Hello everyone, sorry for the long wait, but writing 5 big chapters takes a long time. Now if you haven't heard, my Trainer Of Vesperia is finished, and I started Violet Iron & Scarlet Beast; The Abyss Riders. My new Tales of the Abyss Story, which had a cameo in chapter 39 of Trainer Of Vesperia.
Now I based Violet Iron & Scarlet Beast off Kamen Riders, and I don't own Kamen Riders/ Pokemon/ Or Tales of The Abyss. This is all for fun, and I couldn't resist a Kamen Rider theme for my Gen 9 OC, and these Abyss Riders are my idea, I didn't base them off any Kamen Rider form the series, if they sound like a Kamen Rider from the series, then I didn't know, I only know W up in terms of Kamen Riders.
Plus things have been complicated with work and life (Nothing crazy, just a large pile of little annoying things) so it's been hard to find a moment to write. Now onto adventure 14.
Adventure 14
To Catch A Deathstalker And To Enjoy Each Other
The Past
After some time after Wolf ran away from the Cheetah Boxers and the Newton Wolves, and killed one of the Newton Wolves in the name of revenge and wearing its skin as a cloak, Kwat and Harris were chasing Wolf in the streets for the chocolate she had in hands. "Get back here, you little thief!" Harris said to Wolf. "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find chocolate around here?" Kwat asked Wolf.
Wolf then threw one of her shoes, hitting Kwat, and making Kwat stop. That's when Kwat noticed Wolf was running into a broken building, with piles of giant bones and Sick Green Light Crystals around it. Kwat knew exactly what this meant.
"Stop!" Kwat said, as she used her tongue, to stop Harris. "That is Deathstalker Territory." Kwat said to Harris, freaking out a little, and making Harris scoff. "She's as good as gone." Harris said to Kwat, as they walked away. "And so is that chocolate." Kwat said to Harris.
Once Wolf thought she got away, she started to eat the chocolate. But that's when she heard something moving, and got on guard and started to move. That's when she turned to see one of the scorpion monsters right behind them.
This caused Wolf's heartbeat faster, and the scorpion could only see the outline of Wolf from the the sound of her heart beat. Wolf then started to run and got up and onto a building's upper railing. But while above the scorpion, Wolf noticed it had no eyes, and was tracking her moves, enough though she wasn't making a lot of noise.
Wolf then threw her other shoe, and made a loud benign sound. But the scorpion didn't move or react to the noise. Wolf then had an idea, and touched her throat and noticed her heart beating fast. Wolf then started to relax, and slow down her heart beat. This made the scorpion lose track of Wolf and left.
Curious, Wolf followed the scorpion. From a roof, she watched the scorpion. On the roof, she found a metal rod. Wolf then jumped down onto the scorpion. This attack ended up with Wolf getting sent flying, with her taking one of its stingers. Wolf then crash landed in the middle of a black circle with some plant growing around. The pain of being tossed made her heart beat fast. This made the scorpion charge at Wolf. But once it touched the black part of the ground. It screamed in fear and ran away. Much to Wolf's surprise.
Las Vasta Streets
Back in the present, Javin had many flamingos carry giant fireflies sport lights, searching in the direction the gang left Cappuccino's place. Luckily they all hid in two run down cars that crashed into each other, with Kommo-o back in her Pokeball, and avoided the lights.
"They're gone for now. Where to?" Kalena asked Wolf, as Wolf looked at the map Cappuccino gave them. "The fastest way to Kipo parents' old burrow is through there." Wolf said to Kalena, pointing to the broken building, with piles of giant bones and Sick Green Light Crystals around it.
"Deathstalker territory." Wolf said to everyone. "Sounds inviting." Kalena said to everyone. "Death makes anything instantly more scary. Death Dave." Dave said to everyone. "Uh, having the word "Dave" in anything makes it instantly less scary." Benson said to Dave.
"Deathstalkers don't hunt you by sight or smell, they track you through your heartbeats. If your heart races, you're as good as dinner. Got it?" Wolf asked everyone. "Got it." Kipo said to Wolf. that's when they head squawking. This made them all yelp and hide.
Benson raised his head first. "We're clear! Go, go!" Benson said to everyone, as they started to move. Then they heard more squawking and hid behind some rubble. "We could go through the mountains. It'd be safer but it would take a couple of days." Wolf said to everyone.
"We don't have a couple of days! You heard that Noble! Scarlemagne is forcing all the mutes in the city to accept him as their emperor at his coronation next week!" Kipo said to Wolf. "When did we hear that again?" Aqua asked Kipo. "The point is, who do you think he's going to use to fight the ones that resist?" Kipo asked everyone.
"Bears." Dave said to Kipo. "No! My people. We have to get to my parent's burrow as fast as we can so I can figure out who I am, find an anchor, turn into a Mega Jaguar, and save everyone before that coronation!" Kipo said to everyone, panting. "Kipo relax. If we walk into an area where they hunt by heart beat, panicking will be like ringing the dinner bell." Kalena said to Kipo.
That's when they heard squawking again. "Those flamingos are not helping." Aqua said, as they started to move again, this time into a ruined party store. "We have to lose those flamingos!" Kipo said to everyone. "She's right, we need a diversion." Benson said to everyone. "I know what you're thinking. Teacup Chop-Chop, or Scoot-n-Shoot?" Dave asked Benson. "No, we need something bigger." Benson said to Dave, before looking around, and noticed some helium tanks.
"The Flaming Phantom!" Benson said to Dave. "Perfect!" Dave said to Benson. "Uh, what in the world are you guys talking about?" Kipo asked Benson and Dave. "We split up. Dave, Groove, and I create a diversion to distract these flamingos. You get through Deathstalker territory." Benson said to Kipo. "We'll catch up with you later." Dave said to Kipo.
"I'm not sure." Kipo said to Benson and Dave. "We got this! Benson and I have lived through some bad things." Dave said to Kipo, pulling out a rainbow pinata. "Kipo, they're right. It will be impossible to calm down while being chased by scorpions and flamingos. Splitting up is the fastest way that doesn't definitely get us all killed." Wolf said to Kipo. "Plus my fear of apes and monkeys would make me a very tempting target, so I vote for the boys to do their stupid stunt." Aqua said to Kipo.
Kipo didn't like it, but agreed with them. "OK, but be careful." Kipo said to Dave. "Ooh! Do you still have that can of cheese?" Dave said to Kipo and asked Benson. "Indeed I do, my friend!" Dave said to Benson, tossing Dave the can of cheese. "We'll use Mandu for the mustache!" Dave said, making Mandu try and hide behind Kipo's leg.
Dave then started to leave a trail of cheese out the door, and Mandu followed the tail of cheese as she ate it. "When you see an explosion-." Benson said to everyone, but was interrupted by Dave. "Two! Flaming Phantoms is two!" Dave said. "Sorry! Two explosions, that means you're good to go." Benson said to everyone. "Just don't get yourselves blown up or caught." Aqua said to Benson. "Will do." Benson said to Aqua.
"Hey, Flamingos! Over here!" Benson said, getting the flamingos' attention. This made it squawk and made all of the flamingos. This led to Benson, Dave, Mandu, and Groove to run, causing two very loud explosions. "I guess that's our cue." Wolf said to everyone else, as they went into Deathstalker territory.
Meanwhile Scarlemagne, Javin, Jester, and Maira, were in front of a large bank vault, with Hoag putting a wine glass in front of the vault. Scarlemagne then made Hoag pour some nectar from a nectar-bombs into the wine glass. Once he was done, Hoag walked back to Scarlemagne. "The nectar bomb is ready, your imperial majesty." Hoag said to Scarlemagne.
"Ah-ah-ah, not yet. I am not officially your emperor until the coronation. Until then you may refer to me as: future imperial majesty, whom I am vastly inferior to for I am nothing but lowly human gutter sludge. Go ahead, refer to me that way." Scarlemagne said to Hoag. "I-I can't remember all that." Hoag said to Scarlemagne. "Of course, you can't. You're lowly human gutter sludge. Step back." Scarlemagne said to Hoag, before pushing Hoag away.
"All of you, step back! We're about to make some beautiful music. Now where is my soprano? I need my soprano!" Scarlemagne said to everyone. "She's right next to you." Javin said to Scarlemagne, making Scarlemagne notice the lemur mute next to him. "Right. If you please?" Scarlemagne asked the lemur, before pushing Javin, Jester, Maria, and Hoag away.
"Give us a high C, would you?" Scarlemange asked the lemur. That's when the lemur started to vocalize. This caused the wine glass to shake, and it exploded, sending the table flying into the lemur. This made Scarlemange laugh a little. "I don't see what's funny about this?" Javin said to Scarlemange. "That is." Scarlemange said to Javin, pointing to the blown door, and the room full of gold in it.
"There was a time you humans waged countless wars to attain wealth like this. But for two centuries they've been sitting here like a useless pile of bricks. Waiting for someone like me to take them. Why? Because I like shiny things." Scarlemange said to Javin, walking up to the gold. "Seems like a waste of time to be. But you're the boss." Javin said to Scarlemange, before they made a lot of humans carry out the gold and back to their place, with Scarlemange, Javin, Jester, and Maria in Scarlemange's flamingo.
Watching this was Emilia, and two of her grunts. "Rescuing that many people is gonna be tricky, and with a Cheetah Boxer around, this is going to be hard." Emilia said to her grunts, before they started to move.
Back in Deathstalker territory, Wolf was talking to everyone as they moved through the area. "Kipo, about these scorpions. It only takes one sting to knock you out cold. Then they drag you back to their lair and prepare you for dinner. Nothing is immune to their venom. Not even a mega." Wolf said to Kipo.
"And with that, I'm gonna try and be calm. Somehow" Kipo said to herself, while looking at a mega dog skull. "Yeah, if being calm is the key to getting through here. Saying stuff like that doesn't help." Kalena said to Wolf. "I'm gonna look at my hands. My calm, calm hands. I am all serious." Kipo said to everyone.
"Well, your arm says otherwise." Wolf said to Kipo. that's when Kipo noticed her right arm had jaguar fur, making Kipo gasp. "Herb in, herbs out." Kipo said, turning her arm back to normal. "You know it's your fault she's wound up." Aqua said to Wolf. "It's OK, I got this, I just gotta be cool…" Kipo said to everyone, but Wolf held a hand in front of Kipo, making Kipo stop talking.
"Inhale for four counts." Wolf said to Kipo, before inhaling for 4 seconds, before they all started to walk. "Exhale for eight." Wolf said to Kipo, before exhaling. "That's how I keep my heart rate down." Wolf said to Kipo. Kipo decided to try it. "In for four… Out for eight… Keep your cool… Now you're great." Kipo said, taking a breath.
"Everything OK?" Wolf asked Kipo, making Kipo chuckle. "Oh, yeah. I'm rhyme timing. In for four, out for eight keep your cool, now you're… almost but not really, hardly at all, great. This is kinda intense, huh?" Kipo said to everyone, as they slid down some ruble.
That's when Wolf stopped everyone. That's when they noticed a deathstalker right in front of them, with the deathstalker missing a singer. "Friend of yours?" Kalena asked Wolf. "Just lower your heart beat." Wolf said to everyone. Then everyone started to lower their heart beat. This made the deathstalker lose track of them, and it left. That's when another one passed by them, and it didn't notice them.
But as they started to move, Kipo hit a plant, and it made her scream. This made their hearts beat faster, and got the attention of the deathstalkers. This made the deathstalkers roar at them. "Poipole." Virgo said, as she fired a beam of light green energy, with shapes in it at the deathstalker. But the beam bounced off one of the deathstalker like it was a mirror.
"Well that didn't work." Kalena said to everyone. "Run!" Wolf said to everyone. "I completely agree with that plan." Aqua said to Wolf, as they all started to run. But as they ran, Kipo ran backwards, and looked at the deathstalkers. That's when Wolf and Kalena grabbed Kipo and made her move faster.
"I just have to say it, talking everything I've got to not mute our right now!" Kipo said to Wolf, as her ears popped out and eyes changed. "You were saying?" Kalena asked Kipo. "Herbs in, herbs out!" Kipo said, retracting ears, and turning her eyes back to normal. "Phew." Kipo said. "This way." Wolf said, leading everyone down a street.
Wolf led everyone to the middle of a black circle with some plant growing around. "Stand still." Wolf said to everyone. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Kipo asked Wolf. "Trust me." Wolf said to Kipo. That's when the deathstalkers charged at them. But as soon as one of the deathstalker touched the black circle, it roared in fear. This made the other deathstalkers roar in fear, before they all ran away.
"What just happened?" Aqua asked Wolf. "The deathstalkers are scared of this spot. Don't know why, they can't see it." Wolf said to Aqua. "Now, everyone, relax. We're safe here, so we have time to relax." Wolf said to everyone.
After a minute of deep breaths, everyone calmed down, and lowered their heat rate. Once that was done, Wolf started to walk with everyone following her. Wolf then led everyone to a fire escape. After climbing the fire escape, they pulled up the ladder. "Careful, there's a loose rung." Wolf said to everyone.
Kipo took a step, and noticed the loose rung. "Whoa! How did you know about that?" Kipo asked Wolf, as Wolf took off board from a window. "Because this used to be my home. Whip your feet before you come in." Wolf said to Kipo.
"Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You had a home before? How come I never knew?" Kipo asked Wolf. "Don't get excited. It's just a random place I found." Wolf said to Kipo, before going into the building. "Not getting excited… by this magical place." Kipo said, before going into the building, and running around the place. "Living in an area of heart hunting beasts. That explains a lot about her." Aqua said to Kalena, before they entered the building.
"We should totally make it our forever hideout!" Kipo said to everyone. "Kipo, settled down." Kalena said to Kipo. "Sorry." Kipo said to Kalena. "Ok, I get that slowing down your heartbeat to a normal person level will be tough for you. But you can't make it a game. To get out of here alive, you need to be serious." Wolf said to Kipo.
"Ah! This is where you slept! Your bed is made up of inflatable guitars!" Kipo said, laying on a pile of inflatable guitars. "I don't think she's paying attention at the moment." Aqua said to Wolf. "You had a teddy bear?" Kipo asked Wolf, noticing a teddy bear on the coach in the room. "That's a head rest." Wolf said to Kipo. "Only to you Wolf." Kalena said to Wolf.
"Oh, I can just imagine little Wolf over here, all like, "these aren't toys, they're survival tools"." Kipo said, before throwing the teddy bear down. "I've never said that. But that is true." Wolf said to everyone. "Again, only to you." Kalena said to Wolf.
"I get it, this is a jump rope. That's survival. Survival of the fitness!" Kipo said, picking up a jump rope and started to jump. "It's a hand-stopper. Why are you jumping in place with it?" Wolf asked Kipo. "Because that's what it's for. It's not a hand-stopper thing." Aqua said to Wolf
"Hand-stopper? No way?! What's a hand-stopper?" Kipo asked Wolf, as she stopped jumping. Wolf held out a hand, and Kipo gave her the jump rope. Wolf then made a grunt noise, as she used the jump rope to tie the teddy bear's arms and legs. "Awesome!" Kipo said to Wolf. "Not really, that's too small and weak to be used as an actual rope." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Ah! Kipo said, before noticing some batons. "I haven't seen these since my fifth grade graduation party! I was really scared to dance so I played with these the whole time instead. But then I learned while I was playing, really I was dancing." Kipo said to everyone, as she started to play with the batons, making Wolf laugh.
"What are you doing?" Wolf asked Kipo. "I'm doing devil sticks, duh! And dancing!" Kipo said to Wolf, before making one of the batons fly towards Wolf. "Oh, that's what the third fighting stick was for. Here, let me show you. It's all in the wrists." Wolf said to Kipo, making Kipo toss the batons to Wolf.
Wolf then used the Batons as weapons. "That is not what I was talking about!" Kipo said to Wolf. "You could do it with no problem once you got the hang of it. OK, so back to calming your heart rate-." Wolf said to Kipo, but was interrupted by Kalena. "No, no, no, no. Everything you know is fighting or exercise. All of which will only make our hearts beat like crazy." Kalena said to Wolf. "That's not true, I know a lot of calming and relaxing things." Wolf said to Kalena.
"Then what's this?" Kalena asked Wolf, holding a pool cube and some pool balls. "Those are some colorful round rocks and a tin wooden spear." Wolf said to Kalena. "This?" Kalena asked Wolf, holding up a steamer. "That is a foot tier." Wolf said to Kalena. "And this?" Kalena asked Wolf, holding up a deck of cards. "That's distraction paper." Wolf said to Kalena.
"Okay, all of that was wrong." Aqua said to Wolf. "And that only proves my point, now we need to find something calm and-." Kalena said to everyone, but was interrupted by Kipo turning on a mic and it let out a loud static ring. "This karaoke machine works!" Kipo said to everyone. "And my ears aren't." Aqua said to Kipo, as everyone gave her a mean look, and as Aqua rubbed her ears.
"Ooh. Sorry. I'm sure Wolf is about to tell us her super-tough Wolfie name for this." Kipo said to everyone. "That is a Hoot-Hoot." Wolf said to everyone, making Kipo giggle a little. "Why do you call it that?" Aqua asked Wolf.
"Scorpions are afraid of owls. I use the Hoot-hoot to make owl sounds like this: Hoot! Hoot!" Wolf said to everyone, with a very deep voice. "Are you sure it wasn't your call that scared them and not the hoot-hoot sound?" Kalena asked Wolf. "Aww. Hoot-hoot?" Kipo asked Wolf.
"I was fine when I named it. And it is the sound. Now let's try to focus so we can get out of this death trap." Wolf said to everyone. "Oh, come on. Does it always have to be life or death? Can't it be "have fun" for a minute?" Kipo asked Wolf. "No." Wolf said to Kipo, with a mean look on her face. "Then how about trying some mediation?" Aqua asked. Kipo didn't like it but agreed to it.
After an hour of mediating, Wolf scared Kipo, breaking Kipo's mediation, and making her jaguar fur pop out. "Try again." Wolf said to Kipo. "Come on! I was so close that time." Kipo said to Wolf. "Close doesn't cut it. We've got to get you to be calm in the eyes of danger or else we're never gonna get out of-" Wolf said to Kipo, before she stopped talking and scared Kipo, making Kipo fall to the floor.
"OK, that time wasn't fair." Kipo said to Wolf, as she got up. "OK, OK. Try again." Wolf said to Kipo. "No. No more of this. You screaming in her face has completely ruined this idea. We need to do something else." Kalena said to Wolf. "I'm just trying to help." Wolf said to Kalena. "Your "helping" is only making things worse. I doubt you even know what the word help means. After all, you think everything is a weapon or something bad is going to happen. So a good word like "help" probably isn't in your vocabulary." Kalena said to Wolf, as the two of them locked horns.
"I'm sorry." Kipo said to Kalena and Wolf, as she got up and walked away, getting WOlf and Kalena's attention. "Sorry about what?" Kalena asked Kipo. "We've been doing this nonstop for over an hour and I can't focus on focusing anymore! And it's making you fight." Kipo said to Kalena and Wolf, looking outside to see a couple Deathstalkers outside.
"Kipo, it's important." Wolf said to Kipo. "I know it's important! But what if I don't have it in me?" Kipo said to Wolf. "Kipo. I know you have it in you. Let me tell you my elder Kommo-o's told me about focus. The key is to take things one step at a time. Don't think of your people, don't think of the jaguar. Just think about getting out of here for now." Kalena said to Kipo.
"How can I? Everyone I care about is depending on me to do something I've never done before, and if I don't do it right even one time I'm putting them all at risk, including you guys. And I can't stop thinking about it long enough to focus on being calm!" Kipo said to everyone, as they sat down, and Kipo put her face into her hands. That's when Kalena sat right next to Kipo, and wrapped an arm around Kipo.
"Kipo, I can't imagine what's racing around in your head. But I know when your time comes, you'll be ready for it." Kalena said to Kipo. "How can you be so sure?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Because ever since I met you. You beat the odds for a sheltered cave girl living on this crazy surface. Plus, while your plans are crazy, they more or less work out great, and you make new friends. So I know things will work out in the end." Kalena said to Kipo.
"But how am I ever going to control the Mega jaguar side of me?!" Kipo asked Kalena. "You'll figure it out. I know you will. And I'll be there to help. After all, unlike Wolf, who has no idea what it means to be nice. I know when you need an earful or gentle words." Kalena said to Kipo, rubbing her head. This made Wolf feel bad.
"You know what, let's take a break." Wolf said to everyone, surprising everyone. "You mean it? Thank you!" Kipo said to Wolf. Kipo then ran up and picked the mic and song book. "Ooh! What song should we sing?" Kipo asked everyone. "We? No one said anything about we?" Wolf asked Kipo, as Kipo read the song book.
"They have one of my favorite songs! It's a duet so you have to sing." Kipo said to Wolf. "Pass." Wolf said to Kipo. "Come on, just sing with her. It won't kill you." Aqua said to Wolf. "She got a point. But if you'd rather sulk at the wall on your break, that's on you." Kipo said to Wolf, as she turned on the karaoke machine.
"Also, thank you for the break." Kipo said to Wolf. "Here I go." Kipo said. "When the night is dark. And the outside's so cold." Kipo sang. "Wolf!" Kipo asked Wolf, holding the mic to Wolf. "Heroes on fire." Kipo sang. "Come on." Kipo said to Wolf, before moving back to the machine.
"I'm a child I knew. About a world so true." Kipo sang, before moving to Wolf's side. "You should pull down the stars." Kipo sang. "Wolf!" Kipo said to Wolf. "Just join her." Kalena said to Wolf, as Kipo got up. "I needed a hero. If I only knew that the hero was me." Kipi sang "The hero was you, was you." Kipo sang, pointing to Wolf, making Wolf feel proud.
"Fear pulls me down. Reckless and hot." Kipo sang before tossing Wolf an inflatable guitar. "It tells me I'm nothing. When I know that I'm not!" Kipo sang, before pulling Wolf up. "When I know that I'm not!" Kipo sang, making the mic screech. "Standing alone, in my fire!" Kipo sang, as she picked up the inflatable guitar.
Kipo's singing made the Deathstalkers outside leave. "You're not alone!" Kipo sang to Wolf. "Future's hanging on a wire!" Kipo sang. "Come on." Kipo said to Wolf, as she air guitar. "Just take my hand!" Kipo sang, holding out a hand to Wolf. "Take it! Literally, come! Take it!" Kipo said to Wolf, getting right up into Wolf's personal space.
"Take it! Literally, come on! Take it!" Kipo said to Wolf, with Wolf trying to push Kipo back, but was only taken by Kipo. "Standing alone, in my fire!" Kipo sang, as she made her and Wolf rock side to side, and rubbing the mic in Wolf's face. "You're not alone!" Kipo sang, before getting the batons. "Heroes on fire! You and me, baby!" Kipo sang, as she used the batons as drum sticks.
That's when the song ended, and it showed Kipo got a 75. "Not bad Kipo." Aqua said to Kipo. "Your turn." Kipo said to Aqua, holding the mic to her. "What? Me?" Aqua asked KIpo. "Not you. Us. Come on, let's show Wolf how two people work together." Kalena said to Aqua, taking the mic, and pulling Aqua to the screen. "Prefect. Let me pick a song." Kipo said to Kalena and Aqua, as she looked through the songs. "Here you go." Kipo said to Kalena, as she picked a song, and moved to the coach with Wolf.
Then the song started playing. "You come to me with scars on your wrist. You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this." Kalena sang. "I just came to say goodbye. Didn't want you to see me cry. I'm fine." Aqua sang. "But I know it's a lie…" Kalena sang, as she wrapped her arm around Aqua, surprising Aqua.
"This is the last night you'll spend alone, look me in the eyes so I know you know I'm everywhere you want me to be." Kalena sang to Aqua, locking eyes with Aqua, and making Aqua eyes widen. "The last night you'll spend alone, I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go. I'm everything you need me to be." Kalena sang, as she let go of Aqua.
"You parents say everything is your fault. But they don't know you like I know you, they don't know you at all." Kalena sang to Aqua, as Aqua shook her head. "So sick of when they say, it's just a phase you'll be okay, you're fine." Aqua sang. "But I know it's a lie." Kalena and Aqua sang.
"This is the last night you'll spend alone, look me in the eyes so I know you know. I'm everywhere you want me to be. The last night you'll spend alone, I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go. I'm everything you need me to be." Kalena sang, wrapping an arm around Aqua, and locking eyes with Aqua. This made Aqua's beat fast.
"The last night away from me…" Kalena sang Aqua, before she started to twirl a little with Aqua. "The night is so long when everything's wrong. If you give me your hand I will help you hold on." Kalena sang, as she held Aqua's hand. "Tonight… Tonight…" Kalena sang, before going quiet.
"This is the last night you'll spend alone, look me in the eyes so I know you know. I'm everything you want me to be." Aqua sang, as she locked eyes with Aqua. "The last night you'll spend alone, I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go." Kalena sang, as she wrapped her arms around Aqua. "I'm everything you need me to be." Kalena sang to Aqua. "I won't let you say goodbye, and I'll be your reason why. The last night away from me. Away from me…" Kalena sang to Aqua, whispering that last part.
That's when the song ended, and they got to see their points. "We got a 90. Now that's what teamwork brings." Kalena said to everyone. "You too make a really good team." Kipo said to Kalena and Aqua. "I… didn't… do… much… Um… can we… try meditating… again." Aqua said to everyone, as she walked away from Kalena, hiding her bright red face. "What's up with her?" Wolf asked everyone. "I don't know." Kalena said to Wolf.
Some time later, they all got back to meditating. Wolf then tried to scare them, but no one was startled by her, even after she swung her stick at everyone. "In for four, out for eight, keep your cool, now you're great." Kipo whispered, very calm. Wolf then noticed everyone else was just as calm as Kipo. "I think we're ready." Wolf said to everyone. "Let's go to your parent's old burrow." Wolf said to Kipo.
With a head nod from Kipo, they left Wolf place. "In for four… Out for eight… Keep your cool, now you're great." Kipo said, as they walked. "Kipo, just, knock it off for a second. I need to be able to focus." Wolf said to Kipo. "Plus saying that isn't going to help." Kalena said to Kipo.
"It's OK, Wolf and Kalena. This is how I keep calm. I'll do it silently." Kipo said to everyone, before she started to mumble to herself. That's when Wolf noticed a Deathstalker behind them, and gasped. "Kipo." Wolf whispered to Kipo. "I'm in a zone here." Kipo said to Wolf.
The Deathstalker then charged at everyone. "Kipo!" Wolf said, as she threw Star, and Star shot out spinning leaves. "Wolf?" Kipo asked, as the leaves just scratched up the Deathstalker, and the Deathstalker was about to strike Kipo. but Wolf took the hit for Kipo. Then the Deathstalker charged at Wolf, revealing it was going after Wolf from the start, making everyone gasp.
Wolf could move, and the Deathstalker started to take her away. "Oh no you don't!" Kalena said, as she let out Kommo-o, and put in her Dragon Type Z-Move. "Primal forces!" Kalena said, crossing her arms. "Come forth!" Kalena said, stretching out her arms. "Show this world your furry!" Kalena said, as she pulled back her hands, and then pushed back out. "And the might of dragons!" Kalena said, as she moved her hands, as if it was a mouth. "DEVASTATING DRAKE!" Kalena said, as the teal energy flew out of her and into Kommo-o.
"Kommo-o!" Kommo-o said, as massive purple energy formed around the end of her mouth. Kommo-o shot the energy, turning it into a bolt. The bolt gained spikes, dragon wings, and a dragon head. The bolt flew up to the Deathstalker, and bit into it, making it drop Wolf. Then it flew into the sky, with the Deathstalker in its mouth. This caused a massive explosion, and made Deathstalker parts fall down from the sky.
That's when another Deathstalker, the one Wolf stole the stinger form, came up and grabbed Wolf, and took her away before anyone could do anything. "Well that didn't work." Aqua said to everyone. "What would Wolf do?" Kipo asked everyone. "Leave us to die, tell us to run, or go back to her place and grab everything she thinks is a weapon." Aqua said to Kipo, holding up three fingers. "Let's go with that last option." Kipo said, as they went back into Wolf's place.
Hand-stoppers." Kipo said, grabbing the jump rope and putting it around her shoulder. "Fighting sticks." Kipo said, putting the batons on her back. In Kipo's hands was the mic and Wolf's stick. "Time to be serious. Hoot-hoot! Hoot-hoot!" Kipo said into the mic. "Yeah, I can't take you seriously, when you do Wolf's thing." Kalena said to Kipo.
Back with Wolf, the Deathstalker took her into an underground parking area. The Deathstalker then threw the outcold Wolf onto the floor. But before it could do anything, the Deathstalker heard a lot of heartbeats, and turned around to see everyone else standing at the entrance. "Okay. let's do this." Kalena said to everyone, as they charged.
The Deathstalker tried to sting Wolf again, but Kipo used the jump rope to tire up its singers. The Deathstalker then tried to use its pincers on Kipo, but Aqua, Kalena, and Cloak held one back, with Kommo-o holding the other pincer. Kipo then hog tied the piner Kommo-o was holding, and pulled, making the Deathstalker trip. Kipo then ran to Wolf's side. "Wolf!" Kipo said, trying to wake Wolf. "Kipo, it's breaking free!" Kalena said to Kipo, as the Deathstalker started to break the jump rope, and get the others off it.
That's when jaguar fur appeared on Kipo's leg. "Kipo tried a Z-move. We know they work on them." Aqua said to Kipo. "Good idea." Kipo said to Aqua, as she crossed her arms. "For my dad!" Kipo said, as she held her hands out, still crossing them, and Kipo glowing white. "For my friends!" Kipo said, as she moved her hands down to the right, and then moved their left hands up. "For tomorrow!" Kipo said, as she formed a Z with her arms.
This made the white energy flow into Virgo. "POIPOLE!" Virgo roared, as she let out a surge of white energy. Virgo then charged at the Deathstalker at high speed. When Virgo hit the Deathstalker, it forced the Deathstalker back away from everyone. But that wasn't enough to stop it.
The Deathstalker then charged at everyone, and Kipo charged at it. Kipo used the batons to defend herself, and jumped onto its back. That's when Kipo noticed the Deathstalker trying to sting her. But Kipo dodged the attack, and the Deathstalker stinging itself, killing it. That's when Kalena clapped. "Impressive Kipo." Kalena said to Kipo.
"I did it!" Kipo said, before we went to pick up Wolf, with Wolf's stick on her back. "Really wish you were awake to see it." Kipo said to Wolf. "See what?" Wolf asked Kipo, as she woke up. "Wolf!" Kipo said to Wolf. "Shh. What happened?" Wolf asked everyone, as she sat down next to a concrete pillar, and pointed to the dead Deathstalker.
"You got stung by a deathstalker and we saved you!" Kipo said to Wolf. "We saved. More like you saved her. All we did was hold it back, you're the one that killed that Deathstalker." Kalena said to Kipo, smacking the back of Kipo's back.
That's when they heard screeching, and more Deathstalker were outside the parking lot. "Oh no." Kipo said. "In for four… Out for eight…" Kipo said, taking a few breaths. "Keep your cool, now we're great." Wolf said to Kipo, as Kipo's leg turned back to normal. "Hide. Use the pillars as cover." Aqua said to everyone, as the Deathstalker came into the parking lot.
And while they tried to calm down, the two new Deathstalkers caused their hearts to beat wild. Lucky by using the pillars as cover, the Deathstalker thought it was nothing and left them.
That's when everyone ran out of the parking lot. "Okay, time for me to use my Z-move." Aqua said as she crossed her arms, and glowed dark purple. "With strong acid!" Aqua said, as she dangled her left arm. "Wash away all that infects!" Aqua said, as she raised her right hand, like she was dripping liquid. "ACID DOWNPOUR!" Aqua said, as she stepped forward with her left foot, and kneeled with her right leg, and spread out her arm, with her right hand held up, and her left hand held down.
"NIHILEGO!" Cloak said, as she let out a massive wave of acid, and even some acid rain. The acid hit the entrance to the parking lot and went into the parking lot. The two Deathstalkers inside scream in pain, as the parking lot entrance came down, trapping them inside. "There. That should buy us some moments of peace." Aqua said to everyone. "Then let's not waste it. Run!" Wolf said to everyone.
Scarlemagne's Palace
Back Scarlemagne's Palace, Scarlemagne was looking at the pile of gold, with Jester, as the sun started to rise. That's when Javin, Maria, and Lemieux came flying in, much to Scarlemagne's annoyance.
"Javin, explain why you brought me Lemieux?" Scarlemagne asked Javin. "Well boss, I went to see if Lemieux had Kipo and Kalena, and to punish her if she failed to catch them for you or me my prey. But she found something you'll want to see." Javin said to Scarlemagne. "And what did you find?" Scarlemagne asked Lemieux. "That." Lemieux said to Scarlemagne, pointing up.
That's when some flamingo's came flying in, carrying the Mega Monkey's collar. "The Mega Monkey's collar. It's gotten free!" Scarlemagne said, looking at the collar. "Yep, the smartest mega around is free." Javin said to Scarlemagne. "I want the monkey! We must find her immediately!" Scarlemagne ordered everyone.
"I thought you would never ask. Hunting that Mega Monkey will be the last and the greatest hunt of the Cheetah Boxers History." Javin said to Scarlemagne, as he, Scarlemagne, Jester, and Maria started to walk.
From a tree top, Emilia and her gran saw the collar getting carried by the flamingos. "No. He's going after the monkey. We have to get to her first." Emilia said to her grunts.
Las Vasta Streets
Back in the streets, the girls and their Pokemon made it out of Deathstalker territory. "Kipo, you were amazing back there!" Wolf said to Kipo, with an excited voice. "You learned all the stuff I taught you so quickly!" Wolf said to Kipo. "Thanks. I had a good teacher. Sorry I wasn't focused before. If I had been better at it, maybe you wouldn't have been caught in the first place." Kipo said to Wolf.
"I don't think that was on you. I think that Wolf was being a worry wart, and didn't trust you enough. And the Deathstalker was after her and not Kipo." Kalena said to everyone. "Kalena's right. I got myself caught, I worried about you. But you did it. You were focused, calm, and cool." Wolf said to Kipo, making Kipo giggle. "I was, wasn't I?" Kipo said to Wolf.
"And you lead everyone to rescue me from Deathstalkers, so becoming a Mega Jaguar and saving your people should be easy as pie." Wolf said to Kipo. "You think so?" Kipo asked Wolf. "No." Wolf said to Kipo. "Me neither. But at least I'm not alone." Kipo said to Wolf. "Glad to see you feeling better about this." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Okay, time to focus on getting to my parents' burrow. Nothing can stop us now." Kipo said to everyone, as Wolf started to hum the song Kipo sang last night, surprising everyone. "Wolfatha Christie the Fourth, are you humming?" Kipo asked Wolf, making Wolf groan.
"It's that stupid song you sang. I can't get it out of my head." Wolf said to Kipo. "You what? How did it go? I-I forget how it goes." Kipo asked Wolf, placing her hands behind her back. "Yes, Wolf, remind us. How does the song go?" Kalena asked Wolf, as everyone gave her a sheepish smile. "When the night is dark. And the outside so cold. Heroes on fire." Wolf sang, not wanting too and blushing from embarrassment.
But Wolf stopped singing, as they heard Mandu squealing. That's when they noticed Dave flying in, with him wearing a trench coat and in his muscle form, Benson wearing a cowboy outfit, Groove wearing a saloon girl outfit, and Mandu covered in fluff making her look like a sheep.
"Whoa! Did I hear Wolfie singing?" Dave asked everyone. "I know, right. Wasn't it amazing?" Kipo asked everyone. "Wiat, what happened to you four?" Wolf asked the guys. "Yeah. what's all this?" Kalena asked the guys, circling them with her right hand. "Long story. Tell you later. But first… Fear Pulls me down. Reckless and hot." Benson said to everyone, before he started to sing.
"It tells me I'm nothing. When I know that I'm not!" Everyone but Wolf sang. "Take it, Wolf!" Kipo said to Wolf. "Standing alone in my fire." Wolf sang, with a quiet voice. "You're not alone!" Everyone else sang, with a loud voice. "Whoa." Benson said. "Standing alone in my fire." Everyone, but Wolf, sang, as they started to walk.
"You guys, this is our song now." Kipo said to everyone. "In that case. We must sing it until we all know the words, and Wolf joins the group singing. So hit it." Kalena said to everyone. "You're not alone." Everyone, but Wolf, sang. "You're not alone, girl." Dave said to Wolf.
