A/N: For those reading on Wattpad I have included an image of Kara's and her and Stoick's children hair and eye colors. Even though Ram and Jaime are twins Ragnor and Herold have the similar hair and eye color yet look completely different. Ram and Jaime are identical except for their hair and eye color. I may also do this for the other characters I have created, idk yet. The app I used was very unhelpful so I'm sorry for those with OCD. I do have a question for you all, I haven't quite decided yet if I should include Ram and Jaime in the series as dragon riders. Obviously they'll still be fairly important but idk if I should include them. The heirs are also a bit of a toss up but I think they'll be included along with a few of their tribemates. Kara had tried to get it out of her multiple times and failed. At first she wanted to break her fingers but decided against it as it would hinder her work more than help it. So she did a few minor cuts and poured sea water over top of the fresh cuts, she was unsatisfied when she barely got a reaction from Hiccup. Kara had switched to a whip and while she got a bigger reaction from Hiccup it was still small and she still had no answer to her question.

Kara had whipped her until she passed out and had even tried to catch Hiccup off guard by pouring cold seawater on her. Kara hadn't let Gothi in to look at her back and she knew that she'd be lucky if she didn't get an infection.

After a week and Kara had given her a change of clothes before she demanded Hiccup clean up the chief's hut before going to help Gothi or Gobber. Ram and Jaime had even come to visit her while she was in prison and had taunted her. They called her nothing more than a caged animal and that the pain would've stopped at any moment if she would've just come clean. They also told her that dragon training was going much better now that she wasn't there to screw things up.

When Kara unlocked her cell Hiccup was immediately expected on her feet and Kara refused to allow her to be treated.

Hiccup was moving slower with the chores she had been tasked to do and she certainly didn't miss the smirk that Kara sent her way whenever she grimaced in pain. Kara had even made sure to give her the most outlandish tasks on top of the usual ones. Soon enough Kara was done with her and sent her off to the forge.

"Nice to see that you're finally out of the brig! I need you to take care of that entire bucket right there! The Thorston twins keep going through their weapons like sticks during training." Hiccup just nods and gets to work. Gobber notices that she's moving sluggish. "Kara did a number on you, didn't she? Did she at least get an answer out of you?"

Hiccup looks up from her weapons to look into her room at the forge. "I take it she tried to find any evidence in my room and it's been ransacked of anything perceived as valuable?"

Gobber looks at the busted door and the room that looks as though a tornado swept through it. "That wasn't Kara's handiwork. She had the teens try and find anything but I don't think they did. Now who is this boy that has you quiet? I told you something and it's only fair that you share."

"You told me of your own free will. Besides who can I tell that my room was ransacke and destroyed? No one. Whereas you can tell the world and you will because your loyalty is to my father and Kara above anyone else! I'm allowed to keep information to myself!"

"So you're planning to run off with this nobody ? Hoping that he takes you off this island and sets you free, aren't you?" Hiccup just glares at her work before she continues to pound out the sword she was working on. Gobber glares at the girl for her insolence and approaches her. She doesn't even flinch and he smacks his prosthetic down in front of her. "You cannot get away with this sort of disrespect! Your mother would be so ashamed!"

Hiccup looks up at him. "I never knew her but I'm sure that she would be the only person that would actually care about me! I'm sure she looks down from Valhalla now and is taking my side more often than not! Her only child is being mistreated by the tribe she married into! Her husband practically abandoned the child they had together for his new wife and their children simply for the fact that his new wife was strong enough to bear him four healthy sons and a daughter rather than a weak sickly daughter whose only worth would be on the birthing bed if they just find some poor soul to marry her!"

This time it's Gobber who flinches at her tone and her words. "Bah! To the living you're nothing but a burden who is lucky to be alive right now!"

"I accept that fact! You're the ones who can't accept the fact that I've been through so much abuse and torture that nothing really phases me anymore. You can do your worst but my mouth will be firmly kept shut! Even if I was locked up the rest of my life I'd die with all of my secrets still in tact."

"Would your boy though? Or would he try and come to your rescue only to die in vain?"

"I guess we'll never find out Gobber."

The two then go back to work in a tense silence.

Kara eventually fetches Hiccup from the forge and makes her go back home to make the family a meal. Before Hiccup leaves she hears Kara asking Gobber if Hiccup had given him any information and he tells her no.

Kara tried once again at dinner to try and get the information from Hiccup by pouring scalding water on her but Hiccup did nothing more than let a little sound out of her mouth before dismissing herself. Gothi had been at this dinner and had whacked the girl telling her to meet her at her hut where she would heal her. Hiccup told her thanks and nodded before she left.

Hiccup had started a fire in Gothi's hut and had used a small handheld mirror to look at her back. It looked horrible and she knew it would scar. It was another blemish and imperfection that was added to her skin because she refused to give up information. If she had told any of them that it was Dagur they wouldn't believe her or they'd even try to marry her off to a different tribe just so she wouldn't have any sort of happiness. If she was given to any other man she'd be mistreated worse than she was on Berk and if she were to fall pregnant with his child it would be a death sentence for her. Her only hope would be that the child would die with her so they wouldn't live in a world of torment.

No the only life that would end in happiness would be with Dagur. However, she had a new problem now. Dagur is a notorious dragon killer, what would he think of her trying to train a dragon instead of just killing it? While she is lost in thought is when Gothi enters and she makes Hiccup take off her bindings and her shirt. Gothi had seen worse injuries than this before but she still winces from the state of Hiccup's back.

Gothi isn't too gentle but Hiccup can feel a bit of stinging with the salve but it also feels like a relief as well. Gothi then sends her to her bed and she obliges, at least until she hears Gothi going to bed herself. When she hears Gothi's breathing change she sneaks out into the woods. She had made sure to grab another barrel of fish to make it up to Toothless.

The moon was high in the sky when she finally reached the cove. The dragon had cooed in concern when he smelt and saw the tiny human.

"Hey, Buddy. I'm sorry I disappeared on you. I can't promise it won't happen again either, they're trying to get information out of me and right now it's probably the second most important secret I have. The first being you."

Toothless coos at her and approaches her and even nuzzles her hands before he smells the fish. She notices this and immediately dumps the fish out for him which he gladly accepts and begins to eat. Hiccup uses that time to look at his tailfin with the moonlight. The tail looks like it'll be a perfect fit, it may be slightly bigger than his actual tailfin but hopefully that'll balance it a bit more, if anything she could always make the adjustments once she actually got more air time with him.

Toothless finishes eating the fish in no time and turns his head to see what she's looking at and moves his tail. "I know Buddy, I'm trying to think of a solution that will get us both in the air. A rope may work but it won't offer enough stability but a rope would give me the best idea on how to get you up in the air again. Of course, I'll also have to make a saddle for you as well."

Toothkless nods and gives her a toothless smile. The two spend a majority of the night together before Hiccup heads back to Gothi's hut. It takes her longer than she expects it to so when she returns to the hut she begins to pull out any of the ingredients for potions that Gothi is running low on. She also makes more of her burn salve as she had been going through it a lot more with dragon training going on and she was sure Gothi's stash was depleting faster than they could account for as well.

When Gothi wakes up she nods at Hiccup before looking over the work she had done. Gothi also takes an inventory of her supplies before she makes a list and sends Hiccup off with it. She also gives Hiccup a few coins for the supplies that she'd have to buy as well. She also gives her permission to keep the few coins that would be left over.

Before Hiccup leaves Gothi looks over Hiccup's back and reapplies some more salve and wraps the bandages a bit too tight. Before Hiccup can complain she is ushered out.

Hiccup easily goes to the market and grabs what supplies she can. Whatever she can't get from the market she looks for on the traders' boats. It was during that same time that she saw that the people were lined up as Johann was about to dock. As much as she wanted to wait with them she couldn't or else it would only confirm their suspicions that she had an admirer. She noticed Gobber and Kara in the crowd as well and she knew that Kara especially would try and buy whatever gift was meant for Hiccup as she had countless times before. It had never worked though because Dagur paid Johann a pretty hefty sum to make sure that only Hiccup received the gift. Berk's coffers could not compare to that of the Berserkers and for every package that safely got to and from Berk and Talon Johann received a few extra gold coins or better trading material.

When Hiccup looks at her list again she has everything but one item that wasn't native to Berk. Everything else she would be able to go into the woods and collect. She heads back up to Gothi's with the supplies she was able to get and lets Gothi know she got all but one item of the non-native Berk herbs, Hiccup also let her know that she'd be going into the woods to collect the rest of the herbs. Gothi simply nods and Hiccup is dismissed.

It takes three hours before Hiccup has all but that final ingredient and so she goes to see if Johann has it on his ship. He did along with a letter and a gift from Dagur. While there were no Hooligan ears on the ship Hiccup quiets him and tells him she'll be back for it later and just takes the herb after listening to one of his stories.

As soon as she was off of the ship was when trouble struck in teh form of her younger half-siblings. All of them.

Jaime and Ram had grabbed either of her arms and Rayna grabbed the basket. The other two boys and Rayna had begun to go through the basket being careless with the herbs.

"There's nothing in there! Be careful with those herbs!"

When they found nothing of interest Rayna began to search all of her pockets and still they found nothing as she hadn't been given her sketchbook back. The two middle boys took that as their cue and had stopped on the herbs that Hiccup had just spent the time gathering. Ram and Jaime also took that time to slam her onto the ground. The leftover coins were nothing but a few pennies that they took no interest in. Ram pushes Hiccup into the ground and steps on her back as he passes her, Jaime following his lead.

They leave her bored and she begins to pick up the herbs, some were salvageable, some were not. Luckily the ones she just paid a pretty sum from Johann were just fine. The ones she couldn't salvage she would have to go back into the forest for which would put her even more behind on the rest of her tasks.

Another hour later and she finally returned to Gothi who gave her a look of disapproval. Gothi then sent her off to go to Gobber or Kara. She decided to go to the chief's hut in the hopes that Kara wouldn't be there. Of course, her luck had never been that good and Kara made sure to aggravate her wounds. Soon enough she was sent to help Gobber and they worked halfway into the night.

When Gobber finally dismissed her she went into her still destroyed room and moved the stuff from her small cot to her desk and she passed out from exhaustion from there.
