"Oh I can believe that my little sister is coming to Beacon with me!" yang said with a chipper tone, hugging ruby.

"Please stop," Ruby said prying herself out of the death hug, "Genuenlly please, this is suffocating," Ruby said in a monotone.

"Ah c'mon I wanna celebrate your invitation, how lucky are you, not many people get to hear to beacon a whole two years early," Yang said happily, "you'll be the bee's knees!" she said to ruby pointing to the people around her.

"No, no, I just want to be a normal girl, with normal knees, I don't enjoy the attention okay," Ruby said firmly.

"You know that's gonna be hard to keep up, especially with your skills," Yang said putting her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, well I'll figure something out," Ruby said rolling her eyes.

"I mean, you can't seriously plan to go through beacon with just me right? I mean there might be teams," Yang said seriously.

"I mean, can't I?" Ruby asked innocently, 'I mean I need a team, literally asked by HQ to do so, but how do I explain to my own sister that I'm the Crimson Rose, world's most famous criminal, literally swiped the Vale Crown Jewels from right under the Vale Honor Guard and elite huntsmen. How does anyone explain that, because coffee and an afternoon out definitely isn't it?' Ruby thought to herself, slightly annoyed at her predicament. 'I mean, at least when I was at Signal, me doing this innocent shy girl act wouldn't be too suspicious, but here at Beacon, where if I don't open up a little I'm literally screwing myself over, because I'm going to get a team, what do I do?!' Ruby continued to rant inside her head.

"Hey Ruby, you alright?" Yang asked concerned.

"Hmm, yeah I'm fine, just thinking about what you said, I'll try to make some new friends today alright?" Ruby answered.

"Woah, where was this girl back at signal?" Yang asked sarcastically.

"The same place where you keep that filth," Ruby shot back.

"Hey, hey I thought we weren't gonna talk about that again," Yang said quietly, eyes wider than dinner plates.

"Sure, I'll forget about it," Ruby said winking.

"Wow 180 today huh, well I like it, I'll leave you alone for today if you're gonna try and make some new friends then," Yang said, patting ruby shoulder.

"Yeah, thanks sis," Ruby replied.

"Think nothing of it, I've got my friends to catch up with too anyways," Yang said walking off, popping back in right as she turned the first corner, "You will be fine without me, right?" Yang asked.

"Yes I'll be fine, what's gonna happen, I'm gonna blow up in front of the school," Ruby replied sarcastically. Seeing yang walk off, she let go of a breath she didn't even know she was holding.

'Can't believe that worked,' she thought to herself before looking out the window at the city below.

A hologram flickered to life, "Hello and welcome to Beacon! My name is Glynda Goodwitch, you are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world," The hologram turns off.

"Hmm, inspiring...I think," Ruby said to herself.

The news channel flicked back on, "The Crimson Rose Strikes again, this time interrupting an in-progress dust robbery, one lead by the infamous Roman Torchwick, officials are baffled, no money was stolen-,"

Ruby started to ignore the news report and started to look around, "Man today's gonna be a long day," she said not knowing what to do.

- Beacon -

Walking off the ship she sees a tall blond run over to a trash can and spills his guts out into it. Continuing to walk away from the ship, she starts to look at all the weapons, and internally fan girls about them, 'ohmygosh, look at her she's got a collapsible staff, and he's got a fire sword, and she's got a...pistol?" Ruby thought to herself looking around her eyes landing on a plain girl, slightly older than her, but then again that was everyone around her, 'that seems odd, perhaps she already dropped off her weapon, or has some really cool semblance,' she thought to herself before moving on, right before walking into a cart of luggage.

"Oh Shit!," Ruby shouted falling over and on top of the suitcases, she knocked over.

"What are you doing?!" a familiar voice shouted,

'is that Weiss, who would have thought she was gonna come to Beacon,' Ruby thought to herself, thinking back to one of her capers in Atlas.

"Geez, princess I walked into your cart and tripped, thought the mess was obvious," Ruby said patting herself off of various elemental dusts, 'the containers in those suitcases are clearly cracked,' Ruby thought to herself, much warier of the angry princess. "Look I'm sorry, how about I get you some coffee in vale as an apology, won't take long, and my boss will cover any charges," Ruby said trying to defuse any hostility between them, 'At least HQ better cover these costs, or that blank check they gave me as compensation for agreeing to do what I have done is useless,' she thought, before picking up one of the heavy-duty suitcases, which clearly contained dust.

"Do you know what kind of damage you could have cause?!, Give me that, how dare you offer me coffee, after that stunt you pulled," Weiss ranted.

"Look I was just being nice, where I came from, if you break something, you replace it if you can, or you apologize and offer coffee or some other beverage, explain what happened, and move on," Ruby said defensively.

"Honestly, do you even know who I am?" Weiss asked angrily.

Rusy paused for a second, and spoke "Err- I thin-"

"Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world." A woman clad in a black hoodie, plain white blouse, Jeans, and a pair of black heel boots, interrupted.

"Thank you! Some recognition, finally!"

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners," the woman said with a slight smirk.

"Wha- How dare- The nerve of... Ugh!" Weiss said before walking off.

Ruby helped the butlers clean up the mess she had caused, 'At least no one exploded, that could have been far worse,' Ruby thought to herself. 'Man I wish I could have thanked that person earlier, she's probably left already, oh well, I might run into her later,' she thought while placing the last of the suitcases onto the trolly.

Going for a bench sit collapses onto it. Sighing she speaks to herself, "Welcome to Beacon," the sarcasm was dripping off her voice at this point.

A person she had seen earlier walks into view again, "Hey you alright? I'm Jaune arc by the way,"

Looking up she sees the face of the tall blond that puked into the first garbage can he saw. Getting a better chance to take a look at him, he was wearing a hoodie underneath a large piece of sheet mail armor, a pair of work jeans and military boots, with a Trench Coat on top of all that, "hey I'm Ruby...Aren't you the guy who puked as soon as the ship landed?" she asked in a joking manner.

- End -

Oh a little note I forgot to mention at the start of this story, most if not all of the characters that will show up will have a different outfit compared to their show counterparts, not because I think the show's outfits are bad, just not practical as people in combat, that and there are only so many ways one can describe a white mini coat thing (whatever Weiss is wearing, I forgot the proper term for it :( ), and not have it get boring to write and read.

Among other things, I've sorted out the teams now, but the only snag I ran into is that in order to have the teams the way I want them I had to remove Ren and Nora from Beacon, but don't worry we'll be visiting them real soon, they won't be too far away from the story, I'm sure the OSS could use a couple more agents ;) , but I am sorry the power couple can't be at Beacon.

Anyways have a nice day, and stay safe~
