Hotel room with issei
After working out the whole learning that the girl he just saved is a lycan, and that she was here to kill alucard. Issei started to think of a plan to deal with said vampire, using the information he had Issei with a little help from draig came up with a plan that could possibly beat alucard. But before he could finish the plan in his head a light tap on his shoulder pulled him out of his thinking. Turning his head he saw Luna standing there with a little bit of a weird look on her face. " Is there a problem with something?" asked Issei, fully turning to the girl.
" um just a little. I don't exactly have my weapons and more importantly my clothes." said Luna covering herself with her arms and a blanket, with Issei finally realizing that all she was wearing was some simple clothes and they were the bare minimum clothing a person would wear.
" Oh ya that's a little bit of a problem, and I don't have any girl's clothes with me." said issei with a little blush on his face looking away from the girl missing the small smirk on her face. Will, thinking this issei also remembered that he didn't have ascalon, missing the chance to train with said sword.
" well seeing that you can't really walk outside in that i can go and get you some simple clothes so that way you can at least walk around without people thinking your a weirdo."
" ha im not some weirdo, the only weird person here is you and that perverted vampire. You for not noticing that till i said something and him for putting me in these clothes.'' Luna was angered by the men she has been around lately and thinking that they were all weirdos.
" ha i don't disagree with the pervy vampire part. But I have just not been having the best experience with the opposite gender lately." said issei with a sad and dark look on his face.
Seeing the look on issei's face, luna was a little sad as well seeing that she didn't want to make her saver sad, she was just trying to poke fun. " Sorry didn't mean to remind you of a painful memory. Are you ok?" said luna.
" I'm fine, don't worry about it. I'm going to go get you some clothes. I will be right back."
" Wait but." Luna didn't get to finish her sentence because Issei had walked out of the room and shut the door. " Damn and here I thought I could get to know him a little better, maybe break the ice a little but it looks like all I did was upset him." said Luna out loud, sitting on the bed thinking to herself about issei.
After a couple of minutes issei returned back to the room with a t-shirt and some sweat pants for luna but made the mistake of forgetting that they may be a little big on her, and after putting them on and seeing how big the clothes were issei couldn't help but laugh at the site of the girl in sweat pants that go past her feet and a shirt about two sizes too big looking more like a dress then a shirt.
" ha stop laughing it's not that funny." said Luna with a pout on her face.
" No, it's definitely funny," said Issei, dying of laughter.
After catching his breath Issei took Luna out and found a store for her to get more clothes that she would actually wear and that actually fit. Looking at about ten different stores and stopping at a couple of them and getting a couple weird looks from people at Luna's clothes, Issei finds himself sitting outside of a dressing room waiting for Luna to finish changing it to the clothes she picked. "You almost done in there? it's taking you a while to change?" asked issei.
" Calm down, I am done." said Luna walking out of the changing room.
" took you a long en…" issei stopped seeing the silver haired girl and what she was wearing.
Luna was wearing a velvet red and silver under shirt with a black corset and a black short sleeve low cut jacket top with black combat pants and thigh high boots, some long sleeve fingerless gloves and a black hair tie holding her hair in a ponytail that ended halfway down her back. " you ok, you cut yourself off there?" asked luna to issei.
"I'm fine, I just didn't expect that outfit."
"Oh do you like it, it's a little more fancy than what I normally wear but I thought it looked good and it should serve its purpose until I get my original clothes back and my equipment."
"It looks good on you, but we still have the problem of you not having your weapons. Actually I don't know what weapons you even use."
" Oh, thank you. And i use my family's revolvers and throwing knives, oh i also have some brass knuckles that have been blessed and can pack quite a punch, along with my enhanced strength i can deal with most creatures."
" I know that blessed weapons can do a lot of damage, and I have no idea if the revolvers are special or not, but past small to medium level creatures the only thing you can do to take on higher class monsters would be to use your lycan abilities." said issei.
" I guess I never really thought of that. My family never really went after big creatures, just the common ones, so I never really had to use better weapons, and I have been too afraid to use my abilities. So I never had practice with it."
" I might not have had the same experience as you, but I know one thing. Your powers are what make you unique, and you shouldnt be afraid of using something that makes you the person you are." said issei to the girl will they walked out of the shop and made there way to the forest, with issei walking ahead of the girl missing the blush on her face.
Hyoudou household
Back at the mansion the girls were all sitting around doing some work or doing some reading themselves, but what they couldn't do was hear the noises coming from the training room below them.
In the training room below the girls, was kiba training their boyfriends, or it should be said it was more like the 5 guys trying to hit kiba and failing horribly. All the guys had their sacred gears out and were training with them to get one hit on kiba, but kiba kept blocking and evading their attacks. " Damn it, even with 5 people with sacred gears attacking him all at once and none of us can hit him, how strong is your sacred gear?" asked tento with anger in his voice.
" Either that or he has made some kinda super sword to fight us off," said shiroi.
" I even have an advantage with my light sword, given he is a devil," said shin.
" And it's not like I can help all that much with only using one of my sacred gears, '' said gin.
" i can somewhat surprise him with my teleportation but as soon as i teleport a second later he attacks me." said tanken
" if you guys must know. This sword is just a normal sword with the only change to it being that it is more durable, and I should also tell you I have magic weights on to limit my movement and slow me down. You guys are being a little hard on yourselves, given that you only started fighting the other day and I have been in fights for the majority of my life. But i will say this when it comes to sacred gears there are some level of differences between them but if you solely go off of the rating of the sacred gear then i should have lost to shiroi and tento given that their sacred gears are higher classes then mine, but i won. This shows that it's not based on what sacred gear you have but how you use it. Take for example this, issei who has the boosted gear which is a mid tier longinus class sacred gear defeated both the regulus nemea and the true longinus wielders even tho both of those sacred gears are high class longinus sacred gears." said kiba with his sword dissolving away.
" I can understand that even though it's hard to think about it. He does have a longinus class sacred gear that can double the user's power indefinitely. That's a little more than what we have." said tento.
" Well in all honesty if you and your brother shiroi fully unlock your sacred gears they can be on the same level as a longinus class sacred gear. Given they do hold the souls of two of the four sacred beasts." said kiba.
" Wait, my sacred gear holds the soul of the white tiger, and it can be a longinus class sacred gear?" asked shiroi.
" Yes it does and yes it can." said kiba looking at the two guardian beast wielders, seeing the look of shock and amazement coming from shiroi, and an aura of pride coming from tento.
"Gin you need to work on better hand to hand combat and better close quarters combat. Because you are basically only using one sacred gear for now you need to make the most of the sacred gear."
" I need to do something to use my other sacred gear, I need to get some kinda power for it." said gin.
" It will come with time, don't worry. Now shin your swordsmanship is a good base but you are still lacking in some areas, you need to utilize your light manipulation with the blade to your advantage changing from normal blade attacks to range attacks throwing off people from knowing what your next move is." said kiba.
" So attack with ranged attack but what if they are up close how can you attack at range when the range is an arm's length? And I am not the best with the light manipulation it's hard to use and the whole idea of picturing light to use it is hard when light doesn't have a real shape." said shin.
" If you make a ranged attack at close range it can cause enemies to move away and make more distance allowing you to make more ranged attack before going back to melee combat. As for the light manipulation, I am not the best choice for that seeing that i don't use much magic, akeno and rossweisse are the magic experts they could teach magic better." said kiba.
" rossweisse? Who is that? We haven't met this person yet." said shin.
" Ah yes, she is the other rook of our team. She is a valkyrie from asgard and used to work as the bodyguard for Odin the all father. She has access to a multitude of different magics and is able to use multiple at the same time, she is also a skilled hand to hand fighter." said kiba remembering his white haired friend.
" Wow, she sounds strong, where is she at? Shouldn't she be with you guys?" asked shin.
" She is in Asgard helping Odin at the moment. Now moving on, tanken will with your sacred gear you would make a hard target to hit and a great assassin, you are overly predictable and have very little knowledge of how to utilize your teleportation powers." said kiba.
" ya i know. I remember reading about a previous user being able to teleport so fast he could make after images and who he was one of the most feared ninjas in the world back in his time. But when i use it i have to concentrate on which one i want to teleport to and using knives is a lot harder than what you see in video games and in movies, but once i make it to the balance breaker i can really do some damage." said tanken.
" To make it to a balance breaker you first have to have a good footing with your sacred gear in its normal state. And don't worry about the time it takes to teleport and how you have to concentrate, it will come with time. As for using knives, specifically yours the best i would say is to learn a close fighting style focusing on hitting vital areas and quick kill spots, along with knives throwing given that you can summon your weapons to you and teleport to the ones you throw adding some confusion to your enemies.
"Thank you for your insight, I will try to do better and learn," said tanken.
"Great, now that we have that done, I have a question for you. You have been talking about how if we practice and go all out we can push our sacred gears to the next level but what about you, if you were to really fight us how would that go?" asked tento.
Instead of saying anything, Kiba held out his hand and a portal opened and a sword in sheath entered his hand, and in one motion kiba drew the blade from its sheath and immediately the boys were on their knees gasping for breath at the aura that the sword gave off. " What is that thing?" asked tento.
" It is not a thing. This is the Demonic Emperor Sword gram, it is said to be on the same level as Ascalon and Durandal. It was given to me by a great hero named Seigfried. I fought him in combat and he used this sword and four other demonic swords that I now have. Other than my balance breaker Sword of Betrayer, this is my strongest sword and this is its aura with me holding a majority of it back. If I let the full power of the sword out you all would have possibly died. It has taken me mean years to get to the point I am at and I am still learning myself. So to answer your question tento, if i was to fight serious against you guys, i would easily kill you all in the first 5 seconds of the fight, maybe 15 seconds if you and your brother activated your balance breakers right then or if tanken could teleport away from me." said kiba putting gram back into its sheath and back into his storage portal.
Looking at the boys who had recovered from the massive aura of gram, kiba had a smirk on his face. " Now you have rested long enough." summoning a normal looking straight sword kiba got into a fighting stance. " Time to get back to training." said kiba dashing at the boys.
Grigori
Sitting in his office with a stack of papers and an empty bottle of sake, was the former governor general of the Grigori azazel. Hearing a knock on his door, Azazel was happy to tell the person to come in, giving him a break from his paperwork. Walking in is the new governor general shemhazai. " Ah shemhazai , what can I do for you? Please tell me it's not more paperwork, I can't do any more." said azazel.
" No it's not more paperwork, You have the last of it on your desk." said shemhazai.
" Ah, thank you. So if it's not paper work what can i do for you?" asked azazel.
" There is a meeting I need you to go to. It is to give updates on how repairs are going and what we will do about the world class raiding game." said shemhazai.
" Ah yes that's right. I almost forgot about the raiding game. But I can head to that meeting, but after that I need some time to myself. I have done nothing but paper work for the past couple days." said azazel.
" Fine, you finish this paper work and go to the meeting, then you are free to do what you want." said shemhazai.
After talking to shemhazai and finishing his paperwork azazel made his way to the meeting area in the gremory domain.
Gremory domain meeting room
Sitting in the meeting room was sirzechs and his wife along with serafall leviathan waiting for the others to join them for the meeting. All three were talking when a magic circle appeared and in a flash of light azazel was standing in its place. " Long time no see, how are my favorite devils?" asked azazel making his entrance.
" Ah azazel, welcome. hope shemhazai has not had you doing too much paperwork." said sirzechs.
" You have no idea. It has been nothing but paper work for the past couple days. I had to drink a whole bottle of sake to get through it." said azazel.
" you will get used to it. It comes with time." said sirzechs.
" oh come on zechs, it's not that bad. I get my paperwork done pretty easily." said serafall.
As the four were talking another portal opened and out stepped the all father himself. " Ah old man of the north. How have you been? Haven't had a drink with you in awhile." said azazel.
" Who are you calling old? I can still beat you in a fight. But yes it has been too long since I had a good drinking buddy." said odin.
" hahaha i don't think you're wrong in that thought old man." laughed azazel.
" Welcome all father, thank you for coming to this meeting," said sirzechs.
" Please enough with the formal talk, we have been working together for long enough to be more normal with each other, besides with one of my valkyries on your sisters team and the red dragon boy, we are almost family." said odin.
" Speaking of, how is rossweisse and the new valkyries she is helping to train?" asked sirzechs.
" She is doing a good job but i swear, if she isn't teaching the young ones then she is talking about the dragon boy." said odin.
" Speaking of issei, how is he? I wasn't able to leave the Grigori so I haven't been able to visit him." asked azazel.
" Unfortunately I also haven't been able to visit issei. But I haven't heard anything too bad about issei recently." said sirzechs.
" What do you mean, too bad zechs. Have you heard about something Issei did?" asked serafall.
" Well I got a call from Vali and he said something about feeling the activation of the juggernaut drive…" sirzechs was interrupted by azazel and serafall.
" The juggernaut drive! What do you mean? What happened?" asked both serafall and azazel.
" If you let me finish I would have told you that, Vali said he felt for a short time before it disappeared. But we never felt the activation of the drive and the girls would have told us if anything happened. We think it was just one of the other gods or dragons using their power to repair damage to their domains or nests." said sirzechs.
" Oh thank god that he is alright. I would hate to show up to the meeting just to hear that something bad happened to issei." appearing in a bright flash of white like and the ringing of chimes from some where was the current ruler of heaven the archangel michael.
" Michael, good to see you. Hope heaven's repairs are coming along good." said azazel calming down from hearing about issei.
" It has been going well, we have almost fully repaired heaven. And it is also good to see you too azazel." said Michael smiling.
As the group were talking there was the sound of thunder in the distance, and before they knew it there was a strike of lightning into the room. Once the light went away standing there was the king of the olympians and the god of lightning zeus.
" Welcome lord Zeus, glad you could make it." said sirzechs.
" Glad to be here, I am quite interested in this world class raiding game, you call it." said Zeus, with a booming laugh.
" In time, first we must talk about the state of our domains." said a young good looking boy sitting in the chair next to odin.
" Ah lord shiva, good to see you here." said sirzechs with azazel and serafall being surprised to see shiva and not sense him till he let them.
" yes. It is good to see you as well young satan." said shiva.
" Now that we are all here, let us discuss the repairs and any problems we have had, before we talk about the raiding game." said serafall with everyone sitting down.
In the ORC clubroom
Rias gremory and and her queen akeno were having a meeting with the other devil heirest that rules over kuoh with rias, sona sitri. " It's been awhile since we were in the club room together. Right sona?" asked rias.
" Yes, it has been far too long. I also can not believe it is already that time of the month to talk about the condition of kuoh town." replied sona taking a sip of the tea the akeno made for the group.
" yes. First let's discuss some of the weird sightings that our peerage have found." said rias.
" oh so your peerage has found some weird sightings as well?" asked sona.
" Yes they have. Koneko reported the feeling of a very powerful demon that has been walking around the town. She first sensed it at the mall and followed it to the forest just outside of kuoh." said rias.
" a demon. Normally when one of them comes here they try to fight either you or me or one of our peerages, to think that one just walked around is weird especially if it's a powerful one. Also one of mine found something weird in the forest, said it was like something exploded and released a large amount of evil aura." said sona
" Well, it sounds like this demon might have done something or fought someone." replied rias.
" There might be one thing that could explain that. Saji reported to me that he and Vritra could sense and smell that of another dragon." said Sona with a serious face.
" a dragon, but I haven't heard anything from my team." replied rias with a little bit of fear.
" saji said that he almost missed the scent of the dragon if it wasn't for Vritra picking up on the aura residue of the dragon. He told me that it was so faint that it was almost like nothing was there, like the dragon was holding in all its power." said sona.
" It's one thing for saji and koneko to miss a scent but for a dragon king to almost miss the scent is another thing." said Rias, a little worried.
" That's not the worst part and it would explain why the demon didn't come for us or our peerage." said sona pausing to take a sip of tea.
" Well, don't keep me in suspense." replied rias.
" vritra said that the aura had the same density and power signature of a dragon on par or greater than draig and albion." said sona causing tsubaki and akeno to freeze in shock.
" Wait, are you telling me that vritra sensed a dragon that was?" said Rias, stopping in fear of the thought going through her head.
" yes. That it was a dragon on a heavenly dragon level or higher." said sona with some fear in her voice.
The other three people in the room were frozen in shock and fear at knowing a heavenly dragon level dragon was walking around their town without them knowing.
" This has been confirmed by one of my other peerage members telling me that she heard the cry of a dragon a couple days ago. So it wasn't some fluke or something. There was a demon and a dragon of great power in our town and I think they fought each other but my question is. How did we not feel their fight, and where is the area they fought? Because the small explosion area is no were near the amount of damage that beings of the power would make." asked sona to nobody.
With issei
In a clearing in the forest was Issei and Luna who had dressed down taking off their jacket and coat respectfully. As the two were fighting it was evident that issei was holding back and was staying on the defense. " Come on Luna I know you have more strength then that." said issei blocking lunas attacks with one hand behind his back.
" I'm trying. But using something i have tried to hide away for most of my life is not the easiest thing to do." said luna doing her best to try and actually hit issei, but the best she has gotten has been a attempted leg sweep but when luna went to sweep issei her leg was stopped dead by issei's legs that had not moved from the impact.
As the two were fighting, Issei was thinking of ways to get Luna to use her inner beast, but it was a bit harder than he thought. There have been a couple times when Luna has almost activated her ability but before she could she would hold herself back before the beast came out.
" Luna, I have a question. What is the feeling you get when you are about to transform?" asked Issei, still blocking and dodging attacks from luna.
" it's like a well of anger, and a weird feeling of something wanting out." said Luna, continuing to attack issei.
' partner i think that from her trauma and the want to suppress her power may have caused a persona of her power to manifest in her subconscious.' said draig in issei's head.
' Do you think if she transforms then the other persona would be the one in control. Or do you think that it is just a block in her mind?' asked issei.
' At this point, I don't know partner,' said draig.
Thinking for a second, Issei had an idea. " Luna, when you fight, do you hold your anger back or do you let it out in controlled bursts?" asked issei.
" What do you mean controlled bursts? Because I have been taught to keep emotions out of fighting and to let your mind guide you." said luna.
" Well when I was taught to fight I was taught to use my anger to help me push myself past my limits. When you use your anger it can give you that little push in power and adrenaline while you fight. I know someone that fights like you but every once in a will he would use his anger to accomplish great feats with his power. Maybe if you let your anger out a little you could use your power a little easier." said issei.
" I don't know, when my anger does come that feeling of something wanting out comes and I don't know what will happen when it comes out. I'm afraid I might hurt people and I may not go back to who I am." said Luna with a sad look on her face.
Seeing the look on the girl's face, issei's natural helpful self did its best to help the girl. " ha how about this. You try to let the anger and that feeling come out, and if something happens then I promise I will do whatever it takes to stop you and get you back to being yourself." said issei with a confident smile on his face.
Seeing the confidence and knowing that issei was powerful enough to handle her if something happened luna closed her eyes feeling the anger in her from many years of loneliness and from that night. Feeling that sense of something wanting out she didn't try and stop it letting it come out. Getting a weird feeling around her luna opened her eyes but she was in an all black area with nothing insite.
Turning around, Luna was scared when a massive silver wolf was growling at her with anger in its eyes. Backing away from the wolf Luna was expecting for the wolf to charge her at any second. But for every step she took back the wolf would take one step forward. Luna wanted to run to push the wolf away but she could hear something. It was faint but it sounded like issei.
Listening closer to issei's voice, she could hear him say something about not holding in anger. Thinking to herself, Luna looked back at the wolf and when she looked at its eyes and took a second to sense the wolf all she could feel was herself. Taking a step toward the wolf, Luna was expecting it to take a step back but it didn't move. Walking closer and closer to the wolf with it getting more and more aggressive the closer Luna got. When Luna was an arms length away the wolf looked ready to rip her apart limb from limb.
Closing her eyes, Luna held out her hand towards the wolf with her head turned away, and after a minute or two Luna felt something wet lick her hand. Turning back where there once was, a massive wolf was now just a small little wolf licking her hand wagging its tail. Grabbing the small wolf Luna felt a feeling like a piece of her was returned to the right place. With a smile on her face luna could see light coming from the darkness covering everything including her.
Opening her eyes from the light luna could see the forest that she was in with issei but everything was more clear and she could sense a lot more. The smells around her, the wind blowing past her, the strength that felt so foreign to her but yet it was like she always had it. Turning to where she could smell issei, she saw issei standing there with his arms crossed and a grin across his face.
Looking down at her hands she saw that they were no longer her normal hands but massive clawed hands with silvery gray fur. From issei s point of view he saw luna standing there one second then the next thing he knew lunas body was moving weirdly before he saw her fingernails elongating and her clothes and skin tearing with silvery gray fur underneath, with her legs growing and enlarging to look more like a wolf's legs, with a long silver tail coming from her tail bone. Her face started tearing as well before her clawed hands came up to her face and ripped the skin off her face revealing her elongated snout and sharp fangs on her still somewhat feminine wolf like face, and her upper and lower torso enlarging as the rest of her body changed to that of a 7 foot tall feminine like werewolf. Issei was surprised to notice that her face still had a female look to it and that her breasts were still somewhat visible but covered in silvery gray fur.
" So how do you feel?" asked Issei to the now werewolf luna.
" I feel strong, I feel fast. I feel free." said luna getting on all four and sprinting around the clearing dashing from one side to the other faster then even issei could, making a slash on a tree lunas claws went straight through the tree cutting it down, with luna being on the other side of the clearing before the tree even it the ground.
' damn, she's at the same speed as i am when i activate the welsh sonic boost knight. I wonder if she could give kiba a run for his money.' thought issei remembering the time he used the knight form to attack cao cao.
' yes she is mighty fast. For you to try and keep up with her you may have to boost the sonic boost knight form multiple times to just keep up with her, and that is if this is her full speed.' said draig to issei.
' ya, and those claws are definitely sharp and she does seem to have quite an amount of strength. I wonder how a fight now would go. A dragon against a wolf.' thought issei with a grin on his face.
" Hay luna." called out issei getting the wolf girl's attention.
Growing claws and scales on his hands with his feet doing the same and a long double bladed axe-like tail with a spear like tip at the end, issei was ready to fight with his purple dragon eyes staring down the wolf girl. " round two." said issei challengingly. With Luna's hair standing on end with her in an attack stance with her on all fours.
With the two staring each other down, and issei starting to growl through his sharpened teeth. Luna charges issei lunging at issei with her claws out toward issei. Barley seeing the girl coming at him issei moved to the side and slapped luna away with his tail, before charging in himself stomping on the spot luna was before she moved out of the way of the attack before jumping in isseis back rapping her legs around issei's torso and grabbing his arms with her claws and holding them out trying to stop issei from attacking her.
Luna was about to bite issei's shoulder but she had a tail wrap around her waist and pulled her off him leaving some small cuts on his arms and around his waist from her feet claws. Looking at Issei, Luna was a little afraid that she hurt him but saw the wounds she inflicted were healed by some shadows that covered his body. Seeing that she could go all out, Luna dashed back at Issei running fast then she did before with a feral grin on her face vanishing from Issei's site.
Not knowing were luna is because of her speed issei relied on his other senses to find the girl and before he knew it she had cut his leg leaving a deep cut on his leg that already started healing but then another cut then another and another, before issei started looking like a scratching post. When Luna went in for another cut, Issei moved to the side and grabbed Luna's leg before throwing her into a tree. As she tried to get up she was pinned to the tree by Issei stepping on her legs with his clawed foot and his arms holding Luna to the tree with his pointed tail inches from Luna's neck.
" I win." said issei with a grin releasing Luna and changing back to normal and letting the darkness around him heal the cut on his body he walked over to his coat to put back on.
Luna catching her breath letting herself change back to normal and getting up from the ground. As issei grabbed his coat and luna's jacket, he turned around to face the girl and with a speed he didn't know he had he turned back around facing away from luna. " Issei what's wrong, are you ok?" asked Luna.
" em, you ah. You may need to get some clothes made for you to transform given that. Well you know you kinda are a little exposed." said issei blushing like a mess and bleeding from his nose throwing his coat at luna without looking.
Wondering why issei was acting weird luna did feel a little cold and when she caught issei's coat she looked down at herself to see that she was fully naked missing all her clothes. With her face going red and trying her best to cover her body, Luna put issei's coat over herself to the best of her ability and looked away from issei.
" Sorry about that. I forgot that when I change forms it rips my clothing. I guess I am lucky I bought more than just one outfit. Could you hand me the bag with the other clothes in it please?" asked a blushing luna.
Issei grabbing the bag and handing it over to Luna and making some distance so that she could change into some clothes and so Issei could try and calm down and not think about Luna's naked body with her long silver hair running down her lean body and over her nicely shaped c-cup breasts. ' no mind stop thinking that!' yelled issei inside his head, with draig getting flashbacks to when his partner first met his former king. But when he thought about that he had a flash of anger at the red haired cheater for what she did to his partner.
After controlling himself and totally not saving the image of a naked Luna to his memory bank, Issei heard the girl tell him that she was done and he made his way back to her seeing that her face was still red. " So that happened, and I think that's a sign that training should be done for today and that maybe we should head back." said issei putting his coat back on holding his composer the best he could.
" ya i agree." said luna following issei with a smile on her red face, happy that she got a reaction like that from issei, even if it was a little embarrassing.
As they were walking back to the town the sun started to set and issei got a back feeling about the night. When the two were a couple miles from the town, Issei could hear the sounds of screaming and destruction. " Luna do you?" asked Issei, getting a conforming answer from luna. " alright let's go quick." said issei taking off at a full sprint with Luna right behind him keeping up.
Breaking through the tree line the two could see the town they were just in, being attacked by something and fire was erupting from multiple buildings. Making their way into the town, Issei was enraged at the site he saw. Attacking the innocent people of the town were vampires or what looked like vampires. ' partner that sent. They smell of alucard. I think these are his vampires that he made,' said draig.
" that bastard alucard. These are his minions that he made into vampires. He's trying to grow his strength." said issei, grabbing a vampire minion that tried to attack him by the neck.
" This is what that perverted vampire wanted to do to me? Is there a way to change these people back?" asked Luna to keep a distance from the vampires.
Issei was waiting for draig to answer the question but all he got was a sad no. " Unfortunately it is a permanent change. They are no longer themselves, they are just mindless minions of alucard now, so the best we can do for them is to put them out of their misery." said issei incinerating the vampire in his hand.
" What kinda flames were those? You still havent told me all that you can do." said Luna changing her nails into claws and cutting down vampires by stabbing them in their heart turning them to dust.
" Hey, don't know if you know this or not but remember the only ways to kill a vampire is to burn them to ash, decapitate them, or stab them in the heart. I don't think you can use holy magic so I won't really tell you to use that." said luna going from vampire to vampire stabbing them or cutting their heads off turning them to ash.
" noted" said issei making swords out of the shadows and going to work on the vampire cutting them down will moving through the town. Rounding a corner issei jumped at two vampires that were standing together pinning them to the ground with his sword in there chest as they turn to ash with another vampire coming behind him, but was stopped by issei's tail piercing through its heart and throwing it at another group of vampire knocking them down before turning to dust. Taking the opportunity, Luna charged the downed vampires and ripped them apart before going to the next target.
Seeing that the people of the town were holding up in the town hall where the vampires were trying to get in. " ha luna let's help those people and get these minions out of here." said issei.
" ya i can handle the ones on this side, you handle…. Issei watch out!" yelled Luna to Issei before he was tackled by something big. Rolling on the ground and throwing off whatever tackled him, issei getting into a stance making a two handed double bladed ax to replace the two swords he dropped. Looking at the creature that just hit him, Issei could hear two more things land behind him. Looking at the creature issei could tell it was somewhat humanoid but it had overly bat-like features with its overly elongated ears and hairy massive body. It also had a weird mix of arms and wings on the same appendage, looking like a much more monsterous version on alucards transformation.
" Issei be careful those are Vargheists. They're mutated vampires that have gone without blood for long periods of time. I can help, just….."Luna was cut off when a much more massive and bestial version of a Vargheist knocked her away.
Hearing the Vargheists roar at him, Issei was ready to fight. " three on one. This might be even if you can really handle me!" yelled issei charging the one that tackled him earlier, jumping in the air with his battle ax raised overhead. The beast seeing its target come towards it charged issei jumping at him with its wing/arms outstretched to grab issei, but was stopped by the battle ax being implanted in its face.
Smashing into the ground on top of the creature issei pulled the ax out of the creatures face and decapitated it, then made a ball of his fire and throw it at one of the oncoming Vargheists causing it to explode and be lit on fire by issei's black and purple flames. Unfortunately the explosion didn't hit the other Vargheist which tackled issei but this time issei was ready and braced himself and put the creature in a headlock before lifting the creature up and pile driving its head into the concrete, and having his tail stab the creature in the heart repeatedly till it stopped moving.
Getting off the ground and grabbing his battle ax, Issei heard the sound of gunshots going off. Turning to the sound, Issei saw Luna holding a lever action rifle shooting the bigger version of the Vargheist. As she was shooting the creature, it wouldn't do much damage just piss the thing off causing it to charge her to which she would dodge and repeat trying to buy time till she could think of a plan. But once she ran out of bullets in her rifle she would drop it and grab another that's on the ground dropped by the other residents of the town that were killed or just dropped it in a panic.
When she ran out of rounds in one rifle she dodged out of the way of another attack but wasnt ready for it to throw a piece of concrete at her. Getting up from the impact she saw the massive creature charge her but it was stopped by an ax slamming into its side. Looking to where it came from, Luna could see Issei standing there with the shadows around him moving around forming what looked like spears before they launched out at the massive creature making it look like a massive porcupine.
Making her way to Issei grabbing another rifle. " Thanks for the save, that is a pretty cool ability you got there." said Luna looking at the massive creature that was slowly recovering from the attack.
" You're welcome, but what is that thing?" asked Issei, making another battle ax and causing the blade edges to ignite in purple and black flames.
" It's called a Varghulf, it's what happens when a vampire becomes hungry enough to drink the blood of another vampire for sustenance. It is a crazy monster. Judging on how big this thing is and how strong it is, it has drunk the blood of a lot of vampires. But at the end of the day it is still a vampire. Best cause go for the head." said Luna shooting at the creature's eyes.
" say less." replied issei charging at the beast's legs. Making it to the beast dodging the swipes from the Varghulf issei swung at the creatures back leg cutting it off with the flaming black ax, getting the creature to roar and back hand issei sending him into a building. As the creature tried to turn to the building that issei was in, but was stopped by the feeling of claws digging into its back. Luna had jumped onto the Varghulf's back and grown her claws on her hands and feet to dig into the Varghulf's back. As the creature was trying to get Luna off its back it didn't notice Issei getting out of the building and making his way towards it.
Stopping in front of the Varghulf issei took a deep breath feeling the heat build up inside his chest. " Luna, move! now!" yelled issei.
Listening to issei luna jumped off the Varghulf's back making distance from the creature. Seeing that Luna was clear, Issei unleashed a massive breath of purple and black fire at the Varghulf. Blasting the fire for a solid couple seconds hearing the roars of the Varghulf. Once issei stopped and had smoke coming from his mouth, the Varghulf was a chard crisp lying lifeless on the ground slowly turning to dust.
Looking around issei couldn't see any more vampires or monsters around, he also couldn't sense anything in the area. " ha luna you alright. Any wounds or injuries?" asked issei.
" No, I'm alright just missing my boots and my arms are a little sore from all the attacks but overall ok." said Luna, putting her socks and boots back on, deciding to take them off before changing her feet into her wolf-like feet.
Once they were ready they made their way to the town hall where they could hear people yelling and screaming and someone trying to calm everyone down. Walking up to the massive double doors issei knocked on the door and called out. " Hey, is everyone ok in there? All the vampires are dead!" yelled Issei, hearing everyone inside go silent.
" Who's out there!" yelled someone inside.
" the people that just killed all the monsters!" said issei.
" The only thing that could kill those monsters is a monster! How can we be sure you're not one of those things?" asked the man.
" We still have heartbeats, and if you want you can open the door and if I look like one of the vampires you can blast my head off! Sounds good?" asked issei not getting a response until the doors opened and a man holding a shotgun took a step out pointing the barrel at issei's head.
" You dont look like one of those vampires you call them, and you haven't tried to rip my throat out so i guess you're ok." said the man putting his gun down will people started coming out of the town hall.
" looks like the people that you got into the town hall are all ok. I'm sorry about the people that didn't make it." said issei to the man.
" don't worry about that kid, with what you and your girlfriend did there, I can't blame you for their deaths. I can only blame the monsters that did this. I have to help some of our wounded, thank you again." said the man going back into the town hall.
' girlfriend.' thought issei feeling a small bout of anger come over him.
Will issei was thinking about what the man said luna came over to him to make sure everything was ok, but she was interrupted by a young looking man approaching. " hey you're the two that killed the vampires, Vargheists, and the Varghulf?" asked the young man.
" Yes we are. What can we do for you?" answered luna.
" Well, are you both also vampire hunters, or something else?" asked the young man.
" Yes we are. My name is Luna Hellsing and this is my companion." answered luna.
" Ah good. I am a new vampire hunter who only started a little bit ago. I was told to come here to investigate vampire activity and once I got here the vampires attacked. I did my best but they were out numbering us very fast changing people left and right. If it wasn't for you guys then we might not have made it out." said the young man.
" It was a pleasure." said luna.
" If you don't mind me asking, how did you deal with the Terrorgheist?" asked the young man with stars in his eyes.
" the what?" asked issei before a massive sound wave scream hit the ground were they were standing sending issei flying into a light post, seeing a massive bat like creature grab the unconscious bodies of the young man and luna, will another one was flying around spraying a purple mist from its mouth killing the townspeople. Hearing the screams of the people and the cries of the bat creatures issei passed out, with the last thing he heard was draig calling his name.
