Now I know you're probably thinking "But Gary, you haven't even finished one story, why are you making another?" and yes you're right to think that very much.
But.
I really like doing these signups so fuck off. This one has a gimmick though:
Pairs!
Each contestant will have someone they know compete alongside them. It can range from a rival, to family to even a lover.
The cast will be in the 26-28 range, with 3-4 pairs handpicked by me, so there's 10 free slots for pairs.
Here are the rules:
1 No NSFW or real people duh.
2 They can't have competed in a previous season written by me.
3 You can only submit pairs, and they have to have some sort of canonical connection. Shipping John White Guy with Tom Other White Guy doesn't change the fact that they have only interacted like 3 times in canon tops so obviously they wouldn't get picked. Also if they are enemies I will only pick them if their rivalry would realistically allow them to sign up together to compete (so you can have say 2 pokemon characters who are rivals compete together but not say Batman and The Joker).
4 Format submissions like this: Gary & Marty Stu (Mary Sues)-brothers.
5 Here's a list of franchises I'm familliar with to make sure I don't end up with a cast I don't know for the most part. You can submit characters from other franchises and I may even pick some of them but I don't recommend it.
