2 Weeks Later

"I admire you Princess." Mira began as they walked through King's Landing, each with a cloak over their heads to disguise themselves. Brienne followed a few feet behind them, to give the two women space. It had only been a few days since Tommen was crowned King, and while Visenya wasn't happy he was on the throne, she was happy that the boy was a kind individual, and cared for the small folk. "Most people within The Red Keep wouldn't step foot beyond the gates...the Queen included.

Visenya huffed. "The only thing Cersei is afraid of, is not being in control. Though based upon how she sunk her claws into Joffrey...I'm beginning to think she desires admiration from the small folk above all.

"Perhaps." Mira nodded as they continued to walk. "Where did you find such concern for the small folk?"

"My former sister-by-law, Elia Martell." She began. "She loved to be charitable...as did my mother...I guess I inherited it from them."

"You are kind Princess. Something many people wish they could be."

Visenya sighed. "I guess so."

They fell silent as they walked through the market, admiring all of the items that the vendors were selling.

"Did you give Ser Jaime an answer yet?" Mira asked after a while.

Visenya groaned. "Mira."

Mira shrugged. "I'm just curious. I'm not trying to persuade you in anyway...though he did try to have me help persuade you."

"I'm sure he did." She smirked rolling her eyes in annoyance.

"I do believe he loves you, Princess." She began.

"Why would you think that, Mira?" Visenya asked, genuinely wanted to know how Mira noticed that Jaime truly loves her.

"He wouldn't be checking on you almost every day, or asking about the dragons." She began.

"Is that all?"

"He wouldn't have given you a necklace that is Valyrian steel, that shows the symbol of your house." Mira concluded making Visenya nonchalantly run her fingers against her Valyrian steel necklace.

Within the last week, since Jaime made the marriage proposal to her (that could possibly result in a happy marriage, much to Visenya's surprise), he had been checking in on both her and the dragons more often, since she had no family in King's Landing.

Within the last few days though, when Jaime came to visit her, he brought her a gift. Much to her surprise, he gifted her a Valyrian steel necklace, that had the sigil of House Targaryen on it. He explained that when his father received Ice from the Boltons, he melted it down forging two swords, one for Joffrey as a wedding present, and one for Jaime. However, due to how big the sword was, there was still metal left over, allowing for two necklaces to be forged. One was shipped to Myrcella in Dorne, and the other, was supposed to go to Cersei (at the request of Tywin), but after Jaime found out about two necklaces being made...he decided that the second one should be for Visenya.

That way, she'd have a piece of the Stark's wherever she went.

"I am still deciding, Mira." Visenya admitted. "Though I admit, these last few weeks, he's been...sweeter to me."

"I agree, Princess." Brienne chimed in. "Though he will always be incorrigible."

Visenya smiled. "True."

Soon, after they strolled through King's Landing, they returned to The Red Keep, and while Mira decided to part ways with the group to speak to other fellow Highgarden handmaidens, Visenya ushered Brienne into the Kingsguard chambers.

"Why are we here, Princess?" Brienne asked walking around the room.

Visenya shrugged. "You and I were both requested to be here, at the expense of the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard."

"You flatter me, Princess." Jaime began as he walked into the room, pointing to a large book on the table. "But flattery is not why I called you here."

Brienne walked over to it, and began to flip the pages. That's when Visenya realized that it was the book that contained all the history of the Kingsguard.

"Ser Jaime Lannister. Knighted and named to the Kingsguard in his 16th year. At the sack of King's Landing, murdered his king Aerys II. Pardoned by Robert Baratheon. Thereafter known as the Kingslayer." Brienne explained reading the quote of the book, as Visenya leaned her back against the wall.

"It's the duty of the Lord Commander to fill those pages. And there's still room left on mine." Jaime explained.

"Don't let me write in it." Visenya began crossing her arms, as both Brienne and Jaime turned to look at her. "I'll write how stupid you are."

Jaime rolled his eyes before walking over to a displaced sword, weighed it in his hands, before handing it to Brienne, who took it with ease. She admired it as she held it in her hands.

"Valyrian steel." Brienne commented, still weighing the sword.

"It's yours." Visenya explained walking toward the two of them.

Brienne's eyes widened as she looked Visenya in the eyes. "I can't accept this, Princess."

"It was reforged from Ned Stark's sword." Jaime explained. "You'll use it to defend Ned Stark's daughter. You swore an oath to return the Stark girls to their mother. Lady Stark's dead. Arya's probably dead, too, but there's still a chance to find Sansa and get her somewhere safe."

"We've got something else for you." Visenya explained opening a wardrobe to reveal a suit of armor. "I hope we got your measurements correct."

Brienne nodded to the princess. "I'll find her. For Lady Catelyn, and for you."

Visenya nodded. "Once you find her...take her to Dragonstone...no one will be there."

"What of Stannis?" Brienne questioned.

"I have received word that Stannis travels North...leaving Dragonstone unoccupied." She explained. "Sansa will be safe there."

Brienne nodded. "It would be my honor, Princess."

"I almost forgot." Jaime interrupted making both women turn towards him in confusion. "I have another gift for you."

They ventured to the outskirts of King's Landing, where Podrick and Bronn were waiting. Immediately upon seeing Podrick, Brienne frowned.

"I don't need a squire."

"Of course you do." Visenya smiled.

"He'll slow me down." Brienne sighed.

"My brother owes him a debt. He's not safe here. You're keeping him from harm. It's chivalry." Jaime explained.

"I won't slow you down, ser..." Podrick began before correcting himself. "My lady. I promise I'll serve you well."

"See." Visenya began, trying to show Brienne to be optimistic. "He's a good lad. You'll get along."

Bronn then approached the group and pushed an axe onto Podrick's chest.

"Compliments of Lord Tyrion. His axe from the Blackwater." Bronn explained.

Podrick looked at the man in shock, making Visenya roll her eyes. The boy was shocked too easily. Podrick looked to Visenya who shook her head in annoyance.

"What are you waiting for, a kiss?" Bronn asked in disbelief. "Ready the lady's horse."

Podrick quickly nodded before tending to Brienne's horse. Visenya smiled as she walked up to Brienne, who was still admiring the sword.

"They say the best swords have names." Visenya began warmly. "Arya named her's Needle, Visenya Targaryen, who I am named after named her Valyrian steel blade Dark Sister. Any ideas?"

Brienne was silent, before looking Visenya in the eyes, confirming she had a name.

"Oathkeeper."

"Good-bye, Brienne." Jaime said with a nod.

Brienne nodded to him before turning to Visenya.

"I will bring Lady Sansa to Dragonstone, per your request, Princess." Brienne nodded.

Visenya nodded to her, as she watched the woman mount her horse, Podrick doing so as well, before they rode off in search of Sansa. After Brienne and Podrick left, Jaime, Bronn, and Visenya all mounted their horses to head back into King's Landing.

"How are the dragons?" Visenya asked as they rode through Flea Bottom.

Bronn nodded. "Large. The golden one acts like a royal when she gorges."

Visenya let out a laugh. "Sunspear is...particular."

"The blue one doesn't care...as long as he's getting attention." He continued.

"Who knew dragons could have such personality." Jaime remarked as they came to an intersection, with one road leading to The Red Keep, and the other leading to the Dragon Pit.

Visenya halted her horse. "Gentlemen, I shall see you both later."

Just as she was turning her horse towards the Dragon Pit, Jaime frowned in confusion.

"Where are you going?" He asked not understanding why she wasn't heading toward The Red Keep.

She smiled as she turned her head around. "To see truly how big my dragons are!"

She urged the horse into a slow canter, as she headed toward the Dragon Pit, eager to see how big her dragons truly were. With all of the mourning preparations, and the fact that Tommen's coronation was only a few days ago, the Keep was now preparing for Tyrion's trial, allowing for Visenya to finally see her dragons.

As soon as she arrived at the Dragon Pit, she noticed two shadows cast over her head, and within a matter of seconds, the sapphire and gold dragons landed before her. Visenya smiled in amazement as she walked toward them. While Aegonar was smaller than Sunspear (still the size of a large horse), Sunspear was quite large for her age.

But in Visenya's mind that was a good thing.

Why?

Because she was large enough to ride.

Visenya carefully walked over to Sunspear, and began to pet her calmly, trying to soothe the dragon. The dragon nuzzled into her, as Visenya cautiously walked along the side of the dragon, gently petting her golden wing. Almost like an it was an instinct for the dragon, Sunspear, lowered her body, to allow for her to climb up onto her back.

Cautiously, Visenya carefully climbed onto Sunspear's back, and grabbed one of the golden ridges in her back. She glanced over to Aegonar who immediately laid down, knowing he was off limits for flying. Visenya gripped onto Sunspear's ridges, and took a deep breath before saying the word.

"Sōvēs (Fly)." She commanded, and the golden dragon responded almost immediately.

Visneya let out a small yelp as she felt the dragon take to the sky. Her eyes widened as she held on for dear life, knowing that if she fell, she'd fall to her death. Sunspear flew over Blackwater Bay, allowing for Visenya to see the structure of Dragonstone from a distance, knowing Sansa would be there once she was found. She carefully turned Sunspear around, and she realized that in moment's like these, she was glad she studied Valyrian dragon commands.

She urged for Sunspear to climb higher, and at one point, they were flying above the clouds. Visenya smiled.

She finally knew what it was like to soar above the world.

It was magnificent.

"Embrot! (Down!)" She commanded, making Sunspear let out a roar, before they plunged through the clouds, allowing for King's Landing to become visual once again. She smirked in amusement as she flew past The Red Keep, and over King's Landing. From how high up she was, the small folk looked like ants.

And she loved every minute of it.

Carefully, she guided Sunspear towards the Dragon Pit, allowing her to safely land, and for Visenya to get off. Once Visenya's two feet were planted on the ground, she smiled in amazement at her golden dragon, now feeling more connected to her than ever. She then looked over to Aegonar who let out a roar as well, almost signifying that once he was big enough, he too would allow Visenya to ride him.

Visenya smiled as she allowed both dragons to nuzzle her...both acknowledging her as their mother. And to Visenya, they were her children.

Little did she know that when she flew over King's Landing, the small folk noticed her, and were practically dancing with joy, seeing at how 'The Queen of Dragons' showed her power. The only problem, was that when she flew past The Red Keep, she flew right past The Tower of The Hand, and Tywin who was sitting in his chambers, noticed the girl on the dragon, making him call for his son immediately, ordering him to marry her, whether he liked it or not (even though Jaime, wanted to marry her without force and for love).

After all, in Tywin's mind, a woman called 'The Queen of Dragons' was better to be controlled, rather than able to roam free.

But little did he know, that Visenya was already planning on getting out of King's Landing.

She was just waiting for the perfect time to do so.
