Chapter Six: The Baboon Twins in Action

In the heart of the Savannah, Kiara and her friends, Tiifu and Zuri, found themselves cornered by Reirei and her jackal pack.

Reirei: "Well, well, well, If it isn't the King's daughter." She sneered.

Goigoi: "I thought she's the princess." He scratched his head in confusion.

Reirei: "It's the same thing, Goigoi!" She rolled her eyes.

Kiara: "Reirei, you're going to regret messing with us." She stood firm.

Tiifu: "Yeah, the Lion Guard's going to be here any minute." She nodded confidently.

Zuri: "And they're going to kick your sorry tails." She added, trying to sound brave,

Reirei: "I don't think so. Because once we tell the King we have his daughter, we'll be able to take over the Pride Lands." She smirked, showing no fear.

Kion: "Not so fast, Reirei!" His voice suddenly rang out.

The Lion Guard, along with Bongo and Bobo, arrived just in time to help.

Reirei: "Oh great, it's the Lion Guard." She huffed.

Goigoi: "Who are those two baboons?" He squinted at the baboons.

Bongo: "I'm Bongo." He grinned.

Bobo: "And I'm Bobo." He added with equal enthusiasm.

Bongo and Bobo: "And we are… the Baboon Twins!" Together, they struck a heroic pose.

Goigoi: "Who?" He blinked, unimpressed.

Bunga: "That was Un-bunga-lievable!" He chimed in.

Fuli: "Bunga, focus!" She snapped, trying to keep him on task.

Reirei: "It doesn't matter who they are. We're still going to take the Lion Guard down! And those baboons too!" She growled.

With a snarl, the jackals charged at them. Kion leaped into action, tackling Reirei.

Bunga: "Zuka Zama!" He yelled, as he took down Goigoi.

Goigoi tried to escape, but Bunga grabbed his tail with a grin.

Goigoi: *growls* He growled, attempting to bite him.

But Bunga let go just in time, causing Goigoi to bite his own tail.

Goigoi: "Yip!" He yelped in pain.

Meanwhile, Ono swooped down to scatter two teenage jackals, and Beshte charged them, sending them flying.

Bongo and Bobo found themselves facing the jackal pups, Dogo and Kijana.

Dogo: "So, you must be Fuli's best friend we've been hearing about." He said with a smirk.

Bongo: "Yeah, I am." He replied proudly.

Bobo: "And I'm his older twin." He added, standing beside his brother.

Kijana: "Haha. You two don't look so tough." She laughed.

Bongo and Bobo: "Bring it on." They grinned in unison.

Dogo and Kijana charged at them, but the twins dodged swiftly, grabbing the pups' tails and pulling them back, causing them to tumble forward.

Kijana: "Owwww!" She groaned.

Dogo: "Hey, let go!" He snapped.

Bongo and Bobo: "Okay." They exchanged a quick glance and then grinned.

They pulled the pups toward them and delivered a quick kick, knocking them down.

Dogo and Kijana: "Grrrrrr!" They growled as they got back up, ready to charge again.

But before they could move, Fuli blocked their path.

Fuli: "Going somewhere?" She smirked, her tail swishing behind her.

Seeing no way out, Dogo and Kijana turned and bolted in the other direction.

Kion: "It's over, Reirei! Now go back to the Outlands!" He faced Reirei, standing tall.

Kion prepared to use the Roar of the Elders, but suddenly felt a tickle in his nose.

Kion: "Ah… Ah… Achoo!" He sneezed.

Reirei: "Looks like the Lion Guard's sick!" She snickered.

Goigoi: "Ooh." He nodded.

Kion: "We may be sick, but we can still take you on." He wiped his nose, still standing strong.

He was quickly joined by Bunga, Fuli, Ono, Beshte, Bongo, and Bobo.

Kion: "All of us." He said firmly.

Reirei: "Let's go, kids!" She saw they wouldn't back down and growled,

As the jackals retreated toward the Outlands, Dogo and Kijana spotted Asha with Rafiki in the distance.

Dogo: "Hey, do you see that little baboon over there?" He whispered to his sister.

Kijana: "Yeah, I think she's the baboons' little sister." She replied, grinning.

They both smiled mischievously but quickly followed their parents back to the Outlands, leaving the Pride Lands safe for now.
