The next day after school, Lincoln was walking down the street in Hau'oli City on his way back to Iki Town. As he does so, a delivery truck goes by him in the direction he was going in. Not paying any real mind to it since he didn't feel any reason to, he continues walking.
"Hey, Lincoln!" Shiloh's voice calls out, making him look to see his cousins and friends running towards him.
"Alola, everyone." said Lincoln. "Where are Uncle Lance and Aunt Sharon?"
"They went out to lunch together at a fancy-looking restaurant." said Shelby.
"It looked kind of boring, so we decided to look for you." said Shiloh.
"What are you up to, cuz?" asked Shane.
"I'm just gonna check out Route 1 for more Pokemon to send to the Poke Pelago." said Lincoln.
"Can we watch?" asked Shelby
"Sure." said Lincoln.
"Let's go then." said Mallow as she grabs one of Lincoln's arms, making him blush, which makes Lincoln's cousins and friends chuckle, and pulls him towards Route 1. When they get there, he sees a green caterpillar like Pokemon coming out of some grass, making him point his Rotom Phone at it.
"Caterpie, the Worm Pokemon. Perhaps because it would like to grow up quickly, it has a voracious appetite, eating a hundred leaves a day." said the Rotom Phone.
"This Pokemon will do just fine." said Lincoln. He takes out his Rufflet's pokeball and tosses it, releasing the Pokemon inside.
"Go get it, Lincoln." said Sophocles.
"Okay, Rufflet, use Wing Attack!" said Lincoln. Rufflet strikes the Caterpie with one of his wings, sending it flying into a tree. He quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Pokemon, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"You did it, Lincoln!" said Shiloh. As Caterpie's pokeball teleports to storage, Lincoln looks up its information on his Rotom Phone.
"All right; Caterpie's a boy, he knows Tackle and String Shot, and he has the Shield Dust ability which protects him from the secondary effects of another Pokemon's attack." said Lincoln. He returns Rufflet to his pokeball and everyone continues walking towards Iki Town. Along the way, Lincoln captures a male Yungoos and Pikipek and they both transported to the Poke Pelago; they soon arrived at Iki Town. As they walked towards Kahuna Hala's home, they see the delivery truck that Lincoln saw earlier leaving, as well as a large crate on the front steps with Kahuna Hala looking at it.
"Alola, Lincoln." said Kahuna Hala when he sees him and the rest of his group approaching.
"Alola, Kahuna Hala." said Lincoln before looking at the crate. "Did you order something?"
"Actually, this package is for you." said Kahuna Hala.
"Me?" Lincoln replied. He looks at the shipping label and sees that the return address was his home back in Royal Woods.
"Is this from your family?" asked Shane.
"What did they send?" asked Shelby. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and calls his parents via video chat; a few seconds later, Rita answers.
"Hi, Lincoln." said Rita. Lincoln noticed that she had bags under her eyes, her hair was disheveled, and she looked very worried; he also notices that most of the rest of his family were pacing back and forth in the background with Lily being carried by an equally worried-looking Lynn Sr.
"Mom, what's going on?" asked Lincoln with concern.
"It's Junior." said Rita.
"She didn't hurt herself trying to jump the house on a bike propelled by fireworks again, did she?!" asked Lincoln with worry.
"No, she's missing!" said Rita. "She didn't come home last night and we're all very worried!" Lincoln then looks back at the package and a thought enters his mind.
"Mom; this might be related to what's going on right now but did you or someone at our house send me a giant care package?" asked Lincoln.
"Not that we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the fact that we knew you were doing just fine in Alola, but we didn't send any package." said Rita. Lincoln then pinches the bridge of his nose.
"Then I think I might know where Lynn is." said Lincoln with exasperation. He takes out his Torracat's pokeball and lets him out of it. "Torracat, use Double Kick to break that crate open." Torracat leaps at the crate and uses his hind legs to kick two corners of it, making a side fall over, revealing Lynn inside it with a red duffel bag, plus a sleeping bag on the floor, and boxes of protein bars and bottled water.
"Hey, bro!" said Lynn Jr as she runs over to Lincoln and wraps her arms around him in a very tight hug.
"Lynn, stop, I have internal organs!" said Lincoln. Lynn releases him after a few seconds.
"JUNIOR!" shouts Rita from Lincoln's Rotom Phone, making Lynn Jr look at the screen to see her mom with a very angry look on her face.
"Umm, hi, Mom." said Lynn Jr with a nervous look on her face.
"You mailed yourself to Alola?!" asked Lynn Sr as he and the rest of the Loud siblings who were still in Royal Woods look at her image with looks of disbelief on her face.
"Why would you do that?!" asked Lori.
"Let me guess; the Pokemon Battle Royale Tournament?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah." said Lynn Jr.
"Hey, cuz!" said Shane, making Lynn Jr look to see her cousins behind her.
"Hey, everyone!" said Lynn Jr as she runs over to them and does a group hug.
"I can't believe you would do something so reckless!" said Rita.
"Really, Mom?" Luan replied.
"Okay, not entirely; but it was still pretty reckless!" said Rita.
"We were all worried sick!" said Lynn Sr.
"I'm sorry." said Lynn Jr.
"What are we going to do now?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Looks like she's gonna be here for a while." said Lincoln.
"That's just great." said Rita with exasperation.
"I'm really sorry, but that Pokemon Battle Royale Tournament thing was something I couldn't resist getting in on." said Lynn Jr.
"I suppose that would be true." said Lynn Sr.
"So, you get to hang out with our cousins, and be on tropical beaches?!" asked Lola with disbelief.
"I guess so." said Lynn Jr.
"Where are you going to stay?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Well, we do have a couple extra beds in my home, Mr. Loud." said Kahuna Hala.
"There's that at least." said Lynn Sr.
"But we are going to have a serious talk with you later on, young lady." said Rita. She and Lynn Sr suddenly fall to the floor.
"Mom?! Dad?!" said Lincoln with concern. Lori's face suddenly appears on the screen.
"Don't worry, they're just asleep." said Lori. "They were up all night worrying about Lynn."
"Sorry." said Lynn Jr.
"Well, what's done is done." said Lori. "Just try not to do anymore crazy stuff while you're there."
"That's kind of a lot to ask out of her!" said Lola. After some more talking, the call ends.
"So, where is this Battle Royale Tournament taking place?" asked Lynn Jr.
"It's on Akala Island in a city called Royal Avenue." said Lincoln.
"Do you have any currency from where you're from with you?" asked Kahuna Hala. Lynn reaches into her pocket and pulls out a twenty-dollar bill.
"There's a place in Hau'oli City where you can exchange foreign currency." said Lincoln.
"Sweet." said Lynn Jr.
"And maybe you can use some of the pokedollars to enroll yourself in Pokemon School; if you're going to compete in the tournament, you need to know a lot about Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Good thinking." said Lynn Jr. She puts her twenty in her pocket; she then reaches into her duffel bag and pulls out four pokeballs. "I brought Crabrawler, Makuhita, Hawlucha, and Machop with me."
"Plan on using them in the tournament?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah." said Lynn Jr.
"Maybe you can find some others you can use also." suggested Lincoln.
"That would be great." said Lynn Jr.
"Let's head into the city and get your twenty exchanged." said Lincoln.
"Lead the way, bro." said Lynn Jr. The Louds, and Lincoln's friends, all start walking toward the city; while they were there, Lincoln shows Lynn around the city and shows her where the Pokemon Center was if she ever needed to heal her Pokemon.
Once Lynn gets her money exchanged for pokedollars, they head over to the Pokemon School and get Lynn enrolled there. As they all continue wandering the city, they run into Lance and Sharon who were surprised to see Lynn Jr in Alola and how she got there.
Lincoln then uses his Ride Pager to call a few Charizards to bring everyone to the Poke Pelago where he has Lynn shake the beanstalk on the Isle Abeens, making a lot of Poke Beans fall down from it, thanks to her superior strength.
Once that was done, they all return to Hau'oli City and introduce Lynn to the thrill of Sharpedo Riding.
"This is awesome!" shouts Lynn as she rides across the water.
"I know!" said Lincoln as he rides alongside her. They ride for about an hour before returning to the Sharpedo Riding rental spot and head home/back to their lodgings.
Later, after Lincoln and Lynn Jr ate, they call home and tell them about their day.
"We're glad that Junior's doing okay." said Rita.
"When are you going to sign up for that Battle Royale Tournament, Lynn?" asked Lana.
"Probably this Saturday." said Lincoln. "I'm planning on doing the Wela Volcano Park Island Trial, but I also plan on stopping by Royal Avenue before that so Lynn can sign up at the Battle Royale Dome so Lynn can register."
"And I plan on being ready for the tournament." said Lynn Jr.
"Work hard and learn as much as you can about Pokemon at the school." said Luna.
"I will." said Lynn Jr. After the call ends, everyone goes to bed to rest up for the next day.
