JAUNE
Ozpin scaled the elevator shaft of Beacon's once grand tower, the newly christened Fall Maiden Pyrrha following behind him as she floated up upon golden flames, carrying Nora and Ren up along with her.
Beacon Academy had been betrayed by one of their own, and the gates had been opened for a tide of Grimm to wash in. Now their walls were being battered and their occupants being slaughtered, and they needed to turn the tide as quickly as possible before any more of their friends and family were lost.
Ozpin just needed to reach his office. He had a Fall Maiden in his possession now, and that meant that he could freely access the Crown of Choice. As soon as he made sure that the relic was secure, then he could assist his students in turning the tide, and-
As soon as he reached the top of the elevator shaft and pried open the doors to his office, he spotted someone sitting in his chair...
Spinning in place and throwing his hands up with a quiet, "Weeeeeeeeeee-"
Then, he spotted Ozpin.
"Oh crap!" he then spun around to look out through the window, "Mwahahaha, I'm evil, I'm evil, I'm really really evil," he muttered to himself, before spinning around to face Ozpin, folding his hands together, and dropping his voice to go, "Hello..."
"...Mister Arc?" Ozpin asked, quiet as a mouse and as shocked as anything else, "Of all people... it was you behind all of this?"
"Ahaha, yes Ozpin!" Jaune rose from his seat giddily, "T'was I who brought about the fall of Beacon Academy! Mwahahaha! Look upon me and despair, fool, for it was the one whom you least expected to be the evil mastermind behind the fall of your kingdom!"

"We already knew."
Jaune blinked, paused, then looked at Pyrrha, "...What?"
"That you were evil," Pyrrha continued, "We already knew."
"What?"
"We already knew that you were evil."
"What?!"
"I'm sorry!"
"Seriously, you- what?!" Jaune looked positively angst, "You already knew!?"
"Yeah, like, we knew," Nora spoke up.
"From the start," Ren added.
"Wha- how?!" Jaune shook his arms wildly in confusion, "I was so secretive about it!"
"...Were you?" Nora asked, "'Cause it was obvious."
"It was obvious?"
"From the start."
"How!?"
"Well, I mean," Pyrrha began, "There was that time in the Emerald Forest where you were cuddling a Beowolf."
"How was I supposed to know that Mister Fluffles would follow me from the Grimmlands?"
"Or," added Ren, "That time that you brought a Seer to Beacon for Parents Day."
"That Grimm was tamed! If anything, I had to protect it from Blake for all people!"
"Okay, I'll admit, that girl's got some weird fantasies," Nora said, "But isn't that also the same Seer that you were using to call someone about taking over Beacon?"
"Nora, I told you to stop listening to my calls!"
"Look, let's not get into that right now, it's just-" Pyrrha sighed, "You're not very good at... well, hiding the fact that you're supposed to be... evil."
"Oi, I'm really evil! I-I'm super evil! I'm the evilest person in the world!" Jaune whined evilly.
"Well, yeah, but if that's the case, then why did you stop Cardin from bullying Velvet that one time... and then give Cardin a talk about how he can improve as a person?"
"Eh- well, it wouldn't do for an evil villain like myself to face heroes who are less than ideal now, would it?"
"Or that time that you let Ruby hug Mr Fluffles after she had a bad day?" Ren asked.
"Zwei was unavailable. Weiss was hugging him. Either that, or he was doing unspeakable things to Blake's pillow again."
"Or that time that you let me hug Mister Fluffles?"
"Nora, you were having a nightmare. Even if I'm evil, leaving you like that would just be cruel!"
"Our point exactly," Ren said, "Jaune, you might be trying to be... 'Evil', but you're just," he tried to find the right words, "Too nice to be evil?"
"Too nice? Hey, I'm- I can be mean," Jaune said petulantly, "I can be really mean."
"No you can't. You're like Pyrrha. You can't be mean. It's not in you," Pyrrha gave Ren an offended look at his comment. He didn't give her a response.
"No, I-"
"Say something mean."
"Wha- right now?" Jaune blinked, paused, and then said, "Er, I need- give me a moment, I need a moment..."
Pyrrha approached him, "...Need a-"
"Gimme a moment, you can't just put me on the spot like this..." Jaune waved her off before saying, "Er, Nora, you... you smell."
Nora blinked, "I smell?"
"Yeah."
She looked down, "Oh... I'm sad now."
"Wait, no," Jaune waved his arms at her, "I didn't mean- Nora I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I was just-"
She looked up with a smile, "Just kidding."
"Oh, you little- augh, I can't even be mad."
"That's kind of my point," Ren added, "You're not really evil, Jaune. You're way too nice for that."
"Yeah okay, I guess- wait, what about the Grimm attack outside!?" Jaune threw his hands out to the windows around them, "You know, the Grimm that are in Beacon. Attacking people. And probably killing them. Isn't that pretty evil?"
Pyrrha took a moment to pull out her scroll and dial a number, "Hello again, Ruby. How are you doing?"
"Oh, I'm doing pretty good. Mister Fluffles keeps licking me and- ack! I'm not a tasty treat, Mister Fluffles, you can stop licking my face!"
"You sound like you're having fun," Pyrrha smiled as Jaune looked away from her and his cheeks flushed red.
"Yeah, turns out Grimm make great pets when they're not trying to, y'know, murder you. Hey, is Jaune doing his whole evil scheme thing?"
"Yep," Pyrrha said as Jaune's head snapped at attention to her.
"Cool. Well, tell him to keep it up! I believe in him, and Mister Fluffles and Zwei are really cute when they're playing together!"
"I will, I will," Pyrrha said her goodbyes to Ruby and gave Jaune a look. Jaune looked away and rubbed his arm awkwardly.
"...I don't like killing things, okay?" he'd once stepped on a beetle and cried about it for twenty minutes, but he wasn't going to tell them that.
"Then, how did you wound the Fall Maiden?" Ren asked.
"Haha! Miss Amber Whatever-Your-Last-Name-Is, I am here to fight and defeat you!"
"You, a mere boy, think that you can best the power of the Fall Maiden? Come then, boy, and allow me to show you my true-"
Amber Whatever-Her-Last-Name-Is then slipped on a banana peel and fell face first onto the floor.
"...That explains the large forehead wound."
"Yeah- wait, how long has Ruby known that I'm evil?"
"...From the start," Nora added.
"...How many-"
"Everyone," Pyrrha answered.
"Everyone!?"
"Yep," clarified Ren.
"Was I really that easy to figure out?"
"You standing out in the middle of the rain that one time dressed in black and singing those Linked-In Park songs didn't help."
"I tried so hard and got so far!
"But in the end, it doesn't even matter!
"I had to fall to lose it all!
"But in the end, it doesn't even matter!"
Neon Katt looked away from the emo-looking boy standing out in the rain doing his best to be edgy (and failing) and asked, "Is he evil?"
"He's trying his best to be," answered Nora.
"Ah, makes sense."
"Oh..." Jaune looked down dejectedly, "Right... that... well now I just feel like an idiot."
"Oh, don't be like that," Nora used: reassurance! "Pyrrha thought it was cute!"
"Oh, well, thank you Pyrrha for that crippling blow to my self-esteem," it was super ineffective!
"I'm sorry!"
"I know..."
"...Do you... still want to go for the relic?" Ren asked him.
Jaune just sighed, "Well, not anymore."
"Oh come on, don't be like that-"
"No no no, I don't want this to be a pity thing, don't make this a pity thing-"
"No no no no, it's not a pity thing."
"It's kind of a pity thing," Nora shrugged. Ren and Pyrrha shot her a glare, but she remained unapologetic.
"Yeah, I figured, I gathered," he blew out another puff of air, "Just... really took the wind out of my sails, you guys did. Wow..." he put his hands to his side and looked around awkwardly, "Not really sure what to do now."
"...Do you want to go and get some Mistralian food?" Pyrrha asked.
"...Yeah, okay then."
Team JNPR then made for the elevator and called it up, revealing that the elevator had actually been working the entire time, and the forty-five minutes they'd spent scaling the elevator shaft had been ultimately pointless.
"Fearless leader, why didn't you include me in your evil plans?"
"I wanted to destroy Beacon, not the entire planet, Nora."
"Oh, you never know! I can be a great evil minion! I'm already cooking up a plan to swap around all the mustard and ketchup bottles in the school!"
"Ooh, that's a good one! That's a really evil one! You know what, I take it back, you guys would make great evil minions!"
"Aw, thank you!"
The door to the elevator closed, leaving a frozen Ozpin all alone in his office.
Ozpin, the immortal wizard and one of the most intelligent beings on the planet.
Ozpin, the only one in his entire academy who had been unaware of the fact that one of his students had been an evil villain.
"...I'm not very good at this job, am I?"
Later, Team JNPR would all begin to wear black clothes with (thankfully synthetic) feathers and eyeliner.
They would start their evil careers by collabing with Linked-In Park to produce an evil album and donate all their evil funds to charity.
How truly villainous.
