Chapter 88 My Friendly Neighborhood 2

Rai and Kermit sneaked around the set as many of the puppets there were standing around not noticing them.
One looks back but saw Kermit whistling as Rai was hiding behind him.
"Oh hello mr frog." The puppet said.
"Hey." Kermit said.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh, just hanging around." Kermit said.
"Okay." The puppet walks away.
"That was too close." Rai frowns.
Good thing he and Kermit are together since he can have his friend distract them long enough to avoid a fight.
"Okay let's go." Rai said as they went inside a building.
They walked around and headed to the rooftop, two puppets came towards him but he shoots many letters before they screamed getting sent.
Rai found tape and wraps them up.
"That should be enough." Kermit said.
"Yeah." Rai then saw a device in the distance.
"You know, theres been a few boxes on the walls."
"Oh yeah, they're all differently colored." Kermit said.
"Maybe we should check." Rai said.
He peeks out the edge to see Pearl move around as she tries to find her glasses.
"Poor girl." He frowns.
"I haven't seen Piggy anywhere." Kermit said.
"She must have left to another zone after not finding Gonzo. But knowing him he must still be around lost and she just had bad luck." Rai said.
"Well let's look for Gonzo." Kermit said.
"Yeah, also those boxes." Rai then saw a switch of sorts in the distance. "That could change it."
"Well let's try it." Kermit said.
They went there and Rai turns it closing some, they looked around.
"Nothing happened." Kermit said.
"It might, theres other boxes inside the buildings." Rai said.
"Oh yeah." Kermit remembered.
They went to look for any of those boxes.
Inside a building was Gonzo as he was wandering inside a building.
"This is so strange, but hey at least the puppets here nice." He said.
Gonzo was looking around and he saw glasses inside a box.
"Oh a pair of glasses." Gonzo said grabbing them. He then notices something.
"Are those eyes?" Gonzo questions as the glasses were like silly glasses.
He goes outside and he saw Rai and Kermit on the other side of the door.
"Hey guys." He said.
"Gonzo!" Rai said.
"Its good to see that you are ok." Kermit said happily.
"Yeah, also found these glasses." Gonzo said.
Rai takes them. "Follow me." They went to the other side.
Pearl was still looking for her glasses before Rai came and puts them on her and she could see again.
She got surprised and goes to her mirror to look at herself.
"It's okay, it's been some time." He patted her neck.
"We did a good deed." Kermit said happy for her.
Gonzo looks at Pearl and was amazed. "My, she's beautiful."
"I thought you were dating that chicken?" Kermit asks him
"She flew away with a rooster." Gonzo said.
"Oh." Kermit got surprised.
"Say, Pearl was it, how about a date? You and me?" He asked her.
Pearl looks at him with a thinking face. She then slowly nods yes.
"Woohoo!" Gonzo said happily.
"Let's go, lover boy." Rai and Kermit dragged him away.
"I promise to take you out!" Gonzo screams while Pearl smiles.
They went outside after getting the cranck and used it on a place at the entrance.
"Well let's try it." He inserts it.
Rai turns the crank and ground beneath them opened.
"Oh no." Rai said before they went down.
They slided down a tube before they got to the floor.
The group grunted in pain.
"You guys okay?" Rai said.
"Yeah." The two said.
They saw a door in front of them and they went to check before Ricky comes out of a pipe to look at them.
"Oh my, it seems your stuck in the basement." Ricky said.
He then saw Gonzo who stares at the sock puppet.
"Is he a friend of yours?" Ricky asks.
"Yes this is Gonzo. Gonzo this is Ricky." Kermit said.
"Nice to meet you." Gonzo said.
"Same here. Now you three are in the basement." Ricky said.
"Yeah, we need to get up again." Rai said.
"How do we get out of here Ricky?" Kermit asks.
"Oh, haven't a clue! Never come down here myself." Ricky said.
"Come on man." Rai said.
"Also how do you guys deal with blunt force trauma?" Ricky asked.
"Why?" Rai said.
"Well, Ray of course! He's the best sort of monster-janitor-thing, but he's a little obsessed with, ah, organic maintenance. Tends to pop out of the pipes and clobber people with his wrench." Ricky said.
"Oh great." Rai sighs.
"Would he attack me and Gonzo?" Kermit asks.
"Oh probably not. He's always been a little grouchy, he can't even use the elevator but can use the pipes." Ricky said.
"Elevator got it." Rai said.
"Maybe we should split up." Kermit suggests.
"No, if we do that, we're sitting ducks, stick together and we can have the numbers. Plus you guys can't even fight." Rai said.
"Right." Kermit said.
"I wish you guys luck." Ricky said as he leaves.
"Well let's check this door out first." Gonzo said.
"Yeah." Rai said as they entered it.
The group went foward to find something, they walked through a hallway and saw two puppets Judebug and Lenard, with one going against a wall.
"More of them." Rai said.
"Drums!" They got surprised as they see Animal come out of a room looking around.
Judebug saw him. "Oh hello."
"Drums?" He looks at her.
"If you're looking for drums it would be in the music room." Junebug said.
"Drums." He looks down.
Junebug feels bad.
Animal runs off. "Drums!" He goes through a hallway.
"Of course Animal had to go crazy without his drums." Rai said.
Junebug and Lenard went after him.
Rai shoots them both and they scream after they got sent back with enough shots.
"Go." They moved quick.
They looked around the place and found a office with a shotgun version of the gun.
"Now that's better." Rai picks it up.
"You should use that only when needed." Kermit said.
"I know." He puts on his back.
Meanwhile at a stage
Many of the puppets were walking around before Fozzie came to stage. "Hey everyone, do you want to hear a joke?"
"Sure!" One puppet said.
"What did the cow say to the farmer?" Fozzie starts.
"What?" Another Puppet asks.
"Moove over! Wocka Wocka!" Fozzie said laughing.
This made them laugh at his joke.
"How about another one?" Fozzie asks.
"Sure." A third puppet said.
"What do vampires grow In they're garden? Transplants." Fozzie Said.
Fozzie and the puppets laughs.
The group kept looking for they're friends as they were all spread around the studio with some at least doing alright.
Note: Gonzo is found, Pearl got her glasses since they got lucky that Gonzo found the right one, now they're in the basement with Animal wandering around it.
