I'm…dead… (flashback) Hello my name is Luke I was just an average 26 year old just casually living life worked a job had a girlfriend had a family that I loved and was about to even ask my girlfriend to marry me. One day I was walking out of my house and as I was about to get into my car A loud horn started up and as I look to my left I see a massive truck about to barrel into my girlfriend who was walking outside with our dog and as if timed stopped I sprinted at a speed I had no idea I even possessed and tackled my girlfriend out the way but when I open my eye I saw nothing but a white void. After what felt like hours I noticed something that caused my body to go limp I saw what I presumed to be a creature devoid of features next to it is 3 orbs one that looks like its made of a high quality diamond the next that seemed as milky and perfect as a pearl and the last was a jagged yellow topaz that had spikes jutting out in random direction. The more I look at the orbs the more I swear I have seen them somewhere before and it's then when it clicks and I say the word Arceus. The formless figure transformed into a giant White quadruped animal with golden trim and 18 plate like accessories fanning around its core. It was then the 3 orbs also took shape and stood or I guess floating in front of me was the creation trio along with their maker Arceus. It was then a deep and powerful voice rang in my head. Arceus the god of the pokemon world, a world that I assumed was fictional is speaking to me with telepathy.
"Human or should I call you by your previous name?" Said Arceus
" Hhhhhuman is fine oh lord of creation" stuttered Luke
" There is no easy way to say this but you are dead" Said Arceus
"I'm…dead… ( Flashback end)
" As you know I am the god of the pokemon world and these are my 3 children Dialga Palkia and Giratina they along with I will give you an ability before sending you to the world I created." Said Arceus
" Wait what do you mean are you saying that i am being reincarnated into the world of pokemon does that mean the Anime exist or does it function off of the games story line?" Questioned Luke
" The pokemon world that you know about is from a child who was actually reincarnated from the Pokemon world to your own to prepare the second Chosen one…. You but don't worry the timeline that Dialga will send you to will line up with young Ash's timeline" Stated Arceus
"Wait so what you are telling me is that mangaka Satoshi Tajiri is actually Ash Ketchum himself and that he was reincarnated into my world to tell the events of his life when he was a trainer" Exclaimed Luke
" Yes and now you will one day meet young Ketchum once you start your own journey eventually it won't be at the start but eventually your paths will cross and you both will be starting your adventures roughly around the same time but with both Chosen Trainers maybe the world will finally be saved" Exclaimed Arceus
" What do you mean the world will be saved with both Chosen Trainers" Asked Luke
" Simply the evil team Rocket in 19 years time will attempt and succeed at capturing I with a capture device long forgotten and was once used to capture both Palkia and Dialga centuries prior in the land of Hisui the Origin Ball the only pokeball that forces servitude to the wielder and then Giovanni forces me to giving him complete control over everyone and anything in a sense he forces me to turn him into a human god and so I used all my power to summon you and will have Dialga to line up your timeline to that of Ash and once the Pokemon Grand Competition comes along you will battle Ash and befriend him and then will be allowed to explain to him what is happening but before that you need to become stronger." Explained Arceus
" I will explain this once there are categories that pokemon fall under. These categories are Common, Pseudo, Mythical, Sub legendary and Legendary." Explained Arceus
"With in the common and Pseudo fields of pokemon there are rare variants that are born called Alpha pokemon these pokemon are born with an aspect of grace meaning when these pokemon were born there is a chance a Mythical,Sub Legendary or a Legendary was nearby or had lived in the area at one point and the power radiating from them imbued with the egg causing the pokemon to be born stronger than a normal member of its species traits of an Alpha are Red Eyes and a far larger size than is normal for its species as well along with looking slightly more feral in appearance." Explained Arceus
" Lord Arceus I appreciate the knowledge you have bestowed upon me and I will do my very best to train and become the strongest trainer alive to protect the pokemon world and alongside Ash to eventually take down team rocket ." Spoke Luke
" Very good human, now there are two more things that I must inform you first I will inform you of the family you will be born into and the region. You will be born into the Kiri family the Kiri family has 2 well known and formidable trainers one is Brandon Kiri the current head of the Kanto Battle frontier this will be your uncle and at the moment he is in ownership of the sub legendary pokemon Regice Regirock and Registeel and later in life he is also known to capture Regielekie Regidrago and Regigigas. Your Father is the former champion of Johto and recently retires due to your birth he owns Articuno,Zapdos and Moltres and later in the future is known to capture the galarian counter parts but though he has sub legendary pokemon his other pokemon seem to rival the subs in power his name is Xaire Kiri you will be reborn with the name of Rai Kiri. The second thing I wish to explain to you is the ability of Aura that we will bestow on to you this power will allow you to better understand your pokemon not completely understand them but it will help you form bonds easier with your pokemon and we will also be infecting you along with Ash with the virus Pokerus it isn't harmful but once passed on to a pokemon it allows the pokemon the ability to eventually fully access there full power the process of virus passing on will be passive and happen naturally the closer you get to the pokemon once the bond of you and your pokemon is at its peak the virus will pass and strengthen the pokemon to feets far above the usual." Explained Arceus
" Now Trainer Rai Kiri are you ready to be reborn now remember this you will be reborn as a baby and will spend your first 10 years learning from your father and at times you uncle along with learning about the ancient pokemon world from your mother a famous in her own right archeologist and a former member of the Sinnoh Elite 4, you will be living in the Sinjoh borderlands a long stretch of land owned by your family your home will be next to my original Shrine in where Dialga,Palkia,Giratina and Mew were born and once you are ready you will be called there , So again I Ask are you ready" Roared Arceus
" Yes!" Yelled the newly named Rai

(AN) Hi everyone my name is Luke my Moniker though is Volt its a pleasure to meet you and this will be my first fanfic and i hope everyone likes this first chapter i will at most finish the first region and see how people like it from there.
Some small explanation i assume are needed for one yes I did add a couple Oc's along with giving Pyramid King Brandon a much needed backstory and now you know that he is apart of the Kiri Family and what the Kiri Family is will be fleshed out in later chapters
I will be incorporating pokemon from Legend Arceus for my pokemon team just to make it interesting along with using some game mechanics such as pokerus though I've changed its purpose a little bit
I'm going to say this ahead of time NO I will not be overpowered this is a journey now yes since i have prior knowledge I will be strong but early on with my first 2 regions or so I will still be a novice but not outright stupid now I am in all sense a pokemon master and know type match ups and wont make weird or stupid mistakes like other fanfic writers and try to make as much sense as possible I also won't be egging the story forever pokemon will learn moves and master them with in the chapter they are introduced but now again remember this is my first fanfic so give me a break
I will be adding a lot of head cannon and things that most of the community seem to agree on such as Cubone being a baby Kanga or Gengar being the shadow of a Clefable
Last but certainly not least yes I will be capturing sub legendary pokemon not every single one but a healthy amount along with allowing Ash to capture some as well though the story will mainly be focusing on me I will skip to Ash on a chapter to just get a sense on where he is in his adventure now I'm going to say this now Ash's Kanto region and Orange island will for the most part play out the same as it does in canon but come johto our first interaction though brief will change his mind set just a little so you are warned I will try to follow the chapters to be about 20 chapters a series maybe a little less or a little more and each series is in the span of a year so each regional competition takes a year to complete so Kanto-Journeys should be 9 years mini arcs such as Battle frontier or Orange Islands will be probably the last 1 to 2 chapters of a season so for example last 2 chapters of Kanto arc will be orange league and so on
