Bracing the Time and Little Chaos Discovery
Samuel and Panther Lily notice the noise and shaking from below them which the smarty cat of the Legion Platoon can already know what that is.
"It appears that your comrades have managed to spring the trap. Precisely as I calculated." Samuel smirked.
"I see, so that's the reason you drew me away from them. You planned this!" Panther Lily figured out, cursing himself for falling into this guy's hand.
"You're powerful and you can fly, that made you a prime target. Taking on all threats out of the picture is essential for victory." Samuel stated while keeping his grip on Panther Lily so that he doesn't escape.
"(Damn it, if only I help them.)" Panther Lily thought worried for his friend.
(With Gajeel and Others)
The group dodges another tentacle slam from the giant statue and another one trying to crush them, Hiyori is screamed out of her life, and she can't even remember if she was ever this scared before meeting Levy and the others.
"Please tell me you guys thought of a plan to beat that monster?" Hiyori asked exclaiming.
"I think whatever's emitting that red light on the top of the head is the control mechanism." Levy suspected as she is seeing that red light.
"Yeah, and I bet that's its weak spot!" Jet believed it too.
"All right, ugly! Team Shadow Gear's about to chew you up and spit you out!" Droy glared at the giant statue.
"Oh, that sounded pretty good." Hiyori commented.
"I'll immobilize it first!" Levy said getting ready to use her magic.
"Solid Script Magic: Oil!" Levy wrote oil in the air and a large puddle of oil appears spilling under the giant weird statue causing it to lose it to struggle with its balance.
"Wow, she wrote oil and it appear in words!" Hiyori amazed.
"Yeah, her magic allows her to make whatever she writes appear and a fast writer too." Gajeel smirked.
"Now it's my turn to bring the pain! Chain Plant Grow!" Droy threw five seeds at the floor and they instantly into thin but large vines holding the statue in place.
"Now they got it in place!" Hiyori believed this could work against something that big.
"Time for me to finish it off! High Speed!" Jet zoomed onto one of the vines heading straight for the red light.
"Wow, you guys are amazing!" Hiyori complimented.
"See that? Does Shadow Gear rule or what?" Levy grinned with a thumb up.
"Not too shabby, but it ain't over yet." Gajeel impressed with how they're handling things so far.
However, just when Jet was about to reach for the top of the blue head, two of the tentacles managed to get free from one vine which is also connected to the one Jet was running on and snap while he was still running causing him to fall from the height.
"Catch him!" Levy ordered worry for Jet.
"Right!" Droy hurried use his plant magic make stack of leaves to slow down his fall.
Even though Jet fell right through the leaves, they did help slow down his fall so that he wouldn't get hurt too badly as he fell right onto the oil.
"Are you okay?" Levy asked.
"Other than being covered in oil, I'm just fine!" Jet answered and very relief that he is very fine.
"Incoming!" Gajeel warned.
The giant blue statue loving one tentacle to slam down at Jet as he tries to get away only the oil under his feet are causing him to slip and fall on the floor again, this worries everyone that Jet can't get away from the attack and fear he will get seriously hurt if they don't do something.
"(No, he's about to get hurt!)" Hiyori thought feared, clenching onto her staff.
Something off happens with her mind being fuzzy though it was like there is this feeling of wanting to protect those precious to her like friends even though she only knew them for a few minutes, and she feels mad at herself for just sitting on the sideline.
"No." Hiyori said as her body starts to glow.
"STOP!" Hiyori yelled raising her staff in the air and glows a little brightly which got everyone's attention.
Jet's attention went back to seeing the giant tentacle coming at him fearing that this maybe his end, but a few seconds later and notice nothing is happening which is weird as he opens his eyes to see the tentacle stop.
"What the…?" Jet confused.
"Holy Metal Lord!" Gajeel shocked.
"You can say that again!" Levy said who is also very shocked as well.
Hiyori opens her eyes to see that the giant blue statue strangely stopped its tentacle from smashing Jet into a paste, but one tentacle wasn't the only thing that stop as everyone started to notice that everything with the giant blue statue had stop as well when it was still on the oil.
"Hold on, did you do that?" Droy asked Hiyori.
"Huh, yes, I did." Hiyori answered though a little confuse of what she did exactly, but then something in her mind clicked.
"Wait a minute, I just remember my power now. I can control space-time, and I used that to stop this giant statue's time!" Hiyori explained.
"No way! You can control space-time, for now!" Levy shocked as everyone is also having the same reaction.
"That's right, and this staff here is what helps me control my power better." Hiyori looked at her staff.
"Alright, now we can destroy that red light without any problem!" Jet smirked.
"Oh man, now I wish Panther Lily was here so he can see how we're about to destroy the guardian with time on our side!" Gajeel excited clutching his fist.
(Panther Lily vs Samuel)
Panther Lily still struggles to break free from Samuel's grip fearing that Gajeel and the others are in great danger, then he spotted a rock structure thinking that could help him get this guy off.
Panther Lily flies backward fast to slam Samuel against the rock forcing him to let go.
"I saw that one coming!" Samuel said, even though his back hurts right now.
"Taking a battle form like this is strange for an Exceed born in Earth Land." Panther Lily commented.
"Yet it's the truth. I was born in this world, the same as your friends, Happy and Carla." Samuel admitted honestly.
"Then explain to me why you chose to side with the Legion Platoon? Why do you refuse to show compassion to those who share you circumstance?" Panther Lily asked.
"Zentopia took me in after I was hatched and gave me a place to call my own. Lord Byro has been nothing short of a father to me! I owe everything to Zentopia and the Legion Platoon. Repaying that debt is far more important to me than the Exceed or Edoals!" Samuel explained his reason strongly.
Samuel charges at Panther Lily clashing his claws against the big red sword until he flew behind the black cat man and kick him down into the hole then going after him.
But once they enter the chamber, Samuel and Panther Lily are shocked to see that Gajeel is about to defeat the guardian with one attack.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Karma Demon: Iron God Sword!" Gajeel destroyed the giant blue statue with one swing breaking it in half and such.
"Hey, am I seeing things or are there two flying muscular cat man that looks like they're from a big thug gang!" Hiyori surprised.
"Yeah, the black cat guy is the friend we told you about." Jet mentioned.
"Lily! You're never going to believe this, but we found this girl who turned out to be an Angeloid like Ikaros and Nymph. She also has power over space-time which she used to stop the guardian from moving." Levy explained, gesturing to Hiyori.
"Huh, hello there, mister black cat." Hiyori waved hello nervously.
"No way… Another of those angel beings and she has the power of space-time?" Samuel gasped and feeling like she's about to have a heart attack.
"This is inconceivable! How could this be? Now my calculations have been destroyed twice by these stupid angel girls, how could these unexpected things keep happening when I strategize everything to assure victory?! I can't take this! It makes no sense!" Samuel complained.
"Oh, is that other cat okay? I feel like this is my fault somehow." Hiyori asked concern.
"The guy is just having a down moment that his pride has been crushed by the unexpected. So yeah, it is kind od your fault." Gajeel shrugged.
"Don't make it sound like she's guilty of a crime?!" Levy scolded.
Panther Lily see that the smarty cat is having a breakdown meaning he won't be hard to fight anymore and believe this battle is over now.
"A fight is a dynamic thing. Strategy helps, but you must be able to adapt when things go wrong." Panther Lily lectured making Samuel feel uneasily angry.
"It looks to me like you've still got a lot of learning to do, Sammy." Panther Lily smirked calling the guy the nickname Gajeel called him earlier.
"My name is Samuel, you troglodyte!" Samuel angered and charges at Panther Lily only for him to dodge and grab his arm.
"You left yourself open." Panther Lily said.
With all his might, Panther Lily threw Samuel down to the floor so hard that it forces the Exceed of the Legion Platoon to poof back into his small cat form and his eyes dizzy.
Panther Lily shrinks down as well and did a little bone cracking message that forces Samuel to wake up.
"Still, you are not without talent. If you challenge me again in the future, I'll be happy to oblige you." Panther Lily offered.
"Wow, now they're tiny and cute!" Hiyori surprised.
"Yeah, though Panther Lily is the only Exceed we know who can grow big." Levy said.
"Until Samuel came in, guess any Exceed can do that if they trained hard enough." Gajeel guessed.
"I know when it's time to admit defeat. And thanks to our fight, I now realize there are people in this world who defy calculations. Even the unexpected ones like the Angeloids." Samuel admitted as he pushes back his glasses a bit.
"I'm sorry if I made you upset." Hiyori apologized, even though she really didn't need to.
"So, you've realized your own inexperience?" Panther Lily asked.
"On the contrary! It's quite obvious that I simply failed to anticipate all of the variables!" Samuel yelled as he starts writing on his little book.
"Next time, I'll be sure to incorporate every possible detail into my calculations! And then I'll show you barbarians the power of the only muscles that truly matters! But right now, I need to record every single bit of data from this fight while it's still fresh in my memory!" Samuel bragged on.
This made Panther Lily angry that he didn't want to hear this anymore.
"Who're you calling a barbarian, huh?!" Panther Lily snapped and kick Samuel right out of the temple and back out.
"Aw, and I was hoping if I could at least pet his head." Hiyori exclaimed.
"I don't think he's the kind of cat for that." Gajeel commented.
"Looks like Exceeds come in all types too, don't they?" Levy commented as well.
"What's wrong? Miss him already, brother?" Gajeel teased.
"We're not related in the slightest." Panther Lily said as he wants to drop the subject right now.
"So, what happens now?" Hiyori asked.
"Well, we got the clock piece we came for and we're gonna bring it to the others. You can come too; I know you'll the thrilled to see other Angeloids." Levy smiled.
"Others like me?" Hiyori surprised to hear this.
"Yeah, there are two others who are these angel cyborgs or whatever you are, maybe you might know them too." Gajeel nodded.
"Oh, that would be something to know." Hiyori smiled; feeing excited to meet these other Angeloids.
(With the Strauss Siblings)
The Strauss Siblings went off searching for one clock piece that Lucy was able to figure out that it's within a giant lake and they need to find it, they arrive at the giant lake and Lisanna use her Take-Over: Animal Soul magic to make herself into a mermaid.
"(Okay, I should be able to find the clock piece or something that could lead us to it.)" Lisanna thought as she looks around.
Then Lisanna spotted something that looks like a giant plug for sinks and other things.
Lisanna wonders if that can help with finding the clock piece as she goes to the plug and pulls it out of the hole, this causes the water to be drained that lake into the other right next to it while Elfman and Mirajane see the water going down.
"Check it out, the lake is shrinking!" Elfman surprised.
"Guess Lisanna must've found something down there." Mirajane said.
The two oldest siblings went down to find Lisanna with the drain plug, and they all saw one special clock piece on a square block with cracks.
"Good work, sis! You found it!" Mirajane smiled proudly of her little sister.
"I'm just glad that I was able to be useful for a change. I was beginning to feel like a third wheel. Silly, huh?" Lisanna relieved to have been a big help.
"Nah, I noticed it too." Elfman admitted.
"Okay, let's grab the clock piece and meet up with the others." Mirajane said.
"Okay, time to-What the fuck?" Elfman shocked of seeing something else than the clock piece.
"Elfman, what have talk about saying such words?" Mirajane asked in a scolding tone.
"But there's something weird over here next to the clock piece." Elfman informed.
Mirajane and Lisanna are confused of what could this weird this be that made Elfman stop when he was about to grab the clock piece, they walk over to Elfman and look to what he's looking at though they became shocked of this.
"What in the world?" Lisanna confused.
"Is that a little girl wearing a nun outfit?" Mirajane asked, wondering if she's seeing things or not.
What they are looking at is a girl wearing a black nun-like outfit that covers her whole body with white part on the neck area and the headgear, a metal chocker around her neck, long pale blonde hair that goes all the way down halfway on her legs, and no footwear at all.
"What's a little girl doing here of all places?" Mirajane wondered.
"I don't know, but there's something about her that doesn't seem normal." Lisanna said getting a weird feeling this girl isn't what she appears to be.
"Hold on, was this girl underwater before Lisanna drained the lake?" Elfman asked realizing this.
"I think you're right, and yet the girl is sounding peacefully in her sleep." Mirajane said hearing the soft snoring sound from her mouth.
"I think we should bring her back with us. I don't like the idea of leaving a little girl like her out here alone." Mirajane suggested.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." Lisanna nodded.
"Okay, you two check on the girl while I grab the clock piece." Elfman said as he walks over to the clock piece.
"It's heavy!" Elfman groaned as he pulls the clock piece off.
"Manly throw!" Elfman suddenly threw the clock piece away for some unknown reason.
"What you do that for?" Lisanna confused as Mirajane is wondering as her with the little girl on her back.
"Oh, not her!" Elfman gasped upon seeing a familiar face that he hopes to never see again.
"Thanks a lot, big guy. I should thank you all three of you for helping me get the clock piece without, like, having to get wet." Mary smirked, revealing herself onto the scene.
"Isn't she…" Lisanna tried to remember this girl from before.
"Yeah, she's that annoying girl from the Legion Platoon." Elfman nodded angry.
"Care to explain how you knew where to find us?" Mirajane asked with the girl in her arms.
"I followed you here. I figured it was easier to let you find it, and then totally steal it right out from under you. I'm, like, a genius!" Mary explained bragging.
"Although, technically, I guess it was Samuel's idea." Mary admitted.
That's when Elfman had enough to hear from this woman and charges at her.
"Ha! Three against one? Nice strategy!" Elfman transformed his right arm into a black, bigger muscle beast.
Only his charge to work against him and attack his sisters instead though they managed to dodge.
"Crap! I forgot!" Elfman shocked.
"You can try to fight it, but that's not gonna help ya. There's, like, nothing you can do! As long as I have this baton, you losers are totally my puppets!" Mary smirked.
The little girl in Mira's arms start to moan with her eyes slowly opening.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
