" partner…. Partner… PARTNER!"
"Hu, what's going on? Oh draig it's you. Sorry I was spacing out there."
" Yes, I have been trying to get your attention for the past 10 minutes."
Sitting down on a bench that was next to him, issei looked at the park he was in. " So what's up draig?"
The mighty red dragon just huffed. " You have been spacing out alot lately. Does it have something to do with your mates?" asked the dragon with a little bit of worry in his voice.
" ya it is them." answered issei. Over the past couple of days the girls have been acting weird, they have been ignoring Issei and at times it seems they forget he is even there, just walking past him or not answering him when he is talking to them.
"Draig, did i do something wrong, have i messed something up? I need to know so i can fix it.'' Issei was starting to panic. " partner, you have done nothing wrong. I have also noticed the females around you acting weirder than normal.'' The mighty dragon's words calmed issei.
Issei just sat there on the bench, thinking about how things got to the point he is in now. After defeating the trihexa and razavim the world went into full repair mode, with all the mythologies from christian to norse and greek trying to repair the damage caused by the beast. Will this was happening issei and the others went about their days, rias and akeno graduated and went to collage, rossweisse was in asgard helping odin train new valkarys and to keep a eye on the seal holding the trihexa, gasper was in the grigori with azazal and valerie helping her get control of her sacred gear and to help her in her recovery, kuroka was with le fay in kyoto helping them fix damage and get the youki of the area under control, and kiba was with arthur training.
As Issei was thinking, Draig sensed something weird nearby. " partner, do you sense that energy? It doesn't feel like normal magic or senjutsu.'' Issei listening to his partner felt around him for the feeling draig was getting. " ya i feel it. It's coming from the direction of the school."
Issei, not understanding why an unknown energy was coming from his school, hurried to the school. " Something about this energy feels familiar," said draig.
" in what way does it feel familiar, do you know the person or energy source.'' Issei asked will still run to the school. " no i don't know the energy source, but now that we are closer to the source i have an idea of what it is."
"Well what is it?" asked Issei entering the school yard. " It is a sacred gear, and I understand why it feels familiar. Whoever it is has a dragon type sacred gear, and from the feeling of it they have just awakened it or is extremely close to it.
Issei, surprised by what his partner said, focused on the energy and found that it was coming from the old school building. " what is going down, this can't be good.'' Issei moved to the building and made his way to the door, but when he tried to open it it wouldn't budge. "What, why won't it open." Issei tried to open the door with all his might, but it wouldn't even crack.
" Ok I might not be the smartest person, but unless I have been separated from my powers, there is no normal door that can stop me from opening it, especially with devil and dragonic strength." issei dudused.
"Wow you used your head for once, i am a little surprised." snickers draig. " ha i can use my head when i need to."
Issei, ignoring draig looked and saw one of the windows open. Walking over to the side of the building and making sure no one was around, he sprouted his wings to fly to the open window.
Making his way into the window, issei saw it was the spare bedroom that they had in the building. Landing and putting his wings away, Issei heard something coming from the normal meeting room. 'Is that talking, the voice sounds familiar.' thought issei walking over to the door and opening it a little and freezing.
In the room issei saw rias and akeno with a guy he had never seen before.
In the room
Rias and akeno were sitting on the couch across from the other occupant waiting patiently.
" thats it tento, focus on the part of your body that feels the strongest and feel the power go to that spot." said rias trying to help tento
Tento sanda was a tall, muscular and attractive guy with brown hair,who was about the same age as Rias and akeno maybe a little older. He was currently trying to awaken his sacred gear. He was focusing to the best of his abilities until he felt it and pulled.
In a flash of light blue light, Tento was standing in the middle of the room holding a spear. The spear looked to be made of colt bolt with a golden eastern dragon going up the length of the spear ending at the bottom of the blue crystal like blade.
" you did it tento, you awakened your sacred gear." yelled akeno jumping up and hugging him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Akeno, you know you can't do that." yelled Rias mad at her best friend. " come now rias i was just giving praise to are senpai.'' Akeno leaned more into the hug, with Rias jumping up and hugging tento as well and kissing him on the lips.
Back to issei
Issei didn't have words for what he was seeing. Rias and akeno were with another guy, and never said a word to him. When seeing this something in issei changed and started growing.
" partner, I know that sacred gear, it's the azure dragon spear. It's a high class dragon weapon type, it can…." draig was cut off feeling something growing in issei. Relooking at the situation, draig realized what happened. He was so distracted by the dragon aura in front of him from the spear that he had tunnel vision. " partner, we need to get out of here now."
Issei, not knowing what to do litsend and went to the window. He tried to have his wings come out but they wouldn't. Issei fell out the window into the bushes below. Crawling from the bushes, issei tried to get away from the building, but as he was rounding the building he saw four other guys standing there talking. The thing that made him stop was the presence of the other girls.
Irina, xenovia, asia, koneko, and ravel were all there talking to each other and the boys. Issei was about to call out to them but was stopped when he saw and heard something to break him.
" ha i don't know about you guys but i think i have the best girlfriend here." said a tall lean guy with blonde hair pulling irina into a kiss that irina slowly leaned more into the kiss.
" No way xenovia is so much better." said another guy with yellow hair and a toned body a little shorter than the other guy.
" No way Asia is perfect." said a white haired guy who was about the same height as Asia with white hair. Hugging said girl.
" Thats funny but ravel and koneko beat all of them any day." said the last guy who was of average build with light green hair.
"Partner leave now, we have to get away from this now. Partner…partner." draig tried getting Issei's attention to suppress their auras, but he was getting nothing. Until he barely heard Issei saying something. Trying his best to hear draig froze in fear when he finally heard what his partner was saying and he wished he never heard it.
" i who am about to awaken.'' Draig knew these words were bad news and he knew that he wouldn't be able to hold the aura off of them for very long, and if the girls were to get to him now then things would just get worse. So in a feat he didn't know was possible, draig forcibly teleported issei to the forest outside kuoh town.
" I am the heavenly dragon who stole the principle of domination from god." draig was getting terrified now.
"Partner, you have to stop. If you do this you will die. Partner." draig frantically tried to get issei to stop before he fully activated the juggernaut drive.
"I mock the infinite."
"Partner, think of all you have worked for. The people that are here for you." Draig was not giving up on his partner.
" and I fret over the dream."
"No stop now , partner. Please this is not how I wanted things to end." Draig was on his last legs trying to stop it.
"I shall become the dragon of…" issei was stopped when he heard something that he thought he would never hear in his life.
" issei stop now please, you were the only one that treated me like a equal, you are the only one that didn't see me as a weapon, you are the only one i would call friend.'' Draig said his peace, readying himself for the drive to activate. But nothing happened.
Issei had stopped the chant and the aura of the drive was disappearing, instead Issei was kneeling on the ground with his hands limping at his sides as the sun began to set in front of him.
" Why draig? Why did they do it?" Issei was crying in anger, hopelessness, and sadness.
"I do not know. But I do know one thing." Issei looked down at his left hand.
" And what is that draig."
"No matter the challenges, no matter the choices made, and no matter who betrays you or doesn't care for you. You will always have me by your side, I will stand next to you till the end of times, through pain and suffering. I will never leave you. I would gladly die with you when the time comes. For you are not just my partner, no you are my best and only friend, and for that you will never be alone." said the mighty dragon.
Issei was stumped by what draig had said and that he used his actual name, he knew now that he will always have draig. Issei just cried there for a time until he couldn't cry anymore. To some of the people of kuoh they could have sworn they heard the sorrow filled cries of a dragon in the night.
By the time issei wasn't the sun had set and night was in full effect. He went to get up to head home but that's when he felt extreme pain in his whole body. " draig what is this, this pain."
The pain was so bad that issei was unable to move from it. " I have an idea but you wont like it."
Issei was almost at the breaking point, until he blacked out and laid on the ground of the forest. Little did he know that something big was changing about him.
Morning
As the rays of the morning sun fell on the sleeping form of issei, he began to awake.
"Where am i? Why am I in the forest, and why are my clothes so tight?" Issei pushed himself off the ground standing up but feeling off balance used a nearby tree to support him. " Ok, now I am really confused."
"Issei, you are awake, good. How do you feel?" asked draig, slightly surprised.
"Ya i am awake, and to answer your question i don't know i feel normal but at the same time i know something is different." issei pushed off the tree to try and stand on his own.
"Good thing I can answer that for you." said draig with pride and what issei could only describe as a dragon smirk.
"Well tell me, don't go leaving me in the dark." said issei wanting to know what happened.
Draig with pride radiating off of him answered issei. " Congratulations issei hyoudo, for you are now a dragon in all senses of the word. For you are now one of the few dragons to awaken their aura."
Issei was absolutely dumbfounded after hearing this. He was a dragon now, well more than he already was with having a body made of great red and the power of ophis. But to think he has his own aura
" wait so I now have my own dragonic aura, not just the one I share with you from having the boosted gear?'' asked Issei, confused a little now.
"Yes that is correct, but now that you have this aura it seems that it is stronger than the aura of the boosted gear so it acts like a mask for the gear, so most people wouldn't be able to sense the gear. But overall yes you have your own unique dragonic aura, which i mean makes sense given you are now mostly dragon.'' That made issei happy to know that he had his own aura, but then realized what draig said at the end.
" Wait, mostly dragon, what are you talking about? I thought I was mostly a devil with another dragon and a small part human?" Issei asked draig.
"Correct, but that was before your aura and the incident happened. As of now you are about 94% dragon, 5% devil, and 1% human. Which is interesting given that you don't have evil pieces anymore.'' This causes the issei to freeze.
"Wait what do you mean i don't have evil pieces anymore, they are bonded to my soul." issei was very certain that if he lost his evil pieces he would die.
"Will they were connected to your soul when you almost activated the juggernaut overdrive, it damaged the pieces, and as your body was changing to accommodate for you becoming a dragon and awakening your aura, the pieces released a large amount of devil energy and your aura in a action of protecting you forced them out will also using the energy already released to full your transformation.'' Draig explained.
Issei finally looking at himself noticed that he was indeed taller and looked more muscular, and to his absolut surprise saw eight cracked pawn pieces lying where he was sleeping moments ago. Issei walked over after getting his equilibrium back, and picked up his pieces feeling no pull of them or even any trace of magic. " draig, I am going to start heading home to take a shower and think. While i am walking and showering I want you to run a full body scan on me to see what has changed and to see the effect on you and the boosted gear."
Issei picked up his remaining pawn pieces and walked back home. Walking into his house he didn't hear anything or anyone, just like it's been for the past couple days. Issei's parents were in Tokyo visiting family and they wouldn't be back.
Taking his shower, issei just stood there letting the water hit his body and run off him. Thinking to himself about everything that happened in the past 24 hours. Issei thought he would be devastated or angry. But he didn't feel any of that, all he felt was sadness and regret.
Getting out of the shower issei dried himself off and put a towel around his waist. " So what did you find?" issei asked the mighty dragon and at the current moment the only person he trusts.
" Well to start with, the overall build of your body has changed. you are taller around 6' 6'' in height, your body fat has basically disappeared and became lean dragonic muscle making you much stronger, your hair has changed from its normal brown to a darker shade with some streaks of purple in it, your eyes are now more similar to dragon eyes showing a purple and black color, and finally your dragonic features like your wings and claws have changed to that of a purple and black color scheme." issei looking in the mirror saw what draig was talking about, seeing that he was taller, his body was more toned and that his hair was darker with purple streaks. The most interesting part was the two purple reptilian eyes looking back at him. Issei focused on his eyes and to his surprise they changed from dragon-like back to human, but the iris was still purple.
" Guess that makes things easier." issei said out loud.
"Continining on to the more internal stuff, you now have your own dragonic aura as you know. Each dragon's aura has a feeling to it that only dragons can feel. This lets us understand the aura of others better and get a better grasp on what they are capable of. For you it feels weird, like something there but not at the same time. It is always with you but still separated from you. Kinda like ….." draig was cut off by issei.
" a shadow."
" exactly, so from this I think your aura has something to do with darkness or shadows but the only way to be sure is to train and test. To other things like the gear and myself. For me there is no real change or anything different, as for the gear the only change I can find is that now there are purple vein like lines on the gear and armor but other than that nothing." After hearing that issei was curious, calling forth the gear he saw the lines and didnt feel anything else. Issei then remembered something.
Using his other hand grabbed near the top of the gear and in a flash was holding ascalon, the holy dragon slayer sword. Issei looked at the sword and saw no changes to it. " issei is there something wrong with ascalon?"
" No, it's just that I thought that becoming a full dragon would cause the dragon slayer properties of the sword to reject me as its wielder, but it feels like it wants to be closer to me now. Like it never wants to leave.'' This caused draig to pause.
" Well it is one of the four great holy swords and it is said that they choose their wielders. Maybe that you are now more like the creature it was made to fight against, it understands you more.'' Draig tried to put reason behind his statement.
" ya maybe. But now that i hold it i realize that i never really use it. For such a great weapon to never be used or even held by someone with little swordsmen ship is a crime to it.'' Issei, with his new view of things, wanted to start changing things.
" Yes, this is true. Now back to you i think you should practice with your aura as soon as possible, to learn the extent of what it can do.'' Draig said with curiosity rolling off him in waves, wanting to see what his partner's aura is capable of.
Issei, agreeing with draig walked out of the bathroom and into his room and put on some shorts and a workout shirt. As he was about to walk out of his room he saw his eight broken pawn pieces sitting on his other dresser. With A solemn look on his face he put them in a small box he had and walked out of the room. Taking the elevator down to the underground training area, using a special key he had the elevator went one extra level down. This was issei's personal training area, it was made just for him and was told that it could handle a heavenly dragon's power. " I never used this place and thought that the others didn't know it was here."
"Alright draig time to get to work. What do you think we should test first?" asked issei.
" I recommend the first things to test would be how much aura you have and what it is capable of. So if i were you i would try and see how it works and the amount that you have will be seen by how long you can train for."
Issei taking draig advice walked to the center of the room. " Good now most dragons when they awaken their aura have an instinctual sense of what it can basically do, but the more advanced part has to be learned over time." said draig.
Issei sat on the ground and got in a mediational position and meditated. Looking inward to see what his aura could do. With his eyes closed the passing of time was not sensed around him but after about 10 mins of nothing draig noticed something.
'So that is what his aura can do. With a power like that he can do a lot.' thought draig.
"Issei, have you noticed what your aura can do yet?"
"Actually I think there is more to it than you think, the shadows I can feel but I also feel something else." Issei got up and turned to a dark corner of the training room. Reaching out his hand with his mind focused on the shadows.
To draigs surprise the shadows showed no resistance and moved to issei instantly. Gathering around issei in a circle of darkness. " So I can freely manipulate shadows." Issei moved the darkness around him to form tentacles, and hands. When he was moving them around he thought of trying something. Issei imagend the shadows becoming his weapon, and they did as he wished. Moving to his hand, Issei saw a demonic looking curved sword made of shadows.
" So the shadows are your allies now, let's see how strong they are." said draig. Issei wanting to know himself walked over to a panel and activated the training area and caused multiple test dummies to appear ranging in toughness, from that of a normal human all the way up to a god.
Issei started swinging, slicing through the dummies like they were nothing, creating a second sword in his other hand, dual wielding his shadow swords. Once issei got to the dummies that were near god level his swords would do little to no damage to the dummies.
" So that is the limit of the sword's power. Cool and with ascalon this will do nicely." said issei before thinking of something. Letting his sword disappear back to the darkness, Issei looked at the dummies in front of him.
"Issei, is there something wrong?" asked draig wondering why issei stopped.
"Draig ever since I got the boosted gear and became a dragon from it, I was never truly able to breathe fire. I always had to use my devil magic to make a weak flame before boosting it up. But now." Issei took a deep breath, feeling the flames inside him and blasting out a wave of fire.
To the surprise of both issei and draig the flames were not the normal yellow and orange, but they were purple and black. Completely disintegrating the dummies. Issei was speechless with his jaw basically hitting the floor. " Ah draig , is fire supposed to be that color?" issei asked the mighty dragon, who was completely speechless.
"That's not normal dragon fire. I mean my fire is red and can burn anything, albinos is a poison breath, tiamats is blue. But purple and black it is something different, and i don't know if it is just me but something is weird about those flames. They may be different because of the type of dragon you are."
"Type of dragon?" issei asked
"In short terms we dragons describe the type of dragon we are by characteristics. For me, I am a fire dragon, an albino is a poison dragon, and so on. From what I guess from you I think you would best be described as a demonic dragon. And before you ask, we dragons count demons and devils as the same."
"A demonic dragon, cool."
Issei walked over to the flames that were still burning on the ground, and tried putting them out but they wouldn't go out. After trying for a good amount of time issei was freaking out thinking it would burn his house down. In a feat of worry issei commanded the flames to go out, and as if the life from the flames was snuffed out, all the flames disappeared.
"Wait, that worked? Wait, does that mean I can control my flames as well?" Issei was confused.
"Yes you can, most dragons have their own form of pyromancy to their own flames. Try having your flames appear in your hand." draig suggested.
Issei focused on his hand and as draig said flames of purple and black appeared. Issei was fascinated with his new abilities, he had the flames combine into a big ball and throw it at another dummy, blowing it up. " Now this shit is cool."
Time skip 3 days later
Issei has been practicing with his aura and seeing what he could do. Draig would be proud to say issei has a very powerful arsenal when it comes to what his aura can do, and issei was extremely happy with his new powers.
Issei has learned a lot about his aura, more than his pyrokinesis and his umbrakinesis. Issei learned that he could pull the shadows around him to form an armor around him, looking like a knight in black armor with purple vein-like cracks on the armor. He also learned he can use shadows for movement as well, like his new skill dub (shadow step) which can be used in short burst to quickly move past or through attack by turning him into a shadow for a second then back to normal, or a much more longer use were issei can walk into a shadow and exit out of any other shadow there is no matter the place. Issei learned this when he walked into a shadow and exited out in the ORC clubroom, he then tried to leave the club room just to end up in the gremory mansion in the underworld, this continued till he got back to the training room after learning he had to focus on the place he wanted to go to. Issei will trying to get back and end up going to not just the underworld but also asgard, kyoto, the dimensional gape, and even the second heaven. Issei also learned that he could accomplish the same feat by pulling the shadows to him and covering him.
Issei learned he could make more than just swords out of shadows. Issei made swords,shields, axes, hammers, spears, and scythes out of the darkness. Issei also made wings out of the shadows, but whenever he made them they ended up looking like a weird mix of devil/angel/dragon wings all put together, however they made issei extremely fast.
Issei practice manifesting dragonic traits on his body, be that from turning his skin to scales, his teeth to fangs, his hands and feet to claws, growing a tail or purple and black dragon wings, and even a pair of horns that started on the sides of his head and grow out and up like trees. But no matter how much he tried, issei couldn't fully turn into a dragon, though draig had a good idea what issei would look like given the unique feats of his dragon-like manifestations.
Issei's dragon manifestations were unique in look, mainly his wings and tail. His wings were somewhat similar to what they look like in the boosted gear but they had more spikes on the ridge of the wing, and where the joints of the inner and outer wing meet has three claws that can open and close. When folded they can act like a second pair of hands. Issei's tail was bulky and spiky all the way from the base of his hip to a little above the tip, where his tail formed a double bladed ax- like look to them.
" issei I meant to ask this a while ago but what are you going to do now? I know you won't stay here, so what's the plan?" asked draig.
Issei's happy face fell and a dark purple aura appeared around him for a sec before disappearing and Issei answered. " I am going to do something I have wanted to do ever since I became a devil, I want to see it all. I want to see the world, on it, above it, and below it, I want to experience this world's beauty. As for the plan, I already have one." This surprised draig not expecting the answer he got, but at the same time he is proud that his partner has a plan.
"Well, let's hear about this plan."
"First I am going to need to increase my knowledge, mainly using the built-in library here. Next I am going to need new clothes. After I woke up, none of my old clothes fit me other than the ones that were overly baggy, but now they are just tight. Finally I want to cash in an old favor." issei explained. Draig was curious about the favor but issei told him not to worry, and that is exactly what he is going to do.
Issei walked up to his built-in library and started reading through the books, ranging from mythology, to legends, to even reading about the different magics and sacred gears. But once Issei went to a certain page in the book about sacred gears he was frozen and anger started to set in.
"draig , is that the sacred gear we saw that day?" Issei asked, looking at the page.
"Unfortunately yes it is. That is the azure dragon's spear, also known as the spear of the east. In basic terms it gives the user the ability to summon and control lighting." said draig with sorrow in his voice.
Issei put a bookmark on the page and set the book. " That's enough reading for today, time to get some clothes." issei grabbed one of azazel's jackets that he left in the house and made his way to the mall near his house.
The mall was the closest place Issei could get new clothes that were made for supernatural entities, since the mall has both human and nonhuman stores. Will the mall is the closest, it is still a distance to it. For a normal human it would take a good half hour to walk there. But for issei he simply walked to a shadow in his house and exited a couple feet away from the mall.
Walking in issei saw hundreds of people walking around just enjoying their days, spending time with their loved ones. Issei saw this and was saddened. Not for the fact that all the people around him are happy, but that he is the only one alone, but then he remembers that there is still draig. Issei then thinks about the others, like azazal, sir zechs, micheal, rossweisse, kuroka and la fay, and vali. He doesn't know if they are on his side or that of Rias, but he hopes.
Walking around for a few minutes, Issei found a story that looked promising. To normal people it looks like a normal clock repair shop, but issei could smell the magic coming from the place along with the scents of multiple different races. Walking to the store the man at the desk walked over to him and asked what he could do for him.
" I would like to see what's in the back."
"Sorry sir, only people with the right authority can go back there."
Issei just looked at the man before changing his eyes to that of a dragon and letting his fangs come out. Giving the man a sharp grin that only a dragon can give. To which the man smiled and lifted the divider that stopped people from walking to the back.
"Thank you for showing me your authorization sir, please have a look." said the man holding an arm to the door. Issei walked past the man and thanked him. Walking to the door he opened it and walked through only to see a massive store with a multitude of items ranging from clothes, to accessories, to even some armors and weapons, with a couple books here and there.
Issei smiled seeing all the supernatural items and started to look through some clothes. After looking at some clothes and picking out some he liked he went to pay for them." ha draig, we walked past a couple people but they didn't even look at us. I thought with the type of aura and energy i give off people would stare but nothing.``
" That would be because I am suppressing the auras, but your aura is hard to hold back. Luckily, the amount I can't hold back feels demonic in nature, so people think you are most likely a demon." this made issei smile knowing that he has draig looking out for him.
Before Issei could make it to the checkout area he was stopped by two people. Well people would be a weird word to describe them. One looked to have two straight horns and a red tint to his skin, the other was a young looking blue haired woman. " It looks like they are a demon and a snow woman." said draig helping issei identify them.
"Is there something i can do for you two?" asked issei.
"Yes you see me and my co-worker here have been itching to settle a disagreement we have had. We both think we can make an outfit better than the other. So to see who is the better, would it be ok with you to try on some of the outfits we pick for you." said the demon
"Yes and have you tell us which is more to your liking, if you don't mind. For your troubles we can give you the outfit you like the most with no charger, or make an outfit for you personally." said the snow woman.
Issei thought for a second before agreeing to go with them. 'This works both ways. I get to see what I look good and bad in, and I get to get a personal outfit. Sounds nice to me.' issei thought.
After about an hour of trying on clothes, Issei learned a couple of things. One he does not look good in white, two boots are actually comfortable, three the demon liked biker-like clothes, four the snow woman liked more formal attire, and five most of the clothes he tried on were too weird at times.
"Ok sir so what do you think? Who had the best outfits?" asked the demon
"Overall I liked the biker style of clothing better,but the formal wear made me feel a lot more confident." issei replied. He looked at the two and was surprised to see that they were both smiling.
"Good we are still equals." they both said at the same time. Issei just looked confused.
"Thank you sir. We really just wanted to see if we were both still equal in the sense that we can pick out the right clothes for our respective fields of expertise." replied the demon.
"Yes and as promised would you like one of the outfits we picked for you?" asked the snow woman.
"Actually, can you two put an outfit together for me? I would like it to be a mix of both of your styles and made of durable material. If that's ok." said issei.
"Absolutely we can have an outfit ready in a couple days. Please come back in a couple days and find one of us and we can give you the outfit." said the demon. Issei nodded his head and made to pay for the clothes he picked out.
After paying for his clothes, Issei made his way back home, where he continued his reading and training.
Couple days ago else were
"You know I thought this mission would be harder, and I thought we would need more help than just the two of us but I guess I was wrong. What are your thoughts?" asked bikou. Twirling his staff around as he and Vali walked around the area they were tasked to search.
"This was a simple task for you and i. Why would you think we would need….."Vali stopped in his tracks with his eyes going wide. Bikou, seeing this, went to ask him what was wrong when he felt something.
To bikou it was like a void opened up around him, it felt empty but he knew something was there. " Vali, what is this?"
Vali on the other hand had two things to think about, along with albion screaming in his head. 1. Why was he feeling the release of the juggernaut drive just to have it disappear, and 2. Why did he hear the cry of a dragon? " Vali that aura was the juggernaut drive from draig, i would know it anywhere. But that cry was from a different dragon, one who has lost something great. But this feeling, it can't be." said albion
"What is it albion, if it has to deal with issei tell me now." Vali was frantic. Issei was like a brother to him, he helped him through thick and thin, and if Issei was in trouble Vali would fight both heaven and hell to get to him.
"This feeling can only be one thing, a new dragon has awakened their aura, and whoever it is. They are extremely powerful." replied albion.
" But is it issei?" asked vali. All he got was no saying that it felt nothing like the boy he knew.
"Vali are you ok? I know you felt that just from your reaction." asked bikou.
"We are leaving, i need to talk to azazel about something.'' Vali walked to bikou and teleported the two of them to the grigori.
After arriving in the grigori, Vali went to talk to Azazel, walking into the building he could normally find the ex-fallen angel governor. About to walk into the elevator to go to him, Vali was stopped by another fallen angel. "I'm sorry but you can not see azazel sama at the moment," said the fallen angel.
"What do you mean i cant talk to him? What is the meaning of this?" Vali was getting irritated.
"Sorry, but on the orders of governor general shemhazai. Azazel sama is not allowed to have visitors or do experiments until he has finished the work given to him by governor general shemhazai." Vali glared at the fallen angle before huffing and walking away.
"Let me know the second he is available." Vali demanded releasing albions aura as extra encouragement.
Back to issei present time
It has been about a week since Isei went to the mall, and not much has changed in the time Issei had learned one or two new uses for his aura, but one thing that has changed is his knowledge of the supernatural world. Be that from myth and legends, to fantasy and fairy tales, he even went in depth of heroes and people of history. The one thing he didn't like reading was about other sacred gears, mainly because everytime he opened the book he would get the image of rias and akeno with that guy, but he pushed through and read the book.
Issei was currently in his personal training room or at least what was left of it seeing that the room was in ruin from the power issei released, there were claw marks all over the place, there were burn marks scattered around the room and ash mixed with the air. In all sense it looked like a monster went on a rampage in the room.
Issei was training with ascalon when he heard his phone go off. Putting ascalon away he walked over to see that his clothes were ready. Grinding issei put on some clean clothes and used his newly named shadow step ability, to appear right inside the store. Walking over to the registers and asked the worker if the demon or snow woman was there. To his surprise they both appeared behind him right after asking. 'How did I not sense them, I can feel shadows and darkness, I have a dragon sense and yet they still surprised me.' issei thought.
"Ah welcome back sir, your clothes you asked for are ready for you to try on." said the snow woman leading him to the changing area where they had his clothes in one of the changing rooms.
Once issei was in the changing room he looked at the clothes and just from the looks of them he already liked them. " partner, these clothes seem to have unique properties." issei could also tell that they were unique, but now was the time to try them on.
As the door to the changing room opened the snow woman and the demon looked and their reactions said it all. The snow woman had a faint dusting of pink on her face, and the demon looked at issei with respect. Issei was wearing a red under shirt with a black suit top with black matching pants with purple accent line on the legs leading down to his black boots witch also had purple lines going from the top of the boot down a little and wrapping around to top of the boot, and all finished with a black trench coat that splits into two points that fade in to purple that reach to behind his knees, and just to add a like more to it issei used the shadows to make a pair of glasses that covered his eyes.
Issei looked at himself in the mirror nearby and liked what he saw. " I like it."
" We are glad you like it, it takes some time to find the right materials but we did. That right there is a one of a kind, it is extremely resistant to damage, the cold and heat have little effect on it and as long as there is a little bit of the cloth left it can be fixed by sending mana into the fibers to repair themselves." explained the two workers.
Issei was happy with his new outfit. Now that he had it he was ready to explore the world and see what he has been missing being stuck with rias. " I'll take it, and you are sure it is free?" asked issei.
"Yes sir, I am a man of my word, and it is great to see another demon looking good," said the demon.
"Thank you very much you two, I will not forget this. Oh and one more thing." Issei turned his head and walked away looking at the snow woman and demon. " I am not a demon. I'm a dragon." issei's eyes changed to his dragon eyes and he flexed his aura. To the snow woman and demon, a massive black dragon's back is all they saw walking away from them.
Issei walked into a shadow and appeared in his room. Sensing the area he felt nothing like normal. "Good, this will be easier than if they were here."
"Partner it is time. Are you going to start your journey?"
"Sure am draig, it is about time for me to leave this place. All it has given me is bad memories." issei said in a neutral tone.
"I understand partner, so where to go first?" asked draig
"Actually I want you to randomly teleport me to any country in the world. From there I will start my exploration."
Draig was stunned, to think that for issei to ask him to start one of his biggest steps in life. It was an honor that draig took with pride.
"Alright partner whenever you are ready." issei gave a nod and in a flash of red he was gone.
