Hey guys and gals, welcome back once again to MHA: The Value of a Thief and this time around we'll be adapting another event from the game.
The event in question is the park clean-up where we'll be getting a focus on Yoshizawa.
Not only that but we'll also be having Madarame's confession, officially ending the Madarame arc.
So with that being said, let's get this chapter started

Principal's Office
Third person P.O.V.
"You want to see me, Principal Kobayakawa" Ren asked, after being called over by Kawakami as she told him from before.
"Ah yes, Amamiya-kun please sit down" Kobayakawa ushered him, as Ren moved in and sat down.
"Now as you may know, because of the recent events involving Mr Kamoshida, we had to cancel your promised trip to the U.A. sports festival" Kobayakawa said, as Ren awkwardly nodded.
"Yes, I'm aware…most of the tears are gone now" Ren said, as Kobayakawa nodded.
"Right, well UA has recently made a decision on what your reward will be instead" Kobayakawa making Ren.
"Oh? Seriously, I was thinking they completely forgot about it, what is it?" Ren asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well you and 4 other students to be guest's for a tour through UA" Kobayakawa explained, making Ren's eyes widen "Which means you'll be getting to see what each of the four classes do day to day, and you'll even get to take part in some of the Hero training exercises".
"Holy shit" Ren muttered, as Kobayakawa took out a sheet.
"Now for the reason I asked you to come in, I'm not allowed to pick which students you decide to bring so I have also taken the liberty of choosing a list of which students you are allowed to bring-" "Hold on, what?".
Kobayakawa blinked, before looking up at Ren who had a confused expression "Uh, this is my reward after all, of course I'm bringing Ryuji and Ann."
"Amamiya-kun, this is a very big opportunity for the school. We need to make sure the best of the best are the ones to go. If we bring the problem students it will look bad for the school" Kobayakawa frowned.
"So you're saying that the students most affected by Kamoshida shouldn't be compensated in anyway, I mean Ryuji got his leg broke after Kamoshida started talking shit about his family which you called 'self defence' and was ostracised by all the students, and we both what happened to Ann when she become the target for Kamoshida" Ren pointed out "So yeah, there's no way I'm not bring them along after all the shit they had to put up with".
"B-But you have no idea how this could affect that school, we're already getting a worse reputation after the Kamoshida incident" Kobayakawa yelled, as Ren crossed his arms.
"Hey, I'll let you choose who the other two will be. I just wanna bring my friends along so you better make some good decisions" Ren shrugged, before leaving the room.
"Hah…well I suppose there's one student that can go on the trip…" Kobayakawa said, looking at the list which had Makoto Nijima on it.
Mementos
Third person P.O.V.
"HEE HO!" A large dark version of Jack Frost called Black Frost yelled, as it shot a wave of wave energy towards the thieves.
"Guys! Move!" Joker called, the Thieves jumped back a bit dodging the large Shadow's attack.
"Stop moving around! No matter what you do you can't beat me!" The Shadow grinned, looking around at the Thieves surrounding them.
"Hah please! Why would we care about a D-Grade villain like you!" Skull grinned, dashing forward and swinging his new Hammer Weapon at the Shadow knocking it back.
"Yeah! What kind of creep goes around assaulting Hero school students!" Panther yelled, ripping off her mask to summon Carmen and throw fireballs at the Black frost.
"Oh shut up! Those brats don't deserve the title of hero! They only think it's cool to blast and fight people!" The Shadow yelled, before slamming its foot on the ground.
This caused a wave of darkness to move from his foot to the Thieves before bursting out.
"GAH!" "DOH!" Skull and Panther cringed, before collapsing onto the ground.
"Guys!" Joker called, looking over at the others collapsing to the ground as Black Frost rushed towards them.
"Oh no you don't!" Morgana yelled, rushing in and slashing horizontally at the Shadow, and followed this by spinning around before summoning Zorro to punch the Shadow knocking it back.
"Grrr! Why can't you leave me alone!" Black Frost yelled, before firing another Ice blast at Mona and the downed Thieves.
"Come! Goemon!" Fox yelled, ripping his mask off to summon his Persona and move in front of the others to protect them from the attack "Joker now!."
"On my way!" Joker yelled, dashing towards them while reaching for his mask "Flauros!"
"GO!" Joker and Fox yelled, as the two Persona's rushed towards Black Frost with simultaneous slashes causing the Shadow to explode.
"Ugh, did we get him?" Skull groaned, rubbing his head as her and Panther got up after Mona healed them.
"D-Damn it! Why! Why couldn't I become harder than anyone yet these dumbasses became heroes instead! All for selfish reasons!" The Shadow cried, as Joker walked up.
"Everyone has their own reason to want to become a Hero, you shouldn't go around judging them just because they don't have the same reasons as you do" Ren told him.
"Y-You're right, you are absolutely right…I shouldn't have done any of these things…" he cried, as his body shined before disappearing.
A few minutes later, we see the Monabus driving through Mementos as they make their way to the lower levels.
"Oh shit! We get to go to U-freaking-A!" Skull grinned, as they rode the Mona bus through Mementos.
"Wow! I can't wait to see Yaoyorozu-chan again, she'll be so surprised" Panther smiled, as she sat back next to Fox.
"I must admit I am quite envious you get to experience such a thing, please be sure to take pictures of your visit" Fox requested, as Joker looked back.
"Sure, I don't mind…I probably could have brought you too but the only way I could have convinced Kobayakawa to let me bring you two was to let him get the other two choices" Joker explained, as Skull groaned.
"Ugh for real? Why don't we just go ahead and change his heart, I mean he was the one who was letting all this shit go on" Skull asked, as Joker sighed.
"You don't think I've tried, dude's name doesn't show up on the Metanav" Joker stated, before they heard a beep.
"That just show's not every bad person has a Palace, there wasn't anything that made him like that he was always a fame obsessed coward" Mona frowned.
"Hmm, sounds like you have quite the handful at your school from what you've said about him. He seems quite incompetent in his job. I wonder how he got such a position" Fox wondered, leaning back.
"Bet he's got a bunch of connections, how else did he get this deal with UA" Skull suggested, leaning back.
"By the way, how much longer will we be here? We've already finished the request" Mona asked, as they drove around.
"Ah I'm just looking to see if I can find Jose, that card from before came in handy so I thought seeing if he can get us another one might work out" Joker told them, as Panther frowned.
"Are you okay with that Yusuke? It'll mean destroying the Will seed you got from that copy of your dad." Panther asked, but Fox smiled.
"It was actually my idea, I have already sketched every piece of the Will Seed and besides, I'm sure my father would happy if the last thing he gave me was used to protect my friends" Fox told them
"Daww! Yusuke!" Panther smiled, before giving him a hug "I'm glad you think of us that way."
"L-Lady Ann!" Mona pouted, as Skull looked back.
"By the way Yusuke, has anything come up about Madarame?" Skull asked, making Fox blink.
"Ah yes, well he seemed to have become a lot more emotional. He apologised to me about what he's done to me and was honest about his relationship with my parents" Fox explained "Is this what you meant by a change of heart?"
"Well to be honest, we don't know. Kamoshida was the first one but he was taken into UA after we sent the calling card so we didn't get to see the progression" Mona explained.
"Ah, that would explain why some Heroes came to our house asking Madarame some questions" Yusuke realised, looking down.
"Wait for real?! Way to bury the lead dude!" Skull gulped, as Panther looked at him.
"Did they ask you anything?" Panther asked, with Fox turning to her.
"Indeed, they asked me where I was the day the Calling Card was posted" Fox told her "I simply explained that I had left since it didn't seem like my help was neccesary so I was with the rest of you and they seemed to accept that."
"Well that is good, though it is worrying that Heroes are looking into us" Joker said, as he focused on the road.
"Oh come on, you gotta admit it's pretty cool that we've caught the eyes of the heroes" Skull grinned "And I bet we'll become famous after this next change of heart."
"Is fame all you want from this" Panther sighed, shaking her head "Oh yeah, you guys ready for tomorrow."
"Hmm? What's happening tomorrow?" Fox asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"The school is making us do this park clean up event, probably just to make the school look better" Joker told him.
"Yeah, it's probably going to be a drag but at least we get off early" Skull shrugged leaning back "You guys wanna do something after?."
"Can't, I was going to go and visit Shiho tomorrow and see how she was doing," Panther told them.
Skull blinked at that before looking over at Panther about to ask her something when the car came to a stop "Huh-wha?"
"Oh, did you find the Joker?" Mona asked, looking at their leader who took off his seatbelt.
"Yeah I think so," Joker nodded, looking out the window to see Jose drinking some of his drink. "I'll handle this, you guys stay here and tell me if a Shadow shows up."
With that Joker took the Willseed and made his way towards Jose who noticed him and smiled.
"Oh! Hello mister, it's been awhile" Jose waved, as Joker waved back.
"Yeah it sure has sorry bout that," Joker said, as he sat down next to Jose "I was actually looking for you, we found something in a Palace that you might like"
"You did" Jose blinked, surprised before smiling as Joker handed him a Will Seed "Oh wow! I was hoping to find one of these."
"Thought so, the card in the last one actually helped out a lot, so thanks for that" Joker winked, as Jose looked at him.
"It did? Well I'm happy to have helped, " Jose smiled, before opening the Will seed and handing him a new card "If it helped you out last time then I'm sure this one will help out too."
"Thanks" Joker then took the card out of Jose's hand before thinking of something. "By the way Jose, I wanted to ask you something."
"Hmm? Yeah, what is it" Jose asked, as Joker shifted around.
"Well I was wondering if you've seen anyone wearing weird outfits and masks like me and my friends? We heard about a guy with the same power as us wearing a black mask and I was wondering if you've seen anyone like that" Joker explained, watching Jose look up to think about it.
"Hmm, I don't think so? I would definitely remember seeing more people in weird clothes" Jose said, as Joker sweatdropped.
"Right, well if you see a human with a Black Mask running around could you tell us? We wanna make sure they aren't dangerous" Joker asked, as Jose smiled.
"Sure thing!."
"Hehe, thanks" Ren smiled, rubbing Jose's head before getting back to the bus "Well, see ya."
Jose then hopped up and started waving "Bye bye mister!."
Returning to the Mona Bus, they then made their way back to the entrance to get some rest after the long day they had.

In the middle of the city we see a gigantic statue of the number 1 hero All Might, however on his chest was a spray painted logo of a top hat and mask with flame coming out the eyes.
YEAH! YEAH! OW!
We then see a blur zoom past the statue, with the camera barely following its movements.
It's your haze of delusion versus reality
We see Joker running from rooftop to rooftop, with a light shining on him as several helicopters chased after him
Just keep stirring the pot to find your individuality
Arsene then flew up behind him before Joker jumped off the rooftop and grabbed his partner's Chain to help him fly.
Delete another problem that is plaguing your mind
We next see Skull running down the highway as several police cars chased after him, a wild grin on his face as he ran
From day to day! To end to end! That's entertainment of our lives
Captain kidd then sailed up and caught Skull as he cheered into the night sky, as face of pure joy behind him
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Several paint marks were slashed at the walls, as we see Fox painting everything in the alleyway around him
Let's celebrate our time, and party while we're still alive
He then spun around as Goemon showed and blew his smoke allowing the paint to glow revealing he had painted different hero posters and stop signs.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Panther then jumped down onto some train tracks and began dancing, as she began spinning around like a Ballerina
Kick your worries to the side and aim up to the sky.
Carmine then appeared behind her, and below a flaming tornado that spun around her as she smiled up at the beauty.
EVERYBODY! Put your hands up!
We see Queen riding on Johana with Mona on her back, as the two of them drove up an elevator through a window.
We'll be flying~ Can you imagine it?
We see a large UFO flying above the city with Oracle inside, before she tapped a few commands into it
Search and you'll find the stage set within your dreams.
The UFO then began flashing several colours like a Disco Ball that lit up the entire city.
The place where you're the one
Down below we see Noir and Milady dancing like in a ball on Shibuya crossing before the two spun around.
That's where you're meant to be!
Noir then struck a pose as Milady revealed the variety of guns below her dress.
EVERYBODY!
We then see the Thieves falling through the sky towards a variety of statues of Pro Heroes.
Put your hands up!
We see both Panther and Mona aiming firing their guns at a statue of Ryukyu which crumbled into pieces.
We'll be flying!
Then Skull and Fox quickly moved past a large statue Edgeshot, cutting it in half.
Can you imagine it?
Next we see Queen and Noir crashing, punching the large statue of endeavour into pieces.
Search and you'll find the stage you set within your dreams
In the UFO we see Oracle typing in a few more codes with a grin on her face, before snapping her fingers causing her UFO to drop a huge bomb towards the All Might statue.

Joker then grinned as Arsene threw him towards the bomb which he shot with his pistol causing a huge explosion of colours.
FLYIN! Within these memories!
We see the whole team of Phantom Thieves cheering at the beautiful explosion they were witnessing.
FLYING! That you're slowly forgetting!
Joker smirked before he spun around and landed towards the ground as the train passed by him.
Just listen close to the song that lies within you~
Ren then gets up in his school uniform with Morgana in his bag, before he waved to us and walked back towards the crowd of people passing by.

Third person P.O.V.
Ren yawned as he got off the train while in his tracksuit, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he made his way to the elevator "Did you have to wake me up like that, Morgana."
"You were oversleeping and going to be late, what was I meant to do?" Morgana asked, from the bag.
"Not scratch me in the face, you couldn't have thought of anything less painful" Ren deadpanned, as he walked down the stairs.
Ren was currently on his way to the park where he and his classmates were to help with the clean up effort.
They were told it was a way to get everyone to better appreciate nature but everyone could tell it was mostly a way to get some good press for the school.
As Ren exited the station, he could hear a conversation going on nearby.
"You go to Shujin, right? I heard things have been rough there recently, what with that scandal about the hero getting arrested and the girl. You wanna go talk about it somewhere?"
"No, thank you. I'm fine. If you'll excuse me, I really need to get going." A familiar voice said, catching Ren's attention.
He looked over and his eyes widened when he saw Yoshizawa have a conversation with a man who had clear perverted intentions, with his Quirk making him look a lot bigger and stronger then Yoshizawa.
Yoshizawa gave the man a bow while looking very uncomfortable as she tried to politely leave only for the man to grab her arm "...Ah!"
"C'mon, there's no need to be shy" The man told her, as people around them started mumbling while watching what was going on.
"Let me go…" Yoshizawa frowned, clearly struggling to break free.
"Come on, at least give me your number, in case you change your mind." the man asked, moving in closer. "Better yet, I'll put your number in your phone for ya~ So you can call me later for some fun".
"Stop it…" Yoshizawa weakly cried, as she was looking more and more scared with the people around them walking off.
'Someone…please, help me-' "Hey!".
Yoshizawa blinked, before looking up to see Ren with a very serious look on his face as he walked towards them with the man finally letting go of her "Huh, and who the hell are you!"
"Senpai" Yoshizawa quickly moved behind Ren for safety, shocking the man as he growled.
"What the hell! You know her or something, mind your own business! We were just going to have some fun." He growled, but Ren just crossed his arms.
"Looked more like you were just harassing one of my friends, but hey I'm just some random kid. I'm sure the heroes would happily listen to your side of the story over the victim" Ren suggested, with a smug smirk.
"Tch whatever, like she's anything special" The man scoffed, before walking off.
Ren then looked back and saw Yoshizawa shaking timidly and tremply breathing in and out while she was gripping to his tracksuit tightly "You okay? You need a minute?"
"H-Huh?" Yoshizawa blinked, before jumping back "O-Oh I'm so sorry about that! It was rather scary but I'm alright now, thank you so much Senpai!".
"No problem, couldn't just sit around and do nothing" Ren shrugged, rubbing his head.
Yoshizawa nodded as she looked at Ren with a smile "I see. I take it you're going to clean up, too?" She asked.
"Yep, probably gonna su~~ck! Do you wanna head over there together? Probably less of a chance of creeps like him coming back" Ren suggested.
"I'd love to! We should probably go now before we're la-" Yoshizawa said, before realising something "Your clothes…OH NO! I completely forgot my gym clothes at school".
"Ah crap, you should probably hurry back. Don't worry, I'll cover for you" Ren told her, as Yoshizawa smiled.
"Thank you so much, we can talk later alright" Yoshizawa bowed, before quickly heading back Ren turned over to make his way to the park.
Inokashira Park
Third person P.O.V.
"Hey guys" Ren yawned, as he walked towards Ann and Ryuji who were talking near a tree, with Ryuji being in his tracksuit while Ann was holding a bag.
"Oh hey man, what took you so long?" Ryuji asked, leaning next to the tree.
"Nothing much, just kinda overslept," Ren explained, before Morgana poked his head "And don't forget saving your Kouhai from that huge creep."
"Wait, do you mean Yoshizawa! I need all the details" Ann grinned, while Ren stepped back.
"It's nothing like that, she was just getting harassed so I told the dude to piss off or else I'll call the heroes or the police." Ren explained "Thank god he called my bluff, if I actually got caught with the police again I'd be screwed".
"Ah fair enough I guess" Ann nodded, before glancing up and down at Ren's clothes "Did you really come here from your home in your gym clothes?"
"Uh yeah, then there would be less to carry… why? Is that weird?" Ren asked, while Ryuji looked over at her.
"Not like it's a guy only thing, I saw a couple of girls coming in with their gym clothes" Ryuji shrugged, as Ann shook her head.
"No that's not what I meant, I was just thinking you guys were lucky not having to carry any extra pair of clothes with you" Ann sighed "Can't exactly smell like sweat when I go and see Shiho later."
"Ah I getcha" Ryuji winked, seeing the blush on Ann's face "But where are you meant to change? Looks like the line for the bathroom is pretty."
"Well that's the only place I can go, guess other people had the same idea as me" Ann sighed, while Ren looked at her.
"Why didn't you come in your gym clothes and then change when we're finished or when you get to the hospital?" Ren asked, while Ann frowned.
"Easy…" She said, turning to him "...Because that is an excellent idea that I wished I thought of last night."
The others snickered at that joke before they heard Mishima walking up to them "Man, it's such a nice day out that even the weather seems to be mocking us."
"Uh dude, can you find a way to join our conversation that's a little less awkward?" Ryuji sweatdropped, as Mishima turned over to Ren.
"Oh by the way, I'm really sorry about ditching you the other night" Mishima said, as Ryuji blinked.
"Shit right, yeah sorry about that man the nerves just kind got to us."
"What did you guys do?" Ann asked, looking between the two with a confused look.
"You really, do not wanna know" Ren sighed, shaking his head "And as for you two, don't worry I'll get you back for that…eventually."
Ryuji and Mishima couldn't help but gulp at the way Ren phrased that, but they couldn't dwell on that for long before Maruki walked up to them.
"Ah I see everyone is here, good morning" Maruki smiled, looking at the group.
"Huh? I didn't know you were doing the clean up too Doc, you don't look dressed for it" Ren asked, looking at him.
"Not exactly, I'm in a different-" "There you are Doctor Maruki"
The group looked over to see a couple of girls walking up to them "We'll be starting the preparations soon."
"Preparations? For what?" Ann questioned, while Maruki looked over to her,
"I'm a part of the cooking crew. Hope you're looking forward to an unforgettable luncheon" Maruki smiled, walking off to the rest of the girls.
"You aren't making steamed hams you can't say that" Ren said, before looking at the others staring at him "My grandpa really likes western culture, basically grew up on shows like the simpsons."
"Right… but seriously when did Maruki become Dr Popular" Ryuji scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Yeah it is kind of weird how popular Maruki's gotten lately" Ren mumbled, rubbing his head.
"Well I'm sure the Phantom Thieves will be even more popular," Mishima confidently, before they heard the announcement.
"Good morning, Shujin Academy students and staff, please pick up all of the trash located in the areas assigned to your group" Makoto said from a megaphone "Once the clean up is completed, a lunch of miso soup with pork and vegetables will be served."
"Oooh, so that's what the Maruki fan club is making. Gotta admit I'm kinda getting excited" Ann smiled.
"So you guys wanna group up? Doubt it'd be a lot of fun with other people bugging us" Ryuji asked, but Mishima turned to him.
"We can't, the schools already assigned the groups at random. They're four people apiece, boys and girls mixed" Mishima explained.
"Oh…greeeeaaaaaatttttt" Ren frowned, rolling his eyes.
"Now that those announcements have been made, please break into your groups and head to your assigned groups" Makoto called, as the group sighed before splitting up.
As they did split up, we see Haru walking up to Makoto who frowned "Are you sure this is a good idea Haru? This seems risky."
"Don't worry Mako-chan, it's like you said they already know you're keeping an eye on them, but they don't know we're working together so I might be able to hear something from them" Haru smiled cheerfully.
"Well I guess that's a good point, just be careful alright and just go for Takamaki-san and Sakamoto-kun, I'm pretty Amamiya-san would probably figure you out." Makoto asked, making Haru smile and nod.
"I won't let you down, Mako-chan," Haru smiled, before running ahead.
A few minutes later we see Haru wandering around the park looking for the Phantom Thieves, as it was the Third Years' job to supervise everyone as they worked.
"Hmm, let's see her…who should I check first…" Haru wondered, looking around.
"Hey! Check it out! A wallet!" Haru blinked, before looking over to see Sakamoto and his group working in their area as they found a dropped wallet.
"Oh shit, is there cash in it?" Another student asked, as the one who found it checked it out.
"WHOA HO HO! IT'S STUFFED! WE'RE RICH!" The student cheered, making Haru frown as she was about to go in to stop them.
"Hey uh, aren't we supposed to drop that in a police box or something?" Ryuji asked, as Haru blinked in surprise.
'W-Wow, Sakamoto-kun doesn't seem like the kind of person who cares about that…' Haru thought, looking down as the other students in his group stared at him with odd looks.
"Oh what?! How was that weird?" Ryuji defended himself while the others rolled their eyes and walked off to continue cleaning.
"Um excuse me, Sakamoto-kun?" Haru asked, causing Ryuji to jump and look back.
"O-Oh uh, you're um…" "Haru Okumura, we met before when Takamaki-san accidentally used her Quirk on you, back on the roof".
"The roof…oh that" Ryuji blinked, before rubbing his head "Sorry I didn't remember it cause I was all woozy, what's up?"
"Well I've just been curious, since you're so involved with Kamoshida, what are your thoughts on the Phantom Thieves?" Haru asked, turning her head.
"The Phantom Thieves?" Ryuji blinked, with a surprised look on his face before grinning "Wow Senpai, didn't expect you to believe in them."
"W-Well I've been hearing a lot about them, especially when Madarame got a Calling Card recently" she explained "So I got curious about how people see them compared to the heroes."
"Oh hoh I get ya, I get ya" Ryuji grinned, before looking up "Well to me…the Phantom Thieves are the only ones that can make a real change."
"Change? What do you mean" she asked.
"It's kinda hard to put into words you know, like there are a bunch of jerks who think they can do whatever the hell they want and not just with their quirks but the heroes don't even go after them cause they aren't 'villains' you know" Ryuji explained.
"I see…well that's certainly an interesting perspective" Haru smiled, as Ryuji rubbed his head.
"Is that all you needed to know, Senpai?" Ryuji asked, Haru nodded.
"Yes! Thank you very much Sakamoto-kun" Haru told him before turning around "Well I'll let you get back to work, see you around."
"Ah yeah see ya" Ryuji waved, before turning around "That was kinda weird, but she seemed nice."
Meanwhile on another side of the park we see Ann and her group as they picked up an Umbrella that they had found on the ground
"Ugh seriously, who the hell throws away and entire fucking umbrella" One student scoffed "It's not even that broken…"
"Well I mean, it was raining a few days ago. It could have been blown away" A female student suggested, making the other one blink.
"Oh yeah, that actually makes sense" he said, about to put the Umbrella in the bin but Ann walked up.
"Ah wait, you're supposed to remove the plastic from the metal before throwing it away" Ann told the group, making them blink.
"We are? How the hell are we supposed to do that?" The student asked, making Ann sweatdrop.
"Seriously? Here let me show you" she sighed, taking the umbrella and with a little force pop the plastic sheet off of the umbrella "There see? Easy."
"Woah" the group blinked at Ann's demonstration.
"Wow Takamaki-san, you're a lot more hands on then I expected" The female student said "I bet you'd be a great wife someday."
"Huh, well I guess but that's not for a long while" Ann told her before she put the umbrella away.
The group then went back to work, cleaning up the assigned areas around them but as Ann worked on her area Haru came walking up to her.
"Hmm? Oh Okumura-senpai, what's up" Ann asked, turning to the girl who smiled.
"Oh nothing, I've just been curious about something and wanted to know what some of the students had to say" Haru told her, making Ann raise an eyebrow.
"Yeah? And what's that" Ann asked, looking at the innocent looking girl.
"Well I've just been curious, since you're so involved with Kamoshida, what are your thoughts on the Phantom Thieves?" Haru asked, turning her head.
"O-Oh the Phantom Thieves?" Ann blinked, scratching her cheek "Well…I guess I think they give people courage."
"Courage? What do you mean?"
"Well I mean think about it, there are plenty of people that heroes can't protect right and not just physically but people with power that keep them from achieving their dreams like what Kamoshida was doing with Shiho, the idea that there are people looking out for them makes me think people can do what they want without having to worry about people with more power manipulating or assaulting them" Ann explained.
"Huh…I can certainly understand believing in something like that…" Haru muttered, looking to the side.
"You okay Senpai?" Ann asked with a concerned look but Haru shook her head.
"I-It's fine, just something that's been on my mind lately" she explained "I should get back, good luck with your job."
"Huh…that was…weird?" Ann muttered, before shaking her head and getting back to work.
"Come on, aren't you even a little bit curious" "N-No way, I'm not doing that" "But we have to at least know." Some of the students murmured, as they worked a good distance away from Ren.
The students were currently debating whether or not they should use their quirk to take a peek into what Ren was thinking about, in order to confirm whether or not those rumours Kamoshida started up were true.
"You know I can hear you guys right?" Ren pointed out making them jump "Real invasion of privacy there, also are you seriously debating whether to believe the words of an arrested paedophile?"
"That's…actually kind of a good point…" "S-Sorry! We'll leave you alone." "Our apologies."
'God the one time Morgana decides to not stick around it…' "Hmm, seems like you weren't exaggerating about the way you are treated in school."
"Yeah it's a real hassle Yusuk-YUSUKE?!" Ren jumped back, as he turned to his blue haired friend "What are you doing here?"
"Ah, well today was just such a nice day I just had to go and work on my next piece" "You were lonely and wanted to hang out with us, weren't you" "That was also one of my reasons yes."
"Huh, who's that guy? A friend of his?" "Dang, he's kinda hot" "Well he is cute, but if he's friends with him…"
"Hmm, seems like I'm also joining the rumour pool" Yusuke blinked, as they overheard the other students.
"Yeah well you get used to it," Ren shrugged, before looking back at Yusuke "So any idea where you'll be working on your canvas."
"Well to be honest I was considering doing a painting of you all working, but unfortunately I don't have the funds for one of the boats so I can get the best shot." Yusuke told him.
"Oh is that all" Ren muttered, before opening his wallet and pulling out 2500 yen "Here this should give you about an hour and a half, you can keep the change."
"Truly?!" Yusuke gasped, looking at the money "Once again, I am in your debt Ren."
"Dude I keep telling you, you don't have to worry about it just go and work on your canvas. Make one your parents can be proud of" Ren smiled, making Yusuke nod.
"Indeed, thank you for this opportunity Ren-Kun" Yusuke nodded, running off while Ren waved him bye.
"Huh…" Haru muttered, looking at Ren "He's a lot nicer than I expected…I should head back to Mako-chan."
"What was that about?" Morgana muttered, as he went to follow Haru.
A few minutes later, the park clean up had ended, leading to everyone either heading back up or lining up for their promised meal.
"Ah! Senpai!" Ren heard, as he lined up for his meal before turning around to see Yoshizawa running up to him.
"Hmm? Hey Sumi" Ren waved, as his Kouhai walked up to him.
"Thank goodness I caught up with you, I was worried you had ditched this event" Yoshizawa said, looking up at him.
"And miss seeing my cute Kouhai in her tracksuit, like that'll happen" Ren teased, making Yoshizawa giggle.
"Geez Senpai, don't talk like that, it's weird" Yoshizawa giggled, playfully punching his arm but she was still blushing a bit.
"Hehehe, sorry couldn't help myself" Ren grinned, before something caught the two's attention.
"Wah!" A little kid yelped, as they tripped on the ground and accidentally dropped their balloon.
"Ah!" Yoshizawa blinked, running forward and leaping into the air.
"Woah" Ren said, as Yoshizawa jumped high enough into the air to catch the balloon and land gracefully on the ground, which allowed him to notice something she had dropped "Hmm?"
"Phew, sorry about that Senpai just acting on instinct there" Yoshizawa apologised, after handing the child their balloon back.
"Oh sure I don't mind, Ka~su~mi~" Ren smirked, showing off her student ID.
"Huh? Why are you saying my name like that?" The now named Kasumi questioned, before realising something "Wait, did I never tell you my name?!"
"Nope, you just told me to call you Sumi and that's what I've been calling you this whole time" Ren told her before Kasumi swiftly bowed.
"I am so sorry Senpai! This is really embarrassing! Is there any way I can apologise" Kasumi apologised while Ren moved back.
"Sumi, it's fine, it's fine…but if you're offering…" Ren muttered, making Kasumi look up at him "Your Gymnastic skills were pretty cool back there, mind teaching me some stuff."
"Eh? Really! You're interested in that kind of thing, Senpai?" Kasumi asked, as Ren crossed his arms.
"I used to dance, remember? Besides it could help me out with the hero classes" Ren smiled, striking a pose.
"Of course! I'd be happy too! We can do it right away after our meal" Kasumi smiled, before the two continued talking while waiting in line.
"Dang Ann, you were right those two are cute together" Ryuji admitted, as the two had watched this interaction while eating their meal.
"I know right, it's like pure sugar whenever I see it" Ann grinned wryly while watching the two "I cannot believe those two aren't dating already."
"Don't you think you're pushing them a bit much" Ryuji asked, before moving back at the creepy aura Ann was giving off "Okay never mind, yeesh."
"Anyway, we should be heading off now" Ann said, standing up "If we don't leave now we're going to miss the train to Shiho's hospital."
"Alright, cool" Ryuji nodded, getting up before they walked off.
"Still kind of a coincidence that Ren would befriend the sister of Shiho's roommate" Ann admitted, crossing her arms.
"Yeah that girl's pretty awesome, too bad she couldn't have joined Shujin at the start but hey that's a villain attack for you" Ryuji nodded "Dum…what was her name again?"
"You seriously forgot Ryuji?" Ann said, turning to Ryuji who rubbed his head.
"I'm sorry, I only met her once" Ryuji told her while Ann shook her head and sighed.
"Jeez, what are we going to do with you?" Ann sighed. "Don't forget, it's Yoshizawa Kasumi alright."
"Yoshizawa Kasumi, Yoshizawa Kasumi…okay, got it" Ryuji grinned, nodding to himself "Alright I think got it"
"Good, now let's go," Ann said, as the two walked off.
One hour later
Third person P.O.V.
"Phew!" Ren sighed, after drinking some water and sitting down on a bench.
"Wow Senpai I'm impressed, it's usually a lot more taxing for beginners" Kasumi admitted, sitting next to him.
"Yeah, well I'm used to something" Ren nodded, before side eyeing his Kouhai "Hey you okay? You seemed like you had something on your mind?"
"Ah, it's nothing…actually…do you think I could talk to you about something Senpai?" She asked, making Ren smile.
"Shoot."
"Well you see…I've been feeling like…I've been going through something of a slump as of late" she admitted, looking down. "No matter how much I practise, I can't get any better. I went to talk to my coach about it but she suggested I try taking some time off from Gymnastics, according to her I should try to think about who I really am."
"Now, she's not saying I shouldn't stop doing gymnastics…she just said I need a break…" She explained, as Ren crossed his arms.
"Hmm, yeah I get it…sometimes you just push yourself so hard that sometimes you need to rest, then you can come back even better." Ren explained, making the girl sigh.
"I get that but well, I've never had an issue that practice couldn't solve before…but now, I have no idea what I should do" she sighed, while Ren looked at her.
"Maybe that's exactly it?" Ren suggested, making Kasumi blink as she looked at him "You've been focusing all your energy on Gymnastics right? Maybe she means she wants you to spread your wings and try out something new."
"Huh…that might just be it…" Kasumi muttered, looking down "Um…I don't really know anyone else in school so, think you could help me out Senpai?"
"I'll make sure to keep teaching you Gymnastics, especially since you're a pretty good partner! So will you keep going out with me, Senpai?" she asked, as Ren looked at her.
"Oh wow Sumi, quite a surprising way to confess to me don't you think" Ren told her, making Kasumi blink before pushing him back.
"Hehehe, not like that Senpai geez" she giggled, while Ren also laughed abit.
"You know my coach used to praise me a lot, saying how my greatest weapon was my boldness" Kasumi admitted leaning "And it was true, I used to be way more fearless and confident…Gymnastics was a fun challenge for me!"
"But now things have changed right?" Ren asked, with Kasumi nodding.
"Yeah, ever since I entered high school, I've been in a slump…I got taller, for one and some other things have happened as well…" She said, looking down. "It's like I can't move the way I want to anymore…like it's not even my own body…and because of it…I fell into a depression…a bad one…"
"But back when I saw you during the Hero relay, the way you confidently moved around without a car in the world, fearlessly jumping off cliffs…I couldn't help but think that that's the way I wanna be like for my Gymnastic routines!" she declared "If I stick with you Senpai, I think I can learn how to be confident again!
"Jeez how can I say no after that, just leave it to me alright" Ren smirked, pointing a thumb at himself.
"Yes! Thank you Senpai" Kasumi smiled "I honestly didn't think you'd accept, you really are a weird one Senpai."
"Well apparently I partake in money laundering, smuggling, murder, licenceless driving and elephant tusk trafficking so can't exactly say it's inaccurate" Ren jokes, which made Kasumi laugh.
"Man, you really never let anyone bring you down neh Senpai" Kasumi smiled, "I promise you I'll make sure to make our training the best it can be for our deal."
'You've already helped me more than enough, Sumi' Ren smiled, before hearing an alarm coming from Kasumi's phone.
"Oh! That's for Gymnastics, I should go now, see you next time Senpai" she said, running off while Ren waved her bye.
"Huu…" Ren muttered, leaning back and resting his eyes for a moment before getting up.
"Guess I should go see what Yusuke's doing" he shrugged, before walking up to where the boat's area was while typing on his phone.
City
Third person P.O.V.
"Hmm…" Morgana muttered, as he tailed Haru and Makoto who were walking through Shibuya.
"And that's everything I managed to get from them Mako-chan" Makoto said, while Makoto crossed her arms.
"So if they are the Phantom Thieves…then Sakamoto wants to stop people from abusing their power and Takamaki want to give people courage to go for their dreams" Makoto muttered, crossing her arms "It's certainly a lot more honourable than I originally expected, but it's not enough to fully confirm they are the Phantom Thieves."
"Hmm… I'm not too sure exactly, we need proper evidence they are the Phantom Thieves…our best possible option would be tailing them and waiting for them to slip up" Makoto mumbled making Haru smile.
"Oooh like secret spies! That sounds fun" Haru giggled, while Makoto sweatdropped "It's not meant to be exciting Haru."
"Hmm?" The two blinked, as they saw a large group of people standing around looking up at the large screen on the building."
Walking up to the group, the two were shocked at what they saw.
On the screen was Madarame, sitting on a white table with several mics and several flashes from cameras being heard.
"I…I commited crimes that are unbecoming of an artist…plainly put…I um…plagiarised my works…" Madarame admitted, looking down.
"From the very beginning…I use the works…of a dear friend who lost his life…taking his name and selling the works as my own…and once my works came out there…I continued doing this…taking the works of my students who looked up to me!".
"I-I…tainted this…this country's art world…and even the Sayuri…the final work of the woman I loved…and the wife of the man who's besmirched…"
"H-How could I…possibly…apologise- to everyone for what I've done! Stealing my students' works and using my Quirk to trap those who tried getting back at me in tombs of their own art! WHAT HAVE I DONE! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
"Oh my god…" Haru muttered, as the two looked at each other.
"It has to be them…" Makoto nodded, before they continued watching.
"And that was from the urgent apology conference by Madarame that took place just a moment ago" The news reporter said, as he explained the situation "After reporting to the association, Madarame has agreed to the police's request to turn himself in."
"On top of charges of abuse to his pupils and claiming their work as his own, Madarame has also illegally utilised his Quirk of entering into paintings to trap some of his students inside and selling off the works. The police are currently one pieces that they can to free them from this prison"
"Dang, he's freaking crazy" "Imagine what that would be like, trapped in there for so long…"
"Even the fact that his most famous work, the Sayuri, was in fact not stolen but simply used as a story to drive up interested as he sold off copies to whoever could afford it, this large scale criminal act has caused a great shock to the art world, and… after the conference Madarame was taken to a Police Hospital for interrogation due to his age."
"However, initial psych evaluations state that he is mentally sound and likely responsible for his actions"
"Tch, why are they acting so nice to an old geezer like that" "Why'd he spill the beans anyway? Doesn't that seem weird?"
"Also, a new unrecognised Vigilante Team calling themselves the 'Phantom Thieves of Heart's' had posted a dubious note outside Madarame's exhibit detailing the crimes Madarame had commited, even the one''s Madarame had kept secret from everyone"
Makoto and Haru's eyes widened after they heard that, before trying to listen in for more.
"The Police and Heroes will be investigating their relation to this case, but for now did not identity them as suspects"
"Phantom Thieves? What, new Villains? Do they have something to do with that old geezer's apology?"
"Must be some kind of psychic quirk, forced him to confess everything"
"Ooh I heard about them, they have a website and supposedly steal evil hearts; it's why the culprits apologies"
"Wait what? Steal Hearts? What kind of creepy Quirk is that?!"
"I think I saw something like that online. It'd be impressive if it was true."
Makoto and Haur looked at each other, before nodding their heads and walking off.
As they did we see Akechi standing there in his U.A. uniform with a frown on his face "Phantom Thieves huh?"

Sorry this one took awhile, I had most of it done but got stuck during the Haru scene's and I wanted to take a break to work on my other stories again.
But now I'm back and better than ever, with a brand new twist you never saw coming.
That's right, OG Kasumi is alive in this story. Why? Well I thought since technology was a lot more advanced than in our world it could have saved her.
Plus I thought this could be a neat change to the main story's plot and would allow me to do new things with Sumire.
