Episode 7: Food for Thoughtless

The camera focuses on Chris at the end of the Dock of Shame. "Last time on Total Drama Island." The scene cuts to flashbacks of the previous episode. "After Mandy unceremoniously got Elliott kicked off the show, everyone was a bit…peeved, shall we say? This then turned into the whole island agreeing to try and stop her from getting any more Invincibility Statues. Seriously, how does someone even manage to make every other camper hate you that much? And because I love it when people hate each other, I made the whole next challenge be about hating another member of their team. And to add fuel to the fire, the reward was an Invincibility Statue, that I think I broke the rules on who to give it to. Oh well. Everyone had to stop either Mandy, Jake, or Lincoln from getting hurt while they did some pretty dangerous stuff. Unfortunately, Jenny gave Lincoln some nasty rope burn, which they tried to hide from me, while Arnold completed the task on Lincoln's behalf, getting his team disqualified. Because he cost his team the game, it was Arnold who took the Boat of Losers home."

The scene cuts back to Chris on the Dock. "It's another day, and we've got another brutal challenge for our contestants. How brutal, you may be asking yourself? You'll have to find out, right here, right now, on Total. Drama. Island."

Intro songs plays.

The contestants sat around the Mess Hall eating what some would describe as breakfast, some as wet cardboard. "Okay guys, what's the plan for today?" asked Jake, lying back at the end of the table.

"Same as always," said Luz. "Win."

"Okay, and how do we plan to do so?" asked Jake.

"Depends on the challenge," said Kevin. "But I'm sure we can do it, no matter what. Right guys?"

"Absolutely," said Dipper. "Nothing can stand in our way if we work together."

"Except her," said Mikey, nodding in the direction of Mandy, who had a scowl on her face.

"Eh, we can handle her," Kim dismissively. "She is so not a threat."

"No matter what, we've got this," said Kevin, raising his glass of whatever Chef was serving that morning. "Go Team Power Mouse."

"Go Team Power Mouse," cheered the rest of the team, before taking a swig of their glasses…then spitting them out.

"Ugh, what is this? Mop water?" asked Luz, trying to scrape the taste out of her mouth.

Confession Cam: Chef

"Hey, I push the mess over the mess, the mess disappears. Therefore, the mop should be clean, right?"

Meanwhile…

"I hate that Lincoln kid," said Mandy between gritted teeth.

"Is it because he got the Invincibility Statue?" asked Jessica.

"No, it's because he's on an enemy team," said Mandy sarcastically. "Of course it's because he got the statue."

"Oh well, you can't win them all," said Ben in a somewhat mocking tone.

"Take that back," snapped Mandy.

"Or what?" asked Ben, acting unafraid.

Mandy grabbed the front of Ben's shirt and leaned in close to his face. "Take. It. Back," she said, flames seeming to appear behind her. In response, Ben hit his watch and turned into Arctiguana, immediately extinguishing the flames behind her.

"Hey, hey, watch it, this food is lukewarm as it is," said Buttercup. "No need to make it any colder."

"Proximity to ice isn't going to make your food any colder," said Dexter.

"Watch it, smart guy," snapped Buttercup.

"And again I ask why we all just can't get along," said Steven.

"Probably because Mandy's here," said Tulip.

"Ah, right, that'd do it," said Steven.

"Anyway, it doesn't matter right now, because I'll definitely get the rest of the Immunity Statues," said Mandy.

"You know that the rest of us are actively working against you doing that, right?" asked Tulip. "And that includes the other teams. Right guys?" The other members of the team agreed enthusiastically, except for one who seemed non-committal but went unnoticed.

Confession Cam: Buttercup

"Look, something Mandy said during the last challenge, it stuck with me. She has a point: the ones with no real power haven't got a chance. Better to get rid of them so they don't get hurt. I mean, I don't like Mandy, but she has a point."

"It doesn't matter what you guys do, I'll win it one way or another," said Mandy. "Just you watch."

"Fat chance," said Ben, back in his human form.

Meanwhile…

"So yeah, it's pretty great having an Invincibility Statue in case things go wrong," said Lincoln, waving it around at the table. "But obviously I won't need it, because…"

"Oh, will you SHUT UP?!" snapped Korra. "We get it, you can't go out next time we vote for you. I might just do it just so you have to get rid of it."

"Be careful, it could be you that gets eliminated instead," said Lincoln.

"Not if I get my own Statue," said Korra.

"They're gonna be like this all day, aren't they?" asked Annie.

"They've been like this for the last three days," said Danny.

"Actually, they've been like this for the last twelve days," said Jenny. "They've just been arguing about the Statue for the last three."

"Hopefully they settle down before the challenge," said Eliza.

"Pfft, like that'll happen," said Danny.

"Speaking of which, Danny, put your tray in front of your face," said Jenny.

"Huh?" said Danny. "You mean like this?" Danny lifted his tray so his face was blocked from the table. "Why would you…" Suddenly, there was food splattered on the tray.

"Days of analysing these two lead me to believe today tensions would bubble over into a food fight," said Jenny, already holding her tray up. "I would advise the two of you to do the same as us."

"Way ahead of you," said Eliza, as her and Annie starting blocking Lincoln and Korra's food fight.

"Campers," came Chris's voice over the loudspeaker. "Today's challenge will start in five minutes, I'll be in the Mess Hall shortly to explain what it is."

"Great, five more minutes of this," said Danny, still holding up his tray.

"On the plus side, they've nearly used up all their food," said Jenny.

"Probably not a bad thing, the other campers aren't looking too happy about them fighting," said Annie. "Or clean, or that matter." The rest of the team looked up to see the members of Teams Power Mouse and Checkmate glaring at them from across the Mess Hall.

"Uh, guys?" said Eliza, trying to get Lincoln and Korra's attention. "Guys? You might wanna stop that now."

"Why?" snapped Lincoln and Korra at the same time, before noticing the mess they'd created. "Oh…"

"You're going down," said Mandy, wiping some of the sludge off her face.

"For once, I agree with you," said Ben.

Confession Cam: Lincoln

"Oops…"

Later…

"Okay campers…" said Chris, walking into the Mess Hall, before pausing and looking around. "Hey, where are the other teams? And why is it messier than usual in here?"

"Getting cleaned up, and those two," said Eliza, pointing at a sheepish looking Lincoln and Korra.

"Ugh. I was hoping to get this challenge done quicker than this. I have a hair appointment after this," said Chris.

"Couldn't you schedule that on a day when we didn't have a challenge?" asked Jenny.

"Hey, when your hair is as sexy as mine, you take care of it as immediately as possible," said Chris. "Now, where are they?"

"Coming," said Kim, leading the members of her team in, shortly followed by Team Checkmate too, all looking more wet than before.

"Excellent, let's get on with the challenge then," said Chris. "It's time for a cooking challenge, and Chef has ever so kindly agreed to let us use his kitchen."

"I didn't agree to anything," called Chef from the kitchen.

"We said we'd double your paycheck for the week," said Chris.

"Yeah, and then said you wouldn't pay me at all next week," said Chef.

"Yeah, because we gave you two weeks pay already," said Chris. Chef responded by grumbling something that sounded very nasty.

"Okay, what are we cooking?" asked Jake.

"That depends on what you find on the island," said Chris.

"So, what, like berries and nuts from some of the plants?" asked Tulip.

"Maybe some fish if you can catch them," said Korra.

"Ooh, this is my kind of challenge," said Eliza.

"Not necessarily," said Chris. "We've hidden food around the island that can be used for your dishes, which will be judged by myself and Chef."

"So if you poison either of us, that's an automatic elimination," said Chef, coming out of the kitchen to join Chris.

"Well how are we supposed to know what you like and don't like?" asked Steven. "What if we have a great dish, but there's nothing you like on it?"

"I'm not that picky of an eater," said Chris. "And I'm willing to reward effort in this challenge. If you try it for a change, you might get somewhere. I mean, as long as you don't use *shudders* lettuce."

"…Lettuce?" asked Jessica.

"DON'T EVEN SAY THE NAME!" yelled Chris, before composing himself. "Yes, lettuce. It's gross, slimy, disgusting, and horrible."

"Lettuce is the thing you hate?" asked Dipper.

"Yeah, I don't get this hatred either," said Chef. "I mean, it's basically just water in plant form."

"LIAR!" yelled Chris, then composed himself again. "Anyway, the food is hidden around the island in boxes, some of which were sealed to protect it from the wildlife. Once you've found everything you want, come back here, cook something up, and present it as best you can. No bonus for finishing fast, just doing the best."

"Is that why you gave us this map of the island with dots all over it after winning the last challenge?" asked Kevin, holding up said map.

"Indeed it is," said Chris.

"Wait, there are actual USEFUL prizes?" asked Korra. "I thought you just handed out pointless crap."

"Indeed I do," said Chris. "Will today's also be useful? Guess you'll have to find out when you win. You have ninety minutes to find your dish's ingredients. Time starts…" Chris pulled out his airhorn and gave it a short blast. "Now."

The teams scrambled out the door to begin the challenge. "Okay, here's what we do," said Kevin to his teammates. "We each take half the map, therefore half the island." In response, Kevin ripped the map in two, and handed the other half to Jake. "I've got the half with the way back here on it, Jake, you can navigate by turning into a dragon and figuring out the way back."

"Got it," said Jake.

"Great. Me, Kim, and Mikey will be one team, leaving you, Dipper, and Luz as the other team," said Kevin.

"Aww man, two girls on the team, and I get the one that isn't interested in guys," pouted Jake as they set off.

"I never said I'm not interested in guys," said Luz. "Just not interested in you."

"Wait, so that means…" started Jake.

"Bisexual, not lesbian, yes," said Luz.

"So you're telling me there's a chance…" said Jake.

"No, not even close," said Luz.

"Guys, challenge, focus," said Dipper.

Meanwhile…

"Okay team, I don't like you and you don't like me…" started Mandy.

"Maybe if you were a little nicer…" started Steven, causing Mandy start retching.

"Stop saying that word," snapped Mandy, shutting Steven up. "Now, if we follow Team Power Mouse, we might be able to snag a few of their things before they can."

"Great, they've split up," said Jessica. "Who's on what team?"

"I don't care, just go," said Mandy, running after Kevin's team.

Most of the rest of Team Checkmate shrugged, before following where Jake's team had disappeared. "Aren't you coming Buttercup?" asked Jessica.

"I…might go with Mandy," said Buttercup. "Give her some backup, you know?"

"Huh…okay," said Jessica, about to follow everyone else, before pausing. "Actually…" Jessica then turned around, and followed where Mandy and Buttercup had vanished.

Meanwhile…

"Are we going to follow them too?" asked Danny.

"Probably the most efficient way of doing things," said Jenny. "Either that, or this." Jenny flew up several feet, and immediately began scanning the island. "Okay, I've located the five closest boxes of food. Let's split up, grab them, and get back to the kitchen."

"You want us to go first?" asked Lincoln.

"My sources indicate that Chris has not yet eaten today," said Jenny. "If we make him a delicious meal right off the bat, we're almost guaranteed to win."

"Sounds good to me," said Korra. "Where are we going?"

Jenny quickly scratched a detailed map into the ground, marking some spots on here. "The Xs are the boxes," she said. "One of us will have to partner up with someone…"

"Me and Annie," said Eliza, putting her arm around Annie.

"I figured as much," said Jenny. "Everyone, pick a box, and get to work."

"Got it," said Danny, going ghost and flying off.

"Good luck everyone," said Korra, picking another one and flying away on a ball of wind.

"See you soon," said Jenny, booster rockets coming out of her back as she took off.

"Pony, take us to this spot," said Annie, as Pony picked up her and Eliza.

"…I guess I'll just get going then," said Lincoln, walking off after everyone else made cool exits.

Meanwhile…

"We're nearly there," said Annie, as they rid through the woods. "We just need to…"

"Hey, is that a big footprint?" asked Pony, coming to a dead stop.

"Pony, we're in the middle of a…" started Annie.

"No, look, he's right," said Eliza, jumping off Pony's back. "It kinda looks like…"

"A sasquatch print?" asked Pony.

"Exactly," said Eliza. "We should…"

"Uh, guys? The challenge?" said Annie.

"This should only take a second," said Eliza. "Plus, you said the sasquatch cave's entrance was around here somewhere, right? The food box isn't that far away. All we have to do is check it out, get the food, and head back. We're an extra two minutes, tops, and just tell everyone Chris booby trapped it or something. It's not like that's too unbelievable, right?"

Meanwhile…

"Am I that predictable?" asked Chris, watching the monitors.

"Of course not," said Chef, watching as, on one monitor, Mandy casually picked up a stick and stuck it in front of her, setting off a beartrap that had been invisible up until that moment. Mandy didn't even seem shocked at what happened.

Meanwhile…

"Here we go," said Kevin, finding the box. "Should we open it now, or wait until we're back at the kitchen?"

"How about you just hand it over now?" asked Mandy, blocking their retreat.

"Oh yeah? You and whose army?" asked Kim. In answer to her question, a green blur flew straight at her, grabbing her off the ground.

"Who needs an army when they have me?" asked Buttercup, holding Kim well off the ground by her hair.

"Oh, do you think this is my first time fighting a black haired superpowered girl who wears green?" asked Kim, managing to land a blow on Buttercup's side, causing her to let go. Kim landed with a roll, watching Buttercup warily.

"Oh, that's how you want to play, huh?" asked Buttercup, flying at her again. Kim dodged to the side, but Buttercup was back on her in a flash. The two continued fighting as the others continued fighting over the box of food.

"You'll hand that over to me willingly, or else," said Mandy.

"Yeah, not happening," said Kevin, trying to retreat. "Nothing you can do will…"

"HIYA!" yelled Jessica, jumping onto Kevin's back. "Now I've got you."

"Do you though?" asked Mikey, casually lifting her off of him. "Why are you even helping Mandy anyway? Isn't she a little mean?"

"Let…go…of…me…" said Jessica, wriggling free of his grip. "Mandy, retreat."

"Are you kidding?" snapped Mandy. "You can't just give up because…"

"Just trust me, okay?" said Jessica, winking as she ran past Mandy.

Mandy sighed in frustration. "It's hard to get good help these days," she muttered. "Okay, fine. Buttercup, come back."

"But I've got her right where I want her," complained Buttercup.

"Now, Buttercup," said Mandy, in a commanding tone.

Buttercup let out a sound of disgust as she let Kim go. "This isn't over," she said, following her teammates.

"This had better be good, Jessica," said Mandy, clearly annoyed.

"I think it is," said Jessica, pulling out a scrap of paper and unfurling it.

"Wait, is that…" started Buttercup.

"Oh, this does bring a smile to my face," said Mandy, who wasn't smiling.

Meanwhile…

"Okay, I don't know what just happened, but we got Mandy to back off," said Kevin. "Maybe she's not as much of a threat as we thought."

"That's good to hear," said Mikey. "So, where to next?"

"Well, let's have a look, shall we?" said Kevin, reaching into his pocket. "According to the…map…uh oh…"

"What uh oh?" asked Kim.

"The map," said Kevin. "I can't find the…oh, that little..."

"What?" asked Mikey.

"That's why Jessica retreated so easily, she grabbed the map," said Kevin. "Quick, after them." Kevin immediately set off in the direction he saw Mandy's team run off in.

Kim sighed to herself. "Great, I get to fight Buttercup again," she said, before following him with Mikey.

Meanwhile…

"Okay, the map says there's a bunch of them in this area," said Luz, looking at the map in Dipper's hands. "So, if we split up, we should be able to find them more easily, then we can head back."

"Sounds good to me," said Dipper, checking the map. "The only problem will be if he's put them up high, or buried them, or something."

"And if there is any risk, we'll work together to get it," said Jake. "Isn't that right, besties? Because we're a team?"

"You're still trying to get on my good side, aren't you?" asked Luz.

"Is it working?" asked Jake.

"It depends how you mean," said Luz. "In the way you want? No. In a way that makes me like you as a teammate, yes."

"Well, it's a start," said Jake. "Where are we looking?"

"Well, there's that one I can see hanging from that branch up there," said Dipper, pointing into a nearby tree.

"On it," said Jake, changing into a dragon and flying up.

"Okay, the next should be about…" started Dipper, walking a few paces before tripping over something. "OW! Oh, hey, here it is." Dipper handed the map to Luz and began unearthing the rest of the box.

"That leaves me to get…" started Luz, looking for another nearby box. "Oh, hey, it's just sitting on that rock."

"Careful Luz," said Dipper. "If it's that easy, it's probably booby trapped."

"You're right," said Luz. "Maybe I should try and set it off with something before I…"

"Hey guys, look, a box," said Steven, running into the clearing.

"Is it going to be safe to grab it?" asked Dexter.

"Let's see," said Steven, grabbing it. "Yep, looks like it."

"Excellent, let's go," said Tulip, leading the group away.

"See you guys," said Ben, waving to the members of Team Power Mouse as they left.

"…okay, maybe it was safe," said Luz.

"Never mind, there's plenty more in this area," said Dipper. "All we have to do is follow the map, and…"

"Oh, that reminds us," said Ben, turning around with his team. "Give us the map."

"You'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands," said Dipper, stepping up in front of Ben.

"Really? You're saying this to the guy with a watch full of aliens who could do just that?" asked Ben, starting to flick through the Omnitrix to pick out the perfect alien.

"Uh, Dipper? Might wanna leave this to us," said Jake, stepping ahead of him with Luz. "The ones with actual powers."

"Hey, I could do something too," said Dipper.

"Actually, you can," said Luz, handing him a piece of paper.

"Wait, really?" asked Dipper.

"Yeah," said Luz. "If things go badly for us, grab the boxes, hold your breath, tap the glyph, and run as far and fast as you can. Trust me, they won't see you."

"You just want me to run away?" asked Dipper.

"We have to think about the team," said Luz. "And we just need to stall him."

"Make that them," said Steven. "Though I wish you'd just hand it over, keep things peaceful."

"We need that to win," said Jake.

"So do we," said Ben, about to slam his hand down on an alien.

"You're all being ridiculous," said Dexter. "We don't even know what's in these boxes, or whether their contents will work together in a dish, and you're prepared to fight each other over them?"

"Oh good, someone telling us not to fight," said Steven, relaxing his stance.

"I never said that," said Dexter. "Just that your reasons for fighting were dumb."

"Ah, jeez," said Steven, getting ready to fight again.

"No, Dexter's right," said Tulip, stepping between them. "I mean, do you even know what your team's making yet, and if you've got the right stuff to make it?"

"…I mean, not so much," said Jake.

"I think we were just gonna make it up when we got back," said Luz.

"So how about this instead," said Tulip. "We all grab some boxes, see what's in them, trade what we don't want with each other, and then leave peacefully. Deal?"

"Please say yes, I don't want to fight if I don't have to," said Steven.

"Hmm…okay," said Dipper, shaking Tulip's hand. "Though I still want to see what Luz's glyph does…"

"Maybe next time, buddy," said Luz, as the two teams began looking for more boxes.

Meanwhile…

"Eliza, Pony, I think we need to go back," said Annie, getting nervous.

"We're fine," said Pony. "We've got Eliza to guide us, and she knows what she's doing. Isn't that right Eliza?"

"Absolutely," said Eliza. "I know the exit is back in that direction somewhere, and that if we head roughly in this direction, we should be able to find the sasquatch nest I found you in the other day."

"We also got lost in these tunnels," said Annie. "Didn't we Pony?"

"Yeah, but here's the thing," said Pony. "Confuse me once, shame on you. Confuse me twice, shame on me. And I think this cave is so ashamed of fooling me once that it won't do that again. Right cave?"

"Pony, I don't think the cave can hear you," said Annie.

"What about the spirit of the cave?" asked Pony.

"What spirit of the cave?" asked Eliza.

"You know, that guy," said Pony, pointing out the figure standing in front of them.

"Pony, that's not a spirit, that's a…" started Annie.

"SASQUATCH!" yelled Eliza. "Holy *beep*, not only is it real, but it's standing right in front of us."

"And it seems to be growling a bit," said Pony. "Is it meant to do that?"

"It seems a little agitated, but it'll be fine," said Eliza, walking up to it. "Leave it to me, I'll deal with it." Eliza walked towards the sasquatch confidently. "Hello, Mr. Sasquatch."

"MISTER?!" yelled the sasquatch. "I'm a woman, thank you very much."

"Oh, uh, sorry," said Eliza, backing up a little. "Boy, sure is a nice cozy little place you have here."

"Yes. My place," said the sasquatch. "Which means no-one else should be here."

"Oh, uh, my apologies," said Eliza, realising this was going badly. "We were just curious about you, and…"

"What part of GET OUT wasn't clear?!" snapped the sasquatch, charging at them.

"Uh, I'm guessing that's bad?" asked Annie.

"Maybe he just wants to give us a hug?" suggested Pony.

"She doesn't," said Eliza, jumping onto Pony's back. "RUN!"

"Where?" asked Pony, who hadn't started moving.

"ANYWHERE!" yelled Eliza. Pony took off at a run just before the sasquatch could grab them.

"Does anyone even know the way out?" asked Annie.

"We're about to find out," said Pony, running straight at a wall.

"Uh, Pony?" said Annie. "Pony? PONY!"

"What?" asked Pony, as he charged through the wall without noticing.

"…never mind, just keep going," said Annie, as he kept keeping going in a straight line.

"Be careful," said Eliza. "If you keep charging through walls like this, you're gonna cause a…" Before Eliza could finish speaking, there was a loud rumbling sound.

"Cause a what Eliza?" asked Pony.

"CAVE-IN!" screamed Eliza. "KEEP RUNNING, GET US OUT OF HERE!"

"I just did," said Pony, who had just stopped outside a Pony-shaped hole on the side of the cliff.

"Oh…maybe it wasn't as bad as I…" started Eliza, as a large amount of rock came crashing down, blocking off the Pony-shaped hole, and the actual entrance that was only ten feet away. "Oh…that's bad."

"What do you mean that's bad?" asked Annie. "He, or she, or whatever it was, was trying to kill us."

"Yeah, but…if that was the last sasquatch…" said Eliza, a tear in her eye. "Did I just…wipe out a species?"

"Eliza…" started Annie, as Eliza started digging through the rubble, as if she could find the remains of the creature.

"Just…" started Eliza, as she picked up an odd shaped rock. Eliza started at it a moment, before sighing and pocketing it. "I guess there's nothing for it. Let's just go do the challenge."

"I found the box," said Pony, running up with the box.

"I'm sorry Eliza," said Annie, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "If there's anything I can do…"

"Thanks Annie," said Eliza. "But for now, let's just finish the challenge."

Meanwhile…

"There they are," said Kevin, pointing out Mandy's group. "Come on guys, let's go get the map."

"Here, you can have the map back," said Jessica, handing them the map back as she and her team casually walked past them.

"…well, that was easy," said Mikey.

"Wait, why?" asked Kim suspiciously.

"Oh, we got most of the boxes of food," said Jessica, indicating Mandy and Buttercup's piled up arms.

"…yeah, that would explain it," said Kevin. "Of course, with you so loaded up with stuff, you won't be able to stop us taking…"

"Try it, I dare you," said Buttercup. "I'm more than willing to destroy everything I'm holding, so neither of us get it."

"Please call that Plan B," said Mandy. "Though it is a good idea. Come you two, we have a challenge to win." The three girls continued down towards the Mess Hall, leaving Kevin, Kim, and Mikey in silence.

"Now what do we do?" asked Mikey.

"We have two options," said Kevin. "One, we go back now, and hope everyone else managed to find some good stuff that we can work with."

"And option two?" asked Kim.

"There's one box that I doubt they went for," said Kevin, showing them the map. "But it's a long way off."

"How long?" asked Kim.

"Here, on this bit marked 'Boney Island'," said Kevin.

"That name doesn't sound ominous or anything," said Kim.

"Have we got enough time to get there and back?" asked Mikey.

"If we rush," said Kevin. "Come on, to the canoes."

Meanwhile…

"Where have you guys been?" asked Korra. "Team Checkmate are already working out their meal plan."

"We, uh, got sidetracked," said Annie. "But we got a box."

"What do you mean sidetracked?" asked Korra. "It was just a case of getting a box and coming back."

"Leave them alone Korra, they got something didn't they?" asked Danny. "Come on, let's figure out what we're making."

Korra sighed. "Okay, fine," she said. "We can still get our food done first if we rush."

"No need," said Jenny. "Checkmate have so much stuff that they're stuck arguing what stuff they actually need."

"I keep telling you: if we're using the venison, we don't need the tartar sauce," said Tulip, while her team were picking out ingredients.

"Well how am I supposed to know that? I'm only 7," said Jessica.

"Look, just grab the meat, boil some vegetables, and we're done," said Buttercup.

"It takes a while to boil vegetables," said Dexter.

"Leave that to me," said Buttercup, eyes glowing red for a moment.

"Okay, next we need to…" started Steven.

"Get them out of our kitchen," said Mandy, noting that Team Golden Lion were already hard at work.

"I don't think we should do that," said Jessica.

"Why not?" asked Mandy.

"Look," said Jessica, pointing out one of the ingredients Team Golden Lion were using.

"Oh…oh…" said Mandy. "This amuses me."

"So we have nothing to worry about?" asked Buttercup.

"Nope, let's leave them to their misery," said Mandy, as the rest of the team watched this exchange.

Confession Cam: Tulip

"Are Jessica and Buttercup working with Mandy? I mean, I guess Jessica being a kid makes sense, maybe she doesn't know any better. But Buttercup? She's a superhero. She knows Mandy is evil. She should know better. We could be in trouble."

"Where are the others?" asked Luz, arriving with the rest of her team.

"I don't know, but they've only got three minutes left," said Dipper.

"I do know, but I'm not telling," said Chris.

"Lot of help you are," said Jake. "Look, what if we just get started, and…"

"Nope, this has to be a full team task," said Chris. "If they don't get here in the next two minutes, you're gone."

"Come on guys…" said Dipper, looking around anxiously.

"One minute," announced Chris.

"Where are they?" asked Jake.

"Forty-five seconds," said Chris.

"Do you think something happened to them?" asked Luz.

"Thirty seconds," said Chris.

"Will you stop doing that?" snapped Dipper.

"It adds to the suspense," said Chris. "Speaking of which, fifteen seconds."

"Wait, I think I see them," said Jake, pointing towards the lake, where Kevin, Kim, and Mikey were running towards them, clothes torn but otherwise fine.

"Ten," said Chris.

"It is them," said Luz. "HURRY GUYS, WE ONLY HAVE…"

"Five seconds," said Chris.

"…yeah, that," said Luz, as Kevin, Kim, and Mikey dived for the finish line.

"Ooh, just barely didn't make," said Chris, showing them a clock that had already ticked down to zero. "Which means that Team Power Mouse is disqualified…"

"…NO!" yelled Kevin.

"…is what I'd be saying if you hadn't gone to Boney Island," said Chris. "You're still in the game."

"…wait, what?" asked Kim.

"Oh, well, you see," said Chris. "The box from Boney Island is a rare Himalayan Honey Sauce, and my personal favourite food ingredient of all time. I decided that if anyone went for that one, they'd get an extra six hour to collect their ingredients, and since you did so, you're still in the running to win."

"But…all the other food boxes have been taken," said Kevin. "We don't need those six hours to collect food."

"Well then get in the kitchen," said Chris. "I just undisqualified your team, what more do you want?"

"…okay then, let's get to work then," said Kevin. "What did you guys get, and does it go with honey sauce?"

"Well, it'll have to," said Dipper, showing him their haul. "We got some white chocolate, rice paper, almond butter, and a turkey."

"…right," said Kevin. "…right. I might be able to work with this."

"…how?" asked Luz.

"I don't know yet," said Kevin. "Let's get to work."

Meanwhile…

"Chris, Chef, we present to you…your dinner," said Mandy, placing a platter in front of each of them.

"Actually, it's only about twelve thirty, so this is lunch," said Chef.

"Just shut up and eat," said Mandy, uncovering their plates. "Venison, with boiled vegetables. Enjoy, or else."

"Hmm…" said Chris, taking a bite of the meal. "Perfectly palatable."

"Definitely," said Chef, also eating some of his. "Boring, but edible. I'll give this a 6.5."

"I'm willing to give it a 7," said Chris. "Total score of 13.5. An okay start, but let's see who's next."

"That would be us," said Kevin, walking forward with his team's tray. "I present to you: Himalayan Honey Almond Turkey, with an after-dinner chocolate."

"Why do you guys keep calling it dinner? It's lunchtime," said Chef.

"And why's it wrapped in rice paper?" asked Chris.

"Because we had to work with what we had, and this is all we had," said Luz.

"Hmm…" said Chris. "Well, let's see if mixing something beautiful like Himalayan Honey Sauce with something like almond butter is a good idea." Team Power Mouse watched nervously as Chris took a bite of the turkey. "Hmm…" Mikey began biting his nails. "Hmm…" Luz began to shake nervously. "Hmm…" Dipper began to sweat. "Hmm…"

"Just tell us how it is already," said Kim.

"It's…okay," said Chris. "I'll give it a five."

"It's better than that for me," said Chef. "I'm gonna give it a seven."

"Alright Power Mouse, that's twelve points," said Chris. "Team Checkmate are definitely safe, so let's see if Team Golden Lion can get more than Team Power Mouse to save themselves."

"Oh, I think we can," said Eliza, running up with two plates of food. "Presenting, beef wellington, with a side of ratatouille, served on a bed of…"

"LETTUCE?!" cried Chris, jumping out of his seat. "You're serving me LETTUCE?!"

"Yeah? What's wrong with…" started Danny, before remembering what Chris said at the start of the day. "…uh oh…"

Chef, on the other hand, was just finishing his meal. "I don't know what you're complaining about, this meal is a perfect ten," he said. "We should get you guys to cook more often."

"At least someone appreciates us," said Danny. "So Chris, why don't you…"

"Nuh uh, no way," said Chris. "Zero out of ten. Hell, make it negative a billion out of ten for all I care. You guys lose, I'll see you at elimination, where I'll be far away from…that." As if to emphasize his point, Chris immediately ran to the window and threw himself out.

"…he really doesn't like lettuce, does he?" asked Jenny.

"Guys, we have a bigger problem," said Korra. "Who gave him lettuce?"

"Well, Annie's the one who brought the box in…" started Lincoln.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, no blaming it on me," said Annie. "I had no idea what was in the box, I just brought it in."

"I was the one that put it on the plate," said Eliza. "But to be fair, you guys also…"

"Say no more, I already know where I'm voting," said Lincoln.

"But…wait…" started Eliza, as everyone else started to leave. "Annie, you wouldn't vote for me, would you?"

"Of course not," said Annie. "I'd never betray you, just like you'd never betray me, right?"

"Yeah, right, absolutely," said Eliza. As Annie left, Eliza glanced nervously at her pocket where she held the odd rock.

Later, at the Elimination Ceremony…

Confession Cam: Lincoln

"Look, Eliza put lettuce on the plate, it doesn't matter that the rest of us forgot about it too, right?"

Confession Cam: Korra

"I wonder if I should get rid of Annie. Not for malicious reasons, but if someone needs a comfort animal, should they really be on a show like this?"

Confession Cam: Eliza

"Please don't let me and Annie be the last two standing, please don't let me and Annie be the last two standing…"

"Okay Golden Lion, back again," said Chris. "Six of you, but only five marshmallows. That means one of you is going home tonight. Who will it be? Well, I know, because I've seen the votes. But now it's time the rest of you learned that information too. The following contestants are safe." As Chris read each name, he threw them a marshmallow. "Korra. Jenny. Danny. And Lincoln. You guys are all safe." And camera focused on Annie and Eliza, both looking terrified. "Annie, Eliza, there is only one marshmallow left. Which means one of you is going home. You'll be boarding the Boat of Losers, and never be allowed to return. Ever. The final marshmallow of the evening goes to…" The camera cut rapidly between the two, both getting more and more worried. "…Annie." Chris threw her the final marshmallow, which landed in her lap.

"Well, I guess that's it for…" started Eliza.

"Ahem," said Chris. "Aren't you forgetting something?"

"Forgetting?" asked Eliza.

"Turn out your pockets," said Chris, in a voice that hinted that he knew something.

"I…" started Eliza, who sighed, and pulled out…

"Oh, is that a Chris of Invincibility I see?" asked Chris. "I guess you're still in the game. Which means…"

"Eliza, you found the Statue?" asked Annie

"Yes she did," said Chris. "It was on the cliff near the sasquatch cave, and she found it while digging through the rubble."

"NO!" yelled Eliza. "I don't wanna use it. In fact, I give it to Annie."

"Too late, I've decided you're using it," said Chris. "Goodbye Annie."

"Wait, does this mean Eliza betrayed us?" asked Pony, causing everyone to gasp in shock.

"Wait, the horse could talk the whole time?" asked Danny.

"Yes he could, and no Pony," said Annie, giving Eliza a hug. "It's okay Eliza, just go on and win this thing."

"I will, I promise," said Eliza, holding back tears as Annie and Pony were led away.

"But will she?" asked Chris, inappropriately happy at the dramatic scene behind him. "I guess you'll find out next time, on Total. Drama. Island."

Meanwhile…

"Stupid *beep* kids," said the sasquatch, digging away at the fallen rocks. "Just wait until I get out of here, I'll show her…"
