Chapter 10 Fish and Cogs

Dipper made himself a loincloth from some furs before he consulted his map and made his way to a tower called Bat's Tower surrounded by river. He made his way to the tower and river and came across a pier. Dipper looked into the water and saw some weird fish with catfish heads swimming around.
"Catfish." Said Dipper.
The Catfish took notice of Dipper and swam over to him.
"Well aren't you a nice looking chap. Can you help some ladies retrieve some money, we will gladly cut you in by 10 percent." Said the Catfish who seemed to be the leader.
"I can see if I can find your money. Is it in the tower?" Said Dipper.
"It is. There's a entrance to the inside the tower beneath the water, but be warned there's a viscous beast named Brute guarding it, though he is tied up for the moment. We're just too scared to go near it." Said the catfish leader.
"Alright, I'll see about getting your money." Said Dipper.
"Splendid." Said the Catfish leader.
Dipper dove into the water and began to swim towards the tower. He looked beneath the water and saw what appeared to be a shark-bulldog hybrid roped up to a wall with what appeared to be a doghouse nearby. That had to be Brute. Brute barked angrily at Dipper and tugged on the rope trying to get at Dipper, but couldn't. Dipper let out a sigh and located the hole that was the entrance hole to the tower. He swam through it and came into a room full of gears. Dipper climbed out of the water and looked around. He saw a couple of big cogs near a door. One cog was gigantic with eyes and a mustache with a smaller one that had eyes and appeared to have two faces. The current face had a glare on it and was smoking a cigar.
"Who the hell are you? Scram you bum!" Yelled the cog.
"I'm Dipper. Can you open the door to let me in?" Said Dipper.
"No way in hell you bastard! Now piss off or I'll kick your ass!" Said the cog.
The cog then spun and the other face took over. It looked calmer and was smoking a cigarette with a cigarette holder.
"Sorry about my other halves behavior. My name is Quentin and my other half is named Carl. Normally I would gladly open the door for you, but I need the assistance of my coworkers and Carl's lady friends to do that. If you don't get them back, the door won't open and my life will be a misery. It already is." Said Quentin.
"Do you know where I can find them?" Asked Dipper.
"Oh there are somewhere in this tower. Climb and look around and I'm sure you'll find something." Said Quentin.
"Now scram you piss ant asshole!" Said Carl taking over.
Dipper looked around and found a ladder to climb. He climbed it and reached a platform with a lever. Dipper pulled the lever and heard the sound of something opening up down below. He went to investigate it and found a panel opened up to reveal a new water tunnel to explore. Dipper took a deep breath and dove into the water and swam through it coming across a new chamber. This one had a trio of smaller cogs sitting around a table drinking tea. One was red, another was blue, and the last was green. The three cogs also had long eyelashes and wore what appeared to be lipstick. The trio must have been ladies and they must be the missing cogs.
"We have a guest." Said the blue cog.
"Um...hi my name is Dipper and you must be Carl's friends." Said Dipper.
"We not going back!" Yelled the red cog.
"Please I need to get through the door to rescue a girl that's been taken captive." Said Dipper.
"Why should we help you?" Asked the green cog.
"Because Carl will just send someone to come get you. Wouldn't it be better to deal with Carl then simply run away from him?" Said Dipper.
"The boy has a point." Said the blue cog.
"Alright we will help you." Said green cog.
"Great thanks." Said Dipper.
After a few quick trips and swims the lady cogs were back in the machine and they were all spinning. The door slowly began to open and then Dipper's loincloth got Yankee off and pulled into the machine! Dipper blushed as he covered himself and heard Carl laugh at him. The door was then fully opened and the machine came to a sudden stop and Carl flew off and crashed into a wall. The loincloth fell to the ground as the lady cogs jumped off the wall. Dipper quickly put the loincloth back on as the lady cogs surrounded Carl and proceeded to beat him senseless!
"What the hell did I do to deserve this?!" Wailed Carl.
"It's probably a long list." Thought Dipper.
The lady cogs finished beating Carl up and carried him to the big cog with the mustache and placed him on his face. Now Carl looked like a pacifier being sucked on by the big cog and he was not happy about it.
"Oh no! Not Mr. Big Cog! That's me buggered! I'm out of here!" Yelled Carl in dismay before changing back into Quentin.
"I say, I don't know what his problem is. I find it rather delicious." Said Quentin looking rather happy about the situation.
"Come on girls, we're going on vacation." Said red cog as she and the other cogs left the scene.
"Time to move on, I got some imps to beat and a girl to save." Said Dipper as he continued on with his journey.
