BARNABY POV:

It felt like hours before the reporters finally left him alone to go interview the king of heroes, Sky High. Barnaby managed to get home, take a warm shower, and take a nap. When he woke up an hour later, Barnaby realized that he hadn't seen Kotetsu since the fight and decided to call the old man. Surprisingly, Kotetsu didn't answer his phone. Barnaby tried again, but there was no answer. This isn't like him, Barnaby thought as he left a voicemail.

"Hey, old man, it's Barnaby. Call me back when you get the chance."

He says before ending the call. Barnaby had a bad feeling about the entire situation, and he couldn't help but worry about Kotetsu.

KOTETSU POV:

Kotetsu wakes up in an all white room, blinded by the bright lights above him. His body aches, and his head pounds as he tries to sit up. Realizing that he's bound to a metal bed frame, Kotetsu begins to struggle.

"Where am I? What happened? Where's Bunny? Why does my head hurt so bad? Where's the food truck?!"

Kotetsu thinks to himself when suddenly he hears a strange voice. It sounds sharp, sassy, and bratty. The voice reminds him of Kaede, and he internally scolds himself for thinking of his daughter that way.

"Food truck, hm, haven't seen one of those in a while."

The voice says, startling Kotetsu.

"W-where are you? Who are you?"

Kotetsu questions, looking around the room

and trying to find the source of the voice.

"Where? In another room. Who? Kemora. What about you?"

The voice asks curiously.

"Kotetsu, Kotetsu Kaburagi."

Kotetsu says, should he even be giving such personal information to a stranger?

"So, how'd you get here, Kotetsu?"

Kemora questions.

"I-I don't know, all I remember is walking up to a food truck and waking up here."

Kotetsu explains, rubbing his head to try and ease the pounding sensation.

"So hungry you let your guard down, tsk tsk tsk."

Kotetsu grumbles when he's called out for his lack of self-awareness.

"Wow, that's all you've gotta say. Maybe I shouldn't waste my time on you."

"No, wait! Do you know where I am?"

Kotetsu asks, his voice sounding more desperate than confident now.

"Mm, no, but it's not a good place. If that's what you're asking."

Kotetsu sighs, trying to keep himself calm. He knows that he's going to be here for a while. Hopefully, his friends will find him in time.
