Chapter 1: Founding Day
Project CADMUS
20:00
Washington DC
"KARA!" A young man in a black armored suit, cape, and domino mask yelled at the closing gate.
"What the," Superboy looked back to the trapped heroes.
"Don't look at us," Robin hopped out of the pod, rubbing his wrist. "Man, good thing Batman isn't here; he'd have my head for taking that long to pick the lock."
"Dude, not what we should be worried about right now," Kid Flash glared at Robin.
"You free Kid Mouth and Aqualad, I'll check in our new guest." Robin rushed past Superboy
"Don't you give me orders too," Superboy grumbled but was promptly ignored.
"Hey, uh, you okay, dude?" Robin cautiously stepped up to him.
"I," he looked around confused, "where am I?"
"Project Cadmus Washington DC," Robin answered.
"What?" He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples.
"Maybe we can talk about it later. We need to go!" Kid Flash rushed past the two in a blur.
"Right," the mysterious man stood up, revealing the stylized X across his chest. "Name's Red X, let's get out of here."
"Robin," the boy wonder grinned and pointed at Aqualad, "Aqualad, the angry one next to him is Superboy, and the speedster is Kid Flash."
"Let's all shake hands after we're out," Red X sprinted after Kid Flash with everyone else in tow.
"We're still forty levels below ground if we can-" Aqualad gritted his teeth as they all slid to a stop. Four massive genomorphs blocked the way, and the glowing pods around them hatched smaller but still deadly-looking genomorphs.
"Rah!" Superboy launched himself at the first hulking behemoth, punching it across the snout and knocking it to the ground. The second beast immediately pounced on him, slamming him against the ground.
"Move!" Red X rushed forward as the third monster lunged at him. He jumped, pushed off the wall, and flipped over the monster, slapping its back and leaving behind an X-shaped shuriken. The shuriken beeped before emitting an electric discharge. The beast roared and thrashed, knocking itself into the fourth genomorph. Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Robin maneuver around the giants to catch up with Red X. "Nice moves!" Robin smirked.
"Rah!" Superboy roared, smashing the first genomorph against the wall and shaking the Hall before delivering two punches, dislodging part of the tunnel above.
"Hey, watch it, we're trying to escape!" Red X shouted at the clone.
"You want to escape!" Superboy roared, picked the genomorph by the arm, and slammed it against the recovering three blocking the tunnel.
"He's an angry one," Kid Flash whistled as Aqualad pried the elevator doors open.
"Let us leave this place at once," Aqualad motioned to the impromptu exit. Kid Flash jumped up using his speed, and Robin fired a grapple line.
"Come on!" Superboy grabbed Red X and Aqualad by the waist and leaped into the air.
"Whoa, incoming!" Robin pointed at the fast-approaching freight elevator.
Superboy stopped midair and flew back down to the others. "Here!" He let his two passengers step on a ledge and slammed open two doors labeled SL-15. Everyone leaped in right before the elevator crushed them. Immediately, they were set upon by more genomorphs coming from the far end of the Hall they found themselves in. With few options left, they went right into the nearest Hall. "Go left!" Superboy barked, and they swerved into the following Hall. They ran down the Hall, genomorph hissing and growling coming closer. "Right!" They rounded one more corner before stopping at a wall.
"Great directions; you trying to get us re-podded, Supey?" Kid Flash pointed a finger at Superboy.
"No, I-" Superboy looked confused and embarrassed at his companions.
"No, we're good, look!" Red X pointed at the ventilation shaft just above them.
"Nice!" Robin leaped up, pulling the vent cover off, and they all rushed in after him.
Elsewhere, Doctor Desmond smirked at the bathroom vent above him. "They'll be coming out here; get ready!" There was loud, rushed shuffling coming from the vent, and then it exploded outwards with genomorphs falling over Doctor Desmond. "Grr, Robin hacked the motion sensors!" He smacked his fist against the ground. Guardian helped up Desmond who wrenched his arm free of Guardian.
"Don't worry Doc, we'll cut them off at Sub Leve 1." Guardian stepped back.
"Good, but I need to stop by Project Blockbuster for a little insurance," Desmond stalked off, leaving Guardian to the pursuit.
"I hacked the motion sensors," Robin grinned at his friends and companions. They had come out of their vent just outside an emergency exit.
"Sweet," Kid Flash pulled on his goggles, "and I finally got room to move," he stepped past the exit door and ran up the stairs.
"Hop on!" Superboy extended his arms, and Aqualad and Red X stepped up, slinging their arms over Superboy's shoulders. Robin hopped on his back, hooking his arms around his neck, and they flew up.
"Heads up!" Robin pointed down.
"Got it!" Red X threw two X shurikens against a passing staircase. They beeped before exploding, collapsing the stairs and cutting off their pursuing genomorphs. Superboy dropped them off at the top of the stairs where Kid Flash had already run out of the door. They followed in just in time to see him smash against a closing bulkhead. "We're cut off from the street," Aqualad glared.
"Thanks," Kid Flash rubbed his head, "my head hadn't noticed."
"Can't hack this fast enough," Robin clenched his teeth and turned to the sound of hissing and growls behind them. "In here!" he kicked an adjacent door open, and they all rushed in.
"Uh oh," Red X raised his hands in a combat stance. All around them were genomorphs and one of the people he briefly saw when he came here. "Looks like we're fighting our way out," Red X prepared to make the first move, but a forced shadow cowled his mind, and he and everyone else lost consciousness.
"I think our brother should choose what needs to be done for himself." A slender genomorph walked up from the gathered group.
"You," Superboy was the first awakened from the forced unconsciousness.
"Yes, I set the fire that brought your new friends here. Although the one that appeared from nowhere was certainly unexpected. But nevertheless, it was also I who awoke your friends when they were in danger."
"Why?" Superboy stood up, rubbing his head, "Why do any of this?"
"Because you are the hope of the genomorphs, our one hero, brother. So you must choose servitude to those in Cadmus or freedom." The slender genomorph looked into Superboy's eyes. Something strange erupted in Superboy's chest. A feeling unlike any other, one he had been described but never felt. Hope swelled in his chest, and the choice was obvious to him. "I choose… freedom!"
"Then go in peace, brother, and be the hope of the genomorph people." The slender genomorph lifted the forced unconsciousness on the rest of the young heroes, and they stood up with mild headaches at most. "Guardian?" Aqualad cautiously addressed the man in the gold helmet.
"It's like a fog being lifted," Guardian rubbed his temples as the little genomorph on his shoulder hopped off. "Go," he shook his head. "I'll take care of Desmond," he nodded to the heroes.
"I think not," the genomorphs parted ways to reveal Doctor Desmond with a vial of blue liquid in his hand. "I should have known it was you, Dubbilex, who betrayed Cadmus. But with project Blockbuster, I shall bring order to Cadmus!" He drank the vial in its entirety and began convulsing. He fell to his knees and hands as Desmond's body convulsed and underwent rapid muscle mass growth. His clothes ripped apart as his muscles expanded. He grew a solid foot, and his skin peeled off to reveal a new leathery hide. Desmond stood, bits of skin and cloth clinging to his new body. His eyes had blackened, and his iris dilated into red pupils. Desmond stood reborn into a monster and roared savagely.
"Everyone get back!" Guardian rushed Desmond but was swatted aside by a vicious backhand that smacked him against a wall unconscious.
"Raah!" Superboy rushed in blindingly fast, delivering a left hook to Desmond's face. The monster barely staggered before delivering an uppercut to Superboy's chin, knocking him off balance. Superboy recovered, throwing a right haymaker at Desmond, who caught it before punching Superboy in the chest, sending him crashing against the opposite wall. "Rraah!" Superboy roared and pushed off the ground to attack from above. Desmond jumped up, tackling Superboy through the ceiling into the surface above.
"Okay, that's one way to get above." Robin aimed his grappling gun through the hole.
"You think he planned that?" Kid Flash asked.
"I don't think he's planning anything anymore," Aqualad shook his head.
"Ditto," Red X tapped his utility belt's buckle, and its x emblem glowed red. He jumped up through the hole, surprising the other young heroes. They joined him up above but didn't press him for answers. Up top, he pressed the buckle again and rotated his shoulders. As he did, the rest of his new companions joined him just in time to have Superboy thrown against them, sending them all sprawling to the ground.
"Okay, let's take this guy down," Robin rubbed his head as everyone stood back up. Desmond stepped over the hole he created, his ugly face twisted into what could almost be described as a smile.
"Let's tussle ugly!" Kid Flash ran at him in a blur. Desmond threw a wild left, and Kid Flash slid between his legs. Superboy and Aqualad leaped forward and punched Desmond's face, making him stumble backward over Kid Flash, who crouched below him, tripping him onto his back. "Learn that in kindergarten," Kid Flash smirked.
Red X and Robin jumped, throwing a pair of shurikens each. Desmond rolled over, bringing his arm up, his thick skin deflecting the shuriken. Superboy came up to follow up, but Desmond rushed up, tackling him into a pillar and cracking it. "Rrrah!" Superboy threw a cross hook to Desmond's face. He only roared and delivered a vicious gut punch, driving Superboy further into the pillar.
"Enough!" Aqualad rushed up behind Desmond. Using his weapons, he formed his stored water into a hammer, smashing Desmond across the back of his head. Desmond staggered, and Superboy was able to plant his feet against Desmond's stomach and kick him off.
"Raah!" Superboy flew with his fist extended, catching Desmond in the face and sending him rolling back. Red X, seemingly in sync with Robin, flanked him, throwing shuriken that exploded when they hit Desmond, engulfing him in flames and a cloud of smoke.
"Think that did it?" Kid Flash ran up next to Aqualad.
"RRRAAAAAH!" Desmond roared as he broke through the smoke, tackling Superboy through a pillar into the next. The impact shook the mezzanine above them, dislodging it slightly out of place.
"Fall!" Aqualad rushed to help Superboy, forming his weapon into a mace. Desmond grabbed Superboy by the scruff of his suit and tossed him violently at Aqualad, sending them into a heap. Kid Flash followed up, punching Desmond across the face.
Kid Flash turned and looked to his fist, where a piece of Desmond's skin hung loose. "Hey, got your nose ugly!"
"We need a plan fast," Red X said to all gathered.
"Indeed," Aqualad rubbed his head and groaned as he and Superboy stood back up.
"The plan is I smash his head!" Superboy took a step forward.
"Wait, I got it!" Robin brought up his holo terminal on his gauntlet, showing the six pillars in the room they were fighting. "Superboy, Aqualad, keep him busy, Red X," Robin showed him the schematic, and Red X smirked.
"Let's do it," Red X rushed off to the right, producing four shurikens from his utility belt.
"Come and get me ugly!" Kid Flash stopped behind a pillar, only for Desmond to smash through it. Kid Flash rolled forward back onto his feet. He turned and braced as Desmond, without losing momentum, rushed Kid Flash and threw his hand back for a punch.
"Try me on for size ugly!" Superboy tackled Desmond just in time, sending them both sprawling with Superboy atop Desmond. Superboy roared furiously, punching the downed Desmond repeatedly. The monster snarled and threw a wild haymaker, connecting with Superboy's cheek and throwing him off Desmond.
"KF!" Robin called out, gesturing to an x he drew on the ground.
Kid Flash grinned and threw a thumbs up before grabbing some fallen debris and throwing it at Desmond. "Over here, baldy!" Kid Flash used his speed to pick up and throw several stones, annoying Desmond enough to charge him.
"Aqualad," Robin stepped out of the way. Aqualad shot a stream of water at the marked spot. Kid Flash turned, sliding to a stop through the spot, smirking at Desmond. Super Boy jumped forward from behind Kid Flash, punching Desmond in the face, knocking him on his back, and sliding across the large puddle. Aqualad's tattoos glowed a bright blue, and he placed his hands on the puddle, sending an electric current through it. Desmond roared in pain as he was shocked mercilessly.
"Get clear!" Robin yelled as his and Red X's explosives went off on the last standing pillars. The entire building shook; Aqualad ran past the downed Desmond to his friends. The ceiling collapsed first above Desmond before the whole structure gave way. Superboy and Aqualad dove over Robin, Red X, and Kid Flash, using their sturdier frames and strength to protect them. The entire Cadmus building crumbled on top of them in seconds.
Minutes later, Superboy and Aqualad pushed off a huge piece of concrete, revealing everyone was no worse for wear. Superboy sighed and wiped his brow before looking up to the moon above. His eyes widened, and his mouth opened slightly.
"Well, there you have, Supey," Kid Flash walked up to him, gesturing to the sky. "The moon."
Superboy blinked before focusing his vision as a shadow appeared before the moon and grew closer. Superboy gasped in awe as Superman flew down to meet them.
"Hey, and there's Superman. Do we keep our promises or what?" Kid Flash smirked.
"Superman?" Red X's eyes shot up as the Kryptonian flew down towards them. He also noticed Superman wasn't alone. The Heroes of the Justice League landed down around them. With the chaos of his arrival over, he finally allowed the confusion of his situation to sink in. He didn't recognize anything about this place. The Cadmus facility here was not the one he first came here. Four years wouldn't have changed that. More importantly, Superman resembled the Kryptonian he freed, but clearly not a broken mess like Red X had found him. And who were the others? Two in black and green had a lantern symbol on their chest. A man and woman with wings, a stage magician? A man in a silver suit with red boots and gloves. Red X's eyes widened, and his mouth hung open slightly. Wonder Woman, but why was she here? To his right, he also showed up Batman. But this was all wrong; none of this made sense! Even more so when Aquaman looked different from when he had seen him.
"Uh, Red, you good?" Kid Flash walked to Red X.
"I, where," everything started spinning momentarily before Aqualad moved to support him.
"Calm yourself, Red X. Are you injured?" Aqualad held his shoulders.
"No, sorry," Red X regained his composure and shook his head. "Just overwhelmed, is all."
Superboy briefly looked back at Red X, and Red X nodded that he was alright. Superboy nodded and then stepped up to Superman, whose expression was unreadable. He couldn't think of what to say, finally meeting the man he felt he knew but didn't. Instead, Superboy looked down to his tattered suit and lifted the flap to show the shield. Superman's face switched to shock before he recovered and looked impassively at Superboy.
"Is that what I think it is," Batman stepped up.
"He doesn't like being called it," Kid Flash said behind his hand at Batman.
"I am Superboy, a clone of Superman," finally Superboy spoke up, puffing his chest out, seemingly proud of the statement.
Batman looked at all gathered and simply said, "Start talking."
It took some time, but the young heroes told their tale of capture, sudden appearance, and escape from Cadmus. Then the Leaguers talked to each other, leaving the young group to their own devices. Superboy kept glancing at Superman, his expression something between anger and hurt.
"Before things progress any further, Red X, can you tell us where you came from?" Aqualad looked to Red X.
"Also, who is this Kara? You yelled out her name when you zipped into existence." Robin asked next.
"Sorry," Red X shook his head, "I can't remember; it's all just a blank." Red X looked down at his hands. "I remember a gate, then a bright light." Red X shrugged and shook his head. "That's all I got for now."
"Well, let's see what the League says; for now, you can come back with us to the Hall of Justice and see what the League has to say about your situation." Robin nodded, then nudged Kid Flash, and they all turned to see Superman walk towards their group. Superboy turned to him with crossed arms, not meeting the man of steel's gaze.
"We'll figure something out for you, uh, the League will. For both of you," Superman made sure to address Red X as well.
"Well, I ain't got anywhere else to go," Red X shrugged with half a smile.
"In the meantime, I better make sure that Blockbuster creature gets saddled, soh, uh, bye for now." Awkwardly, Superman flew off behind the Green Lanterns with Desmond imprisoned in a construct. The Leaguers moved to secure the area, and Batman approached the group.
"Cadmus will be investigated, all 52 levels, but let's make one thing clear." Batman's eyes narrowed.
"You should have called!" Flash stepped up behind Batman.
"We are not happy. You disobeyed direct orders, and you will not be doing this again." Batman's neutral expression turned darker.
"Apologies, Batman, but we will." Aqualad shook his head in disagreement.
"Aqualad, stand down," Aquaman walked up next to Batman.
"I'm sorry, my King, but I shall not. We did good work here today. Together, we forged something powerful, something meaningful." Aqualad raised his arms before balling his hands into fists. "We were trained for this and will not back down."
"If this is about your treatment at the hall, the three of you," Flash intervened.
"The five of us," Kid Flash grinned at Superboy and Red X.
"Batman, we are ready to use what you taught us. Otherwise, why teach us at all?" Robin stepped up to his mentor.
"Gr, why let them tell us what to do?" Superboy raised his fist. "it's simple: get on board or get out of the way." Superboy stepped between his newfound friends and Batman.
"What I can remember is this, you can learn a lot about a person fighting at their side. So I'm with you guys, through and through." Red X took a stance next to his new companions. Behind him, Wonder Woman's eyes widened slightly, the words all too familiar with her.
However, Batman's lips pulled down further, staring down the teens before him despite his withering glare that made criminals shudder. They stood firm, and Batman felt an odd sense of pride swell in his chest. "Fine," he said simply without elaborating. "Happy Harbor, five days from now. Be there,' Batman walked off with the Leaguers, who immediately asked questions.
"So," Red X started, "what did I sign myself up to exactly?" Red X raised a brow.
"Come on, man," Kid Flash nudged him with his elbow. "you're gonna go dressed all Batman-like and not know what we mean?"
"yeah," Robin smirked. "We're heroes now, the real deal."
"Heroes," Red X mulled the word in his mouth. "Alright, yeah, I guess we are." Red X looked at Superboy, who shrugged, going along with it. "Uhm, where do Superboy and I crash for now?" Red X asked.
"Good question; you guys need a place." Kid Flash hummed in thought. "Well, it's not ideal, but I got an idea." Kid Flash grinned.
Hall of Justice
19:00
Washington DC
"I feel like I'm at a zoo," Red X looked up at the transparent windows above.
"Never been to one," Superboy said from his seat, reading a book.
"Well, we're on the wrong side of the Glass when it comes to that, let me tell you." Red X sighed, sat on the couch beside Superboy, and propped his feet on the center table. With Superboy engrossed in his reading, Red X closed his eyes to gather his thoughts.
Okay, I'm not home anymore. But home is gone; the gate didn't take me through time. I think I'm in a different reality; what else explains all these changes. There is no war here; I mean, for Hera's sake, Aquaman and… Wonder Woman are in the same team. What's up with this world? It's so damn… normal. Well, Cadmus making monsters notwithstanding. Kara, you saved me from doom, but without you with me, what am I even doing? A tight feeling gripped Red X's chest, and he sat up, shaking his head. No, I can't let my guard down or let the emotions in. I need to figure myself out. Red X stood up, went to a nearby terminal, and typed away, looking up this place's history. As he read through pages of world events, something became clear. Themyscira isn't isolated, and rather than contacting the Atlanteans, they made first contact with the rest of humanity. But if Wonder Woman is here, then Hyppolita still leads the Amazons. There was no infidelity, no murder; it was all different. Red X pursed his lips and searched one last thing.
"Thomas Wayne, father of Bruce Wayne, and his wife Martha Wayne were murdered in Crime Alley nearly 30 years ago. Their son Bruce Wayne was left an orphan to be raised by the family butler Alfred Pennyworth." Red X rested his chin between his folded pointer finger and thumb. He leaned back in his seat, trying to process what he read.
"I don't exist here," Red X muttered to himself.
"What do you mean by that?" Superboy asked from his seat.
Crap, super hearing. I completely forgot about that! Red X recovered quickly, "I figured I might be from another reality. So I searched my name, and no results showed up. Maybe this is too general, but I'll look into it later." Red X cleared his search history and laid down on the couch by Superboy. "What about you, whatcha reading?"
"The original Pinocchio," Superboy put the book down. "I learned about the story from the genomorphs." Superboy looked down at the book. "I don't know what to do."
Red X hummed, looking at the ceiling. "Well, we got about a week to kill. Frankly, I don't want to be here when the tourist start coming and oogling." Red X stood up and stretched, "So what do you say we go explore the things you've only ever heard?"
"What?" Superboy raised his brows. "I don't," Superboy looked around at the books.
"Pages on a book is one thing, but seeing the real deal? That has to be worth something." Red X smirked and offered Superboy a hand.
Superboy looked at his hand, thinking about all the places he wanted to see. "Let's do it," he stood up, taking Red X's hand.
"Don't worry, we'll leave a note." Red X smirked, and they embarked on their little adventure. They flew through the night sky, and Superboy looked down at the cityscape below and all the dazzling lights of DC.
"Better than pictures, huh?" Red X smirked, "just don't loosen your grip from the wonderment, eh?" Red X laughed when Superboy tightened his grip around his waist slightly.
"Yeah, yeah," Supebroy rolled his eyes, but the smile on his face was unmistakable. "Where to first?"
"You tell me, you're the one seeing things for the first time." Red X laughed.
"The Grand Canyon," Superboy said, looking ahead.
"Head due west and we'll take it from there!" Red X pointed west, and the two flew into the night sky.

"Man, you couldn't have called us? We totally missed a sweet bro trip." Kid Flash threw his arms up.
"Sorry, we figured you guys probably would be grounded or something," Red X shrugged.
"We didn't go outside the US if that helps," Superboy shrugged.
"There will be other times," Aqualad tried placating Kid Flash. The speedster in question sighed, and the group made their way to the center of Mount Justice, where Batman awaited them.
"This is Mount Justice; as some of you know, this was the League's Headquarters before the Hall and then the Watchtower. We are calling it back into service since you all seem determined to stick together and fight the good fight. But you will do it on League terms. Red Tornado has volunteered to be your supervisor, Black Canary will further train you, and I will deploy you on missions."
"Real missions?" Robin smirked.
"Yes," Batman looked at the young heroes, "covert missions."
"The League will still handle the obvious stuff," Flash chimed in, tapping his chest. "We have these targets on our chest for a reason."
"However, Cadmus has shown us the bad guys are getting smarter," Aquaman walked up next to Batman. "So we need to adapt to the times. Batman will need a team that can operate on the slide."
"So you six will be deployed on missions at our discretion." Batman finished.
"Cool," Robin grinned, "wait six?" Robin raised a brow.
From behind them, Martian Manhunter walked in with a redhead girl with green skin. "This is the Martian Manhunter's niece, Miss Martian. She will be joining the team." Batman explained.
"Hi," the Martian girl said shyly.
"I like this gig already," Kid Flash walked up to her. "I'm Kid Flash; that's Robin and Aqualad, but it's okay if you forget their names." Kid Flash winked at her.
"Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this." Miss Martian held her arm, seemingly shrinking into herself from the attention.
Aqualad and Robin walked up to her, offering their own greetings. "Red X, Superboy, come meet Miss M!"
Red X tapped Superboy's shoulder, grinning, and walked ahead before Superboy joined in. She looked at both young teens. Superboy wore black combat boots, jeans, and a black Superman shirt. Red X had taken a page from Robin and wore a dark brown coat, black shirt, and grey pants with combat boots. Miss Martian looked at Superboy's shirt, and her own shirt had morphed into a black T-shirt. "I like your shirt," she smiled sweetly at him.
Robin grinned and elbowed Superboy's side, smirking deviously. Kid Flash draped his arm around Supeboy's shoulder and punched his arm good-naturedly. Aqualad stepped up to the group, putting a hand on Red X's shoulders. "Today is the day."

"The Team is founded"
Elsewhere, several screens projecting humanoid figures shrouded in light conversed about what happened at Cadmus. They were reviewing the footage from the new Cadmus director, Guardian, and Dubblix as his right-hand man, sort of speak.
"Is it wise to leave Guardian in charge of Cadmus without the genomorphs?"
"We have subtler means of control. What worries me is the children. We now know the League is willing to employ children to do their dirty work, tch, what a dark twist."
"Yes, but one that can be played to our advantage. Even the temporary loss of the weapon may prove useful. In the end, everyone will see the light." The screens turned off one by one, leaving a room shrouded in darkness.
So it officially begins, the story of young heroes trying to make their way in "the life" and figuring out the mysteries behind Cadmus and their new compatriot, Red X. From here on out, it will be part retelling of episodes and episodes being different entirely. Much like in season 1, the plot will be in the background, so pay close attention to things! Things will unfold, new characters will be introduced, and the hero game will unfold.
I have read a few fanfics, and I feel quite a few of them lack the biggest part that's great about Young Justice. The hero aspect and the whole team focus. Many focus on interpersonal relationships and their lives outside the hero personas. As a result, the hero aspect and the action are neglected. To that avail, my story will focus more on the hero aspect while sprinkling the interpersonal relationship stuff in between. This is, after all, a superhero show, and I believe that should always be the plot's focus. Don't worry; there will be quiet moments, allowing the characters to be characters. But I believe it should not overshadow the hero aspect. This is something I think Season 4 really dropped the ball on. Everything started focusing on the off-hero stuff. So, the main focus will remain on "the life." There will also be a little more League interaction as I feel this universe's League is criminally unrepresented.
That said, I hope this first chapter is to your liking. It is more or less a fusion of Independence Day and Fireworks, but things will be a little more interesting from here on out. Drop a review and let me know your thoughts.
Also, yes, Superboy can fly here, just cuz. Still no heat vision and not as strong as a full-blooded Kryptonian, but there you go.
