This story is my take on the Pokemon anime, it'll have some dark moments but is mostly lighthearted and fun, some characters from the Adventures manga, games and characters that appear later in the Pokemon anime make an appearance I hope you all enjoy.

Chapter 101: Brock and Prof. Ivy

Hello everyone, the first part of the chapter will focus on Red meeting with the other champions while the second part of this chapter will focus on Brock and Prof. Ivy. Also, Ash along with the rest of the gang aren't going to appear in this chapter. Now with that out of the way let's begin.

The chapter begins where the last chapter left off with Red and Looker in the meeting room with Goodshow, Blue, Rose, Lorelai, Bruno, Agatha, the champions from other regions and Kukui. They all look at the 2 men as Blue speaks.

"So, Red what's so important that you wanted not only us but also the other champions from the other regions to be here?" Blue asks as Red speaks.

"It's about who Looker and I encountered on Shamouti Island yesterday" Red responds as Blue speaks.

"Who you encountered? Is that person really so important that you asked all of us to be here?" Blue asks with Red nodding as he speaks.

"Yes, he's very important" Red responds as Goodshow speaks.

"So, who is it?" Goodshow asks as Red speaks.

"Yesterday after I defeated Greevil, and you guys aren't going to believe this, but Giovanni appeared" Red says surprising everyone there as Blue speaks.

"Giovanni?! But that's impossible he's dead!" Blue exclaims as Lance speaks.

"Yes, I remember seeing his corpse with my own eyes there's no way that he's alive" Lance says with the others agreeing with him as Red speaks.

"Yes, you're right this world's Giovanni is dead but the Giovanni that we saw yesterday is from a different world" Red says as Cynthia speaks.

"A different world?" Cynthia says as Looker speaks.

"Yes, he mentioned that he was from a world that was similar to ours" Looker says as Kukui speaks.

"If he's truly from another world then it would make sense as to why he's alive" Kukui says as Steven speaks.

"But still hearing that is surprising" Steven says as Rose speaks.

"I was also surprised when Red told me too" Rose says with the others nodding as Looker speaks.

"That's not all" Looker says making the others curious as Alder speaks.

"There's more?" Alder asks with Looker nodding as he looks at Red who speaks.

"Not only is this Giovanni from another world but he also has his own Mewtwo" Red says surprising everyone there as Blue speaks.

"He has a Mewtwo too?!" Blue asks with Red nodding as he continues.

"Also, his Mewtwo like my Charizard can transform but it's nothing like Bond Phenomenon he called it Shadow Mewtwo, and its power was far stronger than the Mewtwo of our world." Red says surprising everyone there as Leon speaks.

"But even though it's stronger than the Mewtwo of our world you can still beat it right?" Leon asks as Platinum speaks.

"Yeah Master no one's stronger than you" Platinum says as Red speaks.

"You guys know how confident I am in my strength but I'm going to be honest if I ever faced that man and his Mewtwo in a battle I'm not sure if I could win." Red responds while having a nervous look on his face surprising everyone as Geeta speaks.

"I'm surprised to hear you say that" Geeta says with the others nodding as Blue speaks.

"Are you really chickening out right now Red?" Blue says making everyone look at him as he continues.

"Look here everyone the world's supposed "strongest trainer" is scared can you believe it" Blue says as Rose speaks.

"Blue" Rose says while we see Platinum having an angry look on her face as Blue speaks.

"What? I'm not saying anything wrong if Red thinks he can't do it then he has no right to call himself the "world's strongest trainer" and should just hand it to me instead because I don't care how powerful/terrifying this other Giovanni and Mewtwo are I'm going to defeat them!" Blue says as he then looks over at Red and continues to speak.

"Besides we've been in a lot of very dangerous and terrifying situations before and overcame them. I'm sure that we can do the same with this too." Blue says while looking at Red making the man smile as he speaks.

"Yeah, you're right Blue sorry for acting so pathetic" Red says as Blue speaks.

"No problem it's my job as your rival to make sure that you're at the top of your game" Blue says with Red nodding as Agatha speaks.

"With that out of the way what should we do about this other world Giovanni?" Agatha asks as Bruno speaks.

"Should we announce this to the world?" Bruno asks as Goodshow speaks.

"No that would cause a worldwide panic" Goodshow says with everyone agreeing as Red speaks.

"Goodshow's right so my solution right now is I'm hoping you guys can help me find him. I know that you all have busy schedules but even if you make a little time, I'll greatly appreciate it." Red says while he along with Looker do a bow. The others look at each other for a few seconds then smile and look at Red as Geeta speaks.

"Of course, we'll help" Geeta says as Leon speaks.

"You've helped us over the years so it's time we help you too" Leon says as Platinum speaks.

"Of course you can count on me your number 1 student Master!" Platinum says happily as Cynthia speaks.

"I'll help too" Cynthia says with Goodshow, Kukui, Steven, Wallace, Diantha, Alder, Mustard, Lorelai, Bruno, and Agatha saying the same thing as Lance speaks.

"We're still looking for members of Team Rocket in the Johto region but my G-men along with myself will do our best to help" Lance says as Rose speaks.

"You can count me in as well" Rose says as Blue speaks.

"Obviously I'm going to do it to, and I'll be the first one to find and defeat him." Blue says while having a confident smile on his face making Looker along with Red happy as Red speaks.

"Thanks guys" Red says while having a smile on his face as Goodshow speaks.

"So, how should we go about finding Giovanni and his Mewtwo?" Goodshow asks as Looker speaks.

"Seeing as he took Lawrence's ship if he hasn't fixed it by now, we have reason to believe that he's hiding somewhere very remote" Looker says with everyone nodding as they all then begin to discuss were they'll be searching and when they do that Goodshow speaks.

"Seems like we all have our own destinations I wish everyone luck in finding this man" Goodshow says as Red speaks.

"Also, if you do find him make sure to contact myself or someone else because I get the feeling that he isn't someone neither of us should battle by ourselves" Red says with everyone nodding as Goodshow speaks.

"And with that the meeting is now over" Goodshow says as we see the screen monitors turn black, and we see the others leave the room. Once they do we head inside Red's mind as he begins to think.

"Giovanni I'll find and stop you no matter what" Red says to himself as he keeps walking, we come over to Giovanni and his Mewtwo. They both have smiles on their faces and are currently remodeling the ship. They continue to do that as we now skip over to the next day. 1 day later we come over to Valencia Island and head over to Prof. Ivy's lab.

During Brock's time here he's been learning a lot from Prof. Ivy when it comes to Pokémon natures, their habits, and learning more about how some Pokémon evolve. Brock also taught Prof. Ivy along with her assistants how to cook/clean. Brock's Pokémon have also been enjoying their time on the island too and help out with taking care of the Pokémon that live there. Brock also makes sure that they get some good training in as well. Speaking of Brock every day that he has spent time with Prof. Ivy, his love for her grows more and more. We now come to present time and see Brock doing some checkups on a couple of Vileplume's. Once Brock's done, he looks at the 2 mons and speaks.

"Checkup complete you're both healthy" Brock says with the 2-mons nodding as he then hears a voice.

"Brock!" The voice says causing Brock to turn around as he sees Prof. Ivy. The woman's waving at him as she speaks.

"It's time for lunch!" Ivy says making Brock smile as he speaks.

"I'll be right there!" Brock says as he begins running over to her and when he makes it, they then begin heading to the lab. A couple minutes later once they're inside we see Brock along with his Pokémon next to him as they look at the table and see a big spread of food. Brock along with his Pokémon have surprised looks on their faces as he looks over at Ivy and her assistants then speaks.

"Did you guys make all of this?" Brock asks with the 4 of them nodding as Ivy speaks.

"After learning how to cook and clean along with helping us take care of the Pokémon we wanted to return the favor, and this is our way of saying thank you." Ivy says with her 3 assistants nodding making Brock along with his Pokémon happy as Brock speaks.

"Whoa thank you!" Brock says as Ivy speaks.

"Now let's dig in!" Ivy says with everyone nodding as they begin to happily eat. As they're eating Brock's surprised by how good the food is and tells Ivy along with her assistants that they did a great job which makes the 4 of them happy. Then when they're done eating, they go back to what they were doing before. We now see Brock along with his Pokémon near a cliff that showcases the ocean as Brock speaks.

"That food was amazing don't you guys agree?" Brock asks with his Pokémon nodding as Brock continues to speak.

"And now after eating something that good I've made my decision" Brock says while looking at a table as he speaks.

"Today's the day that I'm going to tell Prof. Ivy that I love her and that I want to stay here permanently" Brock says with his Pokémon nodding as Brock speaks.

"Now let's get everything ready" Brock says with his Pokémon nodding as they begin to prepare. After that a few hours passed and it's currently nighttime. Ivy's assistants are currently sleeping, and Brock has asked Ivy to come with him as he wants to show her something. As they're walking Ivy speaks.

"Brock where are we going?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"Don't worry we're almost there" Brock says with the woman nodding as a couple seconds later they walk through a few trees and reach the cliff that Brock along with his Pokémon were at earlier. Once they reach it Ivy looks at the stars in the sky and sees the ocean below. Ivy has a smile on her face as she speaks.

"It's been a while since I've seen the stars, and this is a great view of the ocean." Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"That's not all as there's more" Brock says making Ivy confused as she sees Brock pointing at a table for two which has candles on it. Ivy has a surprised look on her face as Brock speaks.

"Come let's go sit down" Brock says (He's now wearing a suit) as he takes the woman's hand, and they begin walking to the table. When they reach it, Brock pulls out the chair for Ivy allowing for her to sit in it and after that Brock sits in the chair on the other side of the table. Ivy still has a confused look on her face as Brock speaks.

"Now then it's time for some drinks" Brock says as he snaps his fingers and when he does Kangaskhan appears and puts two glasses on the table. When she does the baby Kangaskhan appears and pours some juice in each glass. After that Brock tells the 2 mons thank you as they go away and when they go Brock speaks.

"And now let's have some food" Brock says as suddenly Klawf appears and places down two plates that have food on them. When he does Ivy looks at the food and speaks.

"Wow Brock this looks great and what's the occasion?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"Similar to how you guys made lunch for my Pokémon and me I wanted to make a special dinner for you and I." Brock responds with Ivy nodding as Brock continues to speak.

"Now let's dig in" Brock says with Ivy nodding as they then begin to eat. As they're eating Ivy's amazed by how good the food is as she speaks.

"As always Brock the food you cook is simply amazing" Ivy says making Brock happy as he speaks.

"Thank you and Lycanroc along with Vulpix and Sandslash helped me look for some berries/spices to make the food taste even better. Also, Naclstack added some salt to it." Brock says with Ivy nodding as they continue to eat. When they finished eating the meal they also had some dessert which was made by Arctozolt. Once they're done eating Ivy has a satisfied look on her face and speaks.

"That was an amazing dinner Brock thank you" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he speaks.

"You're welcome and there's more" Brock says as he snaps his fingers again and when he does Onix along with Croagunk, Onix, Golbat, and Bastiodon begin playing some music. As they're doing that Ivy looks at them and is amazed by how good they are. Suddenly Brock walks over to Ivy and when he gets close enough, he gets down on one knee, looks at her and speaks.

"Prof. Ivy ever since I saw you, I knew that you were the one for me and that became even more clear while working with you on this island." Brock says making Ivy look at him as she speaks.

"Brock what are you saying?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"What I'm saying is…." Brock says as he begins to blush and gets nervous. Brock then steels himself as he looks at Ivy and speaks.

"What I'm saying is Prof. Ivy I love you and I wish to live with you on this island permanently" Brock says while looking at the woman. Ivy has a surprised look on her face as she takes another look around then looks at Brock and speaks.

"Wait Brock was this a date?" Prof. Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"Yes, it is I'm sorry that I didn't tell you out right, but I felt as though this would help me showcase my feelings for you and my Pokémon helped me" Brock responds with his Pokémon nodding. Ivy nods as well as Brock speaks.

"So, Prof. Ivy what do you say will you let me be your boyfriend/future husband?" Brock asks while having a hopeful look in his eyes. Ivy looks at Brock, takes a deep breath and speaks.

"Brock, I hate to say this after you put in so much effort but I'm going to say no" Ivy says surprising Brock as he speaks.

"But why?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.

"Well, you see for one I'm much older than you Brock so it wouldn't look right also I don't have those kinds of feelings for you" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"But that's fine because I'm going to be 18 in a couple more years (Note Brock had his 16th birthday while staying here) so you can just wait until and maybe then your opinion will change." Brock says as Ivy speaks.

"I can't do that either Brock as you're still a young man with a promising future ahead of you and it wouldn't be right of me to take that away from you" Ivy responds as Brock speaks.

"But you're not taking it away from me as it's my choice" Brock says as Ivy speaks.

"I know it's your choice Brock, but I still feel as though I'm just taking advantage of you, and I don't want that feeling." Ivy says with Brock nodding as Ivy continues to speak.

"This dinner was great Brock but like I said before I'm not interested in you that way, I hope you understand" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he gets a sad look on his face and speaks.

"Yeah, I understand…." Brock says as he stands back up looks at Ivy and speaks.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time I'm going to head to bed goodnight" Brock says and before Ivy could stop him Brock begins to run away with his Pokémon going after him. A few minutes later we see Brock in his room sitting on top of his bed as he speaks.

"How could I have been so stupid?" Brock says to himself as he continues to sit in a fetal position with a couple tears coming out of eyes. Meanwhile, on the other side of the door we see Brock's Pokémon having sad looks on their faces as we also see Ivy having a sad look on her face too. After that it's now the next day and we see Brock packing his things. He continues to pack until he walks out of his room door. Once he does that, he looks at his Pokémon and speaks.

"Come on let's go" Brock says while having a sad look on his face with the mons nodding as they begin to follow him. As they continue to follow him, they then hear a voice.

"Brock" The voice says causing Brock along with his Pokémon to look as they see Prof. Ivy. Brock has a surprised look on his face as Ivy speaks.

"Brock about what you said to me last night I'm sorry" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"Oh, it's fine it was dumb of me ask you to marry me anyway" Brock responds as Ivy then sees Brock wearing his backpack and speaks.

"Brock, were you planning on sneaking out?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"Yes, I know this is immature of me to do but I've learned all that I can from here and so it's time for me to leave. Thank you for taking care of my Pokémon and me." Brock responds and as he's about to walk away Ivy speaks.

"Hold on Brock before you leave will you do something for me?" Ivy asks making Brock look at her as he speaks.

"What is it?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.

"Let's have a battle" Ivy says making Brock confused as he speaks.

"A battle?" Brock asks with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"Yes, a battle. During your time staying with us I noticed that you were training your Pokémon on your off time, and I want to see just how much you've grown." Ivy responds with Brock nodding as Ivy continues.

"So, what do you say?" Ivy asks as Brock thinks for a little bit then speaks.

"Sure, I'll battle you" Brock says making Ivy happy as she speaks.

"That's great let's head over to the beach" Ivy says with Brock nodding as they along with Brock's Pokémon head to the beach. A couple minutes later they've made it to the beach, Brock (has his Pokémon behind him) and Prof. Ivy are on their sides of the battlefield and are looking at each other with one of Ivy's assistants (Charity) taking the referee position. Brock and Ivy continue to look at each other as Brock speaks.

"What are the rules?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.

"This is a 6v6 full single battle we're both allowed to make substitutions and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner" Ivy responds with Brock nodding as Charity begins to speak.

"This is a 6v6 full battle between Prof. Ivy and Brock! Both trainers are allowed to make substitutions and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner" Charity says with both trainers nodding as Charity speaks.

"Now will both trainers please send out your first Pokémon!" Charity says as Ivy pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Clodsire come out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Clodsire. When the mon appears, it has a smile on its face as Brock speaks.

"So Clodsire's first" Brock says to himself as he speaks.

"Kangaskhan go!" Brock says with the mon nodding as the mother places her baby down and walks on the battlefield. Once Kangaskhan's on the field she looks at Clodsire with the mon looking back as Charity speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" Charity says as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan let's go first use Hydro Pump!" Brock says with Kangaskhan nodding as she fires out a large stream of water from her mouth that goes to hit Clodsire Ivy speaks.

"Use Protect then Toxic!" Ivy calls Clodsire quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the Hydro Pump. Once the barrier goes down Clodsire shoots out a blob of poison which hits Kangaskhan who begins to cough as she's now poisoned Ivy speaks.

"Use Venoshock!" "Kangaskhan dodge!" Both trainers' call. Clodsire quickly fires out a stream of poison, but Kangaskhan quickly moves to the right and dodges the attack. When she does Ivy speaks.

"Use Mud Shot then Venoshock!" Ivy calls Clodsire quickly fires out a shot of mud which hits Kangaskhan in the face and covers her eyes. As Kangaskhan begins trying to get the mud out of her eyes Clodsire fires out a big stream of poison that heads for Kangaskhan as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan look out!" Brock calls but the mon can't dodge in time as she then gets hit by the Venoshock which consumes her. Kangaskhan is sent flying a few feet away as she falls on the ground Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan!" Brock calls in worry as the mon groans in pain and takes poison damage. Ivy then returns her Clodsire, pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.

"Obstagoon come out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Obstagoon. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon use Brick Break!" Ivy calls. Obstagoon jumps forward and goes to hit Kangaskhan as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan dodge then use Power-Up Punch!" Brock calls Kangaskhan quickly dodges Obstagoon's attack by backing away. Kangaskhan then covers her left fist in orange fighting energy and goes to hit Obstagoon as Ivy speaks.

"Use Obstruct!" Ivy calls Obstagoon roars and summons a protective barrier that blocks Kangaskhan's punch. Kangaskhan can feel her physical defense getting lower as Ivy speaks.

"Now use Mega Punch!" Ivy calls. Obstagoon's right fist glows and punches Kangaskhan hard in the face causing some damage and making her slide back a few feet away. Once Kangaskhan stops she groans in pain then coughs taking poison damage. Brock looks at Kangaskhan and begins to think.

"Kangaskhan isn't going to last much longer I need to switch her out" Brock says to himself as he pulls out Kangaskhan's Pokeball and speaks.

"Kangaskhan return!" Brock says with the mon nodding as she goes back in her Pokeball. Once Brock does that, he looks at Croagunk who nods as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk you're next!" Brock says as the frog walks on the battlefield and gets in a battle stance Ivy speaks.

"So, he's using Croagunk next. Obstagoon I'm still keeping you in!" Ivy says with the mon nodding as it looks at Croagunk and gets in a battle stance too. The 2 mons continue to look at each other as Charity speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" Charity calls as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk use Sludge Bomb!" Brock calls Croagunk takes a deep breath and fires out multiple bombs of sludge that head for Obstagoon as Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon use Night Slash!" Ivy calls. Obstagoon covers both of its claws in dark energy and begins slashing the poison bombs easily destroying them as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk run forward!" Brock calls as Croagunk begins running forward heading for Obstagoon Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon use Dark Pulse!" Ivy calls Obstagoon, gets rid of the final Sludge Bomb and fires out a dark stream of energy that heads for Croagunk as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk jump then use Brick Break!" Brock calls Croagunk quickly jumps high in the air avoiding the Dark Pulse. Croagunk begins falling towards Obstagoon with his right hand glowing white and goes to hit the mon as Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon use Obstruct!" Ivy calls Obstagoon roars and quickly summons a protective barrier. Just when Croagunk's about to come into contact with the barrier Brock speaks.

"Croagunk dodge then use Low Kick!" Brock calls. When Croagunk's about to make contact with the barrier he does a back flip avoiding it and lands on the ground. Croagunk then shoots forward and kicks Obstagoon's left leg with his right foot causing super effective damage. Obstagoon groans in pain then begins falling forward as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk use Poison Jab then Close Combat!" Brock calls. Before Ivy can call for a command Croagunk covers his right hand in poison jumps upward and uppercuts Obstagoon. After that Croagunk begins punching/kicking Obstagoon repeatedly causing more damage to the mon. Croagunk punches Obstagoon in the face one more time with his left fist making the mon groan in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon use Dark Pulse!" Croagunk use Brick Break!" Both trainers' call. Just when Obstagoon's about to fire the dark pulse Croagunk's right hand glows white and chops Obstagoon hard on the head. Obstagoon's sent crashing face first on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ivy speaks.

"Obstagoon!" Ivy calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Croagunk standing over an unconscious Obstagoon as Charity speaks.

"Obstagoon's unable to battle Croagunk's the winner!" Charity says as Brock speaks.

"Great job Croagunk!" Brock says with his other Pokémon cheering while Croagunk smiles. Prof. Ivy returns Obstagoon back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once she puts the ball away, she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Clodsire come back out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and brings Clodsire back in as Brock speaks.

"So, Clodsire's back" Brock says to himself as Charity calls for the battle to continue Ivy speaks.

"Use Earthquake!" Ivy calls. Clodsire roars causing the battlefield to shake as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk jump in the air to dodge!" Brock calls Croagunk quickly jumps in the air and dodges the attack as Ivy speaks.

"Use Rockslide!" Ivy calls surprising Brock as Clodsire roars and summons a portal above Croagunk. Croagunk looks at the portal and sees multiple large boulders coming out of it as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk dodge!" Brock calls but was too late as the boulders hit Croagunk and send the mon crashing back down hard on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk!" Brock calls in worry as when the dust clears it showcases Croagunk laying on his back groaning in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Now Clodsire use Earthquake!" Ivy calls and just when Clodsire's about to use the move Brock speaks.

"Croagunk use Sucker Punch!" Brock calls as Croagunk disappears then reappears in front of Clodsire and punches the mon in the face with his left fist. After that Croagunk then opens his mouth as Brock speaks.

"Now use Icy Wind!" Brock calls surprising Ivy as Croagunk lets out a chilling wind that connects with Clodsire and does super effective damage to the mon as Ivy speaks.

"Clodsire counter with Mud Shot!" "Croagunk dodge then return!" Both trainers' call. When the Icy Wind disappears Clodsire looks at Croagunk and begins firing out multiple shots of mud at him. Croagunk manages to easily dodge the attack and when he does, he quickly jumps back to Brock's side standing with his teammates. Now that Croagunk's safe Brock looks at Golbat with the mon nodding as Brock speaks.

"Golbat you're up and use Wing Attack!" Brock calls with Golbat nodding as he flies on the battlefield. Golbat's wings glow as he flies forward and heads for Clodsire as Ivy speaks.

"Use Rockslide!" Ivy calls Clodsire roars and launches multiple large boulders at Golbat as Brock speaks.

"Golbat dodge and use Steel Wing!" Brock calls. When the large boulders go to hit Golbat the mon continues to fly forward and is easily evading them. After that Golbat's wings glow in steel energy as he begins to easily cut through the boulders and continues heading for Clodsire as Ivy speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump!" "Golbat dodge then use Screech and Supersonic!" Both trainers' call. Clodsire takes a deep breath and fires out a large stream of water that heads for Golbat. Golbat manages to easily dodge the attack then looks at Clodsire and lets out a loud Screech. Once Golbat does that Clodsire tries to cover its ears but is unable to as its physical defense is now lowered. Golbat continues to Screech until it turns into a Supersonic and sends out 5 rings at Clodsire. Once the rings connect Clodsire is now confused surprising Ivy as she speaks.

"Oh no Clodsire's confused! Quick return!" Ivy says as she pulls out the mons Pokeball Brock speaks.

"Oh no you don't! Golbat use Mean Look!" Brock calls. Golbat's eyes glow as he sends out a shadowy figure that wraps its body around Clodsire. When that happens, Ivy tries to return Clodsire back to its Pokeball but is unable to thanks to the Mean Look as Brock speaks.

"Now Golbat use U-Turn!" Brock calls Golbat nods as he glows and shoots forward hitting Clodsire. Before Clodsire has a chance to attack Golbat quickly goes back in its Pokeball as Kangaskhan appears taking his place as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan use Hydro Pump!" Brock calls Kangaskhan fires out a large stream of water that heads for Clodsire as Ivy speaks.

"Clodsire dodge!" Ivy calls but the mon doesn't dodge because of its confused state which allows for the Hydro Pump to hit it causing super effective damage. When the Hydro Pump goes away, we see Clodsire groaning in pain, and it has broken out of the confusion as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan use Hydro Pump again!" Brock calls with Kangaskhan nodding and when she goes to use the move again, she stops as she is now suffering from poison damage. Ivy notices this and speaks.

"Clodsire use Venoshock!" Ivy calls Clodsire quickly fires out a big stream of poison that heads for Kangaskhan as Brock smiles and speaks.

"Now Kangaskhan use Giga Impact!" Brock calls surprising Ivy as when the Venoshock's about to hit Kangaskhan the mon quickly covers herself in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward. Kangaskhan easily goes through the Venoshock and keeps going until she hits Clodsire. When she does Clodsire is sent flying going past Ivy and lands on the ground a few feet away. Ivy looks at the mon and speaks.

"Clodsire!" Ivy calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see that Clodsire's knocked out as Charity speaks.

"Clodsire's unable to battle Kangaskhan's the winner!" Charity says allowing for Brock and his Pokémon to happily cheer. Ivy then returns Clodsire back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ivy then pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Exeggutor you're up next!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and sends out an Alolan Exeggutor. The 3 headed mon has a smile on its face as Brock speaks.

"So, an Alolan Exeggutor's next" Brock says to himself as Charity speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" Charity calls as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan return!" "Exeggutor quick use Dragon Hammer!" Both trainers' call. When Brock goes to return Kangaskhan Exeggutor covers its head in dragon energy and slams it hard on Kangaskhan creating an explosion along with a strong wind as Brock speaks.

"Kangaskhan!" Brock calls in worry as out of the cloud of dust Exeggutor lifts its head back up and looks forward. When the dust clears it's revealed that Kangaskhan is knocked out as Charity speaks.

"Kangaskhan's unable to battle Exggutor's the winner!" Charity calls allowing for Ivy and Exeggutor to cheer. Brock then returns Kangaskhan back to her Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once Brock puts the ball away, he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"Golbat come back out!" Brock says while throwing the ball forward and sending Golbat back out. Charity calls for the battle to continue as Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Air Slash!" Brock calls. Golbat begins flapping his wings fast sending out multiple slashes of wind at Exeggutor as Ivy speaks.

"Knock them away with Dragon Tail then use Psyshock!" Ivy calls. Exeggutor covers its tail in green dragon energy and swings it easily knocking away all of the slashes of wind. Exeggutor then summons multiple psychic orbs around itself and fires them at Golbat as Brock speaks.

"Golbat dodge!" Brock calls. Golbat sees the psychic orbs coming and begins flying through the air easily dodging them. As Golbat continues to dodge Brock notices Exeggutor building up something as Ivy speaks.

"Now use Draco Meteor!" "Golbat Look Out!" Both trainers' call. Exeggutor roars and sends out a big purple orb of draconic energy high into the air. Once the orb gets high enough it then explodes into multiple large purple meteors. Golbat sees this and begins trying his best to dodge the attack but then he gets hit by one of the meteors and comes crashing on the ground along with the other meteors. There are then multiple explosions on the battlefield as Brock speaks.

"Golbat!" Brock calls in worry as when the explosions stop and the smoke clears, we see Golbat laying on his back groaning in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Now Exeggutor use Dragon Hammer!" Ivy calls Exeggutor covers its head in dragon energy and goes to slam it on Golbat as Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Double Team to dodge then use Mean Look!" Brock calls. Just when Exeggutor's about to hit Golbat the mon creates multiple clones of himself and dodges the Dragon Hammer causing Exeggutor to slam its head on the battlefield instead. Golbat then looks at Exeggutor his eyes glow and sends out a shadowy figure that goes around Exeggutor's body making it so the mon can't go back in its Pokeball as Brock speaks.

"Now Golbat return!" Brock says with Golbat nodding as he goes back in his Pokeball. Once Golbat's gone Brock looks at Arctozolt with the mon nodding as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt you're next!" Brock says as Arctozolt jumps on the battlefield and gets in a battle stance Brock calls for a command.

"Arctozolt use Ice Beam!" Brock calls. Arctozolt quickly fires out an icy beam that heads for Exeggutor as Ivy speaks.

"Counter with Flamethrower!" Ivy calls Exeggutor quickly fires out the stream of fire that collides with the Ice Beam. The Flamethrower easily burns through the icy beam and heads for Arctozolt as Brock speaks.

"Use Thunderbolt!" Brock calls Arctozolt quickly shoots out a bolt of electricity that collides with the Flamethrower creating an explosion as Ivy speaks.

"Dragon Hammer!" Ivy calls as out of the explosion Exeggutor appears and goes to hit Arctozolt with its head as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt dodge!" Brock calls. Arctozolt quickly jumps to the right and dodges the attack landing a few feet away and when it does Ivy speaks.

"Now hit it with your tail!" Ivy calls. Before Brock can call for a command Exeggutor swings its tail and hits Arctozolt sending the mon high into the air. Now that Arctozolt's in the air Exeggutor looks at the mon as Ivy speaks.

"Now use Flamethrower!" Ivy calls Exeggutor fires out a big stream of fire that heads for Arctozolt as Brock speaks.

"Break through it with Wild Charge!" Brock calls. Up in the air Arctozolt sees the Flamethrower coming then covers his body in electricity and heads towards it. Once Arctozolt collides with the Flamethrower the mon begins to easily go through it and keeps going until it breaks out of the move and hits Exeggutor in the face causing some damage to the mon. When that happens Arctozolt takes some recoil damage and looks at Exeggutor as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt quick use Blizzard!" "Exeggutor dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Ivy Exeggutor's unable to dodge in time as Arctozolt roars and summons a large Blizzard that connects with Exeggutor causing super effective damage and completely freezing it. Arctozolt then lands on the ground as a few seconds later Exeggutor breaks out of the ice as Ivy speaks.

"Exeggutor are you okay?" Ivy asks. Exeggutor doesn't say anything as it falls on its back and is knocked out. Ivy has a surprised look on her face as Charity speaks.

"Exeggutor's unable to battle Arctozolt's the winner!" Charity says making Brock along with his Pokémon cheer. Ivy returns Exeggutor back to its ball and tells the mon thank you. Ivy then pulls out another Pokeball and goes to throw it.

"Slowking come out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and sends out a Galarian Slowking. When the mon appears, it has a smile on its face as Brock speaks.

"So, a Galarian Slowking's next. Arctozolt I'm still keeping you in!" Brock says with the mon nodding as it gets in a battle stance with Slowking doing the same. Charity calls for the battle to continue as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt use Thunder!" Brock calls Arctozolt roars and fires out a large electric bolt at Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking use Protect then Power Gem!" Ivy calls. Slowking summons a protective barrier and blocks the Thunder. After that Slowking fires a light blue beam of energy at Arctozolt as Brock speaks.

"Dodge Arctozolt!" Brock calls Arctozolt quickly moves out of the way avoiding the attack as Ivy speaks.

"Use Psychic and change the Power Gem's direction!" Ivy calls with Slowking nodding as it fires out the waves of psychic energy and connects with the beam. Slowking changes the beams direction allowing it to hit Arctozolt causing super effective damage and creating an explosion as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt!" Brock calls in worry as he sees the mon groaning in pain, but it can still battle. Ivy then calls for her next command.

"Slowking use Psychic to hold Arctozolt in place!" Ivy calls Slowking quickly fires the waves of psychic energy which connect with Arctozolt and begins holding the mon in place while also doing damage to it as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt try to break free!" Brock calls but Arctozolt's unable to as it continues to groan in pain Ivy speaks.

"Now's time to finish this use Eerie Spell!" Ivy calls making Brock concerned as Slowking roars and sends out a tremendous amount of psychic power at Arctozolt Brock speaks.

"Get out of there Arctozolt!" Brock says but Arctozolt can't do anything as a few seconds later the attack connects and creates a big explosion as Brock speaks.

"Arctozolt!" Brock calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Arctozolt laying on its back knocked out as Charity speaks.

"Arctozolt's unable to battle Slowking's the winner!" Charity calls allowing for Ivy and Slowking to cheer. Brock's sad that Arctozolt lost but returns the mon back to its Pokeball and says thank you. Brock then looks forward and begins to think.

"Her Slowking's psychic power is strong meaning that I can't send in Croagunk I could maybe send in Onix, but I don't know if Slowking has any water type moves. So that means you're my best option." Brock says to himself as he pulls out his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.

"Golbat come back out!" Brock says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Golbat again. Once Golbat appears the mon begins to pant a little bit as Ivy speaks.

"Looks like your Golbat is tired from his battle against Exeggutor" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"True but I'm confident that he can still take down Slowking!" Brock responds with Golbat agreeing with him making Ivy smile as she looks at Slowking and speaks.

"Slowking I'm still keeping you in" Ivy says with the mon nodding as it along with Golbat get into battle stances. The 2 mons along with their trainers continue to stare at each other as Charity speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" Charity calls as Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Supersonic!" Brock calls Golbat instantly lets out a big screech sound that heads for Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Block with Protect then use Power Gem!" Ivy calls Slowking quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the Supersonic. Slowking then shoots out a light blue beam that heads for Golbat as Brock speaks.

"Dodge Golbat!" Brock calls Golbat quickly flies high in the air and dodges the attack as Ivy speaks.

"Use Psychic to change its direction!" Ivy calls with Slowking nodding as it uses Psychic to change the direction of the Power Gem making it continue to go after Golbat. As the Power Gem's getting closer Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Double Team to dodge!" Brock calls. Just when the Power Gem is about to hit Golbat the bat quickly creates multiple copies of himself and dodges the attack as Ivy speaks.

"Nice try Brock but that's not going to work. Slowking fire more Power Gems and control them with Psychic!" Ivy calls surprising Brock as Slowking fires out more light blue beams and controls them with Psychic. Once Slowking does that it's having the beams easily destroy Golbat's clones one by one. The Power Gems continue destroying Golbat's clones until there's one Golbat left being the real one. Golbat sees the Power Gems getting closer to him as Brock speaks.

"Golbat descend!" Brock calls with Golbat nodding as he quickly descends heading towards the battlefield as Ivy speaks.

"Have the Power Gems follow him!" Ivy calls Slowking nods and has the gems follow Golbat as they descend too. We come over to Golbat and see that he's about to hit the ground as Brock speaks.

"Quick Golbat lift yourself up and head for Slowking!" Brock calls with Golbat nodding as he quickly pulls himself up and begins heading for Slowking. Once Golbat does that Slowking still has the gems follow Golbat but some of them do make contact with the ground. We see Golbat flying towards Slowking with the gems still following behind him as Ivy begins to think.

"Once Golbat gets close to Slowking Brock's probably going to try and have Golbat dodge at last second so that the Power Gems can hit Slowking" Ivy says to herself smiles and speaks.

"I won't let that happen! Slowking use Power Gem in front of you and speed them up with Psychic!" Ivy calls. Slowking nods as he fires out multiple light blue beams and boosts their speed with Psychic. There are now Power Gems in front of and behind Golbat as the beams of light are going to connect with the mon Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Double Team!" Brock calls with Golbat nodding as just before the gems are about to hit him Golbat quickly creates multiple clones of himself and dodges the attack as the gems then hit Golbat's clones along with each other creating multiple explosions. After that Golbat appears behind Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking Golbat's behind you use Psychic!" "Golbat quick use Screech then Acrobatics!" Both trainers' call. When Slowking goes to use Psychic Golbat lets out a loud Screech that hurts Slowking's ears making the mon stop as it feels its physical defense decrease. After that Golbat glows in blue flying energy shoots forward and begins hitting Slowking repeatedly back and forth causing damage to the mon. Golbat hits Slowking one more time then flies back in the air as Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Nasty Plot then Shadow Ball!" Brock calls Golbat roars as he sharply increases his special attack power sharply. Golbat then creates a big ball of ghostly energy and fires it at Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking use Protect!" Ivy calls Slowking quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack which does cause the barrier to crack a little bit. Then when the barrier goes down suddenly Golbat appears in front of Slowking and has his teeth ready as Brock speaks.

"Golbat use Crunch!" Brock calls. Before Ivy can call for a command Golbat's teeth glow in dark energy and bites Slowking causing super effective damage to the mon. As Golbat continues to bite Slowking the mon looks at Golbat as Ivy speaks.

"You made a mistake having Golbat be so close the Slowking Brock" Ivy says making Brock confused at first until he then realizes something and speaks.

"Golbat quick get away from Slowking!" "Too late! Slowking use Eerie Spell!" Both trainers' call. Before Golbat can get away from Slowking the mon roars sending out a tremendous amount of psychic energy that connects with Golbat causing super effective damage and sending the mon high into the air as Brock speaks.

"Golbat!" Brock calls in worry as once the psychic attack goes away, we see Golbat fall on the battlefield landing on his back creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears, we see that Golbat has scratches on his body and is groaning in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Looks like Golbat's about to faint soon Brock so we'll put an end to him. Slowking use Eerie Spell again!" Ivy calls with Slowking nodding as it begins to build up psychic energy Brock looks at Golbat and speaks.

"Golbat quick get up you have to get away from there!" Brock says with his other Pokémon cheering Golbat on hoping for him to move, but the bat continues to groan in pain. Back to Slowking it has finished building up its psychic power as Ivy speaks.

"Now Slowking fire!" Ivy calls with Slowking nodding as it roars and sends out a tremendous amount of psychic energy towards Golbat as Brock speaks.

"GOLBAT DODGE!" Brock yells in worry. Meanwhile, Golbat continues groaning in pain. He wants to move but feels pain all over his body. Golbat looks forward and sees the Eerie Spell coming until a few seconds later there's then a big explosion as Brock yells.

"GOLBAT!" Brock yells in worry as we see a big cloud of smoke Ivy speaks.

"That should've done it" Ivy says while having a smile on her face as they all look forward and see that Golbat is gone. They all have surprised looks on their faces as Ivy speaks.

"Where'd Golbat go?" Ivy questions with Brock wondering the same until he looks up in the air and sees Golbat making the boy smile as he speaks.

"Golbat! You did it! You managed to dodge!" Brock says happily allowing for his other Pokémon to cheer too as Ivy speaks.

"He must've used the last of his energy to dodge" Ivy says to herself while having an impressed look on her face as we look at Golbat again. We see Golbat panting heavily with scratches all over his body. Golbat's happy that he was able to dodge but realizes that he probably won't get a chance like that again. Golbat wants to become stronger so that he can help win this battle for his trainer along with his teammates. Golbat gets a serious look on his face and roars as he begins to glow a bright white. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Brock speaks.

"Golbat's evolving!" Brock says while having a surprised look on his face as Golbat begins to change. We see that he gets bigger, his 2 wings become 4, and his once blue skin becomes purple. A couple seconds later the light of evolution fades away as what was once a Golbat is now a Crobat. The mon has a serious look on his face as Brock speaks.

"Golbat evolved into a Crobat" Brock says as Ivy speaks.

"Simply amazing!" Ivy says while having a smile on her face as up in the air Crobat looks at Brock waiting for him to call for a command with Brock breaking out of his shock as he speaks.

"Crobat use Air Slash!" Brock calls Crobat's wings glow and begins flapping them fast sending out multiple slashes of wind at Slowking as Ivy breaks out of her shock too and speaks.

"Slowking stop them with Psychic!" Ivy calls Slowking fires out the waves of psychic energy and manages to stop most of the slashes of wind, but a few continue heading for Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Use Power Gem!" Ivy calls Slowking fires out multiple light blue beams at the slashes of wind and easily destroys them. The Power Gems now head for Crobat as Brock speaks.

"Counter with Shadow Ball!" Brock calls Crobat, creates a large ball of ghostly energy and fires it forward. The move easily destroys the Power Gems and heads for Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Use Protect!" Ivy calls Slowking quickly summons a protective barrier and begins blocking the attack. As Slowking's doing that it notices that the barrier is starting to crack a little bit because of the pressure of the Shadow Ball. The barrier continues to crack more and more as Ivy speaks.

"Add more power Slowking!" Ivy calls Slowking roars and adds more power to the barrier as it manages to restore the cracks and dispel the Shadow Ball. When that happens Slowking pants a little bit and unbeknownst to the mon Crobat is now behind it as Brock speaks.

"Crobat use Acrobatics" Brock calls. Before Ivy can call for a command Crobat covers his body in blue flying energy and shoots forward hitting Slowking repeatedly causing damage to the mon. Crobat then hits Slowking one more time making the mon slide back a few feet away as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking use Eerie Spell!" Ivy calls Slowking lets out a roar and sends out a tremendous amount of psychic energy at Crobat as Brock speaks.

"Crobat use Double team to dodge then use Supersonic!" Brock calls. Crobat quickly creates multiple clones of himself as the psychic energy hits them instead of the real Crobat. Once the Eerie Spell is gone Crobat lets out a screech of sonic waves that connect with Slowking and confuse the mon. Now that Slowking's confused it begins to wobble back and forth as Brock speaks.

"Okay Crobat it's time to end this! Use Nasty Plot then Shadow Ball!" Brock calls. Crobat roars as he sharply increases his special attack power again then creates a large ball of ghostly energy. Crobat launches the ball at Slowking as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking dodge!" Ivy calls but Slowking's unable to dodge because it's confused. A few seconds later the Shadow Ball consumes Slowking making the mon cry out in pain until there's an explosion as Ivy speaks.

"Slowking!" Ivy calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Slowking laying on its back as it's knocked out. Charity then speaks.

"Slowking's unable to battle Crobat's the winner!" Charity says as Brock looks at Crobat and speaks.

"Way to go Crobat!" Brock cheers along with his other Pokémon with Crobat nodding. Ivy returns Slowking back to its ball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. She then looks over and sees Brock looking at Crobat as the boy speaks.

"Crobat good job at defeating Slowking and congrats on evolving!" Brock says with Crobat nodding as the mon groans in pain. Brock notices this pulls out Crobat's Pokeball and speaks.

"Crobat return!" Brock says with the mon nodding as he goes back into his Pokeball. Brock tells Crobat to take a break for now as he'll need him later. Once Brock puts the ball away, he looks forward as Ivy speaks.

"You're doing well so far Brock I'm now down to my last two Pokémon" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"Yep, and I still have 4 but I'm not going to get too confident as I'm sure your last two aren't weak" Brock says with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"Well, you're right about that" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he looks at Croagunk and speaks.

"Do you want to battle again Croagunk?" Brock asks with the mon nodding as he speaks.

"Okay Croagunk you're next!" Brock says with Croagunk nodding as he jumps back on the battlefield Ivy speaks.

"So, Croagunk's back out then I'll go with this one" Ivy says while holding a Pokeball in her hand as she goes to throw it forward.

"Now Typhlosion come out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball forward and sends out her Hisuian Typhlosion. Once the mon appears the mon gets a serious look on its face as a ghostly fire appears around its neck Brock speaks.

"She's now using her Hisuian Typhlosion I've to be careful with this one as I don't know much about its battle style" Brock says to himself as he looks at Croagunk and speaks.

"Let's do this Croagunk!" Brock says with Croagunk nodding as he along with Typhlosion get into battle stances Charity speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" Charity calls as Ivy speaks.

"Use Flamethrower!" Ivy calls Typhlosion roars and fires out a purple stream of fire that heads for Croagunk as Brock speaks.

"Counter with Sludge Bomb!" Brock calls. Croagunk fires out multiple bombs of sludge that collide with the Flamethrower creating an explosion. When the explosion clears, we see the 2-mons staring at each other as Ivy speaks.

"Use Flame Wheel!" Ivy calls Typhlosion becomes a wheel of purple fire and shoots forward heading for Croagunk as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk counter with Poison Jab!" Brock calls. Croagunk covers his left hand in poison and collides with Typhlosion. When the two mons collide Typhlosion tries to knock Croagunk away, but the frog holds on strong until a couple seconds later the 2-mons slide away from each other. Once they do Typhlosion stops itself as Ivy speaks.

"Use Swift!" Ivy calls Typhlosion fires out multiple yellow stars out of its mouth that go to hit Croagunk as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk use Brick Break!" Brock calls. Both of Croagunk's hands glow white as he begins to easily chop down the yellow stars. As Croagunk continues to do that Ivy speaks.

"Flamethrower!" Ivy calls. Typhlosion roars as out of its mouth appears a big purple stream of fire that easily burns through the yellow stars and heads for Croagunk as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk jump in the air to dodge!" Brock calls. Croagunk quickly jumps high in the air dodging the attack and when he does Ivy has a smile on her face as she speaks.

"Now Typhlosion use Infernal Parade!" Ivy calls confusing Brock as he speaks.

"What's Infernal Parade?" Brock questions as Typhlosion roars creating multiple ghostly fireballs around itself. Typhlosion then sends them at Croagunk causing them to connect with the frog creating an explosion as Brock speaks.

"Croagunk!" Brock calls in worry as out of the explosion Croagunk begins falling back towards the battlefield as Ivy speaks.

"Typhlosion use Flame Wheel!" "Croagunk look out!" Both trainers' call. Typhlosion roars as it becomes a wheel of purple fire and shoots forward. Croagunk sees Typhlosion coming and is about to dodge but suddenly his body gets consumed in fire as he's now burned which surprises Brock as he speaks.

"Croagunk's burned? That must be an effect of Infernal Parade" Brock says to himself as Ivy speaks.

"Do it Typhlosion!" Ivy calls as Typhlosion keeps going until it hits Croagunk. Croagunk sent flying and lands next to Brock. Brock looks at the mon and sees Croagunk laying on his back knocked out as Charity speaks.

"Croagunk's unable to battle Typhlosion's the winner!" Charity calls allowing for Ivy and Typhlosion to cheer. Brock's sad that Croagunk lost but pulls out the mons Pokeball and returns him. Once he does that Brock tells Croagunk thank you and to get a good rest as he puts the ball away. Brock then looks forward and begins to think.

"Now who should I send out next?" Brock says to himself as he hears a voice.

"Nacl" The voice says causing Brock to look as he sees Naclstack then speaks.

"You're saying that you want to battle Naclstack?" Brock asks with the mon nodding as Brock speaks.

"Okay Naclstack let's go!" Brock says with Naclstack nodding as he goes on the battlefield and gets in a battle stance Ivy speaks.

"So, Naclstack's next. Typhlosion I'm keeping you in" Ivy says with the mon nodding as it gets in a battle stance too. Charity calls for the battle to continue as Brock speaks.

"Naclstack use Stone Edge!" Brock calls Naclstack summons multiple sharp stones around himself and fires them at Typhlosion as Ivy speaks.

"Typhlosion use Gyro Ball then Sunny Day!" Ivy calls. Typhlosion covers its body in steel energy and spins easily destroying all of the sharp stones. Then when the sharp stones are gone Typhlosion stops spinning and roars to the sky summoning an intense sun. Typhlosion can feel its fire power growing as Ivy speaks.

"Use Fire Blast!" Ivy calls Typhlosion roars and fires out a large blast of purple fire that heads for Naclstack as Brock speaks.

"Naclstack quick use Protect!" Brock calls Naclstack quickly summons a protective barrier and begins blocking the blast of fire. As Naclstack continues to block he can see that his barrier is starting to slowly crack as Brock speaks.

"Naclstack don't give up!" Brock cheers along with his other Pokémon as Naclstack roars and increases the power of his barrier. Naclstack manages to reform his barrier and dispel the Fire Blast. When that happens, Brock speaks.

"Good job Naclstack!" Brock says with the mon nodding as they look forward and see that Typhlosion's gone. Brock along with Naclstack have surprised looks on their faces but Brock then sees a hole. Brock now realizes where Typhlosion is and speaks.

"Naclstack quick use Earthquake!" "Too late! Typhlosion use Dig!" Both trainers' call. Before Naclstack can dodge Typhlosion bursts from underneath the mon and hits him sending Naclstack high into the air. Typhlosion goes after Naclstack and reaches the mon as Ivy speaks.

"Now use Solar Beam!" "Naclstack dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Brock Naclstack can't dodge in time as Typhlosion fires out a large beam of grassy energy that consumes Naclstack and sends the mon crashing on the ground creating an explosion as Brock speaks.

"Naclstack!" Brock calls in worry as we see Typhlosion land on the ground and look forward. When the cloud of smoke clears everyone can see Naclstack laying on his stomach groaning in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Looks like Naclstack can still battle. Typhlosion use Solar Beam one more time!" Ivy calls Typhlosion nods as it quickly charges the beam and fires it at Naclstack Brock speaks.

"Naclstack dodge!" Brock calls with his other Pokémon telling Naclstack to dodge too. Naclstack looks forward and sees the Solar Beam coming. Naclstack wants to dodge but can't as the beam is coming too fast. Naclstack decides to take a stand as the beam then makes contact with him surprising Brock and his Pokémon as Brock speaks.

"Naclstack!" Brock calls in worry. Meanwhile, with Naclstack he's groaning in pain but won't let this attack beat him. Naclstack continues blocking the beam as he then glows a bright white surprising everyone as Ivy speaks.

"Naclstack's evolving too?!" Ivy says while having a shocked look on her face as she along with everyone continue to look at Naclstack. The mon grows taller, gaining legs and big arms. Naclstack continues to change as when the light of evolution fades away what was once a Naclstack is now a Garganacl. Now that Garganacl has evolved the mon manages to easily get rid of the Solar Beam as he looks forward Brock speaks.

"Naclstack evolved into a Garganacl" Brock says while he along with his other Pokémon have surprised looks on their faces. Garganacl looks at them and smiles with Brock and his Pokémon smiling too as Brock speaks.

"Okay Garganacl let's do this!" Brock says with Garganacl nodding as it gets in a battle stance. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Ivy along with Typhlosion have surprised looks too until Ivy recovers from her shock and speaks.

"This isn't the time for us to be surprised. Typhlosion use Solar Beam!" Ivy calls causing Typhlosion to break out of its shock too as it fires out a large grassy beam of energy that heads for Garganacl as Brock speaks.

"Garganacl knock it away!" Brock calls with Garganacl nodding as he swings out his left arm and knocks the move away causing the attack to hit another part of the battlefield instead. Ivy along with Typhlosion are surprised that Garganacl was able to do that as Brock speaks.

"Okay Garganacl it's our turn to attack! Use Stone Edge!" Brock calls. Garganacl creates multiple sharp stones around himself and fires them at Typhlosion as Ivy speaks.

"Typhlosion dodge then use Infernal Parade!" Ivy calls. Typhlosion dodges to the left avoiding the sharp stones. Typhlosion then roars and fires out multiple ghost flames at Garganacl as Brock speaks.

"Garganacl use Protect!" Brock calls. Garganacl quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. A couple seconds later the ghostly flames go away allowing for Garganacl's protective barrier to disappear too. When that happens Garganacl looks forward and sees that Typhlosion's gone. Garganacl can feel that something is moving underneath him as Ivy speaks.

"Use Dig!" "Garganacl dodge!" Both trainers' call. Out of the ground appears Typhlosion who goes to hit Garganacl, but the mon quickly backs away dodging the attack. Garganacl lands a couple feet away, looks at Typhlosion and points both of his hands forward as Brock speaks.

"Okay Garganacl it's time for you to use your new move! Use Meteor Beam!" Brock calls surprising Ivy as she speaks.

"Typhlosion dodge!" Ivy calls but was too late as Garganacl roars and fires out a large beam of rock energy that consumes Typhlosion. Typhlosion roars in pain as it's sent flying and crashes down on the battlefield a few feet away. The Sunny Day goes away as Ivy speaks.

"Typhlosion!" Ivy calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Typhlosion laying on its back groaning in pain. The mon tries to stand back up, but it ultimately stays down in defeat as Charity speaks.

"Typhlosion's unable to battle Garganacl's the winner!" Charity calls making Brock happy as he speaks.

"You did it Garganacl and congratulations on evolving!" Brock says with his other Pokémon cheering as Garganacl smiles. Back to Ivy she's sad that Typhlosion lost but then smiles and returns the mon back to its Pokeball. Once she does, she tells the mon thank you then looks forward and speaks.

"You're doing great Brock" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"Thank you and we just have one more left" Brock says with his mons nodding as Ivy speaks.

"True but don't think that my last one will be easy to defeat. Now! Gyarados come out!" Ivy says as she throws the ball high in the air and sends out her Gyarados. When the mon appears, it lands on the ground and lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave showcasing its power. Once the mon stops roaring it looks at Garganacl and has a serious look on its face as Brock speaks.

"So, her last one is Gyarados I guess I should've seen that coming" Brock says to himself as he looks over at Garganacl and begins to think.

"Garganacl has taken a lot of damage from Typhlosion but has also used a lot of energy after evolving. I should return him." Brock says to himself and when he goes to return the mon Garganacl notices this and declines. Garganacl gives Brock a look saying that he wants to continue, Brock looks at Garganacl and nods understanding the mons wish. Brock then looks forward and speaks.

"let's continue Garganacl!" Brock says with the mon nodding as he gets in a battle stance Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados, you get ready too" Ivy says with the mon nodding as it also gets in a battle stance. Charity calls for the battle to continue as Brock speaks.

"Let's attack first Garganacl use Meteor Beam!" Brock calls Garganacl lets out a roar and fires out a large beam of rock energy that heads for Gyarados as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados dodge then use Hydro Pump!" Ivy calls. Gyarados manages to easily dodge the beam then fires out a large stream of water that consumes Garganacl and sends the mon flying a few feet away. Garganacl then lands on its back and is knocked out as Charity speaks.

"Garganacl's unable to battle Gyarados's the winner!" Charity calls allowing for Gyarados and Ivy to cheer. Brock pulls out Garganacl's Pokeball and returns the mon back to his ball. Brock tells Garganacl thank you and puts the ball away. Once he does that, he pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.

"Crobat go!" Brock says as he throws the ball forward and sends Crobat back in. Once Crobat appears he has a serious look on his face then begins to pant a little bit but can still battle as he looks at Gyarados with the sea serpent looking back. Charity calls for the battle to continue as Ivy speaks.

"Hydro Pump Gyarados!" "Crobat dodge then use Acrobatics!" Both trainers' call. Gyarados fires out a large stream of water that heads for Crobat, but the mon manages to easily dodge the attack. Crobat then glows in blue flying energy, shoots forward and begins hitting Gyarados back and forth causing damage to the mon. Once Crobat's done he begins to fly away from Gyarados as Brock speaks.

"Great job Crobat!" Brock says as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados use Thunder!" Ivy calls surprising Brock as Gyarados roars and out of the sky appears a large bolt of electricity that hits Crobat. Crobat cries out in pain as he is then sent crashing back down on the ground creating an explosion as Brock speaks.

"Crobat!" Brock calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Crobat laying on his stomach and is knocked out. Brock's a little surprised then returns Crobat back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Brock then puts the ball away as Ivy speaks.

"And now we both have one Pokémon left" Ivy says with Brock nodding as Ivy speaks.

"So, who's going to be your last one?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.

"My last one? It should be obvious." Brock responds as he looks at Onix with the giant rock snake nodding as Brock looks forward and speaks.

"Onix Go!" Brock says with Onix roaring as he goes over to the battlefield. Once Onix's on the field he looks at Gyarados and has a serious look on his face with Gyarados having the same look. The 2 mons continue to look at each other as Ivy speaks.

"Onix's your last Pokémon huh? Guess I should've known" Ivy says as she looks at Brock and speaks.

"Brock even though my Gyarados has a type advantage against your Onix I'm not going to underestimate him as I'm pretty sure that you have a way for Onix to deal with Gyarados's water type moves." Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"You're right about that" Brock responds making Ivy smile as she speaks.

"I'm interested in seeing what you and Onix can do Brock so give us everything you got!" Ivy says with Gyarados roaring in agreement as Brock speaks.

"You got it!" Brock says with Onix roaring too as he along with Gyarados get into battle stances. The 2 mons along with their trainers continue looking at each other in silence. They continue to do that until they feel a gentle wind breeze go by causing both trainers to speak.

"Gyarados use Hydro Pump!" "Onix counter with Flash Cannon!" Both trainers' call. Gyarados along with Onix roar as they fire their attacks at each other which collide creating a big explosion along with a strong gust of wind. When the wind goes away there's now a big cloud of smoke as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados use Waterfall!" Ivy calls as out of the smoke appears Gyarados who has its body covered in water and is heading for Onix as Brock speaks.

"Onix quick use Iron Tail!" Brock calls. Onix quickly covers his tail in steel energy and slaps Gyarados hard across the face stopping the mons pursuit. Gyarados groans in pain and can feel that its physical defense has decreased as Ivy speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Ivy calls Gyarados quickly recovers covers its mouth in water and fires out a large Hydro Pump at Onix as Brock speaks.

"Onix use Dig to dodge then Iron Head!" Brock calls. Onix quickly digs underground and successfully dodges the Hydro Pump. A couple seconds later Onix bursts from the ground, covers his head in steel energy and hits Gyarados hard in the face causing more damage to the mon as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados use Waterfall!" Ivy calls. Gyarados roars as it covers its body in water and headbutts Onix causing damage as Ivy speaks.

"Now use Hydro Pump!" "Onix dodge!" Both trainers' call. Gyarados fires out a large stream of water that hits Onix who couldn't dodge because he was flinching from the Waterfall. Onix cries out in pain as a couple seconds later the Hydro Pump disappears and we see Onix groaning in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados use Hydro Pump again!" Ivy calls with Gyarados roaring as it fires out another large stream of water at Onix Brock speaks.

"Onix use Sandstorm!" Brock calls. Onix lets out a roar and quickly summons a big sandstorm that manages to knock the Hydro Pump away and hit Gyarados. Gyarados groans a little in pain from the sand as Onix then hides inside the move. The battlefield is now covered in sand as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados get rid of this Sandstorm with Surf!" Ivy calls Gyarados lets out a mighty roar and summons a large wave of water that covers the battlefield and gets rid of the sandstorm. Once the Sandstorm's gone Ivy along with Gyarados look forward and don't see Onix as Ivy begins to think.

"Strange even if Onix used Dig the Surf still should've hit him. So, if he's not underground then that means" Ivy says to herself then looks at the sky and sees Onix falling towards Gyarados then speaks.

"Gyarados! Onix is above you use Hydro Pump!" Ivy calls Gyarados looks up in the air and fires out a large stream of water at Onix as Brock speaks.

"Onix dodge then use Iron Tail!" Brock calls. Up in the air Onix easily dodges the stream of water then covers his tail in steel energy and slams it hard onto Gyarados's head. Gyarados is sent crashing face first into the ground. Gyarados groans in pain then gets its tail ready as Ivy speaks.

"Use Aqua Tail!" Ivy calls Gyarados covers its tail in water and slaps Onix hard across the face causing super effective damage to the mon as Brock speaks.

"Onix use Flash Cannon and Iron Head!" Brock calls Onix roars and fires out a large steel beam of energy from his mouth which hits Gyarados causing more damage to the mon. Onix then covers his head in steel energy and hits Gyarados hard in the face making the sea serpent groan in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados use Hydro Pump!" Ivy calls Gyarados lets out a mighty roar and fires out a large stream of water that consumes Onix and sends the mon flying a few feet away as he lands on the ground Brock speaks.

"Onix!" Brock calls in worry while looking at the rock snake who's groaning in pain Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados let's finish this! Use Surf!" Ivy calls. Gyarados lets out a mighty roar and summons a large wave of water that heads for Onix as Brock begins to think.

"This is bad if that Surf hits Onix he'll faint and Onix doesn't have time to jump in the air to dodge. What can I do?" Brock says to himself while trying to think. Meanwhile, with Onix he sees the large wave of water coming and looks over at Brock who's trying to think. Onix then looks at the Surf again, gets a determined look on his face roars and begins charging towards the move as Brock speaks.

"Onix wait!" Brock yells but Onix ignores him and keeps heading towards the Surf as the move crashes down on him Brock speaks.

"ONIX!" Brock yells in concern as Ivy speaks.

"Looks like it's our victory" Ivy says while having a smile on her face as she then looks forward and sees something swimming in the water. Ivy continues looking forward and sees Onix in the Surf and is swimming inside it as she speaks.

"What?!" Ivy says while having a surprised look on her face with Brock being surprised too. Inside the water Onix groans in pain from the super effective attack but won't let it beat him as he roars and manages to break out of the Surf surprising everyone as Ivy speaks.

"Impossible" Ivy says as Brock speaks.

"Amazing Onix!" Brock cheers along with his other Pokémon. Meanwhile back on the battlefield Onix continues to roar as his body becomes covered in a blue aura surprising everyone as Brock speaks.

"That's Head Smash! Keep going Onix!" Brock says as his other Pokémon cheer Onix roars and continues heading for Gyarados as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados counter with Waterfall!" Ivy calls Gyarados lets out a mighty roar as it covers its body in water and shoots forward. We see the 2 mons continue heading for each other until a couple seconds later their heads collide. When that happens, they create a big shockwave and are creating a strong wind that is affecting both Brock and Ivy along with Brock's Pokémon and Charity. They all stand their ground and continue looking forward seeing the two-mons trying to push the other away. As Onix and Gyarados continue trying to knock each other away Onix begins to groan in pain as Ivy speaks.

"Gyarados now's your chance!" Ivy calls Gyarados roars and begins pushing hard making it more difficult for Onix as Brock speaks.

"Onix don't give up! WE BELIEVE IN YOU!" Brock yells while his other Pokémon cheer loud for Onix. Back to Onix he hears the cheers from his trainer along with his teammates and begins to start slowly pushing Gyarados back surprising the sea serpent and Ivy as Brock speaks.

"DO IT ONIXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!" Brock yells while Onix lets out a mighty roar increasing the power of his Head Smash as couple seconds later he manages to break through Gyarados's Waterfall. After that Onix then hits Gyarados and sends the mon flying as it goes past Ivy and crashes into a rocky wall behind her causing the woman to look back as she speaks.

"GYARADOS!" Ivy calls in worry as we see a big cloud of dust. Back to Onix his blue aura goes away, takes some recoil damage and looks forward while panting heavily. We now come over to Gyarados as when the dust clears, we see the mon laying on its stomach groaning in pain but then a couple seconds later it stands back up. Ivy has a smile on her face as Brock speaks.

"Looks like Gyarados can still battle" Brock says as we come over to Onix and Gyarados. We see the 2 mons continue to pant heavily while looking at each other. They continue to do that until they both begin to fall. Brock along with Ivy have surprised looks on their face and continue to watch the 2 mons. We see Gyarados fall on the ground while Onix manages to catch himself at last second and continues to pant. Charity looks over at Gyarados, sees the mon is knocked out and makes the call.

"Gyarados is unable to battle Onix is the winner. Seeing as Prof. Ivy has no more Pokémon left Brock is the winner of this battle!" Charity says surprising Brock as he speaks.

"We won?" Brock asks while looking at his Pokémon who nod making Brock smile as he speaks.

"We Won!" Brock cheers with his Pokémon cheering too. Meanwhile over with Prof. Ivy she's surprised that she lost but then smiles and walks over to Gyarados. When she reaches the mon she speaks.

"Gyarados are you okay?" Ivy asks with the sea serpent nodding and telling the woman sorry as Ivy speaks.

"It's okay you along with everyone else did amazing and I'm proud of all of you" Ivy says with Gyarados nodding as Ivy then returns the mon back to his Pokeball. Once she does that, she looks over at Brock who's currently celebrating with his Pokémon (Garganacl, Crobat, Croagunk, Arctozolt, and Kangaskhan came back out too) and begins walking over to them. As Brock, along with his Pokémon, continue to celebrate they stop once they see Prof. Ivy walking towards them. Once Prof. Ivy makes it, she looks at Brock and speaks.

"Brock that was an amazing battle you along with your Pokémon were great" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he speaks.

"Thank you my Pokémon and I enjoyed the battle too and it's been a while since we've had a battle as intense as that one" Brock says with his Pokémon agreeing with him as Ivy nods, she then looks at Brock and speaks.

"Also, Brock now that we battled how do you feel about what happened last night?" Ivy asks while having a curious look on her face as Brock speaks.

"Honestly while it sucks that I got rejected I feel that this battle helped me understand why as I realized that it just wouldn't work between us and I'm sorry for saying that stuff to you last night" Brock says while bowing apologetically as Ivy speaks.

"It's okay Brock and I'm happy that you're feeling better because the last thing I would want is for you to hate me" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he tells her that he would never hate her which makes Ivy smile as she speaks.

"Also, Brock even though I don't have the same feelings for you I'm sure that there's a girl somewhere out there in the world that's looking for a guy like you" ivy says with Brock nodding as he then immediately thinks about Suzie. Brock then looks at Ivy and speaks.

"Thank you Prof. Ivy and I think that I've already met the girl of my dreams" Brock says with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"So, are you still planning on leaving?" Ivy asks with Brock nodding as he speaks.

"Yes, because I really do feel as though I have learned everything I can here and it's time for me to move on" Brock responds with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"Okay but before you go why don't we have you heal up your Pokémon and then afterward I want to give you something" Ivy says with Brock nodding as they all head back to the lab. When they make it back to the lab, they see Nurse Joy which makes Brock get hearts in his eyes as he goes over to her. As Brock's talking to the woman Croagunk appears and jabs Brock's leg with Poison Jab making the teen paralyzed as he then falls down causing everyone the laugh. 20 minutes later Nurse Joy healed the Pokémon that Brock and Ivy used in their battle and left. Once she's gone Ivy looks at Brock, pulls out something from her pocket and speaks.

"Brock, do you know what this is?" Ivy asks making Brock look at the item as he speaks.

"That's a Metal Coat" Brock responds with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"And you do know what it's used for right?" Ivy asks with Brock nodding as he speaks.

"Yes, it's used to evolve Scyther into Scizor and Onix into Steelix during trading" Brock responds and when he does, he then realizes something and speaks.

"Wait are you giving this to me?" Brock asks with Ivy nodding as she speaks.

"Yes, during the battle I could feel your Onix's strong desire to grow stronger and watching him break through Gyarados's Surf was a surprise. So, I figured that the best way to help Onix grow would be for him to evolve and once he becomes a Steelix he'll have a resistance to water type moves. Think of this as a goodbye present from me." Ivy answers with Brock nodding as he then looks at Onix and speaks.

"Onix are you ready to evolve?" Brock asks with Onix nodding making Brock smile as he speaks.

"Okay" Brock says. Ivy hands Brock the Metal Coat as Brock then gives the item for Onix to hold onto as he's then returned back inside his Pokeball. After that Brock along with Ivy head over to a trading machine and place two Pokeball's on it. One contains Brock's Onix while the other contains Ivy's Gyarados. One of Ivy's assistants turns the machine on causing the 2 balls to be traded. After that the machine turns on again as the 2 Pokeball's go back to their original trainers causing both Brock and Ivy to pick them up. Ivy puts Gyarados's ball back in her pocket then looks at Brock and speaks.

"Now let's go take a look at your new Steelix" Ivy says with Brock nodding as they along with Brock's Pokémon and Ivy's assistants head outside. When they make it, Brock takes a couple steps forward, takes a deep breath, looks forward and speaks.

"Steelix come out!" Brock says as he throws the ball forward and when he does what appears isn't Onix as he's now a Steelix. Steelix lets out a mighty roar creating a big shockwave showcasing his power. Once Steelix is done roaring he looks at everyone as Ivy speaks.

"Looks like the evolution was a success" Ivy says as Brock looks at Steelix and speaks.

"Amazing Steelix congratulations on evolving!" Brock says with his other Pokémon congratulating Steelix too causing the mon to smile. After that Brock tells Prof. Ivy along with his assistants that it's time for him along with his Pokémon to go. Ivy along with her assistants tell Brock thank you for all that he's done by teaching them to cook, clean, and help take care of the Pokémon. Brock tells them thank you too for helping him learn more about Pokémon. They also ask Brock where he'll go now as Brock tells them that he'll travel around the Orange Islands for a little bit then head over to Pallet Town with Ivy and her assistants nodding. Once that is over, they all hug each other and say their goodbyes as Brock along with his Pokémon leave while Ivy along with her Pokémon and her assistants wave them goodbye. A few minutes later we see Brock along with his Pokémon on a boat that is currently sailing. As the boat continues to sail Brock along with his Pokémon look at Valencia Island one more time before looking forward as boat continues to sail somewhere the chapter comes to an end.

For those wondering the reason as to why I made this chapter is because in the main anime it was never really explained about what happened between Brock and Prof. Ivy, so I decided to try and explain it. I had Brock express his love for Ivy by proposing to her only to get shot down as I feel as though that's probably what happened in the main anime and why he was so sad afterwards. 3 of Brock's Pokémon evolved in this chapter tell me which one was your favorite also what are your thoughts on the team that I gave Prof. Ivy. One more thing now that Brock's left Valencia Island he still won't be meeting up with the gang for a while so their reunion with each other will happen later. Also seems like Red along with the others are going to do their best to find the other world Giovanni. Do you think that they'll be able to do it before he causes trouble again?

Next chapter will come out on 8/31/24 the reason it's coming out on that day is because I'm going to be on vacation for a few days, so I won't have a chance to post it next week. The chapter is going to focus on the gang finally reaching Pummelo Island where Ash will get to reunite with all of the rivals that he's met in this arc and also hold the open ceremony for the Orange League, so I hope you all look forward to it.
