Hello all.

I'm back from Wrestlemania (which was amazing) and can now present the newest chapter of my story. Not much else to say other than that iy was fun to write and I hipe you enjoy.

The episode opens with a familiar shot of the Island, followed by Chris McLean's voice. "Last time on Total Drama Island…our campers were sent down some sucktastic slides and played basketball with their bodies. Don't get why it's not an olympic sport yet. Nichelle formed an alliance with Axel and did something no one could've expected. She did something good for her team. The competition continued with the Skunk Butts looking like they would take it, but, and this honestly a shock, Millie found herself (and Damien) plummeting down a metal pipe of gears and death and somehow stayed alive to win for her team. Chase scored no points, hurt Julia, broke several of her phones and was more obsessed with the camera…than me. So it's no wonder he got eliminated."

The camera flashed to reveal Chris on the dock. "And that's good because there's only so much camera time I'm willing to give. But, fear not, I will allow you to see plenty of campers in pain, here…on Total…Drama…Island!"

Millie let out a soft groan as she felt herself starting to wake up. Groggily, she opened her eyes. It took a minute to adjust her vision, but when she did, she realized where she was. She was in the infirmary tent in a rather crummy bed. Her head was taped up and her arms and legs were plastered with bandages as well. Next to her, on a fold out bench, was a sleeping Priya, hugging her knees.

Millie held her head. "What…happened?"

"You fell in the four point slide of death…" Millie looked up to see Damien walking towards her. "...and somehow survived."

"Oh yeah…" Millie was starting to remember. "Wait, didn't you fall in too?"

"Yeah."

"Then how do you look better than me?"

It was true. Damien didn't have a single bandage or bruise on his body and was walking normally without any issue.

"I'm a fast healer." Damien shrugged. "But, more importantly, I want to know-"

"Millie!"

At that moment, Priya had just woken up. She shot out of her chair and immediately went to Millie's side. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry, if I pressured you into going in there. I wanted us to win, but I didn't want to come at the expense of your health."

"It's fine, Priya." Millie said. "I'm fine." Though her forced smile was telling another story.

"Oh, I know." Priya acknowledged. "Chris said that if you woke up before today's challenge, you'd be okay to still compete." She smiled giddily.

"Great…" Millie mumbled with sarcastic enthusiasm.

As the two continued talking, Damien thought it was best to give them some privacy. He walked out, turned around and-

"Hi."

Damien screamed and jumped back, covering his face with his hands.

"Sorry!" Lauren also put her hands up to calm him down. "I didn't mean to scare you, I just saw you coming out and I wanted to see how you were doing and-"

"It's fine." Damien finally calmed down. "I'm fine. You just…don't sneak up on me like that."

"I'm sorry."

The neurotic contestant let out a loud sigh. "I'm still not used to…this." He gestured at Lauren.

"I understand. I'll try not to sneak up on you like that."

"Good." There was an awkward silence between them. "So, you're really just…normal, now?"

Lauren shrugged. "I don't entirely know how it works, but, if it makes a difference, I don't want to take your skull or…use a jackhammer on you."

Damien actually found himself easing up. "Alright, that's good. Hopefully, this…Normal Girl personality will stick around and-"

At that moment, an acorn dropped from a tree and landed on top of Lauren's head. She winced and her head jolted down.

Damien went pale.

Confessional (Damien): "I've seen this before. A good shot to the head puts her right back to normal…and by normal…I mean terrifying!"

Static

Damien slowly stepped back with baited breath, ready to run at a moment's notice. It was a tense few seconds as Lauren didn't move.

When Damien was certain he was far enough, he was going to make a run for it and-

"Ow…" Lauren rubbed the top of her head. "That hurt." She frowned.

Damien cautiously eased up. "You…okay?"

Lauren nodded. "I think I'll be fine. I just need to sit down." She walked past Damien and went into the infirmary.

Damien watched, still suspicious.

"So what is this supposed to do again?" Nichelle asked nervously.

Axel looked up. "It's supposed to help with balance. If you can't master this, then it'll be impossible to learn anything else."

"Ok, but…isn't this a bit much?" Nichelle was referring to the fact that she was several feet above the ground, standing on thin rope, holding a long stick with both hands.

Axel just scoffed. "You've probably seen this sort of thing in one of your movies. It's fine."

"Ok, but will you catch me if I fall?"

"If I say 'yes' you'll just fall sooner."

"Sooner!?" Nichelle was now even more nervous than before. "You mean I'm still going to fall?!"

"With an attitude like that, you will. Now stop groaning and move it! One foot in front of the other."

Nichelle gulped. But, ever so slowly, she moved her foot. She didn't dare look down.

Confessional (Nichelle): "I never thought I'd say this, but Axel's right. Not knowing if she's going to actually catch me is a great inspiration. It's terrifying, but it works."

Static

Nichelle closed her eyes, as she slowly brought her foot back down. She felt a huge sense of relief when she touched the rope. She opened her eyes and looked. "I…I did it. Alright, let's do another." She moved her back foot and did the same thing. Same result.

Axel nodded as she saw how she was progressing.

"I'm actually doing it!" Nichelle yelled. "They don't know what they're missing. Hollywood can kiss my-" At the moment of bringing her foot down, she hadn't realized that it wasn't in the right spot and she fell right through and plummeted towards the ground, screaming all the way.

Axel realized it and ran towards her. She arrived just in time to catch her. They both fell to the ground.

The zombie commando grunted and grabbed her head. "What did I-" Axel froze up, realizing the position she was in.

She was on the ground, with Nichelle directly on top of her. Their faces were inches apart and Axel could practically see up the former Hollywood star's nostrils.

She also felt a warmth emanating from her cheeks.

Before anything else could happen, Axel put her arm up and pushed Nichelle to the side. She then quickly sat up, trying to repress her glowing cheeks.

"Sorry…" Nichelle said.

"I-It's fine…" Axel grunted, looking away. "Let's…let's go again."

Chris and Chef were standing in front of the interns next to a tent full of boxes. Chef was holding a box with a bunch of spray cans in it.

Nearby, behind a rock, was Julia.

Confessional (Julia): "I really need these wins, so I need to take any advantage I can get. Listening in on Chris and his interns, before today's challenge, should give me just what I need."

Static

Slowly, Julia poked her head out to see Chris. Then something caught her eye.

Or rather, someone.

On the opposite side, MK was also poking her head out from behind a rock. When she did, she immediately spotted Julia and let out a quick gasp.

Julia scrambled to get back down.

Chris turned and looked around. He didn't see anything around him, so turned his attention back to the interns.

Julia and MK poked their heads back out. The influencer silently gestured to the hacker. Rat me out and you'll get busted too, got it?

MK responded with an obscene gesture that Julia took great offense too. MK smirked to herself, then responded with a thumbs up. They listened in.

"Listen up, interns." Chris started. "Today's challenge will involve us spraying the campers with sap."

"And when it's over," Chef continued. "We need to spray them with this de-sapifying spray. Nothing else on earth will unstick those kids." He held out the box of cans. Both MK and Julia took a great interest in that.

Confessional (Julia): "Doing a sap related challenge without being covered in sap could help."

Confessional (MK): "My team needs wins, otherwise I'm an easy target. And with Ripper gone and Scary Girl not being scary, that puts me on the chopping block." She scoffed. "Julia's lucky I didn't expose her."

At that moment, a speaker sounded out and MK listened.

Static

"Attention, campers!" Chris' voice sounded. "It's challenge time!"

The two teams were brought to the beach. Chris and Chef were there, as was a large canister with purple liquid. Chef was holding a hose attached to it. There was also a TV screen next to them.

Millie, Damien, Lauren and Priya were the last ones to arrive. When Zee saw them, he frowned.

Confessional (Zee): He sighed. "Man, I feel terrible. Damien and Millie fell into that slide because of me. I'm starting to think this sponsorship is cursed." He then gasped and reached into his pocket. "Um…but, you know what isn't cursed?" He pulled out a red and green soda can. "Watermelon Twist! Available now."

Confessional (Millie): She was rolling her arm around, puzzled. "Huh. I guess I'm a fast healer too."

Static

"Welcome to your third challenge, campers." Chris said. "Or should I call you saps?"

At that moment, Chef turned the nozzle on his hose. Instantly, the purple liquid came spewing out of it, dosing the competitors in it. They all screamed in surprise and tried to shield themselves, but it didn't do much.

"Ew, what is this stuff?" Emma asked.

"Oh, I know." Zee pulled out a purple soda can. "It's the delicious taste of Grape Gatsby." He lifted it up to take a sip.

"This is sap from the rare Icky Splat Tree. And not only is it icky, it's also extremely sticky."

Zee then stopped himself from taking a sip. He looked at the soda can and waved his hand around, now realizing he couldn't let go of it.

Confessional (Zee): "Aw man. It happened again. This sponsorship really is…" He trailed off, before eventually forcing a smile. "...the best thing that ever happened to me. Look." He held up his can. "The delicious taste won't make me let go."

Static

"So, why did you cover us in this stuff?" Julia asked.

"Two reasons." Chris explained. "One, because I find it hilarious. And two, because it'll make your challenge all the more harder to get through." He pulled out a remote. The TV flashed on and showed a blueprint map of the island, with two separate paths, reaching the same spot with a checkered flag. "Your challenge is to trek across the island, using one of two optional paths."

"How do we know which path is safer to take?" Damien asked.

"Oh, Damien." Chris sighed. "Neither path is safe. Both paths are equally dangerous as they are deadly.

Confessional (Damien): "Yup. That was a stupid question."

Static

Chris continued. "You'll have thirty minutes to get across. The team with the most players to reach the finish, by the end of the time limit, will win. I'd say you should stick together, not because it's a good idea, but it will make me laugh."

Confessional (Bowie): "Alright. This is it. I'm gonna play fair this time. We will win by the end and I will get that kiss."

Static

"You're going down!" Raj shouted at the other team.

"Nuh-uh!" Wayne retored. "We're going across the island. That's what you're supposed to do!"

"Wayne. Focus." Priya said. "Do you have any ideas for this challenge?"

Confessional (Priya): "I still don't like how Wayne is trying to be team captain, but I doubt he could come up with a strategy to get through this one. When Wayne fails to come up with anything, I'll step in and say that we should try and split up to avoid getting too many of us together. But I doubt Wayne will think of that." She smirked.

Static

Wayne thought for a moment.

"Well…?" Priya asked.

"Ummm…I think we should try and…split up. We don't all need to go alone, but if too many of us are together, it'll be easier for us to get stuck."

Everyone nodded from hearing this, except Priya, who's eye twitched a little.

"I'll go with Priya." Millie said.

"Same here." Caleb added.

"Great!" Chris announced. "Because the challenge is starting…right now!" He held up an airhorn and blasted it.

Many of the Skunk Butts and Rat Faces headed off. Millie, Priya and Caleb headed off. Damien followed them. Unbeknownst to him, Lauren followed behind him. Wayne and MK went off on their own.

"Alright! Let's do this!" Raj raised his arms. "We're going to win this one!"

"Fair and square!" Bowie added.

"Hold on." Julia stepped next to Bowie. "We are going to win this, but I think it's best that Bowie and I go together and Raj goes on his own."

"What?" Raj asked.

"Excuse me?" Bowie sputtered at the same time.

"What?" Julia said. "We're covered in sap and I can see in Bowie's eyes that he wants to kiss you. If that happens, then you'll be stuck and in serious trouble."

Confessional (Raj): "Hm. That's actually a good point. Cool of Julia to keep Bowie in check like that."

Static

"Alright." Raj said. "I'll see you at the end, babe!"

"Wait, Raj-" Bowie said, but stopped as Raj was already running off. He turned back to Julia. "What are you planning?"

"Follow me and you'll find out." Julia started walking. Bowie sighed and followed.

Zee and Emma also started walking in.

"You want a-"

"No, Zee!" Emma said. "I don't want a soda."

"That's fine. I only had half a can of Grape Gatsby anyways. You wanna hear about the other flavors?"

"No, Zee. And please don't talk to me. I have a boyfriend."

"Oh, yeah. That's nice."

"Yeah. It is nice." Emma said defensively. They were soon out of sight.

Axel and Nichelle were left. The zombie commando grinned. "This should be easy…for me." She turned to her partner. "Just stick by me and…wait, no. Don't do that. Stay away from me. I don't want to get stuck."

"Should I pretend I got bit by a zombie?" Nichelle suggested jokingly.

Axel scoffed. "If you got bit, I'd have already decapitated you."

"Nice." Nichelle said, very unnerved. "Alright, fine. What if I just pretend to be a zombie?" She raised her arms up and made weird grunts and groaning sounds as she walked stiffly.

Axel gave a weird look. "No. First off, that's terrible form. That's the most clique and basic zombie walk I've ever seen. I swear, everyone in Hollywood has ruined people's perception of zombies. When the takeover eventually does happen, there's going to be some many misinformed people and-" Nichelle suddenly started laughing. Axel looked at her. "What's so funny?"

"Sorry." Nichelle tried to stifle herself. "I think it's just cool how…invested you are in this sort of thing."

Axel stared at her partner, suddenly feeling a lot calmer. That warm feeling in her cheeks had returned. She turned her head away.

The four Rat Faces were making their way through the forest. Caleb and Priya were in front, while Damien and Millie trailed behind.

The hunk sided up to Priya. "So…" He said slyly. "How should I keep you safe if we run into any-"

"Hold on, Caleb." Priya interrupted. She looked back. "How are you doing, Millie?"

"Fine." She called back. She was walking next to Damien.

Priya nodded then faced forward. Caleb was surprised.

Confessional (Caleb): He was annoyed. "Priya is constantly focusing on Millie and it's ruining my chances of keeping her in my alliance. I need to find a way to keep her away."

Confessional (Damien): "Why didn't Priya ask if I was okay?" He paused. "And more importantly…"

Static

Damien leaned over and whispered to Millie. "So…I wanted to ask you a question." Millie looked at him. "Why did you -of all people- not see that you were walking into a metal slide of death?"

Millie suddenly grew nervous. "Well…you know, I just…got distracted and-"

The neurotic contestant shook his head. "I know you, Millie. You're smart enough to not lose focus around a place that could seriously maim you. Something's up and I wanna know what."

Millie gulped. She didn't respond for a minute. But, eventually, she let out a sigh in defeat. "One second." She called out to her friend. "Hey, Priya. You go on ahead. If we're too close together, we might risk getting stuck."

"I don't think so, Millie." Priya said. "If I go too far ahead, who will keep you safe?"

Damien caught onto what Millie was doing. "I can. And if anything happens, we know to call for you."

Priya still wasn't sure, but eventually shrugged and turned back around, going ahead with Caleb in tow.

Millie sighed sadly. "You remember that whole notebook thing from last season?"

Damien nodded. "The one that nearly caused a serious laceration to friendship with Priya because you wrote derogatory statements about her and her parents?"

"Yeah, that." She looked forward to Priya, who didn't seem to hear her. "Well, the thing is…I regret writing about it, but…I don't think I was wrong with what I wrote." Damien raised an eyebrow, while Millie continued. "I mean, think about it. Priya spent her whole life thinking what her parents want is more important than what she wants. They seriously had her believe that med school isn't as important as competing on Total Drama."

"Wow, that is messed up."

"Right?" Millie said. "And…just seeing her so obsessive about this game, it…it's hard to watch."

"I see." Damien pondered. "But, that doesn't answer my question."

"When you said that you trusted me, it reminded me that I'm doing the exact same thing I did last season. Hiding something from my best friend. So, that's why I got distracted and fell in."

"So, why not tell her how you feel?"

"I would, but-"

"What are you guys talking about?"

Millie and Damien jumped to the side, the latter also letting out a girlish scream as they both turned around.

"Sorry." Lauren said, holding her hands up. "I-I didn't mean to scare you. I-"

At that moment, Millie heard another loud scream. She looked up to see Priya, high in the air, letting out a loud battle cry, about to land a punch on Lauren. "Wait!" She yelled. "Priya, it's Lauren! If you punch her, you'll get stuck!"

Last season's winner was inches away from the former Scary Girl, her fist just in front of her face. She eased off after that. "Alright. That's fine. It's great actually. She and Damien can watch from the back and you can stick with me."

"Great…" Millie forced a smile.

"Don't worry. My parents made me sleep outside on some days to help heighten my senses. I won't let anything come near you."

Confessional (Millie): She was pushing a pillow into her face. She was also letting out a very muffled scream.

Static

Julia had just arrived near a bush. She looked around, before reaching inside of it.

Bowie looked annoyed. "Alright, so do you wanna tell me why you-" He was cut off when he was sprayed with a purple mist. "Hey, what are you-"

"Relax." Julia said, holding a purple spray can. "Just give it a minute and you'll be fine." Soon enough, she was done.

"Alright." Bowie coughed. "So what was…" He trailed off. All the pink sap that Chef had doused him with was suddenly gone. "What did you do?"

"Oh, nothing." Julia said as she started spraying herself. "Just hid a can of de-sapifying spray in here to give us an advantage because I may or may not have been snooping on Chris before the challenge."

Bowie nodded, impressed. "Wow. Yeah this should give us a real advantage and-" He then realized something. "And it's cheating. And I just told my boyfriend that I would play this game fairly."

Julia scoffed. "Don't worry, I'm not an idiot. I left a bucket of sap somewhere on the other side of the island. We can just repaint ourselves before Raj sees you. He won't know anything and you'll get your kiss."

Bowie sighed, longingly, at that, but then shook his head. "Wait, no. I'll know and I don't want to lie to Raj like that."

The influencer rolled her eyes. "It might surprise you, Bowie, but I really don't care. At this point, there's nothing you can do other than follow me until we find more sap. You can't show up to the end not sticky. And I know you're not going to rat me out because I still have the numbers advantage."

Bowie held a glare, but it eventually fell. "Fine." He said, defeated. "But why are you trying to help me? I thought you hated me."

"Oh, I do. But I also know that if you're gone, then I probably won't last much longer on this team, if you're not a target anymore."

"Fair point. Alright, let's go. I don't want to stay like this."

Julia smirked. "Actually, let's take a detour first. I wanna have some fun."

Bowie let out a grunt in frustration, but followed.

Zee looked at his soda can stuck to his hand. "So, like, I needed the money and it's great because I can buy, like, so many other sodas. But, every time I do this sponsorship, something goes wrong. It got me eliminated in the first challenge and then…"

As he was rambling, Emma was walking next to him, doing her own rant. "...and Bowie is such a jerk. He got people to vote Chase off. And why? Because he was too obsessed with the camera and not the challenge? Uh, news flash. He shoved me into one of those tubes and got us three points. He has no…"

"...caused Damien and Millie to fall into a metal tube with gears of death. And now this soda can…" He gestured to the can he was still holding. "...is stuck to me. So now if I want to give a double thumbs up, I can't. It sucks and…"

"...cut the brakes on my car. Yeah, I was mad at him, but that was the old Chase. The new, hotter, Chase is…well, he's…he's a lot of things that…I'm sure I could think of if I wasn't so mad at Bowie for…"

"...the soda isn't even that good anyway. Half of them taste like sweat and…"

"...moldy onions! And yes, I had to burn my favorite sweater because of him, but Chase is still…"

"…a greedy capitalist. That's what I am. A…"

"...jerk for eating all the pizza that I paid for. But, it's okay. That's behind us. I-"

"Release the dodgeballs!" Chris' voice sounded out.

Emma blinked and looked up at Zee. "Did you say something?"

They were walking next to the cliffside and from way up top, a bucket full of dodgeballs were dropped down onto them. Emma and Zee screamed and ran off. However, some of the dodgeballs hit them and got stuck.

Confessional (Emma): The top of her head, her arms and her back were now plastered with dodgeballs. "This honestly isn't too bad. Chase once did a prank just like this. Only he dumped batteries instead of dodgeballs." She paused. "None of them actually hit me." She paused again, now starting to consider something. "I-It obviously shows how much he cares about me to…not let me get hit…with batteries."

Static

Nichelle and Axel had arrived at a rickety decrepit wooden bridge, with the river underneath it. Any wrong step would mean a long fall into the water.

Nichelle looked nervous. "This looks…really dangerous. I had something like this on a movie I worked on and I was more than happy to let my stuntman do it."

Axel scoffed. "If they let someone cross it, I'm sure it was safe enough."

"Not my point. That was in a controlled studio with nets underneath and…" She gestured toward the large chasm in front of them. "...I don't see any of those here."

The zombie commando cracked her neck. "You did something like this earlier today. Remember, one foot in front of the other and you'll make it across." With that said, Axel ran forward. She took big jumps with every step, carefully landing her foot on the next piece of wood. Her jumps got higher and higher. Once she reached the halfway point, she did one more big jump and landed gracefully on the other side. She turned around. "There. Now you do it."

Nichelle's jaw was left hanging open and her cheeks were slightly red. She quickly shook the feeling away and looked again at the bridge. "Alright…if you think I can-"

Just then, Chris' voice sounded out. "Hey, campers. The dodgeballs were nice, but I'm sure you're looking for something…a little sweeter. Release the candy."

Before anyone could react, a large trash bag was dropped onto Axel, crushing her. Nichelle gasped. "Axel!" She took another look at the long fall she could potentially take. She took a deep breath. "I can do this. One foot in front of the other." She stepped towards the bridge and stepped onto the first wooden board.

The piece of wood immediately broke and Nichelle was sent plummeting down. "This was a terrible ideeeeeeeeeeeaaa…" She screamed.

The candy pile rumbled for a moment, before Axel popped out of it. She was covered in candy that was now stuck to her body. She grimaced and looked up. Nichelle was gone. Axel then noticed the missing piece on the bridge and quickly figured out what happened.

Axel widened her eyes and ran towards the chasm. She then proceeded to jump off the cliff and dive into the water.

Caleb, Damien, Priya, Lauren and Millie all arrived at a new location. In front of them was a large gathering of chickens.

At the other end of the island, at the beach, Chris and Chef were watching all of this happen on a TV. "Feathery chicken and really sticky campers." The host said. "What a great combination."

Back at the chicken coup, Priya whispered to her team. "Try not to make any sudden movements. These chickens will freak out if they get startled."

"Actually, we should be fine." Damien explained. "Chickens won't do anything more than run away and will only attack if they're nesting or protecting their chicks. Worst case scenario, we'll look like giant birds."

At the top of a cliff, Julia and Bowie watched over them.

"What are we doing?" Bowie questioned. "We already have an advantage, we don't need to be here."

"I'm just trying to guarantee a win for us." Julia explained. "Besides, this'll be fun." With that said, she picked up a nearby garbage can and threw it down towards the five Rat Faces.

It landed behind them, making a loud crash.

The Rat Faces looked back and gasped. Sure enough, as Damien predicted, the chickens were startled. They flapped their wings and squawked loudly. Damien, Lauren, Caleb and Priya all jumped back, but Millie wasn't as lucky. She was engulfed by the frightened birds. Within seconds, her entire body was covered in feathers. She even coughed one out.

"See?" Julia said. "Isn't this fun?"

Confessional (Bowie): "Dang it, it does look like fun."

Static

"But we aren't slowing them down." Last season's runner-up noted. "What now?"

Julia then noticed what was in front of them and smirked. Bowie noticed it too and got the same idea. They both pushed against a large fallen tree and sent it rolling down the hill.

Lauren and Damien heard it and looked back and moved out of the way. But Priya, Caleb and the feather covered Millie didn't see it. It landed onto them and sent all three to the ground.

The chickens, however, were now getting angry and being disturbed twice. They turned their attention to the first person they saw.

Damien.

They approached him, with malicious glares. "What?" He said, backing away. "Why are they doing this? Chickens aren't supposed to be this aggressive."

"I mean, Chris was probably the one who bought them." Lauren suggested.

"Dang it! That makes sense!" Damien shrieked as he bolted away. The chickens gave chase.

"Hang on, Damien!" Lauren called and followed.

The other three Rat Faces were left alone.

"Now what?" Millie said.

"Now…we get moving." Caleb struggled. He pushed himself up, with the tree now stuck to his back. In the process of doing that, he was also lifting up Millie and Priya who were stuck to the sides of the tree as well.

"Oh my, Caleb!" Priya said excitedly. "We can still win this."

"Time to carry my team to victory!"

A bush rustled slightly. Out popped MK, checking to see if anyone was around.

Confessional (MK): "I need to take my time on this one. I may have left a bucket of sap near the finish, but I can't arrive too quickly or be the first one to finish, otherwise people will get suspicious."

Static

MK was still doing surveillance, when a large shadow suddenly crossed over her. Slowly, she looked up. A large bear was behind her, growling.

The hacker sighed. "Dang it. Knowing my luck, it's probably the bear that knocked me into the tube last challenge." Surprisingly, the bear nodded to this. MK grimaced. "Of course…"

Zee and Emma had escaped the dodgeballs and were making their way back to the beach. However, the dodgeballs were still stuck to them.

And they were back to their own separate conversations.

"I mean, I doubt they've ever had a spokesperson who was cursed. Maybe it's me…"

"Bowie has no idea how things are between me and Chase. We're great. Greater than great even. We're…"

"...evil, vile money grabbers who dive into their cash like…"

"...that one time he pranked me by forgetting the wallet and making me pay for dinner…okay, five times, but it's still…"

"...my contract." He gasped. "Maybe signing it is what cursed me. It's like signing your soul…"

"...to the mechanic. And yeah, he did the 'forgetting his wallet at home' but…but i-it…it doesn't matter. Chase is better now and…"

Suddenly, Zee grabbed her by the shoulders, forcing her to face him. He was in a panic. Emma, how do I break curses?!"

"What?"

"How do I break curses?! Do I have to say something? What if I find the contract that I signed and rip it up!?"

"Zee…"

"I don't want to be responsible for hurting anyone!"

"Zee."

"First it was myself, then Damien and Millie. Who will I hurt next?"

"Zee!"

The chillest contestant of all time finally snapped to attention. "Yeah?"

"Why did you grab my shoulders?"

"Oh, right. Sorry." He tried pulling his hands away, but they didn't budge. He kept trying to pull them off, but they remained stuck on Emma's shoulders.

Emma groaned. "Zee. Do you remember what happened at the start of this challenge?"

Zee thought. "We…oh, right. Chris and Chef sprayed us with sticky sap and…" It suddenly dawned on him why they were stuck. "Oh…"

"Yeah." Emma sighed.

Confessional (Zee & Emma): Both were still stuck to each other. "Well, at least this proves I'm not cursed. I didn't try to sell a soda can this time."

"Wait, why do you think you're cursed?" Emma asked.

"I signed a contract with that soda company and I thought it caused me to hurt myself and other people. But, since I didn't do a sponsorship, it proves I'm not cursed." He paused. "In that case, when all this is over, do you want a cool, refreshing can of-"

At that moment they could hear running outside. "Leave me alone!" The voice shouted.

"Was that MK?" Emma asked.

Before Zee could answer, a bear suddenly burst through the side of the outhouse and roared loudly. Zee and Emma screamed.

Static.

A bunny hopped over to a nearby stream. It was suddenly startled when a hand popped out and pulled itself out by grabbing a nearby vine. It was Axel. She grunted and pulled herself out of the water. Something was attached to her other hand.

She struggled to pull it out. It was Nichelle, who's hand was now stuck to Axel's. She coughed as she was dragged to the surface and onto land.

She lay on her knees and caught her breath. "T-Thanks…" She weakly managed.

"Whatever." Axel said, taking in their surroundings. She pointed with her free hand. "The other side of the island should be-" She looked back, then stopped.

Nichelle had gotten up. She had noticed that it looked like they were holding hands.

Axel saw it too and her cheeks glew red again. She tried to distract her. "Umm…W-What are we doing just standing here?! Let's get a move on, already!" With a sudden sense of urgency, she dragged Nichelle behind her.

Bowie and Julia were still making their way towards the end of the challenge. "Are we there yet?" Bowie asked impatiently.

"Should be." Julia responded, reveling in Bowie's worry.

"It better be. I don't want Raj to see me like this-"

"Hey, babe!"

Bowie froze up. Julia smirked.

Raj appeared behind them. He was covered in branches, leaves and even a squirrel was stuck to his shoulder. "Glad I found you. I think we're almost at the end and we…" He trailed off, realizing what was wrong. "Why aren't you guys covered in sap?"

Bowie slowly turned around, trying to hide his look of guilt and failing miserably. "We…uh…we ran into…some…"

Julia stepped forward, holding up the spray can. "Why don't we show him?" He sprayed his shoulder. The sap cracked and disappeared, freeing the squirrel in the process.

"Hey!" Raj said. "That's my friend, Percy. He's-" It then dawned on him. "Wait, where did you get that?"

Before Bowie could answer, Julia spoke first. "Not important, but it will help us make the challenge way easier. Right, Bowie?"

"But…isn't that cheating?" Raj questioned. "And…" He then looked at his boyfriend. "I thought you said…" It broke Bowie's heart to see Raj's look of betrayal. Without another word, Raj ran off, away from them.

"Raj, wait!" Bowie yelled. "I-" But Raj was already out of sight. Bowie sighed, then turned to Julia. His sadness was now replaced with anger. "Why did you do that?! Now, Raj thinks I did this on purpose!"

The influencer just shrugged. "Not my problem. Now you have even more of a reason to stick with me. So, let's get a move on."

"No." Bowie said. "I need to go find my boyfriend." He ran off in the same direction Raj had left.

Julia watched him and simply shrugged.

Raj was still running away. He looked upset and a small tear trickled down his face. He wasn't watching where he was going and ran into something, causing both him and it to fall down.

"Ow!" It yelped. It was Wayne. "What was-" He then noticed it was Raj. Their faces were planted against each other. Raj's hand was attached to Wayne's. The blonde hockey bro also realized who it was. "Oh, hey man. How's it-" He then remembered they were on opposite teams. "Oh, right. What's the big idea?! You trying to-" Wayne then noticed Raj's sad expression. "What's the matter, buddy?"

Caleb was running, hoping to reach the end of the challenge soon. The log holding Priya and the feather covered Millie.

The bookworm was deep in thought. She looked over Priya. She took a deep breath and exhaled. "Hey, Priya?"

Her friend looked over. "What's up?"

Millie took a moment to think of what to say. "I…I wanted to talk to you about something. Maybe this isn't a great time, but I don't think I can just pretend like it's-" At that moment, a low hanging branch smacked into Millie's face. It broke off, but didn't fall. In fact, it attached itself to Millie. The leaves muffled her voice and she could only muffle her discomfort.

"Millie?" Priya asked. She then looked at Caleb and frowned. "You should've been watching where you were going."

"Sorry." Caleb responded.

Confessional (Caleb): "I didn't want to do that, but I can't risk Millie saying something that might take Priya out of the alliance."

Static

"Look, it's fine. It probably wasn't that important." Caleb added.

"Not that important?" Priya spluttered. Caleb immediately regretted his choice of words. "I'll have you know, Millie is the smartest person I've ever met. If she says something, it's probably super important and shouldn't be…"

Priya continued rambling. But with all her talking, it was distracting Caleb from where he was going. He didn't see what was in front of him.

Emma and Zee were slowly moving along in their awkward position, when Caleb ran right into them. They instantly became attached to his chest.

The hunk stopped and looked down at his new carry-ons. He groaned.

Damein rounded a corner and stopped along a cliff. He pressed his back against the wall and held still. He didn't hear anything, so he slowly peaked out.

No sign of any chickens. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Please don't panic, I'm right next to you."

Damien jumped back, turned around and took a defensive pose.

Lauren sighed. "I did try to warn you."

The neurotic contestant calmed down. "Yeah…I guess you did."

"How are we going to find the finish line?" Lauren asked.

Damien looked around. "Well, judging by the placement of the sun and the most logical assumption being that we started on the east most part of the island. I say…" He pointed. "We go this way."

Lauren nodded and the two headed off. Damein still seemed on edge and the former Scary Girl noticed. "What's it going to take to fully trust me?"

"I…don't really know. I guess it's just…I'm kinda wondering what it's going to take to turn you back."

"Well, I think a hit to the head is what caused it. Maybe I-" At that moment, an acorn fell and bumped Lauren right on the head.

Damien saw it and he gasped.

Confessional (Damien): "Oh no. It happened again while we were talking about Scary Girl. Now with a second hit to the head, I'm sure she's back. Well, I'm not going to be her first victim." He considered what he said. "Ok…her first when she returns. Not letting that happen."

Static

The neurotic contestant left in a hurry, leaving behind 'Lauren.'

MK was still being chased by the bear and running away from it. "What was it again?!" She said to herself. "If it's brown, lay down?" She looked back at the angry bear pouncing after her. The hacker turned forward. "Yeah, not taking that chance."

She saw a bush nearby and thought her best chance would be to hide. However, right before she could dive in, she tripped. A long clang was heard. MK emerged a moment later, covered in purple liquid. "You gotta be kidding me?!" She said as she realized what happened. "The one bush I picked and it's the one that I left my sap bucket." Leaves from the bush were already sticking to her.

She was too annoyed that she forgot what she was running from. The bear smirked as it walked behind her.

MK finally remembered and turned around. The bear raised its paw. MK tried to move, but the paw struck her in the back. However, instead of being knocked over, she became attached to it. The bear was confused and tried shaking her off, but she didn't budge. It tried again, more vigorously.

Unsurprisingly, MK was not enjoying being shaken around.

The bear continued shaking and growling in frustration. From another nearby bush, Julia was watching. She smirked and couldn't help but chuckle at her former teammate's predicament. However, a moment later, a thought crossed her mind.

By now, the bear was growing tired. He stopped shaking. MK tried to get her senses back. From the bush closest to them, a hand crept out, holding a spray can. It pressed the cap and pointed toward MK and the bear's claw. Immediately, the sap cracked and dissolved. MK fell to the ground. The bear, now seeing that MK was off of it, decided not to question further, turned around and trudged away.

MK lay on the ground, trying to catch her breath. As her vision cleared, she could see Julia looking down at her. "You're welcome." She said slyly.

The hacker finally realized what happened. She stood up and saw that Julia was holding the de-sapifying can. "W-Wait. You…why did you do that?"

Julia shrugged. "If anything's going to take you out of the competition, I'm going to make sure it's me…again. And now, the way I see, you owe me."

MK scoffed. "And what exactly do I owe you?"

"Don't know." The influencer shrugged again. "I'll tell you when I figure it out."

The hacker glared, but didn't say anything. Instead she ran off.

Julia watched her and smirked. A second later, Bowie appeared behind her. He looked annoyed and defeated. "Well, I can't find Raj. And, at this point…" He let out a loud sigh.

"You need my help to get you covered in sap, right?" Julia asked, reveling in Bowie's discomfort.

Last season's runner-up nodded, though he was still upset.

Julia grinned and reached into a nearby bush and pulled out her sap bucket.

Chris was waiting at the finish line with Chef. A scoreboard was next to them, as well two different color circles on the ground. "Campers should be arriving soon, you think?"

The co-host shrugged.

At that moment, MK appeared. She was still covered in leaves. As soon as she stepped in her team's circles, the Rat Faces score went from 0 to 1.

Confessional (MK): "I know I said I didn't want to look too suspicious, but at this point, it doesn't matter. I already look like I've gone through the entire challenge in sap."

Static

Shortly after, Bowie and Julia showed up. They had the sap back on, but nothing was stuck to them. Bowie looked depressed, but Julia was content. Their score went from 0 to 2.

MK gave a knowing glare to her rival.

Chris pondered. "Nothing got stuck to either of you? I'm surprised."

Bowie and Julia looked nervously at each other. "Well, good job. Let's just hope more of your teammates show up. Spray them down!"

An intern showed up and used the de-sapifying spray on the Skunk Butts.

Julia smiled. "Oh, it feels so good to not have sap on me. So glad I don't have to worry about it anymore." She winked at her former teammate.

MK rolled her eyes.

Wayne and Raj had gotten up and were awkwardly trying to maneuver their way to the end of the challenge.

They were also talking about what Raj had explained.

"...and when I found him, he wasn't covered in sap." Raj sighed. "I don't know what happened, but Julia had a spray can that removed the sap. They were cheating behind my back."

Wayne listened, taking into account how upset his best friend was. "I don't know, dude. Julia and Bowie don't like each other, right?"

"Well, yeah, but…he still-"

"Maybe he didn't want to cheat. I mean, did he look happy? All the bad guys love cheating, so he'd probably be smiling."

Raj thought for a moment. "I guess not."

"Look, dude. I don't like cheating either, but Bowie wouldn't go behind your back like that. If anything, he's probably doing it because he wants to stick around with you for as long as he can."

Raj couldn't help but smile at this.

Confessional (Raj): "I really needed that. Wayne's right. Bowie wouldn't lie to me like that." He sighed. "I really missed Wayne, but I'm so happy we're still able to be friends."

"Aw, thanks man."

It was then that Raj realized he and Wayne were still stuck to each other and were occupying the same confessional.

"I missed you too." Wayne said.

Damien was still running away. He looked back and could see a figure following him. He screamed and went faster. He turned a corner and stopped. He had run right into a stone wall. In other words, a dead end. He turned around, but could hear 'Lauren's' footsteps growing closer. He backed against the wall, closed his eyes and prepared for the worst.

"Why did you run?"

Damien cautiously opened one of his eyes. He could see 'Lauren' standing over him, looking concerned. Damien opened his other eye. "Lauren?"

"Yeah?" The normal girl questioned.

Damien let out a sigh of relief. "Sorry. I thought you reverted back to Scary Girl."

"Well, I mean, it happened once already, who knows how many hits it could take?"

"I guess that's fair, I mean-" Damien suddenly froze, a look of fear developing on his face.

Lauren frowned. "Come on, Damien. You know I'm not…" She then saw that Damien wasn't looking at her. He was staring at something behind her.

She glanced back. Just in front of them was a brown bear. It snarled as it slowly made its way towards them. Damien and Lauren slowly stepped back.

It didn't take long before they hit the wall behind them. Now there was no escape. The bear was closing in on them.

"We're doomed!" Damien wailed. "I knew bears would someday get me."

But Lauren watched on, bravely. She looked at the terrified Damien, then to the bear. She couldn't think of any logical plans to get them out.

So, it was time to tap into something…scary.

She closed her eyes tightly.

The bear licked its lips.

Damien's teeth chattered.

Lauren kept her eyes closed tight in concentration. She could practically feel the bear's breath on her face. It grinned as it was about to make its move.

But then, Lauren opened her eyes.

And formed the biggest, wickedest grin she could muster, as she looked the bear dead in the eyes.

The creature was startled and stumbled backwards. Lauren took a step forward, still holding her creepy smile. The bear whimpered and scrambled to get back up. Lauren took another step, as Damien watched in awe. Finally, the bear got its footing and quickly scampered away.

Once it was out of sight, Lauren dropped her scary act and let out a sigh.

Damien was slack jawed. "That…was…it was…"

"Scary?" Lauren suggested.

"Y-Yeah. H-How…how did you do that?"

"I don't know." She looked at her hands. "I guess since I was Scary Girl before, a part of her still lives in me."

"So…so maybe you can use her powers for good. You can be scary…but in a way that doesn't creep everyone out. Just the people that deserve it."

Lauren thought about that and smiled. "Yeah…yeah, that could-" At that moment, another acorn hit her on the head and she winced.

Damien chuckled. "I think the squirrels have something out for you, huh?"

Silence.

"Y'know, since they already hit you twice."

More silence.

Now Damien was growing worried. "And…nothing happened those two times, right? You were still Lauren."

Again, more silence.

Damien was panicking. "And…third time's the charm. In which case-" He gasped. "In which case it would work and you'd be back to Scary Girl!"

'Lauren' slowly picked her head up, without saying anything.

"Please don't take my skull!"

Lauren then chuckled. "You're right, I think these squirrels do have something out for me."

Damien let out a sigh of relief.

Another acorn hit Lauren in the head. Her neck bent slightly.

Then her face twisted into a wicked smile.

Damien chuckled again. "Yeah, that's a pretty scary face. It's cool that you're going to use it for good from now on."

'Lauren' just kept staring.

Damien felt a chill run down his spine. "Lauren?"

No answer, she kept staring, leaning in closer.

"L-Lauren?" Damien squeaked.

"Lauren's not here anymore." Scary Girl whispered.

Confessional (Damien): "Oh…no."

Static

"Alright, let's…"

"No, we need to go that way."

"But if we do, my team won't get the point."

"But if we don't, my team won't either."

Raj and Wayne, still stuck to each other, had arrived at the finish line. However, because of their predicament, Chris couldn't spray them because as soon as Wayne stepped onto the Rat Faces circle, he gained a point. But now Raj couldn't get to his team, so he had to go to his circle. But as soon as he did that, Wayne lost his point. They had spent the last few minutes, practically ballroom dancing around the beach, trying to figure something out.

Bowie watched on, still feeling guilty.

A minute later, Axel and Nichelle arrived, hand in hand. Axel looked around, nervously. They stepped into their team's circle. Chris sprayed their hands and freed them. Axel quickly pulled away.

Confessional (Axel): She grunted. "Now everyone's going to ask why we were holding hands. I mean, everyone was looking at me when we walked in. They're obviously going to have questions." She paused. "N-Not that I have anything to say about it. It meant nothing obviously." Her glowing red cheeks told a different story.

Static

Despite Axel's claim, everyone was focusing on Raj and Wayne. They were now standing between both circles and stretching their legs out, as best they could, to touch their respective teams' circles. They struggled and reached. Finally, Raj's foot touched his circle, while the tip of Wayne's foot touched his. Chris thought that was good enough and freed them, also earning both teams a point.

"Two minutes remain." The host said. "And things aren't looking good for the Rat Faces."

"Wait, here comes Damien!" Wayne pointed.

Everyone looked and, sure enough, Damien was heading towards them. Only, he looked absolutely terrified. He stepped onto his team's circle and stopped.

"Hey, good job getting here man." Wayne said, as Chris sprayed him down.

Damien tried to catch his breath. "We…need…to get…out of here."

"Why?" MK asked. "We're not out yet."

"Yeah." Wayne added. "Besides, I see Lauren heading here."

Damien's head shot up. He jumped towards Wayne and ducked behind him. "That's not Lauren."

"Of course it is." Wayne said, looking at her. "Just look at the way she's skipping towards us."

MK was starting to catch onto what Damien was saying. "And her…smile."

"Yeah, that too." Wayne said cluelessly. "Her traditional smile."

Nichelle was also starting to understand. "And didn't she smile when she was…"

Scary Girl's eyes suddenly lit up and, somehow, her sinister smirk widened.

"Oh…no." Everyone said.

"Yeah, that's what I said." Damien added.

Caleb was making steady progress while still carrying Millie and Priya, though he was starting to feel winded.

"Keep it up, Caleb." Priya said. "We're almost there."

"I hope you're right." Caleb panted.

"Wow." Emma blushed, attached to the hunk's chest. "You're really…" She quickly snapped from her trance. "Wait, I have a boyfriend. I definitely don't enjoy being…pressed against your…rock hard abs and…glorious pecs." She struggled to find the words. "I have a boyfriend!"

He rounded a corner.

"I can see the finish." Priya cried. She then looked. "And it looks like most of our team is already there. If we can cross, we might win this. Look, Lauren's already there too."

Despite most of her vision being covered by the branch, Millie narrowed her eyes. They then went wide and she said something, but it was muffled from the leaves.

Zee, however, somehow heard her. He too narrowed his eyes and gasped. "Guys, Millie's right. Why does everyone look so freaked out?"

They came nearer and nearer.

"Lauren, why haven't you-" Priya was about to say.

Scary Girl's head suddenly twisted around, but her body remained facing the other way. She had that same wicked grin.

"Wow!" Caleb cried and tried to stop himself from running into her. He did too good of a job. He couldn't stop his momentum and ended up falling backwards. And because of his awkward position, he wasn't able to get back up.

"Thirty seconds left." The host called.

"Chris!" Priya screamed. "I think we have bigger issues." As Scary Girl walked towards them.

The host just shrugged. "As long as the ratings don't take a hit, we'll live."

"We won't!" Emma yelped.

"Yeah," Chef added. "Those kids are gonna die."

The three Rat Faces and two Skunk Butts gulped as Scary Girl closed in on them.

"It's good to be back, isn't it?" She said darkly.

"Hey!"

Scary Girl turned.

"You…you leave them alone!" Damien yelled.

Scary Girl smirked. "Oh, is little frightened Damien telling me what to do?"

"Y-Yeah. I am! I'm not scared of you."

Scary Girl's expression changed to confusion. "You...aren't?

"Not anymore!"

Confessional (Damien): "For the record, I was absolutely terrified. I don't know what got into me. But…I needed to save them."

Static

With Scary Girl's confused state, Damien ran over to help his team out.

"Wait, Damien!" Priya yelled. "You might get us disqualified."
"Don't care." Damien grabbed Caleb's shoulders and pulled him up. He struggled, but managed to get Caleb upright.

"Thanks, Damien." The hunk said.

"Alright, let's move before-" Priya was cut off by the sound of a loud buzzer.

"And that's time!" Chris said. "And with Skunk Butts having five of their teammates in the circle and the Rat Faces only having two, it's pretty obvious who wins."

Julia pumped her fist in celebration, while Bowie seemed dejected. Caleb and his teammates exhaled in defeat. Scary Girl still looked confused.

After a minute, Chris helped spray some of the contestants.

Bowie had made some good distance from him before he decided to run up to his boyfriend. "Raj, I'm so sorry about what happened. I swear, I did not think that Julia would cheat like that…ok, I probably should've figured that out. But you have to understand, I wouldn't-"

Raj put a hand on Bowie's shoulder. He gave a small smile. "Hey, it's alright. I believe you. And look, I understand you're just trying to stay in the game, but…it's still cheating."

"I know. And I won't let it happen again." He took Raj's hand. "I promise."

The hockey bro couldn't help but blush. "Thanks, Bowie. But you know I can't kiss you, right?"

Bowie grunted. "I was hoping you forgot about that. Can we hug at least?"

Raj thought for a moment, then shrugged. He then pulled Bowie into a tight hug that caused the flamboyant contestant to let out a yelp of pain. He quickly put those negative thoughts aside, when he saw how happy his boyfriend was.

That night, it was, once again, time for the elimination ceremony. Some of the Rat Faces were sitting on their stumps, as Chris held out a plate of marshmallows.

"Welcome back, Rat Faces." Chris said. "And I mean that in two ways for one of you." He gestured towards the, surprisingly, bored looking Scary Girl.

"Um, Chris." Priya said. "Do you think you can help us off this thing?"

She was referring to the fact that Caleb still had a log stuck to his shoulders, with herself and Mille attached to it.

"Hmmm…" Chris said. "I could, but I used up the last of the spray on Zee and Emma."

"So that can you're holding is also empty?" Caleb asked.

Chris looked down, noticing he was holding another spray in his free hand. He quickly tossed it away. "Trust me, it's empty."

Caleb, Priya and Millie sighed.

Chef began. "Caleb-"

"Hold on, Chef." Chris put his hand up. "I don't really think we need the rundown this time. I think it's pretty obvious who's going home." He turned his attention to the Rat Faces. "Campers, look around and remember where everyone is sitting." The Rat Faces were confused, but did so. "Now, close your eyes and point at who you're voting for."

The eliminated team did so and all fingers pointed toward the same person.

Scary Girl.

And, surprisingly, she was doing the same.

Chris was confused. "Scary Girl? You're voting for yourself?"

The psychotic smiler opened her eyes and sighed. "Damien isn't scared of me anymore, so I don't really see the point in sticking around anymore." She stood up. "A million dollars honestly isn't worth it."

Chris and Chef stayed silent for a moment. "Alright, well…if that's how you feel, then…I guess you're eliminated." Chris said.

Scary Girl nodded, then started walking away. But not before walking up to Damien. The neurotic contestant struggled to hold a brave face. The now eliminated contestant bent forward, so her face was right next to his. She whispered. "Some day, I will find someone who screams almost as wonderfully as you did. Farewell." She stood back up and walked towards the dock, leaving behind a bunch of unnerved contestants.

Soon, Scary Girl was standing on the dock, with Chris next to her. The drone of despair soon arrived and she gladly took hold of its claw and was carried away, smiling gleefully into the night.

"You know." Chris said. "She's right. Damien does have a weirdly satisfying scream." He turned to the camera. "Maybe we can make him do it again, along with everyone else, next time, here…on Total…Drama…Island!"

Scary Girl is what I like to call a gimmick character done right. She feels out of place in a Total Drama setting, but is still a fun character. The writers, animators and Katie Griffin (her VA) are clearly having a ball with what they can do with her. But, at the same time, she never sticks around long enough for her character to become boring. So that's what I wanted to do with her. Initially I debated her going 1st or 2nd, but I think her going 3rd was the right call.

Like this chapter, I'm not sure how long it will take for me to get out to you. My laptop is on the fritz and I might have to get a new one. Either way, I'll get it out when I can.

Let me know what y'all thought of this chapter and please don't be afraid to leave a review. See ya in the next one.
