4:55 am
An image appears on an open window on a desktop computer. It shows a 13 year old with blonde hair, glasses and a brown sweater. He looks a bit disheveled as he has bags under his eyes. Clearly this boy has been up for longer periods of time. The boy has taken off his glasses and is rubbing the temples of his head.
"Journal entry of November 11th, 2007, at 4:55 am. It has been approximately well over 8 to 9 hours since the shutdown of the Super Calculator. During shutdown there seemed to be a sort of hiccup during the process. I noticed processes that have stayed active longer than is allowed. I have kept an eye on a certain virus to make sure that nothing happens. As the clock continues to tick, I do not see any signs of XANA. At the recording of this entry, it should be my last. Unless we see proof that XANA exists outside of the Super Calculator I see that the job has been complete. If anyone finds this journal entry, whatever you do. Do not turn the Super Calculator back on! It will have catastrophic consequences on the real world. Please heed this warning."
That was the end of the journal entry, the journey that this blonde boy and his group of friends to defend the world from a malicious computer program. They were on the border of losing their lives time and time again, but always got back up to get into battle. After 2 years of battling this sentient program, they are able to put it to rest.
The boy sends this video journal to where the Super Calculator currently lives, in an abandoned factory down by the river in Boulogne-Billancourt. Of course since the Super Calculator has been shut down to avoid the virus from coming back from the dead, though the chances of that would be slim to no one known to the boy. He just hopes that if anyone who does turn on this computer, that they see the video appear in the inbox of the computer, watch it, then immediately turn the Super Calculator off and high tail it out of there, to never look back.
He stands up from his computer setup and stretches a bit, to then hear a knock come from his door.
"Come in!" He said in an exhausted tone.
The knocking came from a boy, a friend of the blonde boy currently living in the dorm. The knocker has brown hair, a white plain t-shirt and brown shorts.
"Had a feeling you were still awake Einstein" said the brown haired boy.
"Ulrich, I didn't expect you to still be up still?"
"You know with Odd's snoring its hard to fall asleep. I was walking to the bathroom to take a leak, and heard you were doing one of those diary video things."
"They're Journal Entries, and the reason I was is if someone thinks they land a gold mine with the Super Calculator. They will see the video I just sent to be queued into the inbox of the Super Calculator and realize what they've encountered."
"Please simplify it."
"I sent a video to be ready warning anyone to immediately turn off the computer and get out of dodge."
"Smart idea Jeremie"
Jeremie sits at his desk chair while explaining his plan to thwart any evil doing virus from coming back as Ulrich sits on his bed.
"So what now?" asked Ulrich with his arms crossed.
"Live normal lives, we've officially retired as Lyoko Warriors. The world won't need us in that way anymore." Said Jeremie in a bittersweet attitude.
"I am best to assume that we can't talk about our experiences about our professional lives as heroes?" Ulrich asked with an eyebrow raised, already knowing the answer but needing to hear it as confirmation.
"Absolutely not, we cannot have people out searching for the Super Calculator, though we do know that XANA is gone in any capacity. It runs too much of a risk anyone seeking or even encountering it by happenstance." Jeremie said in a stern voice to amplify his reasoning.
"Just needed to make sure, you know the talk you're going to need to have with Odd, you do realize how badly he'll want to use these experiences to attempt to pick up girls?"
Jeremie released a big sigh, took off his glasses and rubbed his temples once again. "I am aware of what he thinks he is going to do. Once in the morning I will nip this in the bud while we are with everyone at breakfast. This cannot get out, no one can know about what we've been doing for the past 2 years."
Ulrich nodded at the clearly stressed out friend in front of him. Not wanting to encourage any more time that his friend staying up any longer, he gets up and puts a hand on Jeremie's shoulder. "I think that's a perfect idea, how about you get to bed and get some rest? You've been up for god knows how long."
Jeremie put his glasses back on and chuckled a bit at his friends statement. "I should, I've been awake for longer than I care to admit, please make sure Aelita doesn't find out, she'll kill me."
Ulrich just laughs as he pats Jeremie's shoulder. "Will do, now I best be off. With Odd snoring loud enough, I hope he doesn't even keep you up!" He chuckles at his own joke. Ulrich then makes his way to the door, before looking back at the zombie of his friend making his way to his bed. After confirming that Jeremie hits the mattress Ulrich feels comfortable enough to leave the extremely tired genius that he will get some sleep.

"…. It will have catastrophic consequences on the real world. Please heed this warning." Said the blonde boy in the video coming from a large oversized monitor that is attached to some huge mechanical arm coming from the ceiling.
The boy currently sitting in the chair in front of the thing that he assumed is the Super Computer, as the video that was recorded looked like it took place in what seemed to be the old dorms back at Kadic. With the date clearly stated in the video, 2007 was so long ago, so the warning probably didn't mean anything anymore, right? Somehow the kid in the video seemed familiar, but doesn't make sense as it was 30 some odd years ago. The boy just shrugs and continues to look through the files on the computer to see if there's any programs that'll help him with any possible future homework. To help streamline the process so he can worry more about goofing off programing any games he is hyper fixating at any time.
The phone in the boy's pocket starts to buzz, pulling out the smartphone he answered the call. "Hey Stuart! What's up?"
The voice came through the phone screaming "Martin where the hell did you go!? Coach Poliakoff is pissed that you missed practice!"
Martin shrugged while still scrubbing through any sub routines or programs the computer in front of him held, "had something more important to do. I am checking out the factory you told me about that was haunted. Be tee dubs its not, but I did find this wicked cool computer system here. Its got this huge tower and I can only imagine how much power this machine has. Though the last file that appeared on the computer is from 2007? So who knows if my smartphone is more powerful than this bucket of bolts is anyways." Martin chuckled after the last bit. He genuinely thought the computer probably wasn't even worth digging through more as it is way older than he is.
"Martin? You mean you snuck all the way over to the abandoned factory that we were expressly told not to even think about stepping close to?" Stuart seemed more worried about his friend's safety rather than their coach being peeved off.
"You know Principle Delmas said that just because her crush back when she was a kid here apparently hung out with his other delinquent friends. Or as the rumor says." Martin said with a scoff, not having a second thought about their total witch of a principle they have. He dug around some news papers from the news reporters back when Elizabeth Delmas was enrolled at Kadic known as 'Sissi'. Turns out she was just as much of a witch then as she is now, though she now rules the campus with more of an iron fist.
"Careful who you say that to, if the coach or science teacher heard that you know your butt would be in her office in seconds flat."
"Yeah yeah, her lackeys can stick it in the mud, I have more important things to do here. Anyways since you know where I am. I am going to hang up now mom." Martin didn't mean that, but he didn't appreciate how nosey Stuart was being, Martin would rather focus more on figuring out why this factory needed a computer like this years ago.
"Just make sure you get back before anyone else notices." Said Stuart as Martin ended the call on his phone, after looking back at the phone he shook his head.
'I don't understand why he always has to make sure I am, ok? I don't need to be looked after, I came here to escape from my already over protective parents, I don't need another one!' Martin thought to himself as he finished looking through the computer. To his knowledge there was nothing left to look for on the computer.
It was just a simple computer that ran most of the security of the entire factory with some weird sub routines to check something called towers? He ran it once to see what it'd do and a window popped up, ran a few scripts and the window disappeared. Martin just shrugged that off. He decided that this was enough exploring of the factory, nothing of interest was here. Except for this dome looking structure in the middle of the room? To Martin this could be many different things, though he just chalked it up to potentially being some sort of air cooling vent so the computer wouldn't over heat. Dumb to put it in there, it could easily over heat this "Super Computer" that is considered super back in 1984. Martin laughed at himself after making that comparison.
Martin turned off the computer with just the power button on the monitor, he got off the chair and walked over to the elevator, just before he hit the button to send the elevator to the Cathedral. A stray thought crossed his mind, going back to the video he watched moments ago, telling him that since he turned on the Super Calculator he should completely turning off, which means going to where that huge tower of the brain of the super computer is. But had a feeling he would be back sometime soon, even if it just being a place for him to hang out away from everything and everyone. Sometimes he gets overwhelmed by everything and needs a place to escape to, is what Martin was saying to himself to make it sound more normal. Its closer to him just liking the peace and quiet.
The elevator slowly makes its way back up to the entrance of the factory. After the elevator reached its destination, he made his way out of the factory. Against his knowledge there was a camera watching him, from the moment he turned the computer back on and leaving.
A/N: Thank you all for taking the time and checking out this (I hope) series. I've had an attempt of making a Code Lyoko fanfiction before but I feel like the teenage angst I had while writing it ruined it now looking back on it. And after reading some other fanfiction of other properties I thought I would like to take a crack at this again. Please feel free to leave any comments on what you think of this! I am excited to see where this story takes us!
Note from the more popular Code Lyoko fanfictions I have seen, a good chunk of them I couldn't find are any fanfics that hold the spirit of the show. Its either almost hardcore/softcore NSFW or just completely sad. So that's why I am deciding the throw my hat in the ring for a 37 year long series. Can't believe it's been that long!
Anyways I apologize for the long author note at the end. I won't make this a reoccurring thing. Thank you all again for checking this out! And get ready to Virtualize!
