Clashing Follower and Being of Heaven!
"Nu-uh! I don't like this book at all!" Asuka shook her head much to her parents' confusion. "It's got a weird story… and it's scary."
(Zentopia, with the Archbishop)
"What are you doing, Archbishop?" One medical man of Zentopia gasped of seeing his lordship up from bed when he shouldn't be.
Right now, the Archbishop isn't looking right as he is setting up lots and lots of candles on some long poles around his bed while letting out a creepy laugh.
"It's close… So very close… "Time ticks forward… on toward inevitable chaos…" If won't be long before the end is upon us… So very close…" The Archbishop stated with the excitement of insanity, almost like the man has given up hope on the world altogether.
(With Panther Lily and Samuel)
"Let me get this straight, there's still something hidden in the book?" Panther Lily asked.
"Don't think that by sharing this with you, I am denouncing Zentopia. I will fulfill my duty as a member of the Legion Platoon." Samuel stated that he never wants to throw away the people who are family to him.
"However, just as in Edolas, no one knows what course this Holy War in the human world will take." Samuel said as he looks up at the sky, the question of how this Holy War will take place and at what cost.
(With Gildart and Laki)
Gildart and Laki were given a different mission than the others who are out gathering the Clock pieces and fighting the Legion Platoon, they arrive what appears to be a place that was teething with life, but now it's all ruins.
"(I hope whatever we came here to find will be here otherwise this will end up being a wild goose chase.)" Gildart thought hoped this trip was worth it.
(With Natsu's Group vs Byro)
"Alright, let's do this!" Natsu smirked while cracking his knuckles as Ikaros also gets ready to right.
"Huh… Something is happening." Michelle said as she pulls out a small bag, opens it to bring out the clock hand that is still wrapped in the cloth but it's glowing from the inside.
"Michelle, what is going on? And why did you bring the clock hand?" Lucy asked shock.
"I'm sorry, but I thought it would be safer bringing it with us since we have strong people in our group." Michelle explained with an apology.
"But look, it's finally resonating." Michelle showed the slowing clock hand to her sister.
And that's not the only clock piece that is glowing so suddenly, that goes for the other clock pieces that have taken by the Fairy Tail teams are glowing as well almost like they're alive or something.
(With the Archbishop)
"It's finally happening… time is ticking forward!" The Archbishop screamed like a eerie headache going on from within his head.
"The chaos… the everlasting midnight… it's coming!" The Archbishop screamed again.
(Fairy Tail Guildhall)
Kinana has been sleeping peacefully on a bed within the medical bay of the small guildhall, but then she woke up suddenly upon hearing a voice.
"Your voice… Let me hear it…"
"Who are you? Tell me? I have to know!" Kinana begged, but the mysterious voice didn't respond nor did anything else happen.
But she can feel it in her heart that this voice sounds very familiar to her and feels like she knows who that is, but she can't understand why since she lost her memories of the time she was cursed as a snake.
(With Natsu's Group vs Byro)
Before Byro could continue his fight with the Fairy Tail group here, he first attended to his octopus companion who is shrinking smaller that fits onto Byro's hand.
"You've done well, Kanaloa. I'll handle things from here on." Byro promised as he carefully stores his octopus companion into his pocket.
"Whoa! It's pocket size! How'd that happen?!" Lucy shocked to see the giant octopus they just defeated is now small like a kid's toy.
"I believe Kanaloa may have his own magic ability to shrink his own body size however he wants like just now when it can no longer fight." Nymph analyzed the octopus with her scanner.
"Oh! Great for a snack or side dish!" Michelle blurted out about the octopus being food again.
"He's a warrior, not an entrée!" Byro angered.
"Master, I may have been idea that could help us fight against this man who can neutralize all forms of magic." Ikaros said walking closer to her Master.
"Huh, what's up?" Natsu asked then Ikaros whispers the plan into his ear.
"Really, you sure that will work?" Natsu asked.
"Yes, just go attack like you do with any other opponents and I will be right behind you." Ikaros nodded.
(Music: Angels Fall, Breaking Benjamin)
"Okay, if you say so." Natsu smirked.
"But just to like you know, I always tend on messing up plans even when they seem like a really good one." Natsu informed his angel friend.
"That is fine, you are Natsu Dragneel, after all." Ikaros said that she doesn't mind.
"Okay then, let's attack!" Natsu smirked as he charges forward at Byro.
"Whatever you two are planning, all will crumble and fall by the might of Zentopia." Byro stated with pride.
"That's where you are wrong." Ikaros said.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu unleashed his big fire breath at Byro who simply nullified the attack into nothing.
However, in that instant moment when Byro neutralized Natsu's flame attack, Ikaros appeared right under his nose and threw right hook onto his stomach that sinks in and Byro is shocked with the sudden sensation of pain coursing through his body before he is sent flying away about twenty feet.
"Did you see that? Ikaros got a good hit on him!" Lucy shocked.
"That's because Ikaros used her speed to move under Natsu's fire attack around the same time he unleash it, and used the moment when Byro nullified his fire magic as an opening to strike." Nymph explained on what she has been able to see.
"And that's a good thing too because Ikaros' strength isn't bond by magic along with her speed and flight." Nypmh pointed out.
"That would make Ikaros a counter against the Nullification Magic and she can even keep up with Byro's super strength too!" Lucy smiled.
"Looks like your plan is working perfectly, Ikaros." Natsu smiled.
"Thank you, Master. But we shouldn't celebrate too soon, we still need to defeat him." Ikaros pointed out.
"(I can't believe that angel was able to land a direct hit on me, but I'll be sure that won't happen again.)" Byro thought as he got himself back up.
"Ikaros, get me in the air!" Natsu ordered with an exciting grin.
"As Happy would always say at a time like this. Aye." Ikaros nodded and carry Natsu into the air.
"Hey, Ikaros! If you're gonna use my catchphrase, then you gotta put more feelings into it!" Happy shouted.
"Don't think you can get away from me!" Byro pointed his staff at the duo and tries to nullify er wings, but nothing happened as Ikaros is still flying around and carrying Natsu in her arms.
"What? My magic isn't working on her!" Byro shocked.
"She really isn't effected by the guy!" Romeo smiled.
"Go get him, Ikaros!" Happy cheered.
"Let see how you handle this inferno!" Natsu put his hands together.
"Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" Natsu unleashed another fire magic attack at the leader of the Legion Platoon.
But Byro wasn't fazed by this as he used his power to nullify the boy's fire again only for him and the angel girl to be right in front of him with the former tightening his fist.
"Take this!" Natsu threw a strong punch that seem to have connected to Byro's head.
"I got him!" Natsu smirked.
"Not quite, he was able to barely parry your punch away and only left a graze on his head." Ikaros informed as she flies around.
True to Ikaros' words, Byro has managed to parry Natsu's incoming fast punch at the last second leaving one graze mark on the side of his forehead, but the force from the punch was greater that made him stumble back a few feet or a little more than he expected.
"Hey Ikaros, I'm going to lend you some of my fire and you go in attack him with that." Natsu planned.
"But he'll nullify the fire before it could even touch him." Ikaros pointed out.
"Yeah, but he can't stop you from keeping on attacking." Natsu smirked as he grabs onto Ikaros' hand.
"Very well, if that if your wish." Ikaros agreed to the plan.
"Now go! Fire Angel Fist Drive!" Natsu shouted and threw Ikaros with the strongest throw he could with Ikaros going down at Byro with one flaming fist.
"Have many times must you be reminded that no magical powers will ever work on me!" Byro yelled as he pointed his staff at the angel girl to nullify the fire away.
"That's true, but…" Ikaros kept going and connected her fist onto Byro's face with a very hard impact that slams the old man down onto the ground and forms a little crater around with some cracks.
"But you cannot stop the physical attacks from coming at you." Ikaros finished her sentence.
"Yeah! Go get him!" Natsu cheered.
"No way! Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Coco asked Dan who just woke up from his unconscious.
"Yeah, never thought I see the say when Lord Byro would be the one knocked down to the ground for a fist on his face." Dan surprised by this scene too.
"But you know, I don't think we should be too surprised considered how Ikaros is full of surprises along with these Fairy Tail wizards showing some guts, mostly on Natsu." Dan smiled.
"Do you think we should help Lord Byro wit this fight?" Coco asked.
"Nah, he would probably be piss at us for interfering with this fight and he's still mad at us for not completing our mission." Dan pointed out.
"Yeah, I think you're right." Coco sighed, admitting that that here is nothing much they can do right now.
Byro could not believe that he has been struck again by these overemotional wizards and has been struck down to the ground by this angel girl of all people, and he can tell that attack really hurt him more than the last one she hit his stomach.
"In the name of Zentopia! I will not be stop from my mission!" Byro announced as he threw the large staff at Ikaros.
Ikaros moves back to dodge the staff which got Byro the opening to flip himself back on his feet and starts attacking her with his staff some more.
However, Ikaros is easily able to block each strike and used one arm to not only block his attack, but to also push it down to the ground.
Ikaros goes down for a swipe kick to trip him over, but Byro saw this coming and jumps over Ikaros though that evasion was short-live when he felt two hands grabbing his shoulder and side at the same time.
"You cannot get away that easily." Ikaros said.
"Curse you!" Byro angered.
Then Ikaros threw Byro sending the leader of the Legion Platoon while he is upside-down which is one small opening that Natsu needs to go one hit for himself on the old man.
"Fire Dragon Talon!" Natsu unleashed a powerful flaming kick right onto Byro's back causing him to gasp in pain and to feel the burn on his back too.
"I'm not done!" Natsu said as his whole body starts to burst up in flames.
"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" Natsu blitzed forward at Byro.
"Not so fast!" Byro quickly turned around to nullify his fire magic.
However, that is all Byro was able to do as Natsu kept going with his headbutt attack right onto the old man's chest and pushing him back further until they crashed right onto a stone wall which is strong enough to make Byro cough up blood a bit.
"Yeah! Natsu got another hit in!" Lucy smiled.
"With the incredible teamwork of Natsu and Ikaros, they can make even that Byro guy feel the power and make him bend his knees!" Michelle said with her hands together.
"Looks like Happy now has to awesome people to cheer for." Romeo chuckled.
"You better believe I do! Go Natsu! Get that Byro guy Hell, Ikaros!" Happy cheered for the both of them.
"Oh man, oh man, this is WAY more than I was expecting to see!" Dan shocked.
"I know I shouldn't be rooting for the enemy, but those two are incredible that their combined strength is even more than what Lord Byro can handle." Coco smiled out loud.
"How dare you…" Bryo said.
"Don't think I'm done just because you got a few good hits in!" Byro angered as he knee-kick Natsu right in the stomach and punch the face to send Natsu away.
"Master!" Ikaros quickly caught Natsu.
Byro comes in swinging his staff to smash them both into the ground only for Ikaros to stop the attack with her hand catching the staff.
"You are no match for us." Ikaros said and pushes Byro away.
(Music End)
"Damn, that really hurt. But still, this match is gonna help me surpass Gildart though I wish this could have been more of a one-on-one." Natsu smirked.
"I'm all fired up that it's like I'm fighting Gildart right now!" Natsu shouted with excitement.
"For better or worse, at least he got a positive outlook." Happy deadpanned.
"Well, Natsu is Natsu." Lucy chuckled.
"The fate of the entire world hangs in the balance, yet you care only for personal affairs?" Byro asked, displease with this boy and his reason for fighting this fight.
"You got a problem, pal?" Natsu asked.
"Such shortsightedness, you couldn't possibly understand the weight of the burden we carry. We are prepared to sacrifice our very lives for this mission." Byro stated.
"I do not think my Master prefers to kill his enemies and soak his hands in blood unless he had no other choice." Ikaros stated bluntly with one finger on her chin.
"Hey! No need to make it sound like I'm scared or anything!" Natsu complained.
"Anyway, let just take this guy down." Natsu gritted his teeth.
"Things are starting to get heated up, huh?" A mysterious figure chuckled, hiding within the ruins and watching the fight.
"Good luck, Salamander and friends! I'm surprised to see how well you're doing against Lord Byro and even getting some good hits, but that won't matter once he starts getting really serious." The figure laughed and his appearance is known.
This mysterious figure resembles a large mechanical teddy bear with a pink head accompanied by a zipper running across his chin to the lower part of his mouth. His arms are a metallic color with stripes and his hands in blue gloves. His upper body is blue, which consists of a slot machine with a golden lever. His lower body is green and is separated from the upper by a jagged violet line running through his body. Behind him are blue lights attached by a large yellow ring.
"Let's go, Ikaros!" Natsu charged at Byro with Ikaros running right behind him.
(Fairy Tail Guildhall)
"Master, what happened to me?" Kinana asked, confused of why she is in bed.
"You just passed out from anemia. You need to rest for a while." Marco said, not wanting to worry the girl.
"No, you don't have to die, I know this has something to do with the spell I was under." Kinana stated that she knew something was up mostly about the spell she was under when she used to be a snake.
"It's all just a blur now. I don't remember being a snake. I'm afraid… what'll happen if I do remember? I don't think it'd be a good thing." Kinana expressed her fear about getting her memories back.
"Should I really be here?" Kinana asked, feeling worried about this.
Both the current Guild Master Marco and his best friend/advisor are thinking the same thing which concerns about poor young Kinana, and this concern for the girl has brought up back some memories about the time when they first met Kinana seven years ago back the Tenoru Island Disappearance Incident.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Natsu's group have square off against Byro and things are actually going better than how the fight went in the anime like how Natsu is able to do some damage with some BIG help from Ikaros in the mix. Now let see how long Byro can keep his cool under all this pressure.
