I love this father/son relationship and am still in awe of Martha's choice of Gregory Harrison as Oliver's father. I can't imagine anyone else in the role. It is almost Christmas again, and as there is no new Christmas SSD, I am once again playing. I own nothing, and understand that I am an unworthy scribbler.

I need an SSD Christmas fix so I making my own. Of course, the characters all belong to the amazing Martha Williamson, but I must borrow them and give them a festive spin. This is not really a story, but rather a collection of very short stories all based around Christmas.

This series is a follow-up to Sentimental Moods and the third installment of the Contemplations Trilogy. Since we've arrived at the month of love, I thought it a perfect time to share my latest story. Pam C. wondered what, if anything, Shane said to Rita about the missing Valentines. This idea came to me back in October, and it's taken this long to bring it to fruition. I actually put it aside for a while, unsure how to pull it together.
