"Did ya really have to wake us up like that Sis?" yang asked slightly annoyed while rubbing the part of her head that smacked the roof, tuns out team AYSN made bunk beds out of the provided beds and some scrap metal they "scavenged" from Beacon's workshop.
"Ehh, yeah kinda, I also wanted to make sure you guys would be able to join us for breakfast," Ruby said chuckling at her sister's misfortune.
"Yeah, really appreciative of that by the way," Weiss said sarcastically, getting up, she walks to their restroom, presumably to take a shower.
"No problem," Ruby said deflecting the passive-aggressiveness.
"Urg, alright guess I have to wait now," Jaune said seeing Weiss shut the door behind her. "You would think growing up with seven sisters would lead to me being able to adjust to living with three women faster, but it seems I managed to unlearn a key lesson, always wake up first," Jaune said annoyed and yawning.
"You grew up with seven sisters?!" the girls in the room said in shock.
"Hmm, yeah I mean at least two of them were out semi-constantly with school, but yeah seven sisters. Why?" Jaune said shugging.
"No reason, just shocked," yang said backing off.
"I would love to meet them one day," Pyrrha said smiling.
"I'm sure you'll adjust to living with three women just fine Jaune," Ruby said before walking back to her team.
- Grimm Studies -
'Who would have thought a class named Grimm studies would only involve an old man telling stories,' Ruby thought to herself breaking down and putting back together a revolver she brought with her. The only thing keeping her awake is a lot of determination and constant activity. Though even then she's falling slightly, blinking between sleeping and awakeness, only staying awake long enough to notice that Weiss seemed to be seething slightly. Groaning quietly, she quietly gets up and sneaks over to her.
"Psst, Weiss you good?" Ruby asked still crouched just next to her desk.
"What are you doing dolt, you're gonna get in trouble!" Weiss whisper shouted.
"Well for one, you're seething, and everyone can see, and second of all, do you really think hot air over -" she points to professor Port, " -there is really gonna notice us whispering, now scoot over and let me sit before he sees us!" Ruby said pushing her over to the surprisingly empty chair next to her.
"Fine, fine, I want your opinion on something before I blow up sitting here then," Weiss said moving her stuff over.
"Well, what is it," Ruby asked.
"Do you think Ozpin made a mistake placing Jaune as the team leader? I mean I'm far more qualified than he is," Weiss said pointing to the mentioned person.
"I think...I think you should trust him, at least for a week before you pass judgment, for all you know all he may need is a bit of counseling to unlock his potential to be a leader," Ruby said to the troubled girl, in all honesty, she too was interested in the blond, if only for the peculiar circumstances he got in with.
- a week before -
"Hey I'm back Cap, you needed to drop something off for someone right?" Ruby said walking into the desolate hanger, well desolate isn't quite the right word, it was filled with her vehicles, ones that she was gifted when she gained more experience and required them, but no people were really around, save for her and the Captain that is.
Walking over to Ruby, the Captain hands her a messenger's bag, "Yeah, get these to Junior's bar would ya, after that, you're dismissed for the day," The captain said before walking off.
"What am I delivering? you know how I feel about mysterious packages," Ruby asked firmly.
"Forged documents, you can look at them if you want, it doesn't matter to me just keep it hidden and don't mention to anyone who the forgery is for, you know the bare minimum criminals like us can do for these people," The captain said sarcastically.
"Right," Ruby said walking over to her VTOL craft and sitting in it, opening the documents she sees a name, 'Jaune Arc, sole male son of the Arc family, wonder why he needs a forgery?' she thought to herself sifting through the information, most of it tends to be quite generic and goes through one of Beacon's many outreach programs something that wouldn't be traceable to a single source. 'Quite the handy work captain," she thought while placing the document back into the file and her bag. Hopping onto a motorbike not too dissimilar to her sister's she zooms off to the main Vale walls since it was the weekend, her family wasn't expecting her back until late that night, Saturdays were always her day to get either a lot of work done as Crimson or to genuinely relax and play a game or go shopping for weapon parts, what, did you expect her to be into clothes or something, nope Ruby Rose is a weapons specialist through and through, just an injection of fashion happens to exist now. The cover story for her was that Saturdays were the one day she requested to be able to do what she wants, and due to the good behavior she exhibited her father allowed it.
Leaving the hanger she kicks up a cloud of dust from the ruins surrounding her, unbeknownst to the world, an army base was set up in Mountain Glenn by an army called the MRA, their main forces wouldn't be located in remnant however, something about a cheap plot device already done before or something weird, but instead it was the OSS HQ or more simply, it was her home away from home and while most of the people that mill about the main base tend to be working in other departments or assignments, she was personally picked by the captain to be in a task force to save her world, it started small, at first it was only her and Ivy, then emerald joined them, and finally men from the 101st Airborne got shuffled in as extra muscle and personnel once it was realized that to have three active-duty agents means that someone has to drive and do general work around the base.
- Junior's bar -
Getting off her bike, she walks into the club and sees a rather large crowd for midday. Walking to the bar she places her bag on top of it. "Afternoon Hei," Crimson said smiling.
"Oh you, Melanie and militia is busy if you're here to see them...unless this is a work call?" he asked.
"Kind of, those forgeries you asked for, in the bag," she said pushing the bag forward.
"Oh, I see, well thanks for dropping them off… you didn't look at them right?" Hei asked grabbing the bag.
"A woman never tells, now c'mon hand me my payment," She said tapping the bar.
"Yeah yeah, here," he hands her a bag of the same make and model filled with lien and a box of Vale's finest cookies, alongside a glass of milk.
"Nice doing business with you Hei," she said downing the milk and getting up. Walking to the front door she says her goodbyes to Melanie and Militia on her way out.

"Miss Rose, can you hear me?" Professor port asked.
"Huh? Yeah, sorry professor sis I doze off?" Ruby asked after her attention was found.
"No, but you did raise your hand when I asked who believes themselves to be the embodiment of a huntsman," he said pointing to her raised hand.
"Uhh yeah sure, let me just grab something real quick," She said getting and walking back over to her seat and grabbed the revolver she left on her desk, a Colt model 17 or M1917 revolver, she loads it with some live rounds and cocks it, "ready when you are sir," she said smiling while standing in front of the very obvious cages.
"Allllright! Let the match... begin!" he said before chopping off the lock on the cage.
A Boarbatusk rolls out of the cage at max speed, noticing this in the split second she had, she sidestepped the oncoming Grimm and watched as the creature slammed max speed into a wall, a small crack formed on the site of impact, seeing that it got flipped onto it's back she aimed the revolver and fired multiple rounds into it. The Grimm started dissolving into dust, sighing she climbs off of the desk.
"Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntress-in-training!" Port said joyfully, as he says that the bell rings for the end of the class, "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and... stay vigilant! Class dismissed!" he said to the class.
After gathering her stuff she walks by Weiss, "as I said, give him a chance, you never know who may be a good leader," Ruby said smiling.
