Necrozma
The group faced Necrozma as it loomed over them.
"So, how are we going to this Pokemon down if we don't even know what type it is?" asked Eddy.
"I guess we'll have to do what we did with that Ultra Beast back at Aether Paradise." replied Edd.
"You mean use different types of attacks on it until we find one that's strong against it?" asked Sarah.
"Precisely." said Edd.
"Let's do it!" said Eddy as he lets out his Incineroar. "I'll see if fire or dark type moves will work!"
"I'll use Decidueye!" said Ed as he tosses his pokeball, letting his starter Alola Pokemon out.
"I shall use Primarina!" said Edd as he lets his Alola starter out.
"I'll use Lucario!" said Jimmy as he lets out his first Pokemon.
"I'll use Blissey!" said Sarah.
"I'll use Tyranitar!" said Maxiley as he lets out his rock/dark type Pokemon.
"Let's get it!" said Eddy.
"Primarina, please use Hydro Pump!" said Edd. Primarina releases a powerful torrent of water that hits Necrozma. "Water attacks don't do super effective damage, but Necrozma doesn't seem to be resistant to them."
"Decidueye, use Leaf Blade!" said Ed. The edge of the wing on one of Decidueye's wing glows green; he flies at Necrozma and slashes it with his wing.
"Grass type moves seems to do neither super effective damage to Necrozma; but it also doesn't seem to be resistant to them." said Edd.
"Incineroar, use Flamethrower!" said Eddy. Incineroar releases a stream of flame that hits Necrozma. "Fire moves don't do much of little to it either."
"Blissey, I hate to do this, but use Double-Edge!" said Sarah. Blissey leaps at Necrozma, but she goes right through it.
"Normal type moves have no effect; it must be a ghost type, or at least part ghost." said Edd. "Dark type moves and ghost types should work against it!"
"Tyranitar, use Crunch!" said Maxiley. His Tyranitar runs at Necrozma and bites down hard on it, dealing super effective damage, and lowering its defense. "That did some damage!"
Just then, Necrozma creates a blue force field around itself and fires a beam of energy from it that hits the group's Pokemon; doing regular damage to Lucario and Primarina, not so effective damage to Incineroar and Tyranitar, super effective damage to Decidueye, but had no effect on Blissey.
"That must've been a ghost type move!" said Edd.
"Lucario, use Metal Sound!" said Jimmy. Lucario clangs his wrist spikes together, making a sound that makes Necrozma cringe.
"Incineroar, use Darkest Lariat!" said Eddy. Incineroar spins towards Necrozma while dark energy coats his claws and he strikes it, dealing super effective damage.
"Primarina, use Moonblast!" said Edd. His Primarina forms a pink ball of energy in her flippers and flings it at Necrozma, hitting it.
"Decidueye, use Spirit Shackle!" said Ed. Decidueye pulls out an arrow quill from his wing and it becomes surrounded by a shadowy aura; he fires it at Necrozma, hitting it, and dealing super effective damage to it.
"Since normal type moves won't work on Necrozma; Blissey, use Blizzard!" said Sarah. Blissey releases a blizzard from her mouth and it hits Necrozma, hitting it, and dealing damage.
"Tyranitar, use Dark Pulse!" said Maxiley. Tyranitar fires a beam of dark energy rings from his mouth that hits Necrozma, dealing super effective damage. and knocking it to the ground.
"It's on the ropes now!" said Eddy.
Suddenly, Necrozma gets up and lets out a loud yell, making a wormhole appear below it; Necrozma starts going down into it. Lillie runs towards it, but the wormhole vanishes, along with Necrozma. As Lillie looks down at the spot the wormhole was, it suddenly got dark.
"Hey; who turned off the sun?" asked Eddy. Everyone looks up and sees a circle of purple aura in the sky; Dulse and Zossie run to the altar.
"What are they doing here?" asked Maxiley.
"Necrozma; the one that wields light to its will; it would steal all of Alola's light." said Dulse.
"Necrozma wants to take back the light that it once lost." said Zossie.
"But what are we going to do now?" asked Lillie. "It seemed to me like that beast, like Necrozma was also suffering somehow; it seemed to hurt it, to be without its light."
"You would worry even for Necrozma?" asked Lusamine. "You are too kind, Lillie; far too kind."
"What is wrong with that?" asked Edd.
"That is why she took Cosmog in the first place." said Lusamine, turning towards Lillie. "You foolish, sweet child."
"She is not foolish!" exclaimed Edd. Lusamine turned towards Zossie and Dulse.
"We need your help." said Lusamine. "We need to be able to travel between worlds using the Legendary Pokemon's power, just as you were able to do."
"You presume much; and despite that, it is true you are trying to take care of things in your own way." said Dulse. "Should I praise your sense of responsibility as charge with the protection of Pokemon? You egotistical woman!"
"Please, Captain Dulse; leave it be." said Zossie. Dulse turned towards Lusamine.
"It is as my subordinate says; sparring with you now will change nothing." said Dulse. "And there is something I am more interested in pursuing; something I noticed during the battle just now." He turned towards the Eds group. "Necrozma seemed distracted by you; by those Z-Rings you wear, to be perfectly accurate." The group look at their Z-Rings. "It seemed to desire the light given off by those Sparkling Stones set within them.
"You mean it wants Z-Crystals?!" asked Guzma.
"It's true; the Eds, Sarah, Jimmy, and Maxiley have an awfully large number of Z-Crystals after coming so far in their island challenges."
"Yeah, it's true; even more than the dumb captains and kahunas and all, who just focus on one type." said Guzma.
"Captain Mallow is not dumb!" exclaimed Ed. "Take that back!"
"Make me." replied Guzma. Ed walks to Guzma, grabs him by the shirt, and lifts him above his head with one hand. "Whoa! Okay,okay, I'm sorry; put me down."
"Yeah, Ed; this chump's not worth it." said Eddy. Ed lets out a sigh and sets Guzma back on his feet.
"Man; I heard you Eds are strong trainers, but not that kind of strong." said Guzma.
"That's nothing; Ed can lift up entire houses." said Eddy.
"Wow!" said Maxiley.
"It is not in our power to fight with Solgaleo." said Zossie. "But we do borrow its power to travel through the Ultra Wormholes; you have shown up what you are capable of, though, by summoning Lunala to this place. Perhaps you can all ride upon our Solgaleo, just as you ride upon Pokemon in Alola."
"We call it the Ultra Warp Ride." said Dulse.
"Cool." said Ed.
"If you hope to follow after Necrozma, you must make for the white warp hole." said Dulse. "If you enter any other wormhole, you will find yourself in another world altogether."
"Would you Eds like to use Solgaleo's power to try to reach the white warp hole." asked Zossie.
"Yeah; if we don't stop Necrozma, it might do something that'll cancel the Alola League." said Eddy.
"And the Junior's Division!" said Jimmy.
"The Mask Royal's tournament, too." said Maxiley.
"Very well; Solgaleo! Aid us!" said Zossie. A large, white, lionlike Pokemon with an orange and gold trim appears from behind them.
"Wow!" said Sarah.
"It looks so majestic." said Jimmy. Solgaleo jumps up and a ball of fire surrounds it; Solgaleo fires a beam of fire at the altar, hitting it, and making a wormhole appear. It lands near the Eds and tosses them on its back.
"Hey, what the...?" said Eddy. Solgaleo jumps into the wormhole with the Eds in tow.
"Be careful, Double D." said Lillie.
"You too, big brother." said Sarah.
"You better come back, Eddy; I want another rematch with you!" exclaimed Guzma.
Will the Eds be able to stop Necrozma? Wait and find out.
