Q&A Part 2

"Naruto is too weak. Sage mode should have given more boost since he tapping ing with the aspects of green. So I am wondering what is the scale of powers for this fic? Could you clarify?"

Yeah, this is a HUGE hurdle, I knew I'd be dealing with later. Without giving too much away, when I first started writing this, I had no intention of giving Naruto access to green, but something else better suited for him. It wasn't until later when I got some PMs giving me some great ideas for the green that I changed my mind and decided to rewrite it.

The reason why Naruto's been getting constantly stomped is because I was trying to showcase how out of his element and league he's in. As I've mentioned before, half the titans could easily beat Naruto if they wanted to, especially Raven. When Sebastian took both Starfire and Kid Flash's powers, Naruto stood no chance and can't fully access the Green since he's in a whole new world and unfamiliar with it's nature energy, which is why his Sage Mode wasn't a strong as it should've been. He was also too afraid to use a little Kurama's chakra like Raven suggested, but remembered that if he were to use it, it would shorten his life.

But I'll admit, I probably should've touched up on that further as the fight progressed and not have his Sage Mode work at all. I was originally going to have Naruto win with the help of Beast Boy and Wonder Girl and have him summon Gamakichi, but the fight would've been too long and boring, plus his summoning jutsu probably wouldn't work since he's in a different world.

Hope this clears it up.

Earlier...

After exchanging crucial information, Raven, immobilized by Deathstroke's revelation, responded, "But that doesn't make any sense."

Deathstroke's voice was cold and unyielding, "Believe it or not, dear child, I don't care either way. Just know that the people of Konoha are in safe hands."

Raven's eyes narrowed, "I highly doubt it. You've only shared half the truth. You just don't want to give away too much in front of your group."

Deathstroke's team exchanged puzzled glances. "And what of you? I know for a fact you haven't been fully truthful with me either," Deathstroke shot back.

With a smirk, Raven replied, "Maybe… But you can never know with me, can you?"

Amused by her sass, Deathstroke signaled Shikamaru to proceed. "Shadow Strangle Jutsu!"

Shadows formed around Raven like sinister hands. Deathstroke's threat was chilling, "Now, unless you don't want to draw your final breath tonight, you'll tell me exactly what else you're hiding."

Raven remained silent, defiance in her eyes. Deathstroke wasn't surprised. He ordered his team, "Search her while she's still conscious."

A masked girl with a long white ponytail approached, placing her hand on Raven's head. Instantly, Raven grabbed her wrist, warning, "I wouldn't do that."

Shikamaru, shocked, exclaimed, "What the-!?"

Raven's body sank into the floor's shadow, reappearing behind Shikamaru, knocking him to the ground with a roundhouse kick. Deathstroke's group prepared to attack, with one of them transforming into a massive black ball, shouting, "HUMAN BOULDER!"

Raven teleported upstairs, leaving the human boulder to crash through a wall. As Deathstroke's group opened fire, Raven's forcefield, shaped like a raven, blocked the bullets. Suddenly, a knife appeared near her neck—Shikamaru's substitution jutsu. Deathstroke signaled his men to head upstairs.

Shikamaru demanded, "How do you know my name?"

"I know quite a bit about all of you through Naruto. Stand down, and I'll take you all to him." Raven said calmly.

Shikamaru raised a brow in confusion, "Who the heck is Naruto?"

Raven's eyes widened, realizing Deathstroke hasn't shared the whole story. "Story for another time, just know that we're on the same side."

Raven teleports without a trace.

The blonde girl from earlier sensed Raven on the roof, but Deathstroke ordered, "Let her go. We need her alive."

Confused, the girl stammered, "Then what was the point of attacking her?"

Deathstroke gave her a stern look, almost like a father giving their daughter a warning for talking back. Nervously, she giggled, "With all due respect."

Deathstroke replied, "I wanted to see how well you four would stand against her. Plus, I have years of pent-up aggression toward that emotionless bitch and her team."

The girl slumped down, realizing what that meant. "So, more training, right?"

Deathstroke confirmed, "You bet. Shikamaru, grab Choji and torch this place down. I want no trace left behind!"

"Roger…" Shikamaru responded.

As Raven prepared to leave, she heard Deathstroke call out, "Oh, and Raven, if you're still up there, watch your step!"

Noticing paper bombs scattered across the roof, but luckily, there's enough space between her and the bombs. Having pretty much wrapped up here, Raven opens a portal and returns to the tower's living room where she is soon joined by Cyborg.

Cyborg, visibly angered says-"Raven?"

Raven looks back at Cyborg, looking mighty clueless. "Did I miss anything?" She asked.

Present...

Beast Boy, still in snake form, was nearly speechless to see Raven. The two shared a smile.

"Hey," Beast Boy greeted.

Raven responded, "Hey, sorry I'm late."

"No problem, I actually had him on the ropes."

Raven smirked, "Sure you did… As much as I'm enjoying your smooth leathery skin, do you mind…?"

"Oh, right-right!" Beast Boy morphed back into his human form, standing beside Raven as they faced Sebastian, who looked exhausted. Eyeing the portal he left open earlier, he looked back at Raven, contemplating an escape.

"What's the matter?" Raven taunted. "You seemed ready to face me. Not planning on chickening out, are you?"

Sebastian nervously chuckled, but tried to put up a front, "Oh, I still got enough fuel in the tank."

Using his remaining speed from Kid Flash, Sebastian dashed toward the portal as it slowly began to close. Suddenly, he was grabbed by the head and slammed to the ground by a man dressed in dark red and yellow—the Flash had arrived.

"I'll take that," Flash said nonchalantly. Placing his palm on Sebastian's chest, electricity flowed through him. The now weakened Sebastian reverted to normal, with regular skin and hair. Flash stood, looking at Raven as if they hadn't seen each other for some time.

"Hey," Flash greeted.

"Hey," Raven replied.

As the stubborn Sebastian attempted to stand, Wonder Girl wrapped her lasso around him from behind, rendering him immobile. "What did you do to him?" she asked, confused.

"Kid Flash told me he stole some of his speed."

Flash explained, "Since he can't fully access the speed force, it was up for grabs when I absorbed it. It feels Nasty though...he's a nasty man…nastier than the original Brother Blood, if that makes sense."

Raven checked on the badly beaten Naruto, healing him as best as she could. "He'll live… Idiot," she muttered.

Beast Boy, confused, asked, "Him?"

Raven clarified, "Not you, him. Flash, have all the Hell Hogs and Moles been defeated?"

"Yep, every last one. Slayed each at every turn, literally," Flash confirmed.

"Good, have us transported to the Watchtower. Beast Boy, head to the tower and let everyone know what happened."

Beast Boy nodded, while Flash added, "I'll stay a little longer to help clean up."

Meanwhile...

Robin slowly opened his eyes to see Kid Flash waking him up, worried. "Tim!?"

"I'm good… I'm good," Robin reassured him, despite looking at the bloody mess with his suit in tatters..

Kid Flash sighed in relief and hugged the bruised Robin.

"And now I'm not…" Robin said, deadpan.

"What happened?" Kid Flash asked.

Robin replied, "One of Blood's guys gave me the beating of a lifetime and stole my bike."

Kid Flash slowly helped Robin to his feet. "What's the current situation?"

"To keep it simple, we won. Raven's back—THANK GOD. And Brother Blood's locked up at the Watchtower."

"Nice… And how's everyone else?" Robin asked, looking concerned.

Kid Flash looked down, the scene transitioning to outer space at the Watchtower.

Elsewhere...

Naruto awoke in the middle of the day, finding himself in a beautiful, futuristic area resembling a Middle Eastern paradise. Confused, he asked, "Now where did I end up?"

A familiar voice responded, "You're in the home world…or rather, a safer part of my mind."

Naruto turned to see Raven floating down towards him. "Welcome to Azaroth, one of Asura's many worlds he's visited."

"A-Asura!?" Naruto stammered, shocked.

At a loss for words, Naruto is not quite sure what's happening anymore, nearly on the verge of breaking down if he wasn't desperate to hear Raven elaborate further.
