We're having a baby Luke." Brooke said. With tears falling from her eyes.
Lucas's eyes filled with tears. As he scooped her into his arms.
Holding her securely. Kissing her hard.
As they stared into each other's eyes.
"I love you so much. Thank you for giving me what i've wanted all my life." Lucas proclaimed.
