Tigracho: Oh, don't worry about your common. I was being sarcastic lol. Sorry. I think after the next two chapters we'll reach the half of the season. It probably won't be as long as GX. It's kind of funny how many people it took for Bragi to finally be released from his hold on the sins of his father. But what better people to do this than them, direct victims to Bragard II? It's really ironic. Noble Red made themselves into real monsters by their actions just because of how they looked. But Yomi became a monster out of his own volition. Like he said, there are monsters everywhere in the world, and all of them look just like everyday people. We'll go a little more in-depth about what he feels in the future. Reina and Amy came to understand what makes someone a monster the moment they met someone who is probably just as bad as Bragard. And Yomi destroying half of the district just to kill 1 person was overkill on his part.
I agree that Amy's death is a tragedy. Reina was doomed to die. Even if Amy didn't chase after her, Reina was going to die at Yomi's hands, but he wouldn't have gotten as strong as he did. They warned her to get away from him and go back home. But her loyalty was strong. Loyalty to the people that cared for her and considered her a friend. Family. So running away and leaving them to their own devices wasn't a choice in her mind. She wanted to repay them. Of course, she never expected to run into someone like Yomi. I think there is a parallel between her and Hibiki. Back in earlier seasons, Hibiki was hellbent on helping Tsubasa, Chris, etc. Even if her fusion with the Gungnir was killing her. Hajime stayed because he wanted to protect Hibiki. They look after each other like Noble Red does. They are similar, but they ended up in different directions.
Things aren't looking good, and they'll find out about the district being destroyed and Goro's father being dead soon.
primenidus: Unironically, he's one of the characters I based him off n.
Tenzalucard123: Yomi and Amy went all out but Yomi showed no mercy when he not only killed her, but half of a district in one attack. He's ready for Hajime, and it's almost time for them to fight.
nicksverino8: Yes, it's a bad situation that a lot of people suffered for. As for that reference...maybe. I'm not sure.
SoutaAmetsuchi: It's understandable. Despia, so far, is a victim. As is Wei. They're both being forced to go along with Hazuki's plans. Whicn for Wei, they seem good, since he wants his family back. For Despia it's a little different. But we'll see it soon.
Lord Ri The Husbu King: Yeah, XV is where all the disgusting people are. Yeah, the whole "we will revive everyone in the world" thing is pretty much Hazuki's propaganda to gain followers. I like Yotsuba. There are a couple of names that sound good like you said. For example Hajiki, Yotsuba, Migi, MariJade, Hamagiri, Kanakira, and your personal one. The others might need some work.
Nickseverino8: A lot of people died all because Yomi went wild. Innocent lives were lost for his desire to fight.
SoutaAmetsuchi: It's okay if you feel bad. Despia is kind of a victim. Like Wei. They're all there because they believe that they have no choice. Wei wants his family back and Despia...well, we will see.
Chapter 125
Rebirth of a Goddess
Angelo grabbed Alternative by the face, throwing him off him to the ground. They were outside of the city after Bragi had done his best to take the fight away from the Chateau de Tiffauges and the city so he could fight to his fullest. Furthermore, he was aware of Angelo's explosive power, and he knew he wouldn't hesitate to unleash his strongest attacks if they were in the city.
Alternative quickly recuperated, taking off into the air and scanning a card to his visor.
Sword Vent: Slashdagger
Alternative aimed his blade, spewing blue flames from the tip. Angelo rushed through the flames, his anger fueling his power and surprising Alternative. However, the punch stopped a few inches from his body, surprising the demon.
'I can't punch him! Why can't I reach him?!' Angelo growled when suddenly Alternative weaved out of the way and kicked him in the chest with a gravity-enhanced kick, launching him across the forest.'S-such strength! Why is he...?!'
Accel Vent
Suddenly, Alternative was in front of him, startling him. But he reacted and went for a swing. Once more, Alternative vanished, appearing behind him and kicking him into the sky. Alternative wasted no time and fired a black dagger from his magic circle. Using his gravitational abilities, he deleted the space between him and the dagger, teleporting in front of Angelo, conjuring a white orb in his hand and absorbing it into his fist.
Positive Harmony Karma Orb
He slammed his fist into Angelo's gut, releasing his orb that launched him into a mountain before it combusted, creating a powerful pushing force.
Taking a deep breath, Alternative landed on the ground, holding a thoughtful expression under his mask.
'I won't let the energy Damian and Garie got for me go to waste. I'll kill this motherfucker one way or another.' He clenched his fists in determination.'I'm the Prince...they entrusted this task to me...' He shifted his gaze to the horizon.'Miku-san...Don't worry. You're in good hands. Mama will for sure get you out of there...'
He then realized something very vital. Angelo was quiet. Too quiet.
He instinctively propelled himself into the air, narrowly avoiding a Dissect shot from afar.
'I knew it! He was biding his time!' Alternative saw Angelo's flames flaring up in the distance until suddenly he blasted himself at great speeds, surprising the hybrid. He stretched his left arm out before yelling."Repel!"
"Not this time!" Angelo was launched away, but he dug his claws into the ground, coming to a stop.
'He's holding himself in place by sinking his claws into the ground?' Alternative clicked his tongue.
Angelo clapped his hands before unleashing a fire breath from his mouth, spewing flames around and creating a cloud of smoke, and retrieved back into the forest.
'I won't let you get away!' Alternative conjured a black orb in his hand, hurling it into the sky.
Negative Discord Karma Orb
The orb began to pull everything in, from rocks to trees clearing all the surroundings of any possible hiding places as Alternative twirled it around.
"Now! Hellfire!" Angelo threw his giant sphere of fire from the sky, having returned to his normal form to avoid being seen. The Discord Orb attracted the Hellfire, making it combost and creating an explosion of fire that launched both combatants away.
Alternative dug his blade into the ground, mimicking what Angelo did, and slowly came to a stop.'He figured out a way to counter my Negative Discord Karma Orb...he fired his attack, making it explode when it touched it and breaking the gravitational balance of it.'
'Now's my chance!' Angelo appeared from behind Alternative, his left hand shining as he transformed back.'I'll make sure to kill you this time!'
"Dissect!"
However, this time, Alternative was more than prepared and pushed himself out of the range of the attack with gravity. The slash cut through the forest, leaving a giant hole. Realizing his attack failed, he went in for a punch to Alternative's face, successfully connecting it. But to his shock, Alternative was unperturbed."W-what?!"
"You had my sympathy. You truly did." Alternative grabbed Angelo's hand, squeezing it tight, causing him to wince."But the moment you started killing innocents...destroying the city...kidnapping my fucking Aunt and the girl that I love...That's when you crossed the line. You didn't want to be monsters? Congratulations. You did the exact opposite. You've gone too far...now you're going to be dealing with me."
Angelo groaned in pain when Bragi slammed his fist into his gut. He went to punch him, but his attacks weren't even affecting him Alternative anymore. Alternative slammed his fist in his gut, making him scream in pain, feeling the gravity of his fists make his organs rumble.
"You killed my friends...people that suffered at the hands of Bragard too...You became exactly what Bragard is. I am not the Second. I am my own person. And if you choose to keep blaming me for your misfortunes, I'm sorry. But I won't show you any more mercy." He slammed his fist into his gut again, knocking the wind out of him and forcing him on his knees.
Bragi tightened his grip on his hand, earning a pained howl from the demon."How many fucking people did you kill, huh?! And on top of that, you kidnapped our friends?!"
"Fuck you!" Angelo seethed."We're in this shit because of your damn father! He made us into this!"
"Wrong! You became monsters because you wanted to be monsters!" Bragi snapped back, clenched his hand harder, hearing his bones beginning to crack."You think you're monsters because of your appearance! You're monsters because of your actions! The people who are the true monsters are monsters because of what's inside of them! NOW WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO TO MIKU-SAN!?"
"I don't have to tell you shit! I'll fuck whack you one way or another!" Angelo's power began to flare up, his anger increasing his strength as he slowly stood up."We made it this far because we clawed our way out of that hell! Where the fuck were you, people?! Why didn't you save us?! Do you want to know why?! Because you can't save anyone! Your words, your songs, and your beliefs don't mean shit! YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELVES!"
Angelo slammed his claws into ALternative, launching him into the sky. He raised his hands into the sky, forming a ball of fire."I'm going to send you to hell where you belong, you devil!"
Alternative hissed, drawing a card from his Deck. A purple hat appeared on his head, similar to that of Carol's.
Alchemy Vent
The pseudo-Rider created a fire arrow with his hands."You wanted to fight?! Then you should have just asked! Miku-san, my Auntie, and Tobias had nothing to do with this! Much less Despia-san and Setsuna!"
"What? Despia? Setsuna? What the fuck are you saying?" Angelo shook his head."We only kidnapped the two alchemists and your woman! No one else!"
"Huh? What do you-"
"But it's not like it matters! You die here! Hellfire!"
"Fire Arrow!"
Both fighters shot their respective fire attacks at each other, but the moment the arrow touched the sphere, it pushed it back, overpowering it. Angelo's eyes shot wide open, jumping out of the way as the fire arrow destroyed his attack, creating a huge explosion of fire that decimated the area they were in.
The demon boy groaned, having been launched several kilometers away by the shockwave of the attack. Suddenly, he saw a black void forming underneath him as he felt tremendous pressure on him, making him fall to the ground.
Zone Vent: Gravitational Dead Zone
"Set it to 10," Bragi said, standing up straight despite the gravity. He had learned to increase his own gravity inside of his Zone Vent to a certain degree, making him able to withstand gravity 10 times that of the earth."It's over. I was going easy on you before. All of us were. Because we felt bad. But now, things are different. My friends believe in me. My subjects believe in me. And my Mama believes in me. I will kill you right here and now and save Miku-san."
"Don't think so, buddy..." Angelo's power began to swell, his anger once more increasing his power as he began to stand up, holding his left arm out slowly."My Dissect bypasses abilities...meaning it's immune to this gravity zone you have created. You can stand straight, but I bet you're not as fast as you normally are. So you won't dodge it. You dug your own grave, DEVIL! DISSECT!"
Suddenly, Angelo felt the gravity return to normal. Bragin had condensed his Zone Vent into a sphere, chucking it in his direction.
Perfect Sphere
The Perfect Sphere made contact with the Dissect, and unlike before, the attack completely negated the slash, stunning Angelo.
'I-impossible! That's impossible!'
The sphere grazed his body, disintegrating his left arm as he howled in pain, his body unable to maintain his transformation and returning to normal.
"H-how...how can this be...?" Angelo moaned in agony, blood gushing out of his wound as he watched Alternative walk over to him.
"Your left hand shoots Dissect while your right arm shoots Sever. The left hand can bypass abilities, like you said. Which is how you managed to get me last time. But without that, the only thing left to fear is your Relic. The Satan Relic, which becomes stronger the angrier you become due to its Conceptual properties. This fight...is over-"
A flash of light in the distance followed by a loud thunderclap caught Bragi's attention. He noticed a huge cloud where the city was, unleashing a huge lightning strike that could be seen from miles on it.
"What...That came from the city...What's going on...?"
He heard something break from behind him, and noticed Angelo's body disappearing after breaking a vial."Fuck!"
He shook his head. Angelo was missing an arm and beaten. He was the least of his concerns. He took off into the air as high as he could to get a view of the city. Even hundreds of kilometers away, he could see a giant hole and half of the district destroyed.
'What?! What happened over there?!" Bragi immediately flew back to the city as fast as he could.'Please...Everyone, be safe!'
A few minutes back, Raia and P. Knight continued circling the city. Knight in his bike and Raia on top of Exodiver.
"Hey! How long do you intend to keep running?!" Raia cried out.
"As long as I need to!" Psykos hollered back.
Raia clicked his tongue in annoyance.'I was hoping he would take me to a secluded place to fight or something. But this bastard has been making me chase him around the city twice now!'
The stingray-themed Rider glanced at their surroundings, realizing they were on the highway on the outskirts of the city and all the civilians that were around earlier were gone.'I guess this is the best place to fight. I have to get him out of Yosuke-san and now!'
Shoot Vent: Exo Arrows - Type Explosive
Raia created two explosive arrows, taking him with his visor and shooting them in front of P. Knight, blowing up the road in front of him and causing him to fall to the ground. Knight landed on the ground, and Metal Darkraider disappeared.
"Y-you piece of shit..." P. Knight gritted his teeth."Better be careful where you attack, Raiden! You don't want to hurt your friend, do you?"
"Yosuke-san calls me by my last name." Raia narrowed his eyes at him."Can't even bother to act like him anymore, do you? Besides, my brother told you already. Yosuke-san can take more punishment than this. Or...could it be you feel the pain? You said you are attached to his brain after all."
"Who knows? Why don't you find out!"
Shoot Vent: Darkarrow
His visor went into crossbow mode, aiming at Raia and firing wind arrows at him. Exodiver flew around, allowing Raia to shoot psychic arrows to counter.
"You're pretty good. Let's see how you do with this!" Psykos released liquid metal from his hand, creating several large metal harpoons. He continued shooting wind arrows as metal tendrils emerged from his back, grabbing the harpoons and chucking them toward Raia.
"Shit!" Raia bent his back, narrowly avoiding having his face impaled. Exodiver's tail started shooting psychic beams, preventing Raia from being hit by the harpoons.
"I'm getting sick and tired of you flying away like a little bitch! How about we get close and personal?!" P. Knight laughed, drawing a card from his Deck and activating it.
Tempest Vent
Creating a whirling, Knight began sucking everything in the vicinity into the wind. Raia lost his footing as Exodiver was abruptly pulled away from him, landing on the ground.
"Now, let's see how you do on the ground, Chikage!" A gust of wind shot Knight over to Raia, drawing his Darkblade from his visor.
"C-Chikage...?" Raia was stunned upon hearing his former surname, allowing Knight to slash his chest, sending him staggering against a wall. Knight stretched out his hand, creating a pillar of silver and attempting to crush Raia to death. The brunette rolled out of the way and rushed over to Knight, winding his bow before shooting a psychic arrow.
Knight weaved his head out of the way, raising his knee to block Raia's punch, quickly responding by punching him in the neck, prompting him to start coughing as he rubbed his neck. The parasite went for a thrust in an attempt to stab him, but Raia held the blade under his armpit and headbutted Knight. The parasite stumbled back, chuckling.
"You can't beat me. You're weaker than Yosuke. Way weaker." P. Knight taunted him, kicking his leg and forcing him on one knee before kicking him in the face, sending him skidding on the ground."You're a dumbass. Staying behind. You do realize that Yosuke is the third strongest of your team, right? And where are you? Barely above your little sisters and that stupid shark kid."
"Yosuke-san...he said we'd have to surpass him...because he wants us to be ready..." Raia began to sit up, conjuring several more psychic arrows. He shot them toward Knight, forcing him to jump back. This gave him the opportunity he needed to open up his visor, sliding a card in.
Sword Vent: Exoblade
"Heh! Finally, eh?!" P. Knight created a silver antenna from his head, lashing it out at Raia, who parried it with his blade. However, the antenna wrapped itself around the boy's torso, hurling him across the area and into another bridge.
Sword Vent: Darklancer
P. Knight leaped into the air, a piece of himself separating from his body, and created 3 rings of silver that quickly became platinum."Platinum Rings!"
The rings chased after Raia, forcing him to parry one off the with his blade, but leaving him exposed to the other two. He kicked the ground to launch himself into the sky, feeling one of the rings cut the back of his thigh.
"Where are you going?! We're just getting started!"
Raia was slashed against his torso by Knight, who had followed him up to the sky. He retaliated by attempting to stab him, but the Rider kicked his hand to change the trajectory of the attack before winding his fist back for a punch. To his surprise, Raia blocked the punch with his forearm, grabbing Knight by the head and moving him to his right, where one of the rings was coming.
"What?!" Knight quickly made the ring stop, uppercutting Raia and kicking him back to the ground."Are you insane?! Were you trying to kill him?!"
"Yosuke-san...would want me to put an end to his life if it means preventing his body from being used to hurt people." Raia used his sword to help himself up."So I have no choice to but kill him. So I can stop you."
"You're bluffing." Psykos chuckled."You wouldn't dare to kill your friend like that. You just want to scare me, don't you?"
"Try me," Raia said in a serious tone.
Without another word, Raia rushed toward Knight, once more trying to fight him on equal grounds. Knight chuckled, parrying his attacks with his lance with ease. He went for a horizontal kick, but Raia bucked his knees to dodge it. He attempted to punch his back, but Knight quickly blocked it with his elbow before turning on his heels and punched him across the face. However, Raia delivered a swift back-kick to the side of Knight's head, taking advantage of the momentum created by the punch he received. Psykos stumbled back, and Raia chased after him stabbing his blade into his armor, piercing through it and drawing some blood. The parasite fell to the ground, stunned.
Raia went for a follow-up, but P. Knight shot platinum from his head, sending him flying and crashing to the ground.
"Y-you...Are you out of your mind?!" Knight screamed, watching blood dripping down the wound on his chest."You're hurting your friend! Not me!"
"That's fine with me." Raia drew a card from his Deck."I'm going to kill Yosuke-san. As long as that means killing you, then he'll understand when I see him in the new life!"
Combining his homing and explosive-type arrows, he created 6 arrows and shot them toward Knight.
The parasite panicked, immediately activating another card.
Guard Vent: Darkcape
Using his cape, he covered himself in a black tornado, but the explosion destroyed it and blasted him rolling several yards away.
Final Vent: Psycho Dive
Exodiver descended from the sky, transforming into his bike mode as Raia mounted him.
"Oh, fuck!" Knight quickly opened his visor, activating a card as Raia shot a psychic beam, preventing him from moving.
Blust Vent: Dark Tornado
Metal Darkraider flew in front of the incoming attack as he spread his wings, activating his turbines and creating a powerful gust of wind that destabilized the bike, making Raia fall to the ground.
However, in a rush of pure adrenaline, Raia kicked the ground and recuperated his footing, using his momentum to lunge at the surprised Knight.
'This psychopath is trying to kill me! He's trying to kill his friend!' Knight was finally able to move, but Raia threw himself against him, pinning him down.
"YOSUKE-SAN! I'M SORRY!" Raia slammed his fist into Knight's helmet with all of his strength. The helmet began to crack as the boy released a mighty roar, launching Knight away like a sack of potatoes, his helmet breaking into pieces. He crashed against a wall, knocking the wind out of him and falling on his knees.
Raia coughed up blood, feeling something bursting inside due the taking such an intense fall at high speeds and his previous damage.'Ah...Elfnein is going to be worried when she sees me...'
Raiden drew a card from his Deck, grimacing.' Alright...It's all or nothing...We're going all the way, Yosuke-san...'
'I understimated this brat...! I didn't think he'd have it in him to kill his friend!' Psykos was panicking, feeling his host's condition. 'He's damaged this body because I got careless! Yosuke Yanagi...did you plan for this?! Did you know they wouldn't hesitate to kill you!" He began to crawl away, trying to gain some distance while his body recuperated, but it was cut short when Raia shot his arrows.
Knight screamed in pain when he felt two arrows pierced through his hands. Before he could do anything else, Raia sat on his back, pinning him down and holding an arrow shining in red in his right hand."T-that's-!"
"An explosive arrow. As soon as I release it, it'll blow us up both to hell."
"ARE YOU INSANE?! YOU'LL KILL US ALL!" Psykos screamed in horror."YOU'LL DIE TOO, IDIOT!"
"That's completely fine with me. I...don't think I could live on killing someone close to me like this..." Raia said in a somber tone, sending chills down Psykos' spine."So...I'll die too. But that's fine with me. The others are going to stop your friends. And I...as a Kamen Rider, will do what I can for my friend. So...I'M SORRY YOSUKE-SAN!"
"Oh, fuck!" P. Knight quickly opened his mouth, vomiting platinum liquid that took the shape of a small slug with green eyes.'Fuck! I can't outrun the explo-'
The arrow exploded, releasing confetti in the air, much to Psykos' confusion."Huh...?"
"This...was a special card designed for me by Bragi." Raiden said with a dry chuckle."The plan was to make it look like I was going to kill Yosuke-san, even if it involved hurting him, so I could lure you to evacuate his body...Because you don't want to die, right?"
"Y-you trickster! You tricked me!" Psykos sneered in his larva form. He was about to scream again when he noticed the pair of yellow eyes from his former host glaring at him, right into his soul. He couldn't even move because Yosuke grabbed him with his hand, squeezing him hard.
"So this is what you look like..." Yosuke's voice was low and emotionless yet so full of venom."You look disgusting, you worm. Crawling around looking for people to leech off of."
"W-wait! Please! I don't want to die!" Psykos cried to squirm out of his hand but had no luck. He felt the Rider squeeze as hard as he could, his eyes popping out of his pockets as he screamed."I DON'T WANT TO DIE! I DON'T WANT-"
Psykos was crushed to death, his screams ending in an instant. Yosuke dropped his body on the floor before he began stomping on him, crushing him before recognition, leaving him as nothing but paste on the ground.
"Yosuke-san!" Raia beamed upon seeing his friend's hair color return to normal and hearing his voice again."It's so good to have you back!"
Yosuke slowly reached for his head as all the information that Psykos had processed inside of his body came to him in an instant.
"Watch closely, Yosuke Yanagi." He recalled Psykos' words as he slaughtered all those people back in the stadium, watching it as if he was the one who did it."And engrave this moment into your memory as you mercilessly kill these people!"
Yosuke threw up on the ground, falling to his knees.
"Y-Yosuke-san!" Raia rushed to his side."Are you alright?! It's okay, you're safe now-'
"I KILLED THEM!" Yosuke screamed, getting back to his feet, backpedaling while he shook his head."I KILLED THEM ALL! WITH MY OWN TWO HANDS! ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE! FAMILIES, FRIENDS, LOVERS! I KILLED THEM ALL! I VOWED TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE AND I KILLED THEM!"
"Yosuke-san!" Raia grabbed him as he collapsed."Yosuke-san!"
"I...I can hear their screams...It's like I was murdering them myself...all their blood...is in my hands..." Yosuke began to sob in his arms."I couldn't stop it...I couldn't...I hurt so many people...without being able to do anything..."
"Yosuke-san...Listen...you're...not okay right now...Let's get you back to HQ..." He spoke to him softly, rubbing his back. Suddenly, a bright flash of light appeared out of nowhere, followed by a loud explosive sound like a thunderclap. Raia saw a huge explosion from their side of the district, rapidly growing in size. He opened up his visor, slid a card in, and carried Knight over his shoulder.
Advent: Exodiver
Raia jumped on top of Exodiver."FULL SPEED! DON'T STOP!
Exodiver obliged, accelerating as fast as he could as the explosion began to close in on them. Raia saw countess people below, running for their lives, only to be caught in the blast.'I'm sorry...I can't save you...!'
His monster began to shake violently, prompting Raia to look behind him as everything turned white as the part of the district they were in was completely obliterated from existence.
"EVERYONE RUN!" Vanessa shouted, grabbing Elsa by the collar of her shirt and dragging her along before Carol's Graviton End. Millaarc barely made it out as the explosion shook the whole Chateau, leaving a huge hole where the attack was chucked.
"Wow...Carol is amazing..." Tobias marbled, taking cover with Garie far away from the fight."I can see why she ruled with an iron fist."
"Oh, I know." Garie smiled, brushing his hair.
"Carol, I didn't know you could do that." Elfnein said from inside of her head."I thought only Bragi could."
"It's a simple attack if you understand the fundamentals." Carol scoffed."His is only stronger because of the properties of his Alchemy. But anyone can do that. It just happens that's his specialty. Speaking of Bragi..." The older blonde folded her arms under her chest."You spoil him too much. You have to be strict and direct with him, otherwise he starts doing whatever he wants. And we both know happened."
"That may be so, but he's a good boy, Carol." Elfnein smiled."He's come through when we needed him the most. Sure, he's a little rough around the edges, but that's because he's still learning about the world. Hopefully, you can guide him better than I can."
"I doubt it. But for now, he's showing some initiative by taking a pain in the ass away from here." Carol conceited."Now, it's time to finish the job over here."
"Wait, Carol!"
"What?!" Carol hissed.
"You promised Bragi-chan you'd rescue Miku-san!"
Carol sighed, rubbing her temples."How irritating. But you are right. I did say I was going to rescue his little girlfriend. He'll have to tell me about that as well."
"Why? Do you not want him to have a girlfriend?" Elfnein teased, making Carol blush.
"Because he needs my permission before he does anything like that. I fear more for that girl's safety than his own. He has no idea about romance." Carol grumbled, turning on her heels and making her way over to Garie and Tobias.
"Do you think they're coming back, Carol?" Garie asked, holding her child close to her.
"Probably. People like them are hard to deal with because once you take away their reason to fight, they have no further purpose." Carol said."They'll try to make a last stand. But not for now. As for the two of you, stay close to me. It's too dangerous to go outside of that ugly thing attacking everyone in sight. You're not in the condition to make a run for it with him in your arms."
"That is true..." Garia lamented, fearing for her child's safety."So what should we do?"
"For the time being, follow me." Carol paused, closing her eyes."We'll give them a proper burial. To all of them. Damian, Zeke, Phara, Leiur, Lulu, and Micha."
Silently, Carol led the way, Garie following behind holding Tobias in her arms.
"How is it, Garie?" Carol asked, surprising the Autoscorer.
"How is...what?"
"Being a mother." Carol elaborated."How does it feel? How do you do it? I used to think I knew all there was to know about the world 6 months ago. But now...I feel like this is something entirely new to me. I know I didn't exactly... gave birth to him. Or raised him. Elfnein did. And even then, he was never a baby. But...I'm not Elfnein, as you can probably tell."
"Carol, it's not like I knew either..." Elfnein sighed."It was hard for me too. It still is."
Garie seemed to ponder on her question for a bit before answering."Well, there's one thing I learned, and that's that having children doesn't come with a manual. When we had Tobias, it was like...I guess the best way to put it is like this. We felt like we discovered something new. Beyond our understanding."
"Beyond your understanding?"
"At the time, all we knew was the stuff we did for a living. I danced and Damian was a knight. Neither of our professions was connected to raising a child. So...it was trial and error. We learned and became better over time. It involved some sleepless nights here and there, but..." Garie smiled warmly, kissing Tobias on the forehead."It was all worth it. It became second nature. Just follow your heart, Carol. You're a lot smarter than any of us are. If anyone can figure out how to raise a kid, it's you. Then again...I guess it's a lot different when they're a little older...You know, back then it was different. But I believe teenagers nowadays are a little...overbearing."
"Tch. You're telling me." Carol snorted."I just wake up and the first thing I see him do is throw himself into danger head first. Then all the shit he pulled back against Adam. And now on top of that, he's in love? It's like all the years he's supposed to have been hitting me all at once."
Elfnein giggled, much to Carol's irritation.
"And on top of that, Elfnein keeps spoiling him. I'm going to have to set him straight. So he doesn't end up like me or Bragard..." She muttered, reminiscing of Bragard.
"Okay, so what's the plan again?" Chris asked, staring at Hajime with skeptical eyes.
"We're going to bomb them from above." He reiterated."Like, the second we transform, we'll go into Abyssal Dragon and try to end it in one attack."
"Okay..." Maria arched a brow."Do you think it can work?"
"Hell yeah, it will." Hamaguchi grinned."Just gotta hit it really-"
"Don't say hit it really hard." Tsubasa sighed in exasperation.
"Maybe...if we hit it...really hard-"
Tsubasa glared.
"Together?"
The bluenette sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose."I suppose that can work."
"Cool! You're the best, Tsubasa-san!" The male bluenette gave her a peace sign.
"Just make sure you don't do anything reckless-desu." Kirika grabbed his hand, giving him a stern glare."Blacky-kun, look after him please."
"Sure thing."
"K-Kirika...! You're making me look like a clutz!"
"We have an incoming wall from within the Chateau!"
"Must be Elfnein-kun again." Genjuro nodded."Patch her through."
To their bewilderment, the one who was on the other side of the screen was none other than Carol. While they looked almost the same, the eyes were a clear giveaway. Not to mention the wardrobe.
"C-Carol?!" Everyone gasped.
"Carol Malus Dienheim..." Genjuro was speechless."How...?"
"I'll explain." Carol raised her hand."Before that, Elfnein has been using dubious machinery to tinker with their cerebral storage. Long story short, it awaken me. And if you're wondering where she is, don't worry. We merely switched places for the time being."
"W-what about the others?" Hajime asked."The Autoscorers and Dienheim?"
"By Dienheim you mean my son, right, Hajime Adachi?" She raised a brow."You'll have to specify which Dienheim you refer to. He has my last name. At the moment, my impetuous child is taking care of one of the members of Noble Red. As for the others..."
"They're gone...aren't they?"
"Just Garie survived." Carol nodded."I can't let her take Tobias away from here, since it's dangerous to go outside. For now, they're accompanying me to rescue Kohinata Miku."
"And we're to come help you. Right?" He arched a brow, knowing where this was going.
"How perceptive. I expect nothing less from you, Messiah." Carol said in a derisive tone."What's wrong? Don't think you can take on that ugly thing outside?"
"No problem. I'd worry about yourself if I were you." Hajime scoffed."Don't think I've forgiven you for what you pulled before you Bragard."
"I don't think that's any way to talk to your aunt, kid."
"A-aunt?!" Hajime toook a step back."W-w-w-what do you mean?!"
"Seeing as how Bragard is your ancestor, and Bragi is his direct son, that makes me your ancestor as well. Your aunt. And I expect to receive the respect I deserve."
"Ohohoho! What's up with the Liangs and their ancestry?" Hamaguchi nudged him in the ribs playfully."Hey, by the way. Since you and Elfnein share a body, does that mean you and Raiden are also-"
"Can we please stay on topic?!" Maria groaned in exasperation before addressing the Alchemist."What do you need us to do? Just kill that thing?"
"That's right. The Messiah should be able to do it, due to his Divine properties." Carol continued."In the meantime, we will rescue the girl who has the potential to become the vessel. But, in case you can't, there is another possibility."
"Which is?" Genjuro asked.
"We'll use the Chateau de Tiffauges." She explained."Phonic Gain. I'm sure you can figure out the rest. I doubt your limited brains can't lead you to that conclusion."
"Sheez, she's Bragi's mom, alright." Chris clicked her tongue."Are the Dienheims all arrogant? Or is it the Hyperions?"
"Probably both," Shirabe muttered from next to her.
"But will that really work?" Hajime pressed, hoping for her to clear up their doubts.
"It's not guaranteed to work, but do we have another choice? Of course, this is only the backup plan. So if you can do it, then we'll be fine. Anyway, do try to hurry. I'll do things on my end here." She said, ending the call.
"Alright, fuck this. Let's go!" Hajime made his way for the door.
"H-Hajime-chan, what's gotten into you all of a sudden?" The pinkette inquired, taken aback by his demeanor.
"I'm not about to lose to the mother and son duo. I'll never hear the end of it, and for sure Dienheim is going to bring it up until the end of times." Hajime raised his fist."So let's show them that we can do it!"
"Did you really have to egg them on like that?" Elfnein sighed at Carol's antics.
"I need them motivated." Carol shrugged, making her way to the bracelet, manifesting some gold magic circles."Is there better motivation than mockery?"
"So that thing outside..." Garie approached the blonde."What is it?"
"It's merely a cluster of energy intended to be transferred to this vessel via the ritual." She answered.
"A-are you saying that thing will go inside of Miku-san...?!" Tobias asked, horrified."C-can't we just take her off the altar?"
"It could lead to her death." Carol shut down the idea."We must follow the proper procedure for shutting down the ritual."
"How unfitting of you, Carol Malus Dienheim." Tobias' left eye turned silver."I was not aware that you had a kind side. I'm glad."
"Thor..." Carol clicked her tongue."Don't misunderstand. This is all so those fools can be indebted to me."
"Are you sure it's not because your son begged you for your help?"
"Go back to sleep, damn it!" Carol snapped as Tobias took control of his body again.
A loud explosion from behind caught Carol's attention, and she turned on her heels. Nightmare entered through the hole in the wall, his mask concealing any sort of emotion he could have.
"Garie, Tobias, behind me." Carol narrowed her eyes, taking firm steps toward the newcomer."Who may you be?"
Nightmare said nothing, remaining completely unmoving.
"Not one for words, huh?" Carol opened up a gold magic circle, shooting a ball of energy."That's fine with me."
Nightmare opened a black magic circle, shooting a ball of dark matter, canceling her attack.
"That's...Broken Alchemy..." Carol's eyes shot wide open."But how...?! Only Bragard and Bragi should have that...!"
The masked man, created a dark arm, extending it toward Carol and grabbing her wrist before pulling her forward and slamming her through the wall into an open space.
"Carol!" Garie cried out in concern.
Carol slowly sat up, grimacing as Nightmare came into the clear area as well, two arms of dark matter floating by his side.
"I suppose...this won't be as easy as I thought..." The blonde Alchemist snarled.
"Alright! Is everyone ready?!" Tsubasa asked everyone on board the helicopter.
"Yes!" They all cheered in unison.
"Alright! Let's get Kohinata and the others back safely! Adachi! Kuroiwa! You're up!"
"Ready, partner?!" Hamaguchi held his fist up, which Hajime gladly returned, giving him a fist bump.
"Let's give them hell!"
"Not before a good luck kiss!" Hamaguchi grabbed Kirika by her scarf and pulled her in for a passionate kiss that lasted a few seconds."See you later, Little Reaper."
"H-Hamaguchi-Eek!" Kirika yelped when he slapped her butt with a wink."PERVERT!"
"You love it!" The boy winked once more before jumping off the helicopter with Hajime. Both boys pulled out their Decks and slid them into their V-Buckles."Henshin!"

In unison, Dragreder and Abyssodon appeared and began twirling around their Riders, a circle of energy allowing them to go through one end and come out as Abyssal Dragon, wielding a chainsaw for a sword.

Out of nowhere, a creature similar to Dragkaiser appeared, clad in purple armor, wielding a serrated blade in its hands and various snakeheads protruding from its back.
"W-what?!" Abyssal Dragon clashed blades with Lifesbane, creating a powerful shockwave.
"Who is that?!" Chris narrowed her eyes.
"Well, well. So you came at last." Came the voice of Ryuga from within the dragon.
"We knew you'd try something like this." Ouja joined in."Unfortunately, we can't let you kill this thing."
"They can create something like Abyssal Dragon too?" Shirabe bit her lower lip.
"I suppose it's only natural...Given how Ryuga is also a Messiah." Maria scowled, noticing the absence of a certain person."Wait! Ryuga?! Why is Ryuga here?! What happened to Jades?!"
"Relax." Ryuga responded."We never fought. I was never to be his opponent."
"And what does that mean-Wait a second..." Kirika gasped."Where is Teru-nii?! Why isn't he here with you?!"
"We promised Kuwana-san we'd let him have his battle to the death against his brother." Ryuga supplied."So don't worry. We won't interfere in any way. We made a vow with Kuwana-san. Whether he wins or not, it's up to him. If he wins, great, if he doesn't, that's fine too. But if you want me to be honest...I highly doubt he can win. Tiger has too much going for him in terms of speed and agility. As well as the ultimate slash. Even with the ultimate shield and ultimate spear, Kuwana-san may find himself overwhelmed."
"I thought you needed him alive!" Ryuki pointed out.
"And we do. However, this is a promise. But regardless, let's leave them alone for now. You guys believe in your friends...so let's see how much your beliefs can go!"
Lifesbane lunged toward Abyssal Dragon, grabbing it by its face and throwing him to the mountain cliff. The dragon opened its mouth as did the dark dragon, both of them shooting flames point blank, creating an explosion.
"WHERE ARE SETSUNA AND DESPIA?!"
Lifesbane rocketed toward the sky, its snakeheads opening their mouths before shooting poison beams toward Abyssal Dragon. The blue dragon responded by bombarding the beams with torpedos as it charged a beam of water and fire, shooting it at the black dragon.
"Sorry. That's classified information."
"I guess plan B it is." Tsubasa clicked her tongue, shifting her gaze to Maria."Maria..."
"I know. I know..." Maria nodded, making her mission her top priority."Kirika, and Shirabe, we have a part to play. Let's make it count."
Both girls nodded as they prepared themselves for their Swan Songs

Meanwhile, the dragons continued clashing in the air as lightning struck the skies.
'What's going on? Why isn't the Chateau responding?!' Ryuki gritted his teeth.'At this rate, they'll...!'
"So this was your new attempt? Using their Swang Songs?" Lifesbane chukled."Is this because you two couldn't do it? Must suck to be low on Riders."
"Like you're one to talk!" Abyssal Dragon revved his chainsaws, swinging them down from both sides. The snakeheads stretched, wrapping themselves around his arms, stopping him."WHERE IS MY SISTER, HAZUKI?!"
"She's my sister too!"
Suddenly, the cocoon stirred, locking onto the multicolored ball containing the girls.
"Hajime! Shem-Ha is on the move!" Hamaguchi cried out. The cocoon created a beam of energy, shooting it straight at the Gear users. However, Abyssal Dragon countered with a ball of fire and water, shooting the attack away.
However, the cocoon prepared to attack once more, and before Abyssal Dragon could make another move, Lifesbane grabbed him and slammed him to the ground, pinning him down.
But then, the unthinkable happened. A burst of energy emerged from the Chateau, tainting the skies in gold for a moment.
"What?! What happened?!" Ryuga asked.
"Must be Carol." Ouja guessed."She must be fighting Nightmare right about now."
Abyssal Dragon's tail wrapped around Lifesbane's neck, throwing him away."It's too late! They did it!"
"They...did it?" Lifesbane glanced up toward the sky, noticing 5 lights shining brightly.
Immediately, the cocoon went on the offensive, but this time, the girls were more than prepared to fight it. Kirika and Shirabe were able to slash it, while Shirabe slammed a giant yo-yo to it. Maria and Chris performed a combination attack, bombarding it with an energy cannon that bypassed its defenses, leaving it a burning mess. But as they expected, it was able to regenerate, or rather, make the damage null. By sacrificing a different version of itself from a parallel world, it was able to mend its wounds.
"It's useless," Lifesbane said, disappearing and revealing Ryuga and Ouja in their respective Surfive forms. Ryuki and Abyss returned to normal as well, as all 4 Riders landed on the ground.
"They can't kill Shem-Ha. Not without Divine Power or a Divine Weapon. Meaning that as long as we keep you occupied here, they'll never be able to do anything."
"I wouldn't be so sure." Ryuki pointed toward the sky. A lone missile was making its way toward them through the intense thunderstorm. The missile pod popped open, revealing Hibiki in all of her glory.
"The Godslayer..." Ryuga breathed."I should have known."
"What point is there in wielding a Symphogear if I can't even save a single friend?!" Hibiki roared, her thrusters igniting and accelerating her speed to avoid Shem-Ha's attacks. The other girls joined in, taking the hits for Hibiki as she got closer and closer, turning on her Amalgam as she raced toward the monster.
A loud thunderclap was heard through the entire area, a pillar of energy shaking the ground beneath them.
"What's going on?!" Abyss cried out, glancing at the pillar of lightning from the distance.
"It's the end. And the beginning." Ryuga smirked under his helmet, his left eye turning gold as he switched with Loki."It's done."
"Done? What's done?"
Suddenly, the giant cocoon exploded in a burst of particles, revealing Miku wearing a black dress. In a flash of purple light, she was now clad in the Faust Robe version of her Shenshoujing.
"M-Miku...?" Hibiki
"No. My name is Shem-Ha, the one worshipped by mankind as the god of this planet." Shem-ha's cold voice was a total contrast to Miku's."Remember it well, human scum."
