Chapter 1: Prologue
A group of seagulls soared above the vast ocean, heading towards a grand fortress surrounded by a multitude of homes and windmills. Numerous gondolas were whizzing about on intricate wires connecting various castles in the region. This realm, renowned as the convergence point of myriad worlds, stood as the central hub for Keyblade Wielders, known by the name Scala Ad Caelum.
Within one of the immense fortresses, two youngsters stood gazing out a window after a chess match. One, with pale skin and black hair fastened in a short, stylish knot with loose strands cascading over his right cheek, was clad in a white and red haori featuring a hood, matched with light-hued hakama. The other sported a light tan complexion and silver hair draping down to his shoulders. He donned a black vest with a high neck, long arm coverings enveloping his forearms, and dark grey pants tucked into sturdy boots.
The young lad with silver streaks in his hair shifted his gaze back to the chessboard, where a white piece stood victoriously over a fallen black counterpart. His companion followed his gaze to the board, only to be struck by a sudden realization.
"Oh, right!"
Swiftly, he plucked the white piece and reinstated the defeated black piece, prompting the silver-haired boy to look on with intrigue.
"What's this?" He inquired as his companion cheerfuly redistributed the ebony pieces to the rightful spots on his side of the board.
"I heard about this new game." Chimed by the
"I stumbled upon a fascinating new concept," chimed the dark-haired lad, beaming with anticipation as he arranged the components on his end.
As he finished setting up the pieces, a sense of satisfaction and eagerness washed over him. Meanwhile, the silver-haired lad surveyed the objects before him, a quizzical expression playing on his face. He couldn't quite fathom what was transpiring in his friend's mind.
"Seven black pieces... and?" he probed, casting a questioning glance at the dark-haired boy opposite him.
"I'll delve into that later. But first, I have a question for you," the dark-haired boy responded, beginning to position the white pieces on his side of the board.
"Go on."
"Have you ever ventured into the Realm where neither Light nor Darkness belongs, but only it exists on the other side?"
The young lad with a mane of silver pondered with a hand beneath his chin, eventually dismissing the query with a nonchalant shrug. "Nope, never been there," he replied.
"So was I. But there exists a mysterious realm rumored to be imaginary by many, but in reality, it transcends beyond our world, attracting those aligned with Light or Darkness. Even skilled Keyblade Masters are intrigued by its enigmatic nature and the implications it holds for curious explorers."
The silver-haired young man expressed his fascination with a chuckle, stating, "It was very intriguing and tempts me to embark on a journey to that destination. It would be a missed opportunity not to partake in the enrichment offered by the exploration of these extraordinary realms."
"Well, good luck with that finding that world, and better you hope finding a way back here, then." the other boy snickered.
"What do you mean?"
"It was, but finding a way back to this realm is not going to be easy. As such, it can be rewarding or punishing for Keyblade wielders who try to find that realm. Unless our universe discovers that they broke the taboo, this includes us, despite the fact that it only cares for Kingdom Hearts."
"That doesn't sound good. Is there a way to solve that case?"
"Huh, good point. But rumors said that the only way to get you out of there was to solve every mystery while traveling to that world. That may or may not give you a clue about how you will be able to get back," as the black-haired boy replied.
"Or..."
"Or what?"
"...Or, you can still rely on others while you're waiting for them to pick you up." as he finished his sentence with a sneer on his face.
"Hey! That's not nice," the other boy exclaimed at what the other said to him.
"Hey, it sounds pretty humiliating for a Keyblade wielder like him to do that, right, Xehanort?"
The boy named Xehanort sighed with disappointment as the other finished his sentence before he smiled a bit. "Heh, very funny. Say, you're pretty good at picking up things you're interested in, Eraqus."
The othet boy named Eraqus scratched his cheeks in embarrassment. "No, not really... I just end up picking those things up from the others while having my own time, after all. These might only be a speculation of others or it just be a theory, maybe?"
"Maybe... So, I wonder how these worlds are made?" The white-haired boy asked.
"Another good point, Xehanort. Some speculate that the world was made by a single person, whether it was a wish or created by itself, while others contradict that it was made by that realm alone and not someone."
"Whoever said that the world was made by a wish needs to read those several reports straight to the general direction, rather than thinking of something else more dumb."
"...Nah..."
Silent ensures the area, but in all sudden...
"...Hahahahahaha..." As two boys suddenly laugh at each other about the word Xehanort mentioned before, they both sigh and calm down.
"Ahh Xehanort, you're good at making these joke so far."
"Ehh, It was nothing, Eraqus."
"It is, but likewise I've said to you before, in other words: Light holds hidden depths beyond perception..." as Eraqus said with a grin on his face.
"I know..." Xehanort smiled with amusement before crossing his arms just before he stroked his chin with a hand while staring again at the horizon. "Huh, I wonder if that Lost Master will know that those kinds of worlds from the other realm really do exist at all? Maybe I should tell him one day after I cross paths with him someday..." Xehanort said to himself in thoughts.
"Uhhh... is something wrong, Xehanort?" the other boy asked him while he noticed his friend thinking of something.
"Oh. It was nothing... However, that's an interesting subject to think about, that's for sure. You could use it as a wisdom or an entertainment of sorts, for when you become a Keyblade Master." as Xehanort said while breaking out of his thoughtful trance before his friend, Eraqus.
"Thanks, Xehanort. But now..." Eraqus replied back before he flashed back with a determined smirk and looked down at the chessboard, already done placing his pieces. "Are you ready for this new game?"
The boy named Xehanort turned to the chessboard and he saw the white pieces on his friend's side.
"Six... white pieces, that's an interesting part."
"Or seven, don't forget this one" as Eraqus said as he showed his last white piece in his hand.
"Heh, now were even." Xehanort smiled at
And oh, speaking of a new game, it was not very easy for you to play it, not even for myself, until now.
"Just tell me, how does the new game work?" Xehanort asked him, on how.
...
"...Only one way to find out..." As Eraqus said before placing a white piece in his hand at the chessboard.
...
Power is something that shouldn't be abused.
I learned that the hard way.
But I have no regrets, even if we're not together anymore.
Because in my heart, we'll always be together, no matter what.

Lost Princess Arc Image:
This image shows Sora staring at the horizon at the seaside with a Papou Fruit in his mouth. What Sora holds in both hands is a Kingdom Key keyblade in his right hand and a Royal Blade, Pecorine's sword, in his left hand. Moreover, on top of Sora's head is a gold headband with a white and gold flower and a ruby gem, but on the left side of his head is a rose whose color is similar to the Oblivion keyblade, wrapped by thorns.
And so, Sora's new tale in the world known as Astrum was soon to begin...
Kingdom Hearts: Re Dive
Author's Note: I have to admit, the next chapter is going to be longer than I expected. However, I have read the reviews you sent me, pointing out mistakes like the author and the work called Kingdom Hearts Grand Order from the first page, and more. This has led me to re-upload the chapter. So, it's okay; many authors like me are prone to errors before publishing a story.
But, some reviews said that Sora will suffer amnesia before entering Astrum, the answer... No, only in later arc. But his strength, it still remains intact after his fight against Yozora, thankfully some of his moveset will soon return and you will familiarize it... and that was from the previous Kingdom Hearts game before 3 and ReMind.
But, I gess some of you believe that Sora will be a Keyblade Master?... a big fat, NO. Why, ask Ameth-sama, she'll know what Sora only excels at despite his OP battle prowess, and that is...
Sorry, that line was cut short, so thank you and good day...
