After Lincoln and Kieran's battle and the selfie at the third signboard, the three boys start to make their way back to Mossui Town.
"What are you gonna do now, Kieran?" Lincoln asked his new friend.
"I'm gonna probably train up my Pokemon for a while." said Kieran.
"I will too." said Lincoln before his stomach starts to growl.
"Maybe we should have some lunch first." suggested Clyde.
"Good call." said Lincoln.
"Yeah." said Kieran after his stomach growls as well.
"It is almost lunchtime." said Rita Loud.
"Some chow does sound good right about now." said Lynn Jr.
"Let's take a quick break for about an hour so we can eat." said Lori.
"Me, Bobby, Rusty, Zach, and Liam can go to Burpin' Burger for lunch, and we'll be back in time to watch you, Lame-O." said Ronnie Anne.
"Okay, subscribers; we're gonna take a break for a while." said Iono. "As much as I want to keep looking at my cute Linky and make sure that hussy, Carmine, keeps her hands and LIPS off of him; I could use a bite to eat. So come back in an hour to continue to watch my cutie and his friends exploring the Kitakami Region." With that, Lincoln ends the call.
"Let's head back to town." said Lincoln.
"Race ya!" said Clyde before he runs off.
"No fair!" said Lincoln with a laugh before he and Kieran take off after him.
Later, back at the Loud house, while the pizzas that Lynn Sr was making for his family were cooking in the oven; the Loud sisters were arguing with each other.
"My Ekans is way better than your dumb Cutiefly, Lola!" said Lana.
"Take that back!" exclaimed Lola.
"Excuse me, I'm the oldest; so, my Illumise is better than the rest of your Pokemon." said Lori.
"What does your age have to do with how much better a Pokemon is?" asked Luan.
"Oh please; my Heracross would cream your dumb bug, Lori." said Lynn Jr.
"My Impidimp is the best!" said Luan. Just then, Lynn Jr kicks Luan in the rear. "Hey!"
"What? The sign on your back said to." replied Lynn Jr. Luan reaches behind her and pulls a sheet of paper that reads 'KICK ME' that was taped to her back off.
"Impidimp!" exclaimed Luan; Impidimp chuckles in response.
"Well, my Vulpix has soft fur, unlike all your Pokemon." said Leni.
"My Aipom's fur is just fine." said Luna.
"Poppycock!" said Lisa. "My Ralts and Nosepass are far superior to your Pokemon specimens."
"My Greavard is better." said Lucy from behind Lisa, scaring her. The sisters, except for Lily who was watching the altercation with Tandemaus and Sentret, started fighting.
"Girls, please stop!" said Lynn Sr. Indeedee's eyes started to glow blue; seconds later, the Loud sisters were floating in mid-air, surrounded by light blue energy.
"Hey, what's going on?" asked Lori.
"Are you doing this, Lucy?!" Lola asked the goth sister.
"It isn't me." Lucy replied with actual surprise in her voice. Lynn Sr and Rita look around to find what was making their daughters levitate and see Indeedee with her eyes glowing and holding her arms out.
"I guess Indeedee didn't like you girls fighting either." said Rita.
"This makes dealing with these fights easier for us, honey." said Lynn Sr. Indeedee then sets the girls gently back on the floor.
"Poo poo." said Lily as a foul stench came out of her diaper.
"Okay, who's going to change the baby?" asked Lynn Sr. Lily was suddenly hovering up off the floor and up the stairs with Indeedee floating after her.
"What's Indeedee up to?" asked Lori. Lynn Sr follows Lily and Indeedee upstairs to Lisa and Lily's room.
"What's going on up there?" asked Rita.
"Indeedee is using her powers to change Lily's diaper." said Lynn Sr. A minute later, Lynn Sr was carrying Lily, now wearing a clean diaper downstairs, followed by Indeedee.
"That's handy." said Lori.
"Remind me to thank Lincoln for sending a Pokemon that has no problem changing Lily's diaper." said Lynn Sr.
"Will do." replied Rita.
Back at Mossui Town, the three boys have just arrived, after ending their little race in a three-way tie.
"Man, that was tiring." said Clyde.
"But at least it was fun." said Kieran.
"And Ms. Dendra would be glad we got some exercise." said Lincoln.
"Who's that?" Kieran replied.
"Our Battle Studies teacher." said Clyde. "She teaches us Pokemon battle techniques, but she also makes us do intense workouts."
"She made us do ten laps around a racetrack one time just because we each ate a small ice cream cone." said Lincoln.
"That sounds a bit too much." said Kieran.
"Hey, everyone!" Carmine's voice calls out, making the boys look to see her running over to them.
"Hi, sis." said Kieran. Carmine stops when she reaches the boys; she then winks at Lincoln, making him blush a bit.
"Good thing Iono's not watching right now." said Clyde.
"So, what are you up to now?" asked Carmine.
"Gonna grab some lunch." said Lincoln.
"I'll join you." said Carmine.
The four head off to a small clearing and make some lunch for them and their Pokemon.
"You really are good at cooking, Lincoln." said Kieran.
"His dad and our Home Ec. teacher, Mr. Saguaro, taught him well." said Clyde.
"Hey, Lincoln." said Carmine.
"Yeah?" Lincoln replied.
"I need to discuss something with you." said Carmine.
"What?" asked Lincoln.
"Meet me at my grandparents' place in a bit." said Carmine.
"Sure." said Lincoln.
"Thanks, and you can bring Clyde if you want." said Carmine before she kisses Lincoln on the cheek, making him blush, and running off towards town.
"Probably wants to talk about Ogerpon's mask." said Clyde after Carmine was out of earshot.
"You're most likely right." said Lincoln.
"I wish she'd let me in on it." said Kieran.
"We'll keep you updated when we learn more." said Lincoln.
"Thanks, you two." said Kieran. "I'm gonna train up my Pokemon in the meantime."
"Okay." said Lincoln. After the boys clean everything up, Lincoln and Clyde head back to town.
They both arrive at Kieran and Carmine's grandparents' place where Carmine and her grandfather were waiting.
"Lincoln; you took your sweet time." said Carmine. "We wanted to talk to you before Kiki shows up."
"Actually, Kieran went off somewhere to train." said Lincoln.
"Good, so we don't have to worry about him overhearing what we'll be talking about." said Carmine.
"So, what's up?" asked Clyde.
"I wanted to fix Ogerpon's mask, but I'll need one more bit of material if I want to do a proper job of it." said Carmine and Kieran's grandfather.
"What exactly do you need?" asked Clyde.
"According to Grandpa, we need to get a Crystal Cluster from the bottom of the Crystal Pool." said Carmine. "I mean, we could return the mask as it is, but I think it would make Ogerpon really happy if we fixed it up first."
"I'm pretty sure it would." said Lincoln.
"Since I heard the real story, I just want Ogerpon to be happy, you know?" said Carmine.
"Us too." said Clyde.
'Kieran, also.' Lincoln thinks to himself.
"I'm sure Ogerpon will be pleased to know how much you care for it." said Carmine and Kieran's grandfather.
"So, where is the Crystal Pool anyway?" asked Lincoln.
"It's on top of Oni Mountain." replied Carmine. "I'm usually not keen on outsiders heading up the mountain, but I think we can make an exception for you two."
"Well, let's get going then." said Clyde.
As the three head out, Lincoln looks around and sees Kieran on the other side of the wall looking at them.
'Must've heard what we plan on doing.' said Lincoln before he nods at Kieran, getting a nod from him in response. Clyde looks around and sees Kieran also and nods as well.
"We'll make sure to give Kieran an update after we get back from Oni Mountain." Clyde whispers to Lincoln.
"You got it." Lincoln whispers back.
"Hurry up!" said Carmine from up ahead of them.
"Coming!" Lincoln and Clyde say in unison.
Meanwhile, back with Kieran, he was sneaking into his grandparents' house and makes his way to their bedroom where he sees Ogerpon's mask on the bed.
"I'm gonna prove to Carmine that I can stand on my own." said Kieran as he grabs the mask and exits the house; not noticing that his grandfather was watching him head off towards Loyalty Plaza.
"What's Kieran doing with the mask?" Kieran and Carmine's grandfather asked himself with concern.
What is Kieran planning? Will Lincoln, Clyde, and Carmine find the Crystal Cluster needed to repair Ogerpon's mask? Wait and find out.
