Chapter 87 My Friendly Neighborhood

At the theater he was getting help from Sunset as the two fixed the place up.
"Thanks for helping me." He said.
"It's alright Rai." She smiles.
"I always have you girls helping me out every time." He said.
"Of course, because your our knight of course." She said.
He smiles at what she called him. The school always saw him as the great knight that would protect them from when the time comes.
"I have to go now, see ya." Sunset leaves.
He watches her leave and Kermit came.
"Looks like Sunset is leaving now."
"Yeah, but she's got plans." Rai said.
"How are the others doing?" He asked Kermit.
"Oh they're fine."
Then they saw a rift surprising them as they got sucked in, but they're weren't the only one as the entire place screams were heard.
Rai comes of the rift with Kermit and they grunted.
"Ow my head." Rai rubs his head.
The two looked and se a studio with statues around the place.
"Well, they got a better place than us." Kermit said.
"Hey guys!" They looked up and saw Scooter on rooftop.
"Scooter!" Kermit said.
"Guys!" He calls out.
"Scooter! Oh he can't hear us." Kermit looks down.
"We'll have to find a way to get him down from there." Rai said.
He looks to the see the entrance to the lobby. "Well better go there."
They went to the lobby and saw the elevator was covered in purple goo.
"Oh great, now we can't use it to get to Scooter." Rai said.
"There should be some stairs." Kermit said,
They went to the reception and saw a bell, Rai rings, then a small stage rises up from the counter revealing a sock puppet.
"Raise the curtain! Bring up the lights! The Neighborhood is coming to town!" It said.
"What the?" Rai got surprised.
"He's like me and the others." Kermit said surprised.
"Television's heartbeat has returned! A spirit of cheer brightens every child's eye!" The sock said next.
"Uh hi, we need to get to the roof." Rai said.
"The cry goes 'round the kindergarten class: "The Neighborhood! The Neighborhood!" The sock puppet continues as if Rai didn't say anything.
"Hello, we need to go the roof." Rai tried again.
"I am Ricky the Sock! Your Television will never be the same! We - Hold on, did you say the roof?" The now named Ricky asks.
"Yes." Kermit said.
"Why?" Ricky asks before noticing Kermit.
"Hey you're like us!" Ricky said in surprise.
"Like you as in more of you?" Kermit asks.
"Yeah." Ricky said.
"Look one of our friends Scooter is stuck on the roof." Rai told him.
"Oh my, no! this could be a catastrophe!" Ricky said worried.
"Yeah, so can you tell us another way to get to him?" Rai asked.
"I hate to break it to you guys, but the elevator is the only way to go there and it's a little... Stuck." Ricky said.
"Oh great." Rai said.
"Well we better get to Scooter fast." Kermit said.
"Yeah, he might fall into pieces." Ricky said.
"Better than to rags." Kermit made a joke causing him and Ricky to laugh.
"Good one. Hey maybe you can be a part of our show?" Ricky said.
"Well i'm already-" Kermit stopped when Ricky coughs and spit out a keycard.
"Excuse me." He goes back.
They looked at it and Rai said: "Hey theres a garage outside, maybe we can use it to find another way up."
"Good idea." Kermit said. "Wait we should take a look around here first and see if there is anything we need like keys."
They looked around and most of the doors were locked.
"Okay let's go." They went outside.
The duo went to the garage and opened the door. "Open sesame."
They went inside and hear someone talking while thumping on a door.
"Slowly." Rai said.
The two of them went to check and saw a puppet called Norman bang against a door.
"Hi i'm Norman, I want to play."
"Is he talking to himself?" Rai was weirded out.
"Maybe there is someone on the other end or he is crazy." Kermit said.
They went around him and they went to another room with a female puppet talking.
"Walk away around her." Rai said quietly.
They went to another room and saw a key inside a metal box.
"Oh great. Hey a wrench." Rai picks it up.
"Could come in handy." Kermit said.
They went around to get back where Norman was.
"Slowly." Rai said before he knocks Norman out with the wrench.
They went inside and saw a dressing room, the duo went down the stairs to see the mirror with some weird gun there.
But then Ricky comes out of a pipe next to the mirror.
"There you are!" Ricky said.
"Oh hey Ricky, your friends tried to kill us, more so me." Rai said.
"Oh, dear how embarrassing." Ricky said before noticing the gun.
"Oh, so that's where I left it." Ricky said about to grab it.
Rai takes it away. "Actually I might need it, we gotta get to Scooter, since nobody leaves a friend behind."
"Good on you. Listen if you are going through the studio watch out for Pearl." Ricky warns them.
"Pearl?" Kermit asks.
"She's the big bird that sits on people so be careful." Ricky said.
They door was heard banging making Ricky cough before he goes back, Norman and Lenard came inside.
Rai loads it up and shoots letters at them and they got stunned before bit before they got knocked down.
"Huh, learn your ABCs." Rai said.
"I heard about shooting bullets but not shooting letters." Kermit said.
"Well let's go and lock the door." Rai said.
They went out and locked the door behind them, the duo went to get the key that needed a target to be shot.
Rai shoots it getting the Key and they went out again, they moved through a hallway to see a Junebug.
She spins around. "Hey!"
Rai shoots at her making her be in pain before knocking her down wotjnthe wrench.
They took out some duck tape and went to a door that needed the Key.
They saw the Friendly Neighborhood set and it has some the puppets there.
"Wow, so this is one of the sets." Rai said.
"Wow. You know maybe we should do something like this." Kermit said before noticing more puppets.
They saw Ms Piggy go towards the stairs of the main building surprising them.
"Excuse me." She said but nobody payed attention so she got mad. "EXCUSE ME!"
They stopped to look at her.
"Thank you, my name is Ms. Piggy." She said.
"Ms. Piggy? Are you a new neighbor?" One of the puppets asks.
"Well i'm a guest. By the way... Did anybody see a blue fur puppet that likes to get shot through cannons called Gonzo?" She said.
Each puppet looks at each other before looking back to her shaking their heads no. Then a big bird puppet was clumsily walking around.
"What's wrong with her?" Ms. Piggy asks concern.
"She needs her glasses!" One puppet said.
"Oh poor thing, well i'm off." Piggy goes inside the building.
"Well we at least know the others or at least some did come too." Rai said.
"Why did she have to be here?" Kermit questions scared.
"Look they won't attack her, plus let's avoid her for now. Also let's go find that bird's glasses too." Rai said.
"Alright. Wait why didn't they attack her?" Kermit questions.
"They must think that she's one of them, so the others are safe too." Rai said.
"Wait then I would be safe too." Kermit said.
"Maybe but i'm not. So i'll need help." Rai said.
The duo continued as they were now in the middle of a studio filled with crazy puppets and they're friends were lost inside of it.
Note: Heres the new arc and it's My Friendly Neighborhood, I thought this game would be the best for Rai to go through since he has the Muppets.
