Episode 8: The Long Way Home

The camera focuses on Chris at the end of the Dock of Shame. "Last time on Total Drama Island." The scene cuts to flashbacks of the previous episode. "The contestants were tasked with cooking a nutritious meal for me and Chef. However, they had to find the ingredients hidden around the island. Team Power Mouse had a slight advantage because they won the previous episode, by having a map to all the food. A map that Team Checkmate immediately took advantage of. Jessica managed to steal part of it from Kevin, helping her team find a lot of stuff, while Ben and Steven took a more peaceful approach. BORING! Anyway, Jenny decided to help Team Golden Lion by finding the closest food boxes, but Annie and Eliza decided to go off the explore the sasquatch cave, which the sasquatch didn't like, especially when they made it cave in, potentially killing such a rare and beautiful creature…"

"Stop rubbing it in," said Eliza from somewhere nearby.

"Hush, only I may speak during the into," said Chris. "Ahem, where was I? Oh yeah. When it came time to actually serve the meals, Checkmate and Power Mouse were able to serve something actually edible. However, Golden Lion decided to serve something nasty, evil, disgusting, horrible, unholy, garbage…"

"…that was actually kinda nice," said Chef from offscreen.

"WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!" snapped Chris. "Anyway, long story short, Golden Lion had to send someone home, and they chose Eliza. However, because she had found an Invincibility Statue, she used it to get her friend Annie eliminated."

"Because you forced me to," said Eliza.

"Seriously, SHUT UP!" yelled Chris, as the camera cut back to him. "What's next for my victims? The only way to find out is to watch today's episode, of Total. Drama. Island."

Intro song plays.

Early in the morning of the next challenge, the contestants were still asleep in bed, when a dark shadow leaned over each one in turn, grabbing them.

As the sun rose that morning, Dipper let out a huge yawn, before realising that he was no longer in his cabin. "What the…" he started, before realising there was a letter at the end of the sleeping bag he was now in. "Oh God Chris, what have you done now?" he asked, as he opened the letter.

"Good morning campers," the letter read. "You're probably wondering what I have done now. Well, we've kidnapped you."

"That much was obvious," said Kim, continuing down the letter.

"Each of you has been randomly placed around the forest on the island," said letter read. "Your challenge today is to simply make it back to camp. The first camper back wins an Invincibility Statue, while the first team fully back wins today's prize: a lemon."

"Wow, that's bad even by Chris's standards," said Kevin, continuing to read.

"The last team fully back will be sending someone home," said the letter. "So…try to avoid that. The backpack at the bottom of your sleeping bag has enough food to last you the day if you ration it properly…"

"…uh oh…" said Steven, having eaten half the food from his bag already.

"…Chef also insisted on giving you a compass," said the letter.

"Why thank you Chef," said Mikey, locating the compass.

"However, I felt that would make things too easy, so I put them next to a magnet," said the letter.

"Gee, thanks Chris," said Tulip, watching the compass spin at random.

"Also, there are ninjas hunting you," continued the letter. "Feel free to fight them. Or not. I don't care. Good luck. Signed, your best friend Chris."

"How am I supposed to fight a ninja?" asked Jessica. "Or make it back to camp?" Something seemed to move nearby as she was speaking. "…hello? Is someone there?"

Meanwhile…

"How long do you think we've got?" asked Chef.

"I reckon we've got a couple of hours," said Chris. "That should give us enough time to…" Before Chris could finish that sentence, something flew into the ground super-fast and hard, covering them in dust.

"Hi guys, am I the first one back?" asked Jenny, dusting herself off.

"Yes…yes, you are," said Chris, coughing out some dirt. "How did you…"

"You do know I can fly, right?" asked Jenny. "In fact…"

"Damn, I guess I missed out on the win then," said Danny, landed next to her.

"Same here," said Buttercup, also landing next to them.

"Guess I'm not the only one who thought to do this," said Ben, in the form of Stinkfly.

"And not a single one of you thought to use those abilities to go out into the woods to find your teammates to help them back first?" asked Chris.

"Uhh…" said Buttercup. "We could still…"

"Nope," said Chris. "I'm making it a rule, if you've already finished, you can't go back to help the rest of your team."

"Aww man," said Danny.

"On the plus side, Jenny gets this," said Chris, throwing her an Invincibility Statue.

"Yay," she said as she caught it.

Meanwhile…

"Okay Luz, you can do this," said Luz as she made her way through the forest. "You've got your glyphs, and you've fought far more dangerous people than ninjas. Surely you'll be…" Before she could finish that sentence, a group of ninjas jumped down from the trees, surrounding her. "Okay, might be a problem if there's a group of them."

The ninjas drew their weapons and charged at Luz. Luz held her breath as she tapped one of her glyphs, causing her to disappear from sight. The ninjas looked around in confusion, sure their target had been right in front of them a moment ago. "Hey, look at that," yelled one ninja, pointing out some footprints in the dust appearing from nothing as they headed away from them. One ninja picked up a rock and threw it at the invisible girl, knocking the wind out of her.

"I was hoping you'd do that," said Luz, who was now facing all the ninjas rather than being surrounded by them. "NOW EAT THIS, SUCKA!" Luz slapped her hand down on a glyph, and a blast of ice flew out of it, freezing many of the ninjas. Many, not but all. "Alright, now to…" she started as she reached for her bag. However, one of the ninjas grabbed her by the arm and lifted her up. "HEY! Let me go." Luz struggled against the ninja, but to no avail.

"Okay, that's one down," said the ninja holding Luz. "Now to…" Before he could finish his sentence though, a fireball flew out of the trees, hitting him and knocking Luz out of his grip.

"Luz? You okay?" asked Jake, in his dragon form.

"I am, thanks," said Luz. "Now, let's take these guys down."

"I had a different idea," said Jake. "I can fly. I'll take these guys down, then fly above the trees to find the campground. You should go find the others and help them. Make sense?"

"Are you sure?" asked Luz. "I've got plenty of glyphs to…"

"Don't worry about it," said Jake. "I got this. The others might not, they'll need your help."

"Alright, good luck buddy," said Luz, high-fiving him as she left.

"She called me buddy. And high-fived me. She is coming around," said Jake, turning to face the ninjas.

"HEY! She's getting away," called one of the ninjas.

"Yeah, and if you want to get her, you'll have to go through me," said Jake, blocking their way to Luz. "Bring. It. On."

Meanwhile…

"Okay, so the camp is on the south side of the island, and it's still morning," said Eliza. "That means the sun should be in the east, which is…" Eliza looked up at the sky, only to find it in thick cloud cover. "Damn it."

Meanwhile…

"Did she not expect me to wait for an overcast day to do this challenge?" asked Chris, watching her on the monitor.

"It's like she doesn't know you at all," said Chef, sitting beside him.

Back with Eliza…

"Okay, Plan B then," said Eliza, looking at the nearest tree. "AHA! Moss. Moss grows on the north side of a tree, so…wait a minute…" Eliza looked carefully at the moss, and noticed that it wasn't attached to the tree, but loosely scattered around the whole tree, as though intentionally placed there. "Oh, don't tell me…" Eliza went to several other trees, and saw the same thing at each of them. "Oh, *beep* you Chris."

Back with Chris…

"See, now she's getting it," he said.

Meanwhile…

"Okay, here goes," said Korra, summoning a gust of wind and shooting herself into the air. "Let's see…THERE!" Korra spotted the camp. "Now to just head in that direction, and…" Before she could finish that sentence, a rock flew up and struck her, knocking her towards the ground.

"Got one," said a ninja. "Now we just…huh?" The ninja watched as someone leapt from one of the trees, caught Korra as she was falling, and slapped a piece of paper as they were about to hit the ground. The pair stopped half a foot from the ground, before landing in a heap.

"Isn't it a little dangerous to knock someone out of the sky like that?" asked Luz, before turning her attention to Korra. "Are you okay?"

"I'm…fine, yeah," said Korra. "You do know I'm not on your team, right?"

"Would you rather I let you splatter?" asked Luz.

"Hmm…I suppose not," said Korra, getting to her feet. "So, you want the ones on the left or the right?"

"Let's just make it a competition to see how many we can take out, shall we?" asked Luz, grabbing out a pile of fire glyphs from her pocket.

"Sounds good to me," said Korra, cracking her knuckles. The ninjas gulped as the two girls advanced.

Meanwhile…

"Stupid Chris stranding us in the stupid woods," muttered Mandy as she wandered through the trees. "I swear, when I get back there, I'll…"

"You'll do what exactly?" asked someone nearby, and Mandy turned to see Dexter wandering nearby. "You realise if something happens to him, you probably won't get the prize money, right?"

"I suppose not," said Mandy. "I just want to give him a taste of his own medicine, you know?"

"Trust me, we all know how you feel," said someone else, and the two of them turned to see Lincoln, also wandering by. "So, you guys working together?"

"Pfft, hardly," said Dexter. "We just happened to run into each other while we were out here."

"Though it isn't a bad idea if we did," said Mandy. "We're on the same team, and we all need to get back to camp. It would be a smart idea to team up, at least for this challenge."

"…I suppose we could consider a temporary alliance," said Dexter, extending his hand to Mandy. "But no trying to manipulate me, I'm way too smart for you to do that to me."

"Hey, what about me?" asked Lincoln. "We just need to work together to get out of the woods, then never speak to each other again."

"As if we'd agree to that," said Dexter dismissively. "You're not even on our team."

"Actually, we'll do it," said Mandy.

"Wait, what?" asked Dexter.

"Yeah, what?" asked Lincoln.

"We could use a meat shield if any ninjas come our way," said Mandy. "It is going to cost you though."

"Of course it is," said Lincoln. "How much?"

"Oh, not much," said Mandy. "Just…one Invincibility Statue."

The two boys stared at her in shock. "My…Invincibility Statue?" asked Lincoln.

"Don't do it Lincoln," said Dexter. "She already has three of them. She doesn't need any more."

"True, I don't," said Mandy. "But a little extra security never hurt anyone. Plus, you need me more than I need you. So, what do you say?"

"Hmm…" thought Lincoln. "I like to pride myself as the Man with the Plan. And my plan right now is…I'll do it." Lincoln held out his hand to Mandy, who took it and shook on their new deal. "It's back at the cabin, so we'll get it when we get back there."

"Agreed," said Mandy, starting to walk away. "Let's go losers."

"Lincoln, I hope you know what you've just done," said Dexter.

"As I said, I'm the Man with the Plan," said Lincoln, following Mandy. "Now we just have to hope the plan works."

Meanwhile…

"So, I'm alone in the woods, I have no idea where anyone or anything is, and there are ninjas hunting me," said Kevin, wandering in what he hoped was a straight line. "This is fine, I can handle it, I just have to think about this logically. What would someone with superpowers do in this situation?" Kevin thought for a moment, and had an imagination spot.

"REALITY SHOW FOREST NINJA PUNCH!" yelled Imagination Gretel, flying through a horde of ninjas with her fist forward.

"…yeah, that probably wouldn't work for me," said Kevin, dismissing the idea. "What about Hamster? What would he do?" Kevin went into another imagination spot, this time involving Hamster.

"…I don't know what you're thinking of me for. I'm not going to give you any helpful advice," said Imagination Hamster, eating a piece of lettuce.

"Yeah, that was a stupid idea on my part," said Kevin, coming out of his daydream. "I should probably just…WHOA!" Not watching where he was going, Kevin nearly stumbled off a cliff. "Man, I need to watch where I'm going. I nearly went off this…"

"THERE'S ONE!" yelled someone, and Kevin watched in horror and a group of ninjas came running at him from the trees.

"Uh…hey guys, can we talk about…" started Kevin, as the ninjas continued to charge. "Well, there's one way out of this." Kevin closed his eyes, and jumped off the cliff, beginning to plummet towards the ground.

"Oh no you don't Kevin," said someone, and Kevin opened his eyes to see Kim swinging towards him from a vine. She grabbed his hand, and swung the two of them back to the top of the cliff.

"Okay, great Kim," said Kevin. "But now we're back at the top of the cliff with ninjas coming at us."

"Oh, come on, they're only ninjas," said Kim, running towards them. "How many do you think you can take?"

"Put me down for…" Kevin started, ducking under one ninja's fist as he calculated. "Around zero, I guess?"

"I suppose I can take a few extra then," said Kim, spin kicking two of the ninjas down as more came at them.

Meanwhile…

"You know you're not going to get through the shield, right?" asked Steven, consistently holding back one ninja's attacks.

"I know, I'm the distraction," said the ninja.

"What distrac…" started Steven, before realising there were several coming up from behind. "Ah, crud."

"Give up kid, it'll be better for you," said the ninja.

"Yeah, I suppose you're…" started Steven. "Hey, what's that?"

"You're not going to trick us that easily," said the ninja.

"No, really, right behind…" started Steven, as a huge tree branch came down on the ninja's head. The ninja fell to the ground, revealing Dipper behind him.

"Hey, how's it going?" asked Dipper.

"Well, slightly better now that one of the ninjas is out cold," said Steven. "You don't think you can sneak up on the others, do you?"

"Well, now that they're aware of me, probably not," said Dipper.

"Wanna run away screaming?" asked Steven.

"Seems like a plan," said Dipper, turning and running from the group of ninjas, Steven right behind him.

Meanwhile…

"Man, it's taking a while for anyone else to get back here," said Chris. "They'd better not be dead. That is, just, SO much paperwork…"

"Hey, look," said Jenny, pointing towards the trees, where a group of ninjas were walking out with someone. "Is that…"

"Seriously Chris? You want us to fight children like these?" asked the ninja, throwing Jessica and Mikey on the ground in front of him. "What is wrong with you?"

"I'm paying you good money to do this, now go ahead and do it," said Chris.

"You're paying us in lemons," said the ninja.

"You're receiving something for the goods and/or services you're providing," said Chris. "Now get back out there."

"You such a…" the ninja muttered something that sounded like a curse as he went back out into the forest.

"Well, at least we're done," said Jessica.

"Yeah, that's good," said Mikey, looking at the others who'd finished. "Wait, where's the rest of my team?"

"Well, Jake's just fighting the ninjas rather than flying out of there," said Chris, looking across the monitors. "Kim and Kevin have teamed up, as have Dipper and…Steven, apparently. And Luz has teamed up with Korra. Wow, your team is really open to team-ups with other teams apparently."

"Well, at least no-one on my team would do that," said Danny.

"Actually…" said Chris, showing him the monitor of Lincoln with Mandy and Dexter.

"WHAT?!" yelled Danny. "And with Mandy of all people? Why?"

"Well, her tendency to intimidate others probably plays a part in it," said Jenny. "It'd be a good survival tactic."

"But…it's still Mandy," said Danny.

"You think that's bad?" asked Ben. "Dexter's smart, and he's working with Mandy? By choice? Do you have any idea how bad that is?"

"…I can imagine," said Danny.

"I love when tensions start to boil over among the campers," said Chris. "And, let's…" Before Chris could finish his sentence, a pair of screams could be heard getting closer and closer, until Steven and Dipper arrived and stopped next to the others.

"Oh, hey, we're here," said Steven.

"Finally, we've been screaming for ages," said Dipper. "My throat really hurts after all that."

"As I was saying," said Chris, slightly annoyed at having been interrupted. "Let's see what some of the others are doing."

Meanwhile…

"Well, that was fun," said Korra, dusting off her hands. "We should do this again sometime."

"What, fight ninjas on reality TV?" asked Luz.

"I was thinking something more…casual next time," said Korra.

"Huh?" asked Luz, blushing. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, I have a girlfriend."

"What?" asked Korra, taken back. "No, no, that's not what I meant at all. I meant as friends. Not that I don't like you, but I just don't like like you, you know?"

"Oh, ah, obviously," said Luz. "I mean, you probably don't even like girls like I do."

"Try telling that to Asami," said Korra.

"Asami?" asked Luz. "Wait, are you…"

"Bi, yes," said Korra. "And man, you should have seen Mako's face when he found out both his ex-girlfriends got together."

"…wow, just…wow…" said Luz, unsure how to respond to that. "Well, at least I can safely say Amity's the only one for me. Nothing brings a couple together like helping stop their mother wiping out a group of people using the weapons their family's factory made."

"…yeah, I know," said Korra. "Well, except it was Asami's father that was the evil one, but still…"

Confession Cam: Luz

"Okay, seriously, how do me and Korra have so much in common? Not that I'm thinking of ever doing anything that would hurt Amity or anything, but still…" The camera cuts for a moment, that comes back with Luz right in front of the camera. "GIMME THAT TAPE! HOW THE *beep* DO YOU OPEN THIS THING?!"

Meanwhile…

"Tulip, hey you're back," said Steven, high-fiving her as she arrived at the camp. "How'd you manage to get here without the ninjas seeing you?"

"Apparently wearing a lot of green in the forest is extremely beneficial," said Tulip. "Also helps when you distract the ninjas."

"How'd you distract them?" asked Steven.

"No, I mean you as in you," said Tulip.

"Wait, you mean…" started Steven.

Flashback…

"UGH! I have no idea where anything or anyone is," said Tulip. "How am I supposed to…" Tulip paused, hearing something. "Is that more ninjas?" Tulip quickly pulled the hood of her hoodie over her head, put her hands in her pockets, and lay down on the ground, pretending to be a bush. "Wait, is that someone screaming?" Tulip dared to peak out from her hoodie, and watched as Steven and Dipper ran past her, screaming in terror as a group of ninjas chased them. "Well, it's helpful that they're out of the way, but it doesn't help me find the…"

"Oh, hey, we're here," said Steven, from off in the distance.

"Finally, we've been screaming for ages," said Dipper, also in the distance. "My throat really hurts after all that."

"…never mind," said Tulip, hurrying to where she just saw them.

Back in the present…

"Huh…glad to be of assistance," said Dipper.

"I'm just amazed that half of us are back in under two hours," said Tulip.

"Well, to be fair, it's not a big island," said Eliza.

"Hey, when did you get here?" asked Steven.

"Just now," said Eliza. "Would have got here sooner if SOMEONE…" Eliza glared at Chris as she said this. "…hadn't messed around with the best ways to navigate."

"You act like you expect any different from me," said Chris. "So, let's see how the teams are going. Teams Checkmate and Golden Lion still need two people. Team Power Mouse, however, are missing four."

"We could be in trouble," said Dipper.

"Don't threat Dipper," said Mikey. "All it takes is one group of our friends to make it back, and…"

"We're back," said Mandy, leading Dexter and Lincoln into the camp. "Oh, hey, looks like the rest of our team's here too."

"…okay, now we might be in trouble," said Mikey.

"Team Checkmate wins," said Chris. "And here's your lemon."

"Uh, Chris? That's a car," said Ben, looking at what Cris was presenting them.

"I know, and it's a piece of crap," said Chris. "Enjoy."

"…well, at least it's not completely worthless," said Steven.

"The engine's just a piece of paper saying I. O. U.," said Mandy.

"…I stand corrected," said Steven.

Meanwhile…

"Well, that takes care of all them," said Kim, standing among a pile of knocked out ninjas. "And you even took a few out yourself."

"They went down surprisingly easy for ninjas," said Kevin.

"We're not even real ninjas," said one that was apparently still conscious. "We're just interns that Chris dressed in black."

"That explains a lot," said Kim. "I mean, I've fought actual ninjas, and you guys are nothing like them."

"No duh," said the 'ninja'.

"Like, you guys are REALLY nothing like the actual ninjas I've fought," said Kim. "You're not even close to…"

"Uh, Kim? I think they get the point," said Kevin.

"Oh, sorry," said Kim. "Wanna go find camp?"

"I suppose we should," said Kevin, leading the way through the forest.

"Hey, what about us?" asked the ninja. In the distance, a bear's roar could be heard. "Uh…guys?"

"So, do you have any ideas on how to get back?" asked Kim, as the intern began screaming in the background.

"Hmm…well, we're high up so we should be able to see…" started Kevin, before spotting something. "Hey, is that the Dock of Shame? Camp's not far from that. Let's go."

"Perfect," said Kim. "So, why'd you decide to compete in this thing?"

"Well, it's because of my sister," said Kevin. "Some aliens gave her and her hamster superpowers, and now she keeps getting into super dangerous situations, and it worries me. I'm her big brother. I should be the one protecting her."

"And you think money will help with that?" asked Kim.

"Not specifically money," said Kevin. "More like…I want to try and give myself a superhero identity so I can fight alongside her."

"And what makes you think that money can help with that?" asked Kim.

"I mean, that guy who flies around in a suit of iron does it," said Kevin. "And then there's that guy who dresses like a bat. Why not me?"

"Listen, Kevin, you're a great guy," said Kim. "And you're pretty smart. You don't need money to help your sister. Me and Ron don't have powers, and we can fight bad guys all the time."

"I suppose," said Kevin. "It's just…the aliens said there's something worse, something more powerful coming. What Gretel's faced up until now was only a warm up, and she's struggled on a few of them. Do you know scary that is as her brother?"

"Kevin, listen to me," said Kim. "You're doing a good job at what you're doing. Even if you're not the one throwing punches, you're doing a good job of helping your sister, and I'm sure she appreciates it more than you know." Kim threw her arms around Kevin, surprising him. "Besides, every good hero needs a distraction sometimes."

"Oh, uh, thanks," said Kevin, hugging her back.

Confession Cam: Kevin

"Wow, Kim's actually pretty cool. I mean, she's smart, she's tough, she's kind. I kinda like that. Like, a lot." Kevin pauses, and realises what he said. "Wait, this goes on TV, right? Hiromi, I didn't mean it like that, I mean…" The camera cuts for a moment, that comes back with Kevin right in front of the camera. "GIMME THAT TAPE! HOW THE *beep* DO YOU OPEN THIS THING?!"

Meanwhile…

"Right this way," said Lincoln, leading Mandy back to his team's cabin. "Hopefully no-one else is here, otherwise they might think we're working together…oh, hi Danny."

"Lincoln? So the footage was true?" said Danny. "You actually are working with Mandy of all people?"

"Hush it, Ghost Boy," snapped Mandy. "This dweeb owes me an Invincibility Statue, and that's it. After that, all co-operation between us ends."

"Lincoln, you know by giving her that, we aren't going to keep you around if we lose, right?" asked Danny.

"Trust me, I know what I'm doing," said Lincoln, sifting through his bag. "AH HA! Found it." Lincoln pulled out his Invincibility Statue, and started to turn around, only to trip over something. "Oh no, I've dropped the Statue, and it's right where Danny sometimes accidentally fires off his ghost power beam thing," said Lincoln, lying on the floor as the statue rolled to the centre of the room. No-one seemed to react to what Lincoln had said. Lincoln fake coughed, as though to get someone's attention.

Danny suddenly caught on to what Lincoln was saying. "Oh…uh, yeah," he said, and a green blast shot from his hand, hitting the Invincibility Statue and reducing it to ashes. "Oh no, Lincoln, your Invincibility Statue that you were giving to Mandy. I seem to have destroyed it. I'm so sorry you guys."

"Well, it seems I can no longer give you the statue Mandy," said Lincoln. "But since I clearly had the intention of doing so, you can't hold it against me that you never…"

"I get it," said Mandy, clearly seeing through what Lincoln was doing. "Whatever dweebs, I'm out of here." Mandy left, and the two of them breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good to see you haven't completely turned against us," said Danny.

"I'm just glad you were here when I got here," said Lincoln. "I did not have a Plan B if you or Jenny weren't in here to destroy it."

"And you aren't disappointed that now you don't have some kind of immunity?" asked Danny.

"I mean, yeah, of course I am," said Lincoln. "But that just means I'll have to win on my own merits rather than relying on something else to get me through. Though if you could keep it a secret that it's been destroyed…"

"No chance," said Danny.

"Worth a shot," said Lincoln.

Confession Cam: Mandy

"And all of a sudden, Lincoln has reached the top of my 'Get Rid Of' list."

Meanwhile…

"Look, the finish line," said Korra.

"And it looks like everyone's back except…us…" said Luz. "Wait, that means one of our teams is sending someone home."

"Why do you think I'm already running?" asked Korra, who was already rapidly approaching the line.

"Oh no you don't," said Luz, grabbing out a fire glyph. Luz slapped it on the ground, and launched herself as far as she could from the resulting explosion. "Here I come, Korra."

"Bring it on," said Korra, as Luz got level with her.

"I intend to," said Luz, pulling out a plant glyph. "Sorry Korra." Luz slapped the glyph onto Korra's face, causing large vines to grow out of the ground the trap the Avatar.

"HEY! What the…" started Korra, struggling against the vines as Luz crossed the finish line.

"YES! I did it," said Luz, as Korra freed herself and crossed the finish line herself. "I saved us from elimination."

"Congratulations Luz, you beat Korra across the finish line," said Chris. "But let me ask you something: where's Jake?"

"Where's…oh no," said Luz, realising that Jake wasn't with them. "But that means…"

"That's right," said Chris. "Team Power Mouse…"

"Gets extra points because the Mac-Daddy dragon of the NYC took out all the ninjas on the island?" asked Jake, landing in front of the group.

"Okay, first of all, what the *beep* is that title?" asked Chris. "Second of all, there was no reward for beating up the ninjas. I just assumed you'd only do it where necessary."

"…ah…that would make more sense," said Jake. "So…uh…"

"See you at elimination tonight," said Chris, leaving the contestants to think about what happened.

Confession Cam: Kim

"Well Jake, you just stopped us winning. Hope you're happy."

Confession Cam: Jake

"Hey, Chris has been tricky like this before. How was I supposed to know he was messing with us again?"

Confession Cam: Luz

"I'd feel bad about voting for Jake after he helped me today, but who else is there to vote for?"

At the Elimination Ceremony…

"Hello Team Power Mouse," said Chris. "Six of you sit here, but soon it will be five. Which one leaves will be determined by one of these marshmallows. If you receive one, you're safe. For now. If you don't, it's to the Dock of Shame with you to board the boat of Losers. The follow contestants are safe." As he read each name, he threw them a marshmallow. "Kevin. Kim. Mikey. And Dipper." The camera focused on Jake and Luz, both looking nervous. "Jake, Luz, there's one marshmallow left, meaning one of you is going home. And final marshmallow goes to…" The camera rapidly cut between the two, as they got more and more nervous. "…Luz." The final marshmallow landed on Luz's lap. "Jake, you're out buddy."

"Yeah…yeah I get it," said Jake, getting up from his stump to head down to the dock.

"Wait, Jake," said Luz, catching up to him. Jake turned to face her, as she threw her arms around him. "Thanks for earlier, buddy."

"Hey, no problem," said Jake, hugging her back. "It's been great meeting everyone here, but I can't wait to see Rose again and tell her about all this."

"Rose? Who's Rose?" asked Luz, suspiciously.

"Oh, uh…" started Jake. "She's…uh…my…uh…"

"Wait…" said Luz, having a sudden realisation. "You had a girlfriend this whole time, and kept flirting with me?!"

"…maybe?" said Jake, as Luz pushed him into the Boat of Losers. "Does this mean we're not buddies anymore?"

"We'll see," said Luz, as the boat pulled away.

"Aww, man," said Jake, as the boat disappeared over the horizon.

"And there's another contestant gone," said Chris. "Who's on the chopping block for next time? You can find out right here, next time, on Total. Drama. Island."
