Welcome to the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, but before starting. Let us answer some reviews:
altajir95: Thanks. Yep, it's official, both of them are a couple. Yeah, one of the worst characters in the series has come out. In the end, Gabriel has "something" that she wants to talk to Kazuki and the others about, but I'm sure that most can guess what that's about.
Altair: Yes, Diodora appears, but ends up making himself suspicious of what he did.
Werewolf: Yeah, started with the three women that Kazuki had the deepest connection to. I can imagine either of them being next.
Guest: Yeah, it was a good moment between them. I thought that it would match as Saji declared that his dreams weren't the same as Issei's during their confrontation in the Rating Game. I thought that it would be a good time, no pun intended for them, all things considered. And I couldn't think of another moment for that. And that's going to be a satisfying moment when Kazuki gets the chance to rock him.
The Second Semester
The Hyoudou Mansion, where Kazuki and the others reside, has received Rias' mansion, which was further renovated into a six-story mansion with three underground floors. It sounded almost as if it was much more of an apology for being forced outside of his childhood home. However, in comparison, the residence was much larger compared to the Hyoudou Residence. But, at the moment six people resided in the house, making the thought of cleaning it almost difficult. It was a good thing that the people living there agreed to assist one another in all kinds of household chores.
Kazuki found himself waking up to find Asia, as usual hugging onto his arm with a peaceful smile, while seeming to be having a good dream. He found himself smiling and rubbing the top of her head, causing a peaceful sound to escape from Asia's mouth.
"…nnn."
He heard there was someone else sleeping beside him. Removing the covers, he found out that it was Raynare, who would often be found sleeping right beside him. And as usual, she was dressed in revealing sleepwear with colors that matched her. It wasn't that surprising, although, since the summer ended, Kazuki noticed that there was a major change. Well, because of whatever body modification surgery Grigori subjected her to, Raynare progressed in terms of her body in different ways. But, that wasn't the only change…
"…mm, ah."
Raynare moaned as her body twisted and turned around, her thighs brushed against one another, while her right hand inched closer to her breasts. Kazuki turned his head to the side, flustered from catching the slightest glance and hearing the moans.
"Raynare said that because of the body modifications, her body sometimes becomes overly sensitive. I could tell almost the times during the way when she almost openly asks to excuse herself and runs off where no one can hear her. It seems more tamed during the night, but there are certain moments in the night that Raynare either attempts to 'touch' herself and rub against anyone closer to her…most often me."
Kazuki found himself thinking, then noticed the time on the nearby clock.
"Well, it's time to get up," Kazuki stated, extending his finger and reaching in to poke Raynare's shoulder. "Hey, time to get up."
"Iyah!"
Reacting to that faint poke, Raynare found herself shooting right up, her face was the brightest shade of red, and then looked around.
"…."
Kazuki tried maintaining a calm face, even though he wanted to laugh out loud at Raynare's reaction.
"Uh, Kazuki, I told you to don't do that when I'm all…sensitive."
Raynare groaned and complained while staring at Kazuki with a shy look.
"Sorry about that."
Kazuki stated, glancing to the side.
"Liar."
Raynare pointed out, giving him a strong look as Kazuki turned around to wake up Asia.
"Asia, it's time to wake up."
"Mgh…"
Asia groaned as Kazuki tried waking her up, causing her to simply turn around stubbornly, showing almost no intention of waking up. Seeing the blonde doing this from time to time almost caused him to smile after seeing the adorableness from her.
"If you don't wake up, then you won't be able to go to school and meet your friends."
"Hmm."
That looked as if that and the kiss on the cheek were enough to wake up Asia; who found herself sitting up with sleepy eyes and disheveled hair. Honestly, even in this state of appearance, the blonde looked adorable, almost as if she were a rabbit or another small animal that was woken up.
"Ngh, good morning."
Asia said, yawning and rubbing her sleepy eyes.
"Good morning."
Kazuki said, rubbing the top of Asia's tired head.
"Good morning, as usual, Asia doesn't seem to be a morning person," Raynare said, moving in Asia's direction, wearing a smile on her face. "Now, come on, Asia, let's get ready."
"Okay."
Asia replied, finding herself being led in the direction of her bedroom which was adjacent to his through the door in Kazuki's room. She walked forward almost on instinct, although, her brain was still in the process of waking up right in that instance.
"Heh, well, I might as well get going too."
Kazuki stated, getting out of bed, then found himself in the process of getting prepared for the second semester at Kuoh Academy, which started some time ago.
Having finished, Kazuki found himself downstairs in the living room to find Sona sitting on the couch, staring at a collection of what seemed to be letters on the table. Based on the young woman's grim expression and seeing as this wouldn't be the first time letters were delivered to the house.
"More love letters huh."
Kazuki looked slightly annoyed as Sona confirmed his suspicions with a nod.
"Yes, as usual, the sender is Diodora Astaroth. Each one ranges from love letters, movie tickets, dinner invitations, and even product tickets," Sona sighed, wearing a dumbfounded expression about the amount of effort that was being put into attempting to gain Asia's attention. Even though there hasn't been a single response at all in the past two weeks. "He also left some big presents at the entrance. How many times has it been now?"
"That creep."
Kazuki couldn't come up with any other response aside from that.
For the past two weeks, in response to receiving the love letters and presents Asia couldn't give anything other than an apology to Kazuki and the others for the inconvenience she caused. She didn't know how to respond to them all, despite making it apparent that she was already dating Kazuki, but that didn't seem to stop them. Asia felt as if she was once again causing trouble for Kazuki because of this incident, something which caused him to develop a greater feeling of irritation for Diodora.
"Hah, he's causing so much trouble for Asia without even attempting to take no for an answer."
Kazuki stated scratching his head at the emotions building up.
"Yes, his actions thus far have been rather irregular compared to what I know about him. I haven't interacted much with him, but his actions of late have surprised me. Even Diodora's actions when we were all returning from the Underworld were irregular," Sona stated, before sighing and looking up at her boyfriend who was looking to be a bit annoyed by the whole thing. "So, do you want to do the honors?"
"Thought you never asked."
Kazuki replied, smiling as he raised his hand in the air.
A magic circle formed underneath the letters and invitations, causing them to float in the air, and then all of them were shredded into small fragments using wind. After none of the pieces could even be called a letter, the fragments were burned into nothing, not letting the smell permeate the clean air.
"Hah, I should consider going straight to that creepy weirdo."
Kazuki stated.
"I know, but that might not go right. Diodora is a relative of Ajuka-sama, who might not mind that, but there's a lot of influence to come from being related to the Maou. But, if things continue escalating, then I can imagine that it'll become something that'll continue affecting Asia-san. It was enough that Diodora ended up being the cause she was excommunicated, though she doesn't regret helping him. If it was just about showing gratitude, then that'd be better, but this is almost making Asia-san uncomfortable."
Sona explained, finding the entire situation to be irregular, being a suspension that the others shared from the others shared.
"Well, we'll handle it if something happens," Kazuki stated, wearing a somewhat calmer look. "Well, there is also something a little more important that I wanted to do this morning."
"Hmm, what would that be?"
Sona asked but then received her response as soon as Kazuki kissed her cheek, causing her face to turn bright red. In response to that morning kiss, Sona found herself looking flustered and nervous about it, finding herself acting cutely about the situation.
"A good morning kiss."
"I-I see."
Sona found herself looking somewhat happy about that, not used to the loving treatment from her boyfriend.
"I'm finished with breakfast!"
Mariah announced, being responsible for cooking breakfast this week. She could be seen standing inside the kitchen dressed in her school uniform and an apron reading: Thank the chef. All in all, Mariah looked as if she was capable of pulling off multiple things despite her particular situation.
At around that same time, Asia and Raynare came downstairs, dressed and invigorated compared to when the two woke up. Each of them sat at the table as Mariah cooked them a classic American breakfast: pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Among the chores, the people living there would be responsible for cooking meals at assigned times of the week. It looked as if Sona was looking forward to being in charge of cooking, although Kazuki was aware of the fact she liked cooking, but was a bad cook.
After the summer break, Sona ended up officially meeting Miki and Gorou for the first time, his mother picked up on the fact she was living with him too. It seemed to be the mother's instinct to be aware of the feelings that a woman has for her child. But, because of that, Miki ended up putting Sona through the same instruction that Asia was put through. Considering the level of skill the Hyoudou Patriarch stood on, it could be assumed that the Student Council President wouldn't leave without reaching some enlightenment.
Together, the residents of the mansion enjoyed their breakfast, almost as if the small group was a family of their own. The group talked among themselves and looked forward to starting the second semester, more so as there were a lot of new things ahead for them.
Heading to school, as usual, most of the attention was directed towards the approaching group, almost as if the students were deprived of them. However, a notable change, as the attention from female students seemed to be directed at Kazuki more compared to before the summer started. Based off the looks he was receiving that could have been from Vasco's and Tiamat's training regimen, resulting in Kazuki gaining a well-built physique. It didn't end there, as Kazuki, Asia, and Raynare ended up arriving in their classroom, where both the male and female students kept conversing or getting reacquainted with one another. Xenovia was among the people who were in the middle of a conversation with the other students.
Issei could be seen sitting right beside one of his two best friends, Motohama, with Matsuda being somewhere else sharing their regular perverted conversation. Based off of what the two of them could hear, Kazuki and Raynare could hear that the two members of the Perverted Trio could be heard talking about….
"Then graduate from being a virgin, right? Summer is like an obstacle for high school boys."
Motohama stated, nodding his head and fixing his glasses.
"Oh, Motohama. Did you get information regarding "that"?"
"Yeah, Matsuda went to get the actual information right now."
Almost as if Matsuda was reacting to his name, he ended up running inside the room in almost a panic, with a
"Heeeeey! Ise! Motohama! I got the information!"
"Like we thought, Yoshida from the next class did it during the summer! And it seems like he did it with an Onee-sama from third year!"
"That fucker!"
"That fucker!"
In response to hearing that information, both Issei and Motohama reacted with pure distaste. It seemed almost as if this student in question became more fashionable and gained a bigger attitude in response to having his first time with a third-year female student. It didn't end there, with more information being handed out with Motohama bringing out another piece of information.
"It's rumored that Ooba from our class has also done it with a first-year."
"Are you serious!? Ooba did!?"
In response to that, Issei and Matsuda glanced to the side to find that the classmate in question was wearing a refreshing smile while waving at the Perverted Trio. Hearing those words from them caused the faintest reaction from Kazuki and Asia, more so the latter, who was unable to hide the red dusting her cheeks. Considering Kazuki and Irina had sex long before that; Asia before the summer; and then Sona weeks before the summer ended. It'd looked as if Raynare and Mariah were somewhat aware of the fact that there was a change in them. But, with the possible reaction from Issei and the others, the two thought that it would be better not to mention it.
"Hello, Kazuki-kun, Asia-chan, and Yuuma-chan"
Said people turned around to find Katase and Murayama sitting at the desk near them, both wearing a smile on their faces.
"Hey, Katase, Murayama."
"Hello~"
"Hey."
Kazuki, Asia, and Raynare gave their responses to the two members of the Kendo Club.
"So, what were you three doing over the summer?"
Murayama asked curiously.
"Well, Asia and I ended up staying at a little house in a rural area with a former caretaker of hers who said that he'll be in that area too," Kazuki replied, having that excuse prepared for what the two would be doing over their break and discussed it with Asia beforehand. Telling people that he and Asia were alone in a house together all through the summer break would cause more trouble with them. "Isn't that right, Asia?"
"Yes, Kazuki, it was an amazing meeting with someone that I never thought that I'd be able to see again."
Asia replied with happiness as she thought about meeting able to meet Vasco Strada again and receiving those letters from the people she'd helped before. For the longest time, she thought of herself as nothing more than a monster capable of healing people to normal people. But, reading the letters that showed genuine happiness was an experience that removed a weight from her heart.
"That sounds so cool. I could imagine being out in those rural areas would be peaceful," Katase stated, wearing a smile on her face. "But, I'm sure that it would've been more romantic if it were just you and Kazuki-kun alone in a house. Ah, I could only imagine the things that two people could do alone."
At Katase's fantasy playing in her head, it wasn't that far off considering that Kazuki and Asia did a lot of things when the two were alone. Thinking about them caused their faces to turn a little red from the recollection, but that was put to a halt as soon as Tiamat moved in; which might've been a good thing considering that Dragons Kings seemed to be a bit more attentive to certain things.
"So, what about you, Yuuma-chan?"
"Hm, oh me," Raynare asked, returning to her Yuuma persona and proceeded to speak. "I spent the summer with my dad who took me out on a fun little trip."
"Oh, that sounds fun. So, did you enjoy yourself?"
Murayama asked, but Raynare seemed to stiffen up at the idea of "enjoying yourself".
"Yes, I enjoyed myself," Raynare replied, her mind going back to the torturous training that she did throughout the summer because of the members of Grigori, aside from Shemhazai and Penemune. She was even treated as a guinea pig for an experimental body modification surgery meant for Fallen Angels, which was in the process of being developed during the Great War, but it was never implemented. Raynare almost wanted to break down into tears after remembering it, but maintained her Yuuma persona. "It was a super fun vacation."
""That's good!""
Katase and Murayama stated, glad for "Yuuma".
However, Kazuki almost looked on feeling sad for the Fallen Angel, who was focused on undergoing what was pretty much torture. On the outside, she might look happy in front of her human friends, but on the inside, she must've been feeling depressed.
"Um, so, Kazuki-kun?"
Katase called out to him, then found herself looking more bashful while looking at Kazuki, the same thing could be said about Murayama.
"Uh, yes?"
Kazuki asked, finding them staring at him, though he could guess the reason.
"So, um, were you working out during the summer…?"
Katase asked.
"…because, you look different."
Murayama finished, seeming flustered as she looked at Kazuki.
"Well, I did do some workouts over the summer."
Like Raynare, Kazuki thought back to the training that the Strongest Exorcist and Dragon King subjected him to; although for him the training was more consensual and he wasn't forced to undergo forced body modification. It looked as if Aika entered the Perverted Trio's conversation, teasing the three of them about still being virgins, and sparked an immediate reaction from them. Asia and Raynare continued talking with Katase and Murayama, in addition to the other female students who entered the conversation.
Although Kazuki heard their nearby conversation, he heard somewhat of the conversation held by the group behind them. It sounded as if Aika was worried about Asia, who's been undergoing an emotional change, because of the Diodora incident, showing how much the perverted girl genuinely cared about Asia. Included in that were also the notable changes that Issei underwent, which were noticed by the female students. However, the words of Aika, his suddenly becoming full of himself ruined it.
In that instance, there was someone who ran straight into the classroom, a male student who seemed to be a bit tired from running. His sudden entrance caught the attention of the male and female students who were surprised and confused about the abrupt entrance.
"H-Hey! This is urgent," after managing to calm down, the male student had managed to get out what he wanted to say. "A transfer student is coming! It's a girl!"
After a pause—
[Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!?]
Their entire class, male and female students shouted out loud, except Kazuki, Asia, and Raynare, who were well aware of who this person could be.
Some time passed, with the class beginning as expected, but their teacher didn't start the class, instead waiting a moment as the students waited in anticipation.
"Come in."
At the teacher's comment, someone opened the classroom door, then entered the classroom and dressed in the Kuoh Academy female uniform.
[OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!]
The students found themselves shouting in exclamation as the transfer students found themselves smiling at their entire class. However, individuals such as Issei and Xenovia were surprised, having recognized the student right in front of them. In response, she bowed her head and then introduced herself to the excited class.
"My name is Shidou Irina. Let's get along, everyone!"
It was, in fact, Irina, who stood in front of the entire class and introduced herself to the people who'll become her classmates. As the students kept cheering at the idea of there being another female student in their class, it was then that Irina sent a loving look and winked in Kazuki's direction, who smiled back in response. Their class continued from there with the students excited to learn more about the situation with Irina, but focused mostly on the lesson before them.
"Kazu-chan!"
Irina announced as soon as the class ended up having their break, with her pouncing right on Kazuki without the slightest hesitation. Responding to that, he hugged his childhood friend and official girlfriend without hesitating in the slightest. She then moved from hugging Kazuki, something which she wanted to do for much longer than that to hugging Asia, who was standing beside him.
"Hello, Asia-chan."
"Hello, Iri-chan."
Both Irina and Asia greeted one another, almost as if the two were close friends who had just been reunited after a long time. After the entire thing with Kokabiel ended, both of them got to know one another far more than what Irina knew about Asia from the stories she heard within the church.
"It has been a while, Ise-kun, Xenovia, Raynare-san!"
Irina gave her greeting to the three of them, but with Xenovia, she was the sole person among the three that she decided to hug. Considering both of them have been partners for the longest time, it wasn't that surprising. But, seeing the situation that the two left off on, it was surprising for Xenovia that Irina still saw her as a friend.
"Xenovia! I'm glad you're doing okay! It might be awkward due to our positions, but I'm truly happy!"
"Yes, it has been a while, Irina. I'm glad you are doing alright yourself," Xenovia was happy too, but found herself in a lot of burning pain originating from her chest. "Is your cross dealing me some minor damage some sort of divine punishment…?"
As Xenovia asked that question, Irina realized that she was still wearing her cross and hugging Xenovia who turned into a Devil. Realizing that Irina moved from her best friend and partner while causing pain to her because of the cross around her neck. She still wasn't used to the fact that Xenovia was a Devil and the fact that crosses are capable of causing pain to the bluenette. Despite that, Xenovia couldn't help wearing a smile on her face as she was reunited with her closest friend and partner since the two of them met as younger Exorcists-in-training.
"What brings you here?"
Xenovia asked, finding herself curious about the reason Irina was there.
"I transferred here by Michael-sama's order," Irina replied, wearing a smile, and then gave a cute wink. "I'll give far more details after the lectures. I'll be in the old-school building, okay?"
Amid that, Issei got curious and then texted Rias about the entire situation with Irina, who responded that she was aware of her enrollment into Kuoh Academy. However, it was noted that Irina wasn't alone among the people who were beginning the second semester at their school as transfer students. Despite that, Rias didn't go into all that much detail about who that other person was.
"Shidou Irina-san, Ravel-san. I welcome you to our school."
That was the introduction that Sona gave out to Irina and Ravel, who was revealed as having also transferred to Kuoh Academy as a first-year student. It was a surprise for Issei, who hadn't been expecting to see either of them there. However, Koneko, who was sitting on Issei's lap looked to be the slightest bit miffed at the idea that Ravel would be attending the same school, more so seeing as she's also in the same classroom as herself and Gasper. The people there stood inside the Occult Research Club, where Azazel as their acting club adviser stood too.
"Yes! Everyone! Well, there are people I'm meeting for the first time, but I've met most of you before. My name is Shidou Irina! Church…," Irina found herself beginning her introduction but paused and rephrased her words. "No, I came here to Kuoh Academy as a messenger of the angels!"
"It's a pleasure to meet the people here. I decided to come to the Human World to broaden my horizon and to see the progression of Kazu-sama."
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
In response to their introduction, the people sitting or standing around in the club room clapped their hands while the two new transfer students stood there. Seeing as the introductions were done, Irina and Mariah could have a moment together. Both of them smiled as soon as the two met, and then proceeded to get reacquainted with one another; the two smiled and linked their hands together almost as if the two were in the process of doing a little dancing routine together. However, that begged the question of how casual and normal Irina was, which was something that Issei decided to ask.
(H-Hey Xenovia.)
(Why are you speaking in a low voice?)
(Irina doesn't know about the death of God, right?)
(At least she didn't know about it when she parted with me.)
Both Issei and Xenovia got into a conversation with one another about the subject.
"You do know about the death of God from the Bible, right?"
Azazel asked without hesitation.
"S-Senseiiiiiiiii! You can't suddenly ask her something like that!"
Issei asked worriedly.
"Idiot," Azazel sighed at Issei's comment as if his comment was the most obvious. "If she's here then she must have received the mission while knowing about it. Listen, this place is one of the most important places in the territory of the Three Factions. If someone affiliated comes here, then it means they are stepping foot in while having basic knowledge of it."
"Of course, Azazel-sama," Irina agreed, finding herself glancing back at Issei's direction, who still looked worried for Irina. "Don't worry Ise-kun. I already know about the absence of the Lord."
"You are quite tough," Xenovia had pointed out, surprised that Irina hadn't had an emotional breakdown. "I never thought Irina, who has such a strong belief in the teachings, would come here without being shocked at all."
"Of course I'm shocked," Irina stated, allowing tears to flow from her eyes while approaching her former partner. "My spiritual support! The center of my world! The Father of All Creation dieeeeeeed!? I was living while believing in all the teachings. So I spent seven days and seven nights sleeping when I heard the truth from Michael-sama! Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, Lord!"
As expected Irina was, in fact, emotional and was shown hugging the table no matter the expressions she was receiving from them. Although, the Devils and Fallen Angels couldn't understand the emotional outburst from Irina, however, those with strong beliefs could. Asia and Xenovia were those people, the same could be said about Kazuki and Mariah, but the two were more tame in comparison.
"I understand how you feel."
"I know."
Asia and Xenovia gently said to the three and proceeded to hug one another, all three of them almost had tears inside of their eyes.
"Asia-chan," Irina started, with tears streaming down her eyes. "I said this before, but I'm sorry for calling you a witch last time! I even said horrible things to Xenovia when we said our goodbyes! I'm sorry!"
"I don't mind. I'm hoping we can get along since we all love the same Lord."
"Same here. That was also my fault for acting without thinking properly. I turned into a Devil immediately, after all. But, I'm happy that we are reunited like this."
All three of them, Irina, Asia, and Xenovia came to full terms with one another wearing a smile on their faces and with tears in their eyes.
[Ah, Lord!]
"Ah, what a beautiful friendship."
Mariah couldn't stop herself from feeling the emotions from this situation, then found herself joining in on their group hug. Neither of them could find the slightest issue in allowing Mariah to join in, causing a larger feeling of emotions and faith before the four of them involved; resulting in the creation of the Church Quartet.
"What an interesting group."
Ravel found herself uttering, unable to comprehend what was happening right in front of her.
"Well, that's the kind of thing you should be expecting if you're a part of the team," Kazuki pointed out, wearing a smile on his face at their introduction while standing beside Ravel, who turned her gaze towards him. "Well, this is something that does build a bond between them."
"Is that so?"
Ravel found herself smiling at Kazuki's comment which carried a confident and idealistic tone. He was the kind of person that Ravel could follow because of their ideals and the confidence behind them, which wouldn't ever be at all deterred from the influences of others.
"Can I assume that you are Michael's messenger?"
Azazel asked, finding himself looking at Irina.
"Yes, Azazel-sama. Michael-sama was troubled because not a single person from Heaven's side was here," Irina stated, wearing a smile. "He said it's a problem if none of the staff is in this area. Plus, Kazu-chan also rebuilt the old church that was in town too."
"Oh, right, Michael said something like that. This location is active with the powers of those from either Heaven or the Underworld, but the ones who're working here are Rias and Sona's group, and also a small number of people including myself. Well, it's functioning well enough with us, but Michael said something so serious that he thinks people from Heaven should be involved too," Azazel stated, while also sighing. "Heaven already gave a lot of support, which is more than we can ask for. I said we don't need anyone, but he said that he won't accept that, and the one he decided to send is her."
At that thought, the people found themselves thinking about those words, starting from the Devils from Rias' and Sona's groups, then the Fallen Angels, and now with the addition of Angels. But, then there was Rias, who had to manage the entire thing as Kuoh Town was still a part of her territory and then was asked by the Maou, Sirzechs because it would lead to a better situation. In that instance, Irina found herself suddenly beginning to pray, and then a surprising change occurred. Her body proceeded to glow, then wings sprouted out from her back and a halo then manifested on top of her head.
The members of the Occult Research Club found themselves looking shocked about the fact that it seemed as if Irina turned into an Angel in that instance. However, in comparison, Kazuki and the others, in addition to Azazel didn't seem to be surprised about that sudden transformation.
"Your name is Shidou Irina, correct? Did you go through the angel transformation?"
Azazel asked, finding himself placing a hand on his chin.
"Angel transformation? There is such a phenomenon?"
Issei asked, finding himself sighing at that question.
"No, the truth is that there was no such thing until recently, when the Three Factions joined together after all this time passed," Azazel replied, explaining the situation. "A possible theory was discussed between the scientists of Heaven and the Underworld…."
"Yes. I received Michael-sama's blessing and became a Reincarnated Angel. I heard that the Seraphim used the technologies of the Devils and Fallen Angels to make it possible," Irina replied, causing another surprise among them. "Four Great Seraphim and other Seraphim. The total of ten Seraphim decided to have twelve subordinates called, Brave Saints each with a position from an Ace to Queen of the cards. The cards of King will be the position of the Angel-sama who would be the master."
It was surprising to hear that something such as this became possible after Heaven and the Underworld started to cooperate. It was heard that since the Biblical God's death, it became almost impossible for Pure Angels to be born under normal circumstances similar to that of Devils. However, due to their nature, Fallen Angels could increase their numbers. So, the creation of the Brave Saints which is similar to that of the Evil Pieces, gained the attention of Azazel.
"I see," Azazel stated, wearing an interested smile. "The Evil Piece technology. So, I'm guessing that the theories related to the Evil Pieces and Artificial Sacred Gears, huh? Man, Heaven sure did create an interesting thing right after we gave them our technology. If the devils are chess, then the angels are cards, huh? Well, cards also have the meaning of a trump card in them. After God's death, the increase of pure angels became almost impossible. So, increasing the number of Reincarnated Angels would connect to strengthen their forces."
The more the Gremory Group heard about the relationship between the Evil Pieces and Brave Saints, the more almost surprising it was hearing about the situation.
"If you are using such a system, then it seems like there will be someone strong called a Joker hiding. The twelve members also represent the twelve apostles. Man, he sure does entertain me, that Elder Angel-sama."
Azazel found himself utterly amused about the entire thing.
"So what card are you then, Irina?"
Issei asked out of curiosity.
"I'm an Ace! Fufufu, as Michael-sama's Ace. I received an honorable position! I can't even die! Even if the Lord is gone, I can continue to live if I'm Michael-sama's Ace," Irina found herself turning in the direction of Kazuki and Mariah while showing off the Ace symbol on her right hand. "But, there isn't much mystery in finding the Joker. Kazu-chan is one of them and Mari-chan is also a member of the Brave Saints too."
[Huh?!]
In response to that news, the members of the Gremory Group found themselves utterly surprised having heard that the two of them were a part of the same Brave Saints as Irina. As if to confirm that, the same light shined from the two of them, and then their halos and wings came out. However, there is a notable difference, was the number of wings that the two of them had. Kazuki had a total of eight wings, whereas Mariah had a total of four wings.
"I ended up becoming a Joker, because of Gabriel-san."
"I ended up becoming Gabriel-chan's Jack."
Kazuki and Mariah ended up starting with the latter showing off the Jack symbol on her right arm.
"Hm, that's surprising. Well, I guess that's to be expected that if a Joker would be used, then it would be used on the rare Hakuryuukou who happens to be a believer too," Azazel pointed out, then noticed the number of wings in Kazuki's possession. "But, I wasn't expecting that you would have a total of eight wings the first time that you'd turn into an Angel. If you gain another set, then you're pretty much a Seraph candidate. That's what I call one hell of a promotion from a Reincarnated Angel into a Seraph. I guess that speaks volumes to his aptitude."
"Gabriel-chan said the same thing."
Mariah pointed out, finding it funny that Kazuki is the second closest among the Brave Saints who might end up becoming a Seraph.
"But, didn't Asia end up becoming becoming an Angel too?"
Issei asked, having not heard a word about Asia.
"Hmm, well, Asia-chan ended up saying that she wouldn't become anyone else's Brave Saint aside from Kazuki-kun here," Mariah teased, causing Asia to look bashful about that comment. "Well, there's something about that particular situation. In regards to Asia-chan's conditions with the first, we plan on working on that before that time comes."
At that, there wasn't much revealed about that, but it caused them to remember that Asia was excommunicated by the Church because she could heal Humans and supernatural beings. It was mentioned that it caused some turbulence among the believers of the Church despite being a Sacred Gear created by their God. But, Asia was adamant about being the first person to join Kazuki's Brave Saints when he received them.
"So the new support of your life is Michael-san, huh."
Issei stated, finding himself thinking back to the previous conversation with their faiths being almost in danger of falling apart. But, then Michael ended up becoming the new God and leader of Heaven as a whole with the death of the Biblical God.
"Yes. It's better than losing yourself."
Xenovia pointed out, considering that losing your faith and falling apart would be a worse fate.
"Also, Michael-sama said he could see a special Rating Game between Evil Pieces and Brave Saints happening in the future! He also said that right now only the Seraph have them, but soon High-level Angels can be handed their own Brave Saints too and hopes for them to battle each other just like the Rating Games!"
At the mention of their being a potential match between the Kings who command their own Evil Pieces and their Brave Saints. However, there was one issue that remained among the three groups.
"There are those among the Angels and Devils who're against the decision made by the higher-ups from the three sides. We have a relationship where we were at war against each other for a very long time, so, of course, there would be those who feel uneasy if we suddenly told them to get along. But, Michael sure has thought about that," Azazel found himself almost amused by the suggestion he heard from the Archangel and current God. "Like that, he's preparing a representative war where they could make their arguments into battle techniques and they can release them. It's just like the World Cup or Olympics of the Human World."
It sounded as if Michael was well aware of the aggression between both sides and used what he witnessed in the Human World to ensure that the divide lessened. However, the politics between the Three Factions looked as if it would be a hard path leading down to that point.
"Then it would be possible for us, the Gremory Group," Rias asked curiously about that. "And the angels who are using this game system can have a battle?"
"Maybe in the future, it will," Azazel had replied, cracking his neck. "Even if I said that, not right away. At least ten years…or maybe twenty years. Well, around then would be a good time for you devil rookies and you will be able to enjoy it."
In terms of Human years that sounded long, but for Devils and Angels that wasn't much compared to how long they can live.
"Looks like we can enjoy it."
Kiba pointed out, thinking about the prospect of fighting against Brave Saints, in addition to the other Evil Piece users in the future.
"Hm, it would be interesting to have a battle of wits with Kazuki-kun in the future."
Sona said to herself, thinking about having a battle against Kazuki in a professional Rating Game, comparing the strategies that the two would employ.
"C-Churches are scary…."
Gasper stated, considering that the Church is continuing with the Vampire hunts.
It was still impossible to start negotiations with the Vampire Faction, however, the Church is continuing in the previous teachings after the alliance. There was word from the Three Factions that a special investigation team is in the process of being created to ensure that a new threat wouldn't be born in the world and threaten them. But, in the midst of this, there was a clapping sound from Sona, who gained their attention.
"Let's stop these types of discussions here and start today's welcoming party for Shidou Irina-san and Ravel-san."
"To all the Devils here. I have been looking at you all as my enemy and have eliminated some before. But, as our god and my King, Michael-sama said: We have to get along with them from now on, okay? So, I hope that we can get along with everyone! The truth is I wanted to get along with everyone! I would like to work hard as the representative of the Church! Please take care of me!"
Irina stated with an emotional and genuine tone.
"I hope that I could learn about the Human World and this school. So, please look after me."
Ravel stated, wearing a genuine smile, and bowed respectfully, causing Koneko to roll her eyes. It wasn't the kind of thing that went unnoticed by Ravel, who locked eyes with the Nekomata.
Despite their bickering, the welcoming party for them started, with all the other members of the Student Council coming in to join them. It continued with them getting better acquainted with the people there, with Ravel not all that knowledgeable about the people there on a personal level. Their welcome party, as usual, had even included a cake which was ordered from a delicious and popular sweet shop in the Human World.
After almost half an hour, the welcome party ended, and then the people started returning to their regular business in the clubs. However, the group consisting of Kazuki, Raynare, Mariah, Asia, Irina, and Ravel found themselves heading to the new School Building.
"Uh, Kazu-sama, where are we heading to."
"Our new club?"
Kazuki replied, showing off the key in his hand, which was handed to him by Sona.
Hearing his response and the key in his hands, caused a surprised expression to appear on their faces, with the sole exception being Mariah.
"Oh, does this have anything to do with what you and Sona were talking about?"
Maria inquired, recalling the two were speaking together a little more in private and at school.
"Yeah, before the summer, I brought up the idea of wanting to start a new club. Or, in this case, I think that I'm in the process of restarting a discontinued club. After school started again, I did all the usual procedures, so that it'll be accepted by the school," Kazuki explained as the group continued heading in the direction of the club room. "I couldn't remain in the Kendo Club considering that I was becoming too strong to remain in a club meant for more normal Humans. And since we'll be continuing to get involved in the supernatural, we'll end up needing a club a lot like the Student Council and Occult Research Club."
"That's true. If you want to be freer in being able to move around easier during the school day and would give a personal base for dealings in the supernatural," Ravel agreed, finding the idea of having their club and base to be appealing. "Plus, it wouldn't be right to continue relying on the Occult Research Club or Student Council."
"She's right. Besides, I think that this would benefit the school as a whole."
Kazuki stated, with Mariah wearing a teasing smile.
"So, this wouldn't have anything to do with wanting to support your girlfriend?"
Mariah asked, turning her attention to Kazuki while chuckling cheerfully.
"Eh, so Kazu-sama and Sona-sama are dating."
Ravel asked, thinking curiously at the comment.
"So, did Kazu-chan and Sona-san…uh, like me and Asia-chan?"
Irina asked, almost flustered at the thought of mentioning that out loud. Her voice was low enough that no one in the group could hear it, aside from Asia, who stood beside her and looked flushed. However, no matter what, it was an obvious truth that something happened between the three women and Kazuki, as stated by Raynare and Mariah.
"Um, well, yes I am," Kazuki had replied, although he was much more confident to have admitted it under normal circumstances, however, being forced out like that caught him off guard. "…and yes I did."
""…I see.""
Irina and Ravel found themselves uttering out loud, both of them coming to some realization.
It was good luck that the group managed to arrive in front of the location which would become their club room for the foreseeable future. Unlocking the room door, the five women found themselves looking inside a room filled with a bunch of computers, workstation desks, couches, chairs, printers, writing boards, and a large desk meant for the club president.
"Wow, I didn't think that it would end up being this big."
Raynare stated, finding herself surprised about the size of the room.
"That's what she said."
Mariah mumbled and chuckled, but Raynare and Kazuki seemed to have caught onto what she said.
"Seriously, she was raised in the church, right?," Kazuki and Raynare thought at the joke Mariah made. "Well, I'd like to introduce and welcome you all to the Newspaper Club."
"The Newspaper Club."
Asia looked surprised about the fact that this would end up being their club.
"Yeah, I thought that it would be a good club for us to restart," Kazuki informed walking inside the club room, then leaning up against the desk. "After talking to Sona, I heard that there was a Newspaper Club before, but the members started experiencing some weird happenings in the room. It turned out to be some evil spirit that chose to hide inside the classroom, but it soon got exorcised by Akeno-san during their first year. But, the incident is something that caused everyone to avoid this club room until now. So, I doubt that either of us would have the slightest trouble here."
"That's right. Also, I like the idea of starting a club room."
Mariah seemed interested in the idea.
"Me too, the thought that we'll be able to spread information across the school."
Ravel added.
"We'll be able to spread a message of love across the school too."
Irina said, idealistically with stars in her eyes.
"…right," Raynare stated, finding herself glancing at Irina with weird eyes. "Well, nonetheless, this is a good idea for a club. But, doesn't a club need an adviser?"
"I asked a teacher of ours to act as a temporary one. Our school doesn't have that many teachers aware of the supernatural aside from Azazel. So, finding an actual one would have to wait until we happen to get a teacher that has those qualifications."
"So, what do we do first, Kazu-sama?"
Ravel asked.
"Well, first things first, we'll need to find out the individual tasks that we'll be doing here. Since this is going to be the revival of the Newspaper Club, we'll have to be sure that it has a good return for the students," Kazuki stated, then looked forward. "So, tomorrow let's ensure the students know that we're the new newspaper club. Let's give one shout for the start of our new club."
[Let's go, Newspaper Club!]
Each young woman in the club room announced that out loud without hesitation.
From there the new members of the Newspaper Club found themselves planning and organizing what one person would be doing in this instance. It was then that Ravel could show off her organizational skills and aid in the structuring of how the club would end up being. But, since Kazuki was the President of the Newspaper Club, it did beg the question as to who would be his Vice President.
Once their club activities were finished, the individual people returned to their homes, with the residents of the Hyoudou Mansion. The inclusion of Irina and Ravel meant that their belongings would need to be placed in their already-prepared rooms. It didn't take that long seeing as their belongings were sent to their rooms ahead of time after the two arrived at Kuoh Academy. In regards to Irina, it didn't take that long, but for Ravel, who was a High-Class Devil, it took a little bit longer.
After finishing, the group found themselves eating their dinner prepared by Mariah and celebrating the addition to the mansion. Later that night, Kazuki and Irina found themselves sitting on the bed, appearing to be dressed for bed, with the young woman being dressed in a white nightgown. It was the first time that the two had been alone since before the summer break, during which, he explained what happened thus far.
"Wow, I didn't think that Kazu-chan would end up training with his Eminence, the Strongest Exorcist, and even the Strongest Dragon King," Irina stated, finding herself kicking her legs back and forth as much as possible. "Well, I can see the reason that Gabriel-sama ended up showing Kazu-chan as her Joker even more."
"Yeah, I got a lot stronger than I thought possible because of Vasco-san and Tiamat-san," Kazuki stated, leaning his head backward, then turned his attention to Irina. "Although, becoming Michael-sama's Ace isn't something an ordinary person could say they managed to become either."
"Yeah, though I don't think that I'm strong enough to become the kind of person that Michael-sama deserves as an Ace. I mean, I didn't do much during the last mission we were on together and even didn't do a single thing in the final battle against Kokabiel. In the end, I didn't even know the reason that Xenovia and Mari-chan remained, even saying all that stuff to Xenovia despite not being there."
Despite seeming cheerful in front of Xenovia, Irina felt emotional thinking back to the things that she said to the person who was her first partner and second best friend. In response to those words, Kazuki found himself with a comforting hand on her saddened shoulders.
"I doubt that either Xenovia or Mariah blames you for that. It might not have been ideal, but the two of them had come to see something that neither of them could have before. Xenovia found a purpose for herself that doesn't have to be bound by her faith. Mariah to some extent could free herself from the things binding her for most of her life and could live in the same place as her brother," Kazuki pointed out, causing Irina to listen to his words, not missing a single one. "So, instead of looking at the negatives, look at the positives. And besides, now all three or well, four of you are in the same place too. So, for the four of you, the things that happened ended up bringing you to the places where you could most thrive."
"You're right," Irina said, finding herself becoming much chipper in that instance. "Yeah, Xenovia, Mari-chan, and Asia-chan, all of us are going to be the closest friends ever."
It seemed as if Kazuki's words were enough for Irina's mood to shift and return to her bright and cheerful mood, something that her boyfriend loved to see from her. After those negative feelings were settled within her heart, Irina found herself moving closer to Kazuki, then leaning her head against him.
"So, Kazu-chan, did you do…it with Asia-chan and Sona-chan?"
"Yes."
Kazuki replied, seeing no reason to hesitate or act nervous about that. Having heard those words, Irina couldn't help her face turning bright red as some emotions started building up within her chest.
"Uh, so, Kazu-chan. Since we became Reincarnated Angels, it'll be especially difficult for us to do those kinds of…things together since we'll end up 'falling'. But, if it's me and Kazu-chan, then I don't think think that it won't be a difficult thing for us," Irina said, feeling flustered at the thought of that. "There's also a special ritual that Angels need to under before doing that. First, a barrier would need to be put around that location…."
"…and in the process, the person or people would need to pray the night before to purify your body and then have no lecherous thoughts. You'll have to think about the teachings that you've learned and must be out of pure love," Kazuki finished Irina's comment, causing her to realize that he learned about it from someone else, who could have been the same person who reincarnated him. "Yeah, I asked about it from Gabriel-san after hearing about the fact that Miracle Children exists in the Church. So, l received information detailing the technique from her too. But, I think that Gabriel-san ended up figuring out that I'd ask about that at some point."
"So, Kazu-chan learned about the ritual. Does that mean, that…."
"Well, I mean the ritual itself does sound self-explanatory for those who have strong beliefs. However, Sona isn't added into that category, and depending on the use, it might cause more harm than good for her as a Devil too," Kazuki stated finding himself staring at Irina with a smile. "So, since Gabriel-san taught me the ritual, I started to modify and create an original technique. It has been two weeks since I learned it and I learned some magic and techniques from other factions. I'm almost done, so it shouldn't be hurtful for devils."
"Hah?! Kazu-chan is so smart!"
Irina looked surprised and mesmerized that Kazuki could figure out something such as that in a span of fourteen days while preparing for school to return. He did test it out at least once or twice with Asia, there wasn't much of a change in regards to his wings turning black as Gabriel explained. But, at the same time, Kazuki wasn't aware of the particular thought and feelings added into the process of 'falling'. In regards to the ritual for Angels, pure love is required for the ritual to not fail.
He was well aware that his brother was pretty much an 'incarnation of lust', who would leer at women without the slightest bit of hesitation and imagine their bodies. However, for him, Kazuki focused most of his attention on the women he shared a genuine love for.
"Hm, Pure Angels had almost no sense of familiarity and experiences with things such as sex and desire. So, in learning about it, that would cause them to indulge in it. Well, that perfectly explained Azazel, who is pretty much the Fallen Angel version of Nii-san…however, with the Rating Game, he might seem more tame in comparison," Kazuki thought, as Irina appeared to fidget in place. "So, if their feelings and thoughts about someone remained pure, then would that mean they remain pure too? But, that is still a difficult demand for people."
"Um, so, would Kazu-chan mind testing that out with me?"
Irina asked, poking her fingers together, while her face turned red.
"Alright."
Kazuki replied, smiling at Irina's sudden shyness.
Just as Irina was preparing to remove her nightgown in expectation, the other door leading into his bedroom had opened up. Walking into the room was Asia, who was too dressed in her nightgown and looked to find Irina in the process of undressing.
"Oh, uh, I didn't know that Irina-chan and Kazuki were about to…."
Asia said, looking bashful about the fact the two were about to get started with their lovemaking.
"Oh, this could be a good chance," Irina stated, looking on with a strong and determined look on her face, without faltering. "Asia-chan, let's try and do it together with Kazu-chan."
"Eh?"
Kazuki looked surprised about that sudden comment from Irina, but then Asia herself looked determined too.
"Y-Yes, both of us like Kazuki. So, we should be able to do that."
Asia said, seeming to have accepted the suggestion from Irina, both of whom shared a great love for Kazuki.
"A threesome, huh? We haven't even done that yet, and I don't think that this is going to go in the direction both of them think," Kazuki thought, then noticed that Irina and Asia started getting undressed. He found himself smiling at least at the effort on their part. "Well, I might as well get things prepared."
Kazuki found himself activating the technique he created based on the ritual he learned from Gabriel, causing an assortment of magical symbols to spread across the room. Among them, are runic characters originating from the magical book he received from Rossweisse. There was a different atmosphere around the room, while a bashful Irina and Asia stood in front of their boyfriend, dressed in their underwear. Not knowing what else to do in that instance, the two instead approached Kazuki slowly.
"Uh, how did Asia-chan and Kazu-chan start?"
Irina curiously asked, while looking at the two of them from her current position.
In that instance, the two in question looked at one another with a wondering look, then decided to follow with her inquiry. Leaning forward, Kazuki kissed Asia, causing Irina to examine the entire thing, her face turning bright red at the moment the kiss continued heating up. It was different from the time she and Kazuki kissed the last time, it wasn't just the fact that she was watching someone else kissing her lover. But, seeing him tenderly holding onto Asia's face, then proceeded to notice their tongues started meshing against one another.
"…wow."
Irina couldn't come up with another response aside from that as the two separated with Asia wearing an almost vacant expression on her face. Kazuki then turned to Irina, who remained in the same position, while seeming to squirm about in the same seat. Irina didn't look until Kazuki placed a comforting hand on her cheek, causing her to turn to find her boyfriend's supportive face. After that, she closed her eyes and puckered her lips for the kiss, which didn't take long to come.
"Mph."
Irina moaned as Kazuki kissed her, with him starting at a steady pace. He couldn't say that he was an expert in these things, however, he knew from experience that it wouldn't work if he rushed things with people such as Irina and Asia. So, for Irina, Kazuki decided to take things slow so that he didn't end up forcing her into something she wasn't comfortable with. It'd progressed enough to where it seemed as if Irina was becoming far more comfortable, causing him to go deeper into the kiss.
"Hmm, ah…."
Irina started to moan into the kiss, as she felt his tongue entering her mouth, then proceeded to poke against her tongue. It was a test to see if Irina would be comfortable with this, something which she started to shyly take on; causing their tongues to begin wrestling against one another. It'd started rough with Irina seemingly mimicking them, but she then started to acclimate to it.
In that instance, feeling a little bit left out and even emotional, Asia started moving onto the bed, then soon found herself wrapping her arms around Kazuki's arm. Separating from Irina, his childhood friend wrapped her free arm with the same emotions as Asia. Whether it was intentional or not, the two ended up gently pushing Kazuki onto the bed, and then hovered above him.
"Kazuki."
"Kazu-chan."
Both Asia and Irina looked down at him with love and passion in their eyes, then lowered themselves down to lay a kiss on his left and right cheek. From there, the two continued showing their love for Kazuki. Though it wasn't the kind of threesome that most would expect, he didn't care about that as the two young women cared more about showing how much the two equally loved him. And for him, he could never choose one over the other no matter the situation.
Asia and Irina soon finished showing their love for one another, and the three of them decided to fall asleep together in the same bed. Both find themselves wrapping their arms around the young man, who the two decide will be the person they'll spend their entire lives with.
A/N: And there goes the next chapter of The Twin Dragons, this was the start of the second semester, with Asia's continued experience in the irritating invitations and presents from Diodora. Of course, those actions aren't going unnoticed by Kazuki and Sona, in addition to Raynare and Mariah, who were suspicious of him from the start. At Kuoh Academy, there was the inclusion of Irina and Ravel, transferred there to, of course, be close to Kazuki. It was also revealed that aside from Irina, Kazuki and Mariah became Brave Saints under Gabriel, with him being a Joker, whereas she is a Jack.
It was revealed that the club that Kazuki decided to start (well, restart) is the Newspaper Club, which for those aware of the nature behind that in-school anime, they're going to be involved in a lot of stuff. Also, I thought it would be interesting to ask who you all think would be a good Vice President for the Newspaper Club: Raynare, Asia, Mariah, Irina, or Ravel.
Also, it was mentioned that the Body Modification Surgery was something that Grigori thought of during the Great War, which is going to be explored further. But, I can imagine that might have ended up being a potential trump card in the evening of the odds against the Angels and Devils, however, it was never used. Plus, there all the time that their people could perfect it.
