Hello everyone, welcome to chapter 22, a couple things before we start.
First the winner of the vote for the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves crossover is Fire Emblem Awakening of Galarain Trainers, and it will be a while before that crossover is out, the reason is that it takes place after the story is over, so I have to finish it first.
But here's a small summary of it, that doesn't hopefully spoil too much. Thieves and their Pokemon have stolen a dangerous relic, and the cloak figure sends a team made from the Children of the Shepherds to catch the thieves and retrieve the relic for him before something far worse than a Red Wizard can get its hands on it.
Next, for Juxxipharoo, yes, if I feel like the chapters should be together I'll do them on the same turn. I did that with chapter 9 and 10 or Abyss Riders, and the last two chapters of my Korra story. As for season 5 of Dragon I have to look at the episodes again before I decide which ones to do in pairs.
Lastly, whoever is leaving guest reviews in Spanish, please stop bugging me with your idea for changing the couples in my stories. I have very little interest in changing a couple of the stories, unless I want to change their ending or give them someone since they're single. And about chapter interactions, I try to give the characters as much dialogue and interactions as I feel they can at the moment, and with such large numbers in some of the stories, not everyone is going to be able to talk.
Also the idea to make Kipo's love a mega is extremely late. Adding him now will ruin the story, it would be completely random and he would have no reason to be a mega, and I have no interest in restarting my story for a guy I don't want. So I'm going to stick with Kipo getting together with Wyatt, someone who loves her for all that she is and helps her however he can. And if you complain about them not being all hearts in the eyes when they see each other, remember Kipo isn't a love story, it's a coming of age for our shelter girl Kipo.

Code Word Milkshake and Berries
The Past
A few days ago, Flash and Asuga had been living in a hidden den they made in the grasslands after the attack, isolating themselves from the world in order to keep themselves safe, unaware of what's happened in recent months.
"Flash, I need to go out and get some food. Stay here, stay quiet." Asuga said to Flash, as she got ready to leave. "Don't leave me!" Flash said to Asuga, as he clung to Asuga.
"I wouldn't leave you if we didn't need the food. But don't worry, I'll only be gone a few minutes." Asuga said to Flash, as she got him off her. "I'll be counting." Flash said to Asuga, as he started to count, and she left for a hunt.
Luckily their hidden den was near the ant hill, and once Asuga found an ant that was isolated, she took it out in a flash. Asuga then took all the meat from the ant and headed back to Flash, as quickly as she could.
But when she got back to the hidden den, it was quiet, too quiet. "Flash? Flash? Flash?" Asuga asked, before she felt a sting in her back. This caused Asuga to drop the meat, and reach towards her back. That's when she pulled out a dart. "No…" Asuga said, before she fell to the ground.
The next thing she knew, she woke up with Flash in her hands, and both of them in glass boxes, and looking at them with a smirk was Emilia. And while this terrified them, Emilia enjoyed this.
Days later, Emilia and Greta brought in a mute narwhal, with a black jacket with a white edge at the top and bottom and end of the sleeves, flowers on it, green long and a little messy hair, and around the base of his horn was a small ring of Light Blue and White Light Crystals.
"Let's try Serum Sixty-Seven." Emilia said, as she gave the narwhal a shot. "What do you want?" the narwhal asked Emilia, in Korean with a male voice, as nothing happened to him.
"Ugh. Still just a stupid mute." Emilia said, as she tossed her shot away, making it land in front of Jamack. "Aww, didn't work again. Frustrating, huh?" Jamack said to Emilia, a mocking tune in his voice.
"Shut up, mute." Emilia said to Jamack, as she walked to a chalkboard with equations on it, and slammed her first in the middle of the chalkboard with a X = ? as the biggest letters on the chalkboard.
"I can't figure this out! Song solved for X. What am I missing?" Emilia asked herself. "I think we're missing the barbecue." Greta said to Emilia.
This caused Emilia to let out an exasperated sigh. "Let's go. I need a break, anyway. And remember, Greta, just because it fits in your mouth, doesn't mean it's food." Emilia said to Greta, as they left the lab.
"All right, kid, don't cry." Jamack said to the narwhal. "I'm not crying. I just have a sad face." The narwhal said to Jamack, in Korean. "Don't worry, we're gonna get out of here. Someone's coming for us." Jamack said to the narwhal.
"Come on Jamack, who would risk their lives to save us from that scary woman?" Asuga asked Jamack, as she clung Flash to her chest. "You'd be surprised." Jamack said to Asuga.
Timbercat Village
Meanwhile, as the Timbercats cleaned up of the Mega Crab parts, as the gang talked about the news Puck brought everyone.
"I cannot believe Emilia had the nerve to come here and steal not one, but two friends!" Kipo said to everyone. "What about Boom-Boom?" Wolf asked Kipo.
"Two friends and Boom-Boom." Kipo said to everyone. "And maybe some other mutes as well. We have to get them back, and soon!" Kalena said to Kipo.
"Two friends, Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has. Emilia has the journal. She could create the cure any day, now." Kipo said to everyone.
"We bravely volunteer!" Yumyan said to Kipo, as the Timbercats all raised their axes into the air. "Well, she has a new sonic emitter." Kipo said to Yumyan. "We bravely un-volunteer!" Yumyan said to Kipo, as they lowered their axes.
"All right, time to plan. Dahlia, do you have our schematics?" Kipo asked Dahlia. Dahlia then slammed an ax into the floor, and drew a circle around Kipo.
"As you can clearly see, this is the ocean. Our target, Emilia, is somewhere in here. We're gonna need to fly over it to find them." Kipo said to everyone.
"That's a lot of water to search, are you sure we are going to find it?" Javin asked Kipo. "We have to try. Otherwise Emilia could get too powerful. We have to stop her from making a "cure"." Kipo said to Javin.
"This is gonna be a stealth mission. We need to get the journal before she can create the cure, and rescue our friends." Wolf said to everyone. "And Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has." Kipo said to everyone.
"And if we can't take the journal?" Aqua asked everyone. "Then we destroy it. The data in that journal is too dangerous to leave in her hands. And while saving our friends and the others is important, the journal is priority one." Kalena said to everyone.
"You know, I'd feel a lot safer if you came, considering we're so good at saving each other." Benson said to Troy. "That seems fair." Troy said to Benson, as Dave got between Troy and Bnenson. "Yeah, Troy's cool. He can totally join us." Dave said to everyone.
"Aw, sorry, Dave, but remember the last time you were around a sonic emitter? You were like- Aah! No! Ow!" Kipo said to Dave, as she started to wail, covering her ears and pretending to rip out of some antenna and shove it into her ears.
"She has a point. Not to mention you're not one for stealth on a normal mission." Aqua said to Dave. "Yeah, buddy, it would be pretty hard to be stealthy with you screaming in pain or turning into a baby and crying. You gonna be okay?" Benson asked Dave.
"No, no, it's fine. Me and Mandu, we-" Dave said to Benson, as he pointed to an open spot where Mandu was sitting, but was gone now.
"Have already started playing hide-and-seek. That sneaky pig. I'm gonna have so much fun without you guys." Dave said to Benson, acting like this was something they planned, but you could hear the improvises in his voice. Dave walked away, sniffing and crying.
"So, what exactly are we up against?" Troy asked everyone. "Emilia? Oh, boy! Let me tell ya. It all started when she enslaved my mom with mind control…" Kipo said to Troy, as she started the whole story.
"And after all that, our people still went with her!" Kipo said to Troy, as they were now in the forest trying to get some dragonflies, only to keep scaring them off. "Kipo!" Kalena said to Kipo. "Ugh, sorry. I keep scaring our ride away." Kipo said to everyone.
"I get why you're upset. But, to be fair, our people don't know any of that." Troy said to Kipo. "Guys, shh." Wolf said to everyone, as they moved towards a few more dragonflies.
"You're right, they don't. Because she didn't tell them, because she's a lying liar!" Kipo said to Troy. "Yeah, and I made pancakes, and she didn't even touch 'em." Benson said to Troy.
"Not to mention she raised me to a massie killer." Aqua said to Troy. "And she killed Stalky!" Wolf shouted, scaring the dragonflies away.
"Aw, man, that's the third time we've scared them away." Benson said to everyone. "I know Emilia has done much too us, but we need to focus. We can talk about our disgust towards her later." Kalena said to everyone.
"I can't help it, she makes me so angry! Argh!" Kipo said, yelling, and making the dragonflies fly away. "Look, Kalena right. We're all angry, but we need to calm down if we're going to get the journal and rescue our friends." Wolf said to everyone.
"Yeah, they could be cured any second. We need something to keep us on track, on mission, on stealth! Ooh! Like a code word." Kipo said to everyone, getting excited.
"A code word? Okay. How about "destroy the doctor"?" Wolf asked everyone, as she pulled out a custom made metal hook and with a fishing string.
"It's more of a phrase and not very calming, but we're brainstorming here. We're groovin', we're rollin'." Kipo said to everyone, before she started to think. "Hmm… How about "Mandu"?" Kipo asked everyone.
"Let's not. A code word should be something we won't say in a normal conversation." Kalena said to everyone. "Good point." Kipo said to Kalena, before gasping. "How about "milkshake"?" Kipo asked everyone. "Milkshake?" Wolf asked Kipo, as the dragonflies flew behind them.
"Guys, guys- No one can get mad when they think about a big frosty glass of delicious deliciousness." Kipo whispered to everyone, as they moved towards the dragonflies. "Sure and with some berries you can call it dessert." Kalena said to everyone, sarcasm in her voice.
"Milkshake and berries." Kipo said to one of the dragonflies. This made the Dragonfly let Kipo onto its back. "See?" Kipo asked everyone. "Nice work Kipo, now let's get a few more." Kalena said to Kipo.
Las Vasta Ocean
A few minutes later the gang was in the air, the gang was flying was flying in the air, with Kipo and Wolf on one of them, Benson and Troy on another, and Kalena and Aqua on the last one, and while Kalena's Pokemon where in their Pokeballs, Cloak, Virgo, and Star where flying, with Cloak carrying Groove, and Daven riding Virgo.
While flying around, Kipo gasped, and used her jaguar ears to hear calypso music playing. That's when Kipo led them to a really old cruise ship that was still aloft. "Oh. you think maybe they're on that giant cruise ship?" Benson asked everyone.
"No, I think it's a random ship that just so happens to be playing loud music. Idiot." Kalena said to Benson, sarcasm in her voice for most of it. "You know you, the sarcasm, isn't helping." Benson said to Dave.
"No wonder it was so hard to find her! She's always moving! Very smart. Ugh! I hate complimenting her. "Hopefully our friends-" Kipo said to everyone, but was interrupted by Troy. "And Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has." Troy said to everyone.
"And Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has are still okay. Come on." Kipo said to everyone, before they heard the loudspeaker turn on, and they noticed something was in the water.
"Mute alert. Engaging sonic emitter. Greta, hit the red button. Zane's log, day thirty-eight at sea. The water fills me with dread. No, the red red button." Zane said over the loudspeaker, before calypso music played, making Zane groan.
"Turn on the emitter!" Zane said to Greta over the speaker, sounding very angry, before the speaker let out a high pitched pulse.
This caused Kipo and the Dragonflies to get a headache, and they fell out of the sky, with Cloak, Virgo, and Star going after them.
They all screamed as they crashed into the water next to the cruise. Lucky Wolf used her hook to help everyone climb up to the over the side of the upper deck of the cruise. With their Pokemon floating under them to stay out of sight.
That's when they found all the humans having fun in a pool with a waterslide, and acting like they were on a cruise.
"Look how happy they are! I can't believe it. They're thrilled to eb on this amazingly cool boat." Kipo said to everyone. "Is that a waterslide?!" Benson asked everyone.
"Don't let the stuff blind you, Emilia is using it to not only make people obey her commands, but to tempt them with what they will have once they retake the surface. I know because anything good I would get from her would always be followed by if you want it then take the surface, then me losing that good thing." Aqua said to everyone.
"Oh, that evil temptress knows what she is doing." Benson said to everyone, as they watched the humans have fun. "How dare she make it fun! They'll never come with us." Kipo said to everyone, as they lowered themselves out of sight.
"Milkshake and berries. We're not trying to get them to come with us today." Troy said to everyone. "He's right. Removing the threat of the cure is our first priority. This fools will be another day's problem. So just think of a milkshake and remember why we're here." Kalena said to everyone.
"Right. Double scoops filling the glass… Can't forget the frosty top. Oh, look, there's a cherry. Plop." Kipo said, with her eyes closed. "Okay, I'm good." Kipo said to everyone, as the loudspeaker started to let out a buzz sound.
"What a great day we had, friends. And tomorrow is just a sleep away. Have a dreamful night." Emilia said over the speaker, as the humans started to go inside the ship. "Ugh." Kipo said, as they all raised their heads over the side.
"What does "Dreamful" even mean?" Benson asked everyone. "It's just sweet talk to make her sound like she's nice." Aqua said to everyone. "Her voice is like cold soup down my back." Wolf said to everyone. "Um, guys…" Troy said, making everyone notice Troy losing his grip.
"Could we maybe hide in there till everyone goes to sleep? Uh, my arms are really tired." Troy asked everyone. "What's wrong Troy, you don't want to hang out with us?" Kalena asked Troy, with a silly tune in her voice, as she climbed over the edge and onto the deck.
"Since when did Kalena make jokes like that?" Benson asked everyone, as they climbed over the edge and onto the deck, with the Pokemon following then over the edge.
Timbercat Village
Meanwhile, as the Timbercats Lio and Roberto were doing dishes with Jester helping drying them, when Dave walked into the room. "Roberto! Lio! I just noticed both your names end in fun!" Dave said to them. "What is he talking about?" Roberto asked Lio. "Talking about a boy's night. No Kipo or Kalena, Song's patrolling." Dave said to them.
"No other friends who are definitely not having fun without me." Dave said to himself, earning an odd look from everyone. "What are you two crazy guys up to?" Dave asked them.
"Dishes." Lio said to Dave, as Jester put some dishes away with Psychic. "Dishes! Starting big! I'm ready to do some washin'." Dave said to everyone, as he moved to help.
"Oh, we're done." Roberto said to Dave. "Great, I didn't want to wash dishes anyway. What a lame way to spend boy's night." Dave said to everyone, before scoffing. "Good thing Dave's here. We ready to go?" Dave asked everyone.
"Boy, that sounds real fun but if I stay up any later, my restless leg really starts acting up. Have a good night, fellas!" Roberto said to everyone, before he left, leaving Lio and Jester to deal with Dave.
"So?" Dave asked Lio, wondering if he was up for hanging out. "Sure, Dave, we don't get to spend a lot of time together." Lio said to Dave. "All right, boy's night! Lio and Dave-o. See I put an "o" on mine, too?" Dave said to Lio.
"Jester? Care to join us and become Jester-o?" Dave asked, as he turned to see Jester was long gone. "I guess it's just us." Dave said to Lio.
Emilia's Ship
Back with the gang they were hiding in the ship's cafeteria, as the humans went to sleep. "Do you think everyone's asleep? Kipo asked everyone, as she looked out the window of the doors to the cafeteria. That's when Wolf joined Kipo at the window.
"The coast is clear." Wolf said to Kipo. "Then let's find Emilia's lab." Kipo said to everyone, as they started to leave the cafeteria.
But that's when they noticed someone coming and ran back into the cafeteria, and hid under a table, as the Pokemon hid in the kitchen.
That's when a young woman with bright blue eyes and long blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail. She wears a pink jumpsuit and a light pink shirt underneath with a heart symbol, came bursting into the cafeteria.
The girl then walked in a vent in the back of the room. "Sing to me, Wall Siren." The girl said to the vent. That's when the narwhal started to sing in Korean through the vent.
"Whenever you swim. You make me smile. You let my love breathe." The narwhal sang, as the girl started to dance to the song.
"What is that?" Wolf asked everyone, as she whispered, as the narwhal sang in english for a bit. "It sounds like a narwhal. They're one of the few mutes in the world with the ability to speak in two languages." Aqua said to everyone, as they watched the girl dance gracefully.
"She is incredible!" Benson said to everyone. "That's Doag, Wyatt's big sister. She was our friend in the burrow." Kipo said to everyone. "Do you think she'll help us?" Benson asked Kipo.
"Probably not, after all with her being Wyatt's brother, she's Hoag's daughter as well." Troy said to Benson. "Hoag and Doag? For real?" Benson asked Troy. "I know, that's why Wyatt changed his name." Troy said to Benson.
"Wait? What was his birth name?" Benson asked Troy. "Woag." Troy said to Benson. "Cleaver name." Kalena said, sarcasm in her voice.
"Can we focus people?" Aqua asked everyone. "Right. My dad said Hoag was the first one to go with Emilia. And unlike Wyatt, I can't see Doag going against her dad." Tory said to everyone, as Doag did a split, right in front of everyone, blowing their cover and making everyone gasp.
"Kipo? Troy? Kipo's friends that saved us from the mean monkey dude?" Doag said to everyone. "Hi, Doag." Kipo said to Doag, getting nervous.
Timbercat Village
Meanwhile, as the Timbercats Lio and Dave were playing cards. "I hear the cats and snakes are doing a community bonding thing." Dave said to Lio. "Was it Kipo's idea?" Lio asked Dave. "It was Kipo's idea." Dave said to Lio, before they heard crashing and loud voices.
"Doesn't sound like it's going so well." Lio said to Dave. "Let's go check it out." Dave said to Lio, as he tossed his cards away.
A minute later, they stuck their heads into the hall, and saw everyone was chatting loudly, not fighting, but getting serious about something.
"Cucumber demon!" Yumyan said to Cotton. "Fuzz nugget!" Cotton said to Yumyan. "Ooh, that's a good one. Those can both go in the song." Yumyan said to Cotton, as he wrote that down.
"After the hiss?" Cotton asked Yumyan. "I told you, I think the hiss sounds better closer to the end, but I'm dripping it. I'm dropping it." Yumyan said to Cotton, closing his eyes.
This confused Lio and Dave, as they walked into the hall. "One more time!" Yumyan said to everyone, as he moved to his axe guitar.
"You might think they look like cucumber demons." Yumyan sang a country song tune, as a snake fell to the ground, scaring a couple cats. "But that's just a facade. They're mighty, they're cool. And full of such venom. That'll make ya feel real odd." Yumyan sang, as the cats and snakes moved side to side together.
"Fuzz nuggets! Fuzz nuggets! Fuzz nuggets! Not so bad." Cotton sang, rocking out. "Friendship Alliance! Led by a girl who loves science and her sister's wilderness. Alliance! Science! Wilderness!" Every cat and snake sang, as the largest cat picked up Lio and Dave and put them on his shoulder.
Then Yumyan did a banjo solo and Cotton did an electric guitar solo. "It's the Ultimate Friendship Alliance taking down evil with defiance." Everyone sang, with Lio and Dave a part of the singers.
"Come- See- clients." Dave sang, as he was tossed into the air, and hung from the main light. "Friendship Alliance. Nothing rhymes well with-" everyone sang, before going quiet.
"Singing!" Lio sang. "Alliance!" Everyone sang, as Dave fell down, and everyone stopped singing and chuckled. "Oh, right on! The hiss does sound better there." Cotton said to Yumyan.
A minute later, Lio and Dave walked out of the hall. "Whoo! That was fun! They way those cats played- man it gets me every time! Oh, well, it's getting pretty late." Lio said to Dave.
"Yeah! We need a pick-me-up! I got a secret stash of explosion berry cola. It's still fizzy." Dave said to Lio, as Lio yawned. "Okay, yeah. Sure, Dave, sounds great." Lio said to Dave.
Emilia's Ship
Back with the gang, Kipo was finishing telling Doag about Emilia. "And after all that, you all still went with her. I'm not judging. I'm just saying she's tricky." Kipo said to Doag. "I hear you, and I understand your feelings, but also I don't. Emilia is so nice! And she gave us a water slide." Doag said to Kipo.
"Did you even listen to the part about Emilia abusing me, and treating me poorly?" Aqua asked Doag. "I'm sure you just didn't understand her methods. My dad says that Woag doesn't understand his reasons and thinks he's treating him bad when he's not." Doag said to Aqua.
"Your father always treated Wyatt badly. And Aqua is right, Emilia is not nice. She has been looking for Kipo and Kalena to kill them since they were babies! And she didn't even eat Benson's pancakes!" Troy said to Doag, getting really made about the pancakes, making Benson grab his hands.
"Milkshake and berries." Kalena said to Tory, making Tory exhale. "That story is really infuriating." Troy said to everyone. "Only to you, Mr. Benson's Boyfriend." Kalena said to Troy.
"Wow, you guys are, like, really passionate about this." Doag said to everyone. "We are." Kipo said to Doag. "But Emilia controlling a mega monkey? Like, how, magic?" Doag asked everyone. "We just told you the whole story. Can you only understand something if it's in a song?" Aqua asked Doag, getting annoyed by her.
"No! She used Scarlemagne's pheromone." Wolf said to Doag. "Yeah, but like, who told you this?" Doag asked everyone. "Well, Scarlamagne, but-" Kipo said to Doag, but was interrupted by Doag.
"You mean the super angry monkey who destroyed our home twice and brain-trapped us?" Doag asked everyone. "Yes? Listen, Emilia has my friends." Kipo said to Doag, but was interrupted by Benson. "And Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has." Benson said to Kipo.
"Locked up on this boat. Maybe I can't change your mind about mutes but I can't let her hurt them." Kipo said to Doag. "I've danced my way all over this boat and I can tell you, there are no prisoners here." Doag said to Kipo.
"Where do you think that song is coming from? Ships don't make that noise, and I doubt anyone here sings in another language." Kalean said to Doag. "I just need a moment to think." Doag said to everyone, as she danced herself up onto her feet and did a few more steps.
"Okay, so I've really thought this through." Doag said to everyone, making everyone but Aqua and Kalena gasp in hope. "I'm going to get my dad." Doag said to everyone, making their jaws drop.
And before anyone could say anything, or Doag could leave, Kalena lunged at Doag, forcing her to the floor, and popping out her extra arms pinning Doag to the floor while her upper hands covered Doag's mouth.
"Kalena get off her!" Kipo said to Kalena. "I'm sorry that was a reflex. But she was going to rat us out. Besides, we need information." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Listen carefully you fool!" Kalena said to Doag, lowering her face towards Doag, making Doag nervous and focused.
"My brother became who he was because of Emilia. My mother was lost for 13 years because of Emilia's actions. Emilia abused Aqua, tried to kill my friends. And wanted me and my sister to kill our mother. All she gave you is just a trap, to make you her slaves in her pointless war. And if you want proof that I'm telling you the truth. Then take us to her lab. If no one is there then you're right, and I'll apologize for all this. But when you see our friends there, I expect your apology. Now I'm going to let you go. If you alert anyone or try anything, your days as a dancer are over. Understood?" Kalena asked Doag.
Doag nodded yes. "Good." Kalena said to Doag, as she got up, and turned back to normal. "You really need to take a chill pill. But follow me." Doag said to everyone, as danced away, followed by Kipo dancing away. "I am not doing that." Wolf said, as everyone but Benson walked after Doag. but Benson danced after everyone.
Doag led everyone to a door that said no trespassing. "Uh, it's here? That's it?" Kipo asked Doag. "Not very hidden." Wolf said to Doag.
"I told you she's got nothing to hide." Doag said to everyone, as she tried to open the door, only for it to be locked, much to Doag surprise. Doag tired to open it, think it was just stuff, but after a bit of force did she give up and finally understood it was locked.
"Then why is it locked?" Wolf asked Doag. "I got this." Troy said to everyone. "Wait." Aqua said to Troy, stopping him. Aqua then reached for the top of the door, and pulled out a key.
"Greta keeps losing her keys so Emilia makes her leave the key somewhere around the door." Aqua said to everyone, as she unlocked the door, and opened it. "Nice work Aqua." Kalena said to Aqua, patting her on the back, making Aqua blush a little. Then everyone went inside and down the stairs.
Half way down the stars, Kipo noticed the mutes. "Our friends!" Kipo said to everyone, as she ran down the stairs. "And Boom-Boom, and any other mute she has." Wolf said to Kipo, as everyone else ran down the stairs.
"Huh! Burrow girl." Jamack said, as Kipo put her hands on Jamack's box. "You really came. The frog's been talkin' about it non-stop" Camille to Kipo, making Jamack nervously chuckle.
"No prancing way! She really does have prisoners." Doag said to everyone. "Told you." Aqua said to Doag. "But, like, maybe they did something really bad first?" Doag asked everyone.
"What did we do to humans to deserve our kind extinction?" A female voice asked Doag. This made everyone turn to see Asuga and Flash in the back. "It can't be Cheetah Boxers!" Aqua said, as they all rushed to their box.
"Listen to me girl." Asuga said to Doag. "My people tried to keep the peace, and we only attacked humans when you attacked us. And what crimes could he have done? He's a young one, who didn't know how to hunt, and yet he had to survive the death of many of our people, and is now being poked and prodded by that heartless woman and her needles." Asuga said to Doag, pointing to the terrified Flash behind her, making doubt form in Dog's mind.
That's when Boom-Boom started to freak out. "Is she okay?" Kalena asked Jamack. "Boom-Boom's been through a lot. Poked, prodded, Greta." Jamack said to Kalena, making Aqua and Camille shudder.
"Greta talks to us so much." Carmille said to everyone. "Yeah, Greta can be a chatterbox, I remember when she was my teacher for the day, she would just talk, and I would read a book, trying to keep my brain cells intact." Aqua said to everyone.
Then Doag gasped, getting everyone's attention. "What is it?" Kalena asked Doag, ready for a fight. "A dolphicorn!" Doag said, as she leaned onto the tank with the narwhal in it. "That's a narwhal, not a dolphicorn." Aqua said to Doag, annoyance in her voice.
"Who are you?" Doag asked the narwhal. "Hyun-soo." the narwhal sang. "It's the Wall Siren. Your angelic voice finds me every night. I dance to your music." Doag said to Hyun-soo.
"You rescue me." Hyun-soo sang, as Doag danced to him. "It isn't right! She can't just lock people up like this." Kipo said to everyone. "She thinks it's right. All of this is necessary for humanity to reclaim the surface. Who cares if we have to do horrible things to get there." Aqua said to Kipo.
"Well that stops now!" Kipo said, as she summoned her claws. Kipo then jumped up and ripped open the boxes. And while Boom-Boom, Carmille, and Jamack got out by themselves, Kipo helped Hyun-soo out of his tank. Doag and Benson then help carry Hyun-soo.
"You're right, I don't' have to dance-think a second longer. Anyone that would cage up a musical dolphin unicorn-." Doag said to Kipo, but was interrupted by Aqua. "Narwhal." Aqua said to Doag.
"Can't be a good person. I'm gonna help you get them out of here. Just please don't tell my dad." Doag said to Kipo, finishing her conversation. "Aw, we changed someone's mind! Bonus!" Kipo said, hugging Doag, stilling having her paws out.
That's when Wolf went to the desk with the journal on it and a box of needles leaning against it. Wolf then took the journal, making the needles fall on the desk. "Great! Now, let's get out of here. We have everyone and everything we came for." Benson said to everyone.
"But where can we go? We're trapped in the ocean and anyplace we run to, she will find us." Flash said to everyone, making everyone turn to him and Asuga, with Flash hiding behind Asuga.
That's when Aqua walked up to them, and kneeled down to Flash. "Do you remember me?" Aqua asked Flash, making Flash and Asuga take a close look at Aqua, before realizing she was the one that let them escape.
"You're that lady that let us go." Flash said to Aqua. "Yes, my name is Aqua. What's yours?" Aqua asked Flash. "I'm Flash and this is Asuga." Flash said to everyone, surprising everyone.
"Flash? Asuga? By any chance do you know a male Cheetah Boxer named Javin?" Kalena asked them, surprising them. "How do you know that name?" Asuga asked Kalena. "He's a friend. Sort of. But he's back at our place, alive." Kipo said to Asuga, making her and Flash gasp and cover their mouths.
"You're serious?" Asuga asked everyone. "Yes, he's alive and safe, and I know that he wants to see you two again. He keeps talking about the two of you. And while we can't promise complete safety from Emilia, we can promise that you'll all be together again." Aqua said to them.
"Then let's get going. The sooner we're off this floating nightmare, the sooner we can see Javin again!" Flash said to everyone.
"That's the spirit. Now let's get going." Aqua said to everyone, before she noticed Boom-Boom's nectar bombs hanging on the desk. "Boom-Boom don't forget your nectar bombs, don't want to leave that for Emilia." Aqua said to Boom-Boom, as she pointed to the desk.
Boom-Boom said nothing and flew to the desk and took her nectar bombs. But that's when she noticed the needles and started to freak out again, this time with a nectar bomb at the ready.
"Run!" Kipo yelled, as everyone started to run out of the lab, with Kipo dragging Wolf. But as they ran Wolf dropped the journal.
Then as everyone exited the lab, Boom-Boom dropped the nectar bomb. On the deck, everyone got down as the lab blew up. "Well, so much for stealth." Kipo said to everyone, as the alarms rang, and Boom-Boom flew away. "But not surprising given that it's us." Kalena said to everyone, as the lab blew up again.
"The journal!" Wolf said to everyone. "Forget about it. It's probably ash after that explosion. It'll be worthless to Emilia now." Aqua said to everyone.
Timbercat Village
Meanwhile, as the Timbercats Lio and Dave were in a state of adrenaline and tiredness thanks to the sodas, making them kinda crazy.
"I'm so tired, I'm awake! I haven't stayed up this late in years. I'm gonna kick that leaf." Lio said, as he tried to kick a leaf at the end of a branch, but kept missing. "Man, you are so much fun! Why haven't we been hanging out like this the whole time?" Dave asked Lio, as Lio kicked the leaf.
"Yah! Okay, I got the leaf. What's next? What-do-we-do? What-do-we-do next?" Lio asked. "I say we steal Molly's axes and hide 'em in a bush. And then she'll be like, "Where are my axes? What's with the ax-bush?" and then we'll all laugh." Yumyan said to everyone, as he came out of a bush next to everyone, and laughed.
"That's the best idea I've ever heard." Lio said to everyone. "I'm laughing already, thinking about laughing tomorrow." Dave said to Lio. "Okay, shh. We have to be stealthy." Lio said to everyone, as they started to move, shushing each other while laughing at the same time.
Emilia's Ship
Back with the gang, the humans on the ship started to wake up from the alarm. "We need to get out of here. It's only a matter of time before Emilia shows up." Aqua said to everyone.
"Somebody help me push my new friend into a mini boat." Doag said to everyone, as they turned to see her trying to push Hyun-soo into a lifeboat. "Just push me into the water." Hyun-soo said to Doag, in Korean. "Shh, it's okay. I'll take care of you." Doag said to Hyun-soo, clearly not understanding what
"Doag, he's a sea animal, he needs water. Cloak, help Hyun-soo into the water." Aqua said to Doag and Cloak. "Nihilego." Cloak said, as she grabbed Hyun-soo from Doag, and flew down to the water, letting him go. "Thank you." Hyun-soo said to Cloak, in Korean, feeling better to be back in the sea. Cloak nodded and flew up.
And up top, Aqua helped Flash and Asuga into the lifeboat, as Jamack, Camille and Doag got into it as well. But before the rest of the gang could get in, they noticed Kipo was standing still.
"Kipo, come on!" Benson said to Kipo. But Kipo just looked at all the sacred and very tired mutes. "She can't get away with this!" Kipo said to everyone. "We finished the mission. Let's go." Wolf said to Kipo. "No." Kipo said to everyone.
"Dude, milkshake and berries!" Benson said to Kipo. "I don't care about going off-mission. There is no milkshake frosty enough to cool my rage or berry sweet enough to calm my anger." Kipo said to everyone, as she summoned her paws with her claws out.
"Kipo, I know you're upset by all of this. But attacking now will only make you look like the bad guy. A head on attack with Emilia will only cause problems for us all. We need to be smart, and protect our people, not start a war." Kalena said to Kipo.
Kipo looked at everyone, before jumping over the gang and to the edge of the ship. "Doag, get them out of here." Kipo said to Doag, as she cut the lifeboat lines, making them fall into the ocean below.
Then the loudspeaker turned on. "Emitter engaging." Zane said over the speaker, as it let out a sonic pulse. This agitated Kipo, making her jump up and smash the speaker.
And once Kipo came down onto the deck, that's when Emilia, Zane, and Greta showed up. And they all gasped when they saw what Kipo did to the speaker. Then Emilia noticed the mutes getting away, making her mad.
Zane and Greta yelled a war cry, and charged at them. But that's when Kalena turned into her Ultra Form, and she and Virgo fired a burst of purple energy with a dragon head at them.
This made Zane and Greta stop with a shocked look on their face, as the dragon heads bit down on them making a large explosion that knocked them out. This made Emilia gasp, before giving everyone a mean look. "We're done here." Kalena said to everyone, as she tried to force Kipo to a lifeboat.
But that's when all of the humans showed up and surrounded everyone. This made Emilia smirk, knowing she had the upper hand now. "Kipo, why are you attacking us?" Emilia asked Kipo, acting like the victim.
"Don't act like you're the victim here. You know why we're here." Kalena said to Emilia. "Yeah, you kidnapped my friends!" Kipo said to Emilia. "What friends?" Emilia asked them. "I mean, they were here, but they're gone now." Kipo said to Emilia, as the speaker fell down behind her.
That's when Hoag noticed Doag was missing. "Where's Doag? What have you adolescent vandals done with my sweet princess?" Hoag asked everyone. "Last time we saw her, she was dancing out of the cafeteria, she's probably just below deck." Aqua said to Hoag.
"Look, I know how this must look, but I need you to listen to me. Emilia is not who she says she is." Kipo said to everyone, as she put her paws away, and Kalena turned back to normal.
"Yeah! She's evil!" Wolf said to everyone. "And a manipulator. She's tricking you all into thinking that she's a hero, when in fact all the problems you had are from her actions." Aqua said to everyone.
"Yeah, she sent the mega monkey to destroy our home." Troy said to everyone. "And the monkey also happens to be Kipo and Kalena's mom! She was mind controlled her to find and kill her own daughter. How messed up is that?" Benson asked, making everyone gasp.
"Lily? Earl? You believe me, don't you?" Kipo asked a male and female human. This caused Earl to put a hand on Lily's shoulder, and Lily raised a hand to his. "I'm sorry, Kipo, but this sounds crazy." Earl said to Kipo.
"Uh, Mr. Filburn, you know me. I- I wouldn't lie to you." Kipo said to another human male. "The Kipo I knew wouldn't. What did they do to you?" Mr. Filburn asked Kipo, making Kipo frown.
"Hmm. I think you're all confused. You've spent too much time with mutes. They've manipulated you. Why don't you stay with us? We can help you. We can fix whatever they did to your minds." Emilia said to the gang, as Hoag subtly moved to ambush the gang with a needle.
"Sorry if we don't believe you, but after you tortured our brother, enslaved our mother, and hurt our friends, we doubt you have any good intentions planned for us. Chances are you say we died while you tried to fix us and make it sound like you tired everything when in fact you didn't. Plus you say that the mutes manipulated us. What a joke. And after spending most of my life growing up with creatures of the wild, I learned that out of all the races in the world, humans like you are the real manipulators of the world, and I also know that humans like you are also backstabbers!" Kalena said to Emilia, as Hoag tried to stab Kipo, but was stopped when Kalena kicked him in the gut, forcing him back to the edge of the ship and making him groan in pain.
This made the crowd gasp in horror, before a few to catch them. But that's when Kalena summoned her tail and shot purple energy spike scales from it at everyone's feet, making them freeze, and opening a line in the crowd.
"We're leaving, and you can't stop us, for we have the powers of nature on our side. A power that humans have always had trouble standing against. So stay here isolated from the world and listening to the propaganda of a hater if you want. We have no interest in fighting. So if you leave us alone, we'll leave you alone." Kalena said to everyone.
"Kipo care to get us out of here?" Kalena asked Kipo. "Right. Let's go, everyone." Kipo said to the gang, as they all ran through the line Kalena made, and Kipo turned into her Mega form.
Everyone landed on Kipo, as Kipo landed in the water. Kipo then started to swim for shore, keeping her head and everyone above water.
Back on the ship, Emilia rushed to the edge, and looked down to see them getting away, and angered by the fact they got away again.
Timbercat Village
Meanwhile, as the Timbercats Lio and Dave were at the top of the trees, and looking at the stars. "Sometimes my immortality is a curse. But tonight, it really came in handy." Dave said to Lio. "Yeah, Molly was mad." Lio said to Dave, before they both started to laugh. "Right, she killed me, like, five times." Dave said to Lio.
Then Lio sighed. "Dave, I really needed this. You knew I'd be up all night worrying about Kipo and Kalena. You're a good friend." Lio said to Dave. 'uh… Oh, yes, yes, that's exactly what I was doing." Dave said to Lio, lying about how he was just lonely.
"Hey. You think you can hit the litter box down there with one of my arms?" Dave asked Lio, after pulling off one of his arms. "Oh, definitely." Lio said to Dave, before laughing and taking the arm. "You only get four chances." Dave to Lio, as Lio got ready to throw the arm.
Las Vasta Ocean
With the gang, they were at the shoreline with a dock, all in their normal forms. But Doag decided to go back, and Hyun-soo was going to help her with that, with three more narwhals joining them.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Kipo asked Doag. "I have to get back to the boat. I can't just leave my dad." Doag said to Kipo. "We kinda made a mess back there. I'm sorry." Kipo said to Doag. "Yeah, sorry about kicking your dad." Kalena said to Doag.
"I understand. And luckily for you, you totally have a friend on the inside, now. I will be the voice for the unicorns of the sea, and for all other majestic creatures that I haven't gotten to dance with yet." Doag said to Kipo and Kalena.
"Thank you for everything, Doag." Kipo said to Doag. "Just tell Woag, I mean Wyatt that his sister is sorry and misses him." Doag said to Kipo. "Will do." Kipo said to Doag, as they saluted each other goodbye.
"One more for the road?" Doag asked Hyun-soo. That's when Hyun-soo and the Narhartz started to move, pulling the boat while singing, and Doag dancing on the boat.
"I'm sorry we couldn't convince the people to come with us, but hey, we did it." Benson said to Kipo. "Yeah, we destroyed the journal so she can't "cure" anybody." Wolf said to Kipo.
"Plus, thanks to Boom-Boom, any work she had is trashed." Aqua said to everyone. "And rescued these four." Wolf said to Kipo, as she pointed to Jamack, Camille, Flash, and Asuga.
That was punk rock back there, Kipo, Kalena. for a hot minute, I thought I'd never play guitar again." Camille said to Kipo and Kalena, making Kipo chuckle. "Couldn't let that happen." Kipo said to Camille. "She called me "punk rock". Kipo said to everyone.
"I knew you'd two come for me!" Jamack said to Kipo and Kalena, putting his arms over their shoulders. "Couldn't leave you hanging. Besides, we owed you a save or two." Kalena said to Jamack, before they all turned to Flash and Asuga.
"You two ready to see Javin again?" Aqua asked them. "Honestly, no. But we've missed Javin for so long that we can't wait, now that we know he's alive." Asuga said to Aqua, as they all started to walk towards the Timbercat Village.
Emilia's Ship
Back on the boat, Emilia was looking at the trashed speaker with a very angry face, as Zane and Greta walked up to her, with Greta holding the burned journal.
"Dr. Emilia, everything in the lab is ashes." Zane said to Emilia. "How are we gonna science away those mutes if this is all that's left of your science book?" Greta asked Emilia, showing Emilia the journal.
In anger, Emilia took the book. But that's when she noticed the burn in it made it so it looked like K + K = X. "Now we'll never know what X means." Greta said to Emilia, as Emilia came to a realization and gasped.
"Wait. Kipo and Kalena are X. Kipo biology, and Kalena's energy." Emilia said to everyone, as she moved to the speaker and took out some of Kipo fur that was caught in it when she smashed it, and then pulled out one of the spikes scales Kalena shot from her tail.
"I know what to do." Emilia said to everyone, as she looked at the fur and scale, and laughed wickedly.
Timbercat Village
A few hours later, the gang made it back to the Timbercat village, and was met by Lio and Dave. "Welcome back." Lio said to everyone, as he and Dave ran up and he hugged Kipo and Kalena.
"How did it go?" Dave asked everyone, as Troy ran past everyone and into the village. "Well we didn't get the book, but we did save everyone, and the book was destroyed." Kipo said to Lio. "And we found a couple people Javin would be happy to meet." Kalena said to Lio, as she turned to Asuga and Flash.
Lio turned to them and was surprised to see them. "Cheetah Boxers. I knew a couple were out there in hiding. But I never thought I would see one so soon." Lio said to everyone, getting closer to them, making Flash hide behind Asuga.
"Hello. I'm Asuga and this is Flash. Do you know where Javin is?" Asuga asked Lio. "Impossible!" A male voice said, with a shock tune in his voice.
That's when the wind blew gently, and moonlight signed down on them. That's when Asuga and Flash turned to see Javin standing nearby with Troy next to him, and all three of them had a shocked look on their faces.
Javin said nothing, but slowly started to take steps towards Asuga and Flash, still unable to believe what he was seeing. But for Asuga, she immediately started to run towards him, each step followed by a heavy breath.
Then the two of them met, and they wrapped their arms around each other before they did a spin. When they stopped spinning, they closed their eyes and felt each other's heart beat, knowing that this was real. This caused them both to let out a sigh of relief.
Then they loosen their grip on each other, and Asuga placed a hand on the stump that was his left arm. "I lost it the day I lost you and Flash." Javin said to Asuga.
Asuga then gave Javin a smile, and placed her hand on his cheek, making Javin let out a sigh and relax.
"But you're still here. And that's all that matters." Asuga said to Javin, making Javin cry. "I've missed you so much. There was so much I want to tell you." Javin said to Asuga, as Asuga rube his tears away.
"I'm not going anywhere. You have all the time to tell me what you need to say." Asuga said to Javin. Javin then had a serious look on his face. "No, after everything we've been through. I'm not going to wait another second." Javin said to Asuga, before kissing her, surprising Asuga, but she slowly accepted the kiss and kissed him back.
Everyone watched them with a smile on their face, as Flash moved to them. Flash then pulled a little on Javin's leg, making them break their kiss and look at Flash. "No love for me. I miss you too." Flash said to Javin.
Javin then let go of Asuga and scooped up Flash, with a big smile on his face. "Sorry brother. I did miss you too. In fact I have something of you." Javin said to Flash, as he passed Flash to Asuga, and pulled out Little Javin. "Little J!" Flash said excitement in his voice, as he took his doll back and hugged it close.
"I found that after what happened. I was so sure that you were all gone after finding that in a crater." Javin said to Flash. "Luckily for us we took off our light crystals in order to clean up Flash a little." Asuga said to Javin. "And we're lucky that nice lady found us and let us escape." Flash said to Javin, as she pointed to Aqua.
Javin said nothing as he walked to Aqua, with a serious look on his face. "Aqua. I can never forgive you for what you've done to us. But you have my thanks for saving my brother and love." Javin said to Aqua, giving her a small smile and holding out his hand.
"I don't want you to forgive me for what happened. I don't deserve it. And I don't deserve your thanks. It's my fault that this all happened. But you're welcome. I just wished I've done more to make up for my mistake. But this is a start." Aqua said to Javin, as she took his hand and shook it.
