Hano Grand Resort and Hano Beach
After Maxiley had his Vaporeon and Crabrawler healed at the Konikoni City Pokemon Center, the group went to Kahuna Olivia's jewelry store where Maxiley is going to pick up his Z-Ring and Rockium-Z he earned from Kahuna Olivia after defeating her in a Pokemon Battle. Later, inside the store, the group were inside while Kahuna Olivia was walking down a flight of stairs, holding a brown Z-Ring with a Rockium-Z in it.
"Here you go, Maxiley." said Kahuna Olivia, holding out the Z-Ring to Maxiley.
"Thanks, Kahuna Hala." said Maxiley, taking the Z-Ring and putting it on. "Fits great."
"I'm pleased to hear that." said Kahuna Olivia. "Well, I got to return to the Ruins of Life in case there are other trial goers waiting there to challenge me."
"Very well." said Edd. Kahuna Olivia then leaves the store.
"Well, gang; shall we get going to Ula'ula Island?" asked Eddy.
"Hold it, Eddy; we did promise that man from this Aether Foundation we'd meet him at this Hano Grand Resort after we completed our Grand Trials." said Edd.
"Fine." replied Eddy. "So where is this place?"
"Just east of Heahea City." said Maxiley. The group leave the jewelry store and soon left Konikoni City. After walking through Diglett's Tunnel, they arrived in Heahea City. They travelled east; after crossing a bridge, they find themselves looking at a big building. "Here we are; Hano Grand Resort, the biggest resort in the Alola Region; a five star one as a matter of fact."
"Really?!" replied Eddy, excitedly.
"Yeah, but I heard this place is already booked in advanced for a year." said Maxiley. Eddy groans in disappointment.
"Oh well; we came here to meet that man from the Aether Foundation anyway." said Edd.
"Fine; let's find him then." said Eddy. The group walks to the resort building and entered. Once inside, the group look around, admiring the interior. As they admired the indoor fountain, they hear someone calling out to them.
"Alola." They look to see the man from the Aether Foundation, waving at them. "So, you've come at last." The group walk over to the group.
"Alola, sir." said Edd.
"Forgive me, I have yet to introduce myself." said the man. "You may call me Faba."
"Alola, Faba." said Edd.
"I told you all before I would show you someplace astounding, right?" asked the man, now identified as Faba.
"I recall you mentioning it." replied Edd.
"That wondrous place is Aether Paradise." replied Faba. "It is a variable paradise for Pokemon that floats far out in the sea surrounding Alola. It is an artificial island made by human technology for the protecting of Pokemon."
"Intriguing." said Edd.
"I am an adult who keeps his promises, so I will prove to you that all I've told you is the truth with a tour of Aether's Paradise." said Faba. "Will you come?"
"Sure." said Ed.
"This place sounds very interesting." said Edd.
"Excellent. When you're ready, we will go onboard my boat and I will bring you all there." said Faba. He walks away.
"So, any of you want to do anything before we leave Akala Island?" asked Edd.
"Hano Beach is nearby; we can go there." said Maxiley.
"Yeah!" replied Sarah.
"I suppose our Pokemon deserve to relax after their battles with Kahuna Olivia." said Edd.
"Oh boy!" said Ed.
"Let's hit the beach!" said Eddy. Moments later, the group arrive at Hano Beach in their swimming attire; Maxiley wore blue swim trunks with a green pokeball design on them. They released their Pokemon from their pokeballs. "Okay, everyone; go enjoy youselves."
"Yes. You've worked so hard; you deserve a break." said Edd. Their water Pokemon went into the ocean and swam around, while the other Pokemon relaxed on the sand.
"Come on, Maxiley, let's go make a sandcastle." said Sarah, grabbing Maxiley by the arm.
"Uh, sure." said Maxiley, blushing. He and Sarah run to the shore. Jimmy takes his Ride Pager out of his backpack.
"I'm going for a ride on Lapras." said Jimmy. He runs to the ocean. Eddy turned towards Ed and Edd.
"So, what do you want to do first, boys?" asked Eddy.
"Alola, guys." a familiar voice calls out to them. They turn to see Mallow, wearing a light green, two-piece swimsuit with orange flower patterns on it, walking over to them. Ed's eyes widen and his mouth drops open.
"What brings you here?" asked Eddy.
"Just thought I spend some time here at the beach." said Mallow. She then walks to Ed. "Would you like to go swimming with me, Ed?"
"Yeah!" said Ed. He picks up Mallow in his arms, and runs to the ocean, laughing.
"Ed, I can walk." said Mallow in an amused tone. Edd and Eddy also watched with amused looks on their faces. Everyone spends the day hanging out at the beach, swimming and playing.
Ed and Mallow were swimming underwater side by side. Ed looks at Mallow and smiles at her; Mallow does the same with Ed.
Jimmy was riding around on his Ride Lapras when he sees something shining in the water. He climbs down onto the bottom of Lapras' shell and reaches into the water to grab what he saw and pulls it out, revealing what appeared to be three pearls attached to each other.
"I wonder what this is." said Jimmy. A part of the sea begins bubbling. Jimmy looks to see a small black Pokemon with six pink spikes on its back. (Pyukumuku) "What is that? I wish I had the Rotom Dex with me. I'll try to catch it any. Wishiwashi!" Wishiwashi swims over to Jimmy. "Help me catch this Pokemon." Wishiwashi's Schooling ability activates, turning him into his School Form. He and the other Pokemon face each other. "Use Feint Attack!" Wishiwashi swims around the Pokemon and then towards it; the Pokemon glows white and its body shines before Wishiwashi rams it, knocking it back. "Feint Attack, once more!" Wishiwashi swims to the side of the Pokemon and vanishes. The Pokemon looks around when Wishiwashi appears on the other side of it and rams it. As it weakly tries to swim away, Jimmy takes out his remaining Dive Ball and throws it at the Pokemon, hitting it, and sucking it in. The Dive Ball wiggles around and clicks, indicating the Pokemon's capture. "Yay! I caught a new Pokemon." The Dive Ball vanishes. "When I see Double D, I'll ask him to use the Rotom Dex to find out what that Pokemon is." He looks at Wishiwashi. "Good work, Wishiwashi; you can go back to your relaxing swim." Wishiwashi returns to his regular form and swims away.
Back at the beach, Eddy was just lying on the beach, working on his tan.
"Man, can it get better than this?" Eddy asked himself.
"Alola, Eddy." said a female voice. Eddy lifts up his sunglasses and looks to where the voice was coming from and blushes when he sees Tanya in a one-piece, yellow swimsuit.
"T-Tanya." stammered Eddy with a blush on his face. Tanya giggles as she lies down next to Eddy and drapes one of her arms across his torso, making Eddy's blush intensify.
"Mind if I join you?" asked Tanya.
"I don't mind." said Eddy. Tanya smiles before giving Eddy a kiss on the cheek, making his body freeze up. Eddy's friends watch and chuckle at the sight.
"I'll bet Eddy would love to move here." said Sarah.
"I wouldn't blame him." said Edd. "Fame, fortune, a girl that genuinely likes him; I can't see a reason Eddy wouldn't want to live here."
"Alola, Double-D." said a female voice that Edd easily recognized. He turns and blushes when he sees Lillie standing behind him, wearing a light blue, two-piece, swimsuit with seashell frills.
"Oh my." said Edd as he stares at Lillie.
"Mind if I hang out with you?" asked Lillie with a blush.
"Not at all." said Edd as he shyfully looks away. 'I can think of some good reasons for me to want to stay here as well.'
Meanwhile, out on the ocean; Eddy's brother was starting to lose his cool after all the unfortunate incidents that happened to him over the length of his trip.
"If I don't get to Alola soon, I'm gonna go crazy!" said Eddy's brother with exasperation. The boat suddenly jolts a little bit, making him fall overboard...again. As Eddy's brother splashes around trying to keep afloat, he feels something wrap around his leg, making it suddenly go numb. A life presever hits him on the head and he grabs onto it. When he's pulled out of the water, he sees some sort of a pink creature with a round head that had a crown-shaped tuft coming out of the top of it, and five tentacle-like appendages with two of them wrapped around his leg. "What is this thing?!"
"That's a Frillish." said one of the fishermen.
"A what?" replied Eddy's brother.
"It's a water-type Pokemon. We must be almost to the Alola Region." said the fisherman.
"Finally!" said Eddy's brother. He pulls the Frillish off his leg and tosses it back into the ocean, making his hands go numb in the process.
Back on Hano Beach, everyone was packing up their beach stuff. Jimmy walks to Edd.
"Double D, I caught a new Pokemon out in the ocean, but I don't know what it is." said Jimmy.
"I'll check the Rotom Dex, Jimmy." said Edd. He takes out the Rotom Dex from his backpack and uses it to look up the Pokemon Jimmy captured. "It seems you caught a Pyukumuku, Jimmy. It's a water type, it's a boy, he knows Baton Pass, Water Sport, Mud Sport, Harden, Bide, Helping Hand, Taunt, Safeguard, Counter, and Purify. It has the Inards Out ability."
"Eww, what does that do?" asked Sarah.
"It causes damage to the Pokemon that knocks it out." replied Edd.
"Like Skuntank's Aftermath ability?" asked Ed.
"Precisely." said Edd. Jimmy then takes the three attached pearls out of his trunks pocket.
"Do you know what this is, Double D?" asked Jimmy.
"Why, that's a Pearl String." replied Edd. "That can be sold in a PokeMart for fifteen thousand pokedollars."
"Wow!" said Jimmy. Before Tanya left, she goes over to Eddy, grabs the sides of his head, and kisses him on the lips, making him blush.
"See you around sometime, Eddy." said Tanya as she winks at Eddy and runs off, leaving him in a stunned daze.
"I said this the day we got here and I'm saying it again; I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE!" said Eddy. Ed and Mallow look at Eddy, then at each other; they looked away, blushing, then looked back at each other. They leaned towards each other until their lips pressed against each other. Sarah watches with glee as she watches Ed and Mallow kiss.
"I don't want to leave Alola either." Ed thinks to himself. "Ooh, echo! My name is Ed!" He and Mallow soon broke their kiss.
"I hope you come back to Akala Island someday, Ed." said Mallow.
"Me too." said Ed. Unbeknownst to the others, Edd and Lillie were holding hands.
