Shady House
After the group entered the Shady House, they looked around.
"So, where do you think they're keeping the Pokemon, guys?" asked Ed.
"Not sure; we'll have to look around." replied Maxiley.
"And if any of you see that Guzma jerk, let me know." said Eddy. "If he wants to battle me, I'll give him one." They were suddenly approached by a member of Team Skull.
"What are you kids doing here?!" asked the Team Skull member.
"We're here for the Pokemon you cads stole!" replied Edd. The Team Skull member pulls out a pokeball.
"If you're looking for Pokemon, I got one right here." said the Team Skull member. He tosses the pokeball, releasing a Drowzee.
"I'll take this goon on." said Maxiley as he pulls out a pokeball. "Trevenant, go!" He tosses Trevenant's pokeball and releases her. "Trevenant, Shadow Claw!" Black energy surrounded Treventant's right hand, and she claws Drowzee; because of the Spell Tag, Trevenant was holding, Shadow Claw was stronger than it normally was, and it knocks Drowzee out.
"What?!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Way to show that punk whose boss." said Eddy. The Team Skull member returned Drowzee to its pokeball; he tosses pokedollars at Maxiley and stomps away. Edd sees a door nearby.
"Let's check in there, fellows." said Edd. They were suddenly approached by a female Team Skull member.
"Hold it right there, runts!" said the Team Skull member.
"Are the kidnapped Pokemon in there?" asked Edd.
"Maybe, maybe not; why don't you try to get past me and find out!" said the Team Star member as she takes out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing a Salandit.
"I'll battle her." said Jimmy. He steps forward and tosses a pokeball, releasing his Butterfree.
"Bad move, kid." said the Team Skull member. "Salandit has advantages over a bug type."
"I believe in my Pokemon!" said Jimmy. "Butterfree, use Confusion!" Butterfree releases psychic waves from his eyes that hit the Salandit, doing super effective damage; it starts staggering around clumsily.
"Salandit's confused!" said Edd.
"Salandit, use Ember!" said the Team Skull member. The Salandit opens its mouth to try attacking, but it misfires and hurts itself.
"Butterfree, use Psybeam!" said Jimmy. Butterfree fires off a beam of psychic energy from his wings that hit Salandit, doing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"No way!" shouts the Team Skull member.
"Nice one, Jimmy!" said Eddy. The Team Skull member glares as she returns her Salandit to its pokeball; she then pulls out another one off her waist and throws it, releasing a Fomantis.
"Butterfree, use Silver Wind!" said Jimmy. Butterfree releases a gust of glittering, silver wind at the Fomantis, hitting it, and doing enough super effective damage to it to knock it out.
"Come on!" shouts the Team Skull member.
"Way to go, Jimmy!" shouts Ed. The Team Skull member returns her Fomantis to its pokeball.
"You're lucky that your Butterfree is stronger than my Pokemon." said the Team Skull member as she tosses Jimmy pokedollars and runs off. After Jimmy picks the money up off the floor and returns Butterfree to his pokeball, they look in the room, but don't see any of the Pokemon from the Aether House; but they do see another female Team Skull member who also sees them.
"You kids looking for something?" asked the Team Skull member.
"Yeah; the Pokemon you stole!" exclaimed Ed, storming towards the Team Skull member, who pulls out a pokeball.
"I don't have any stolen Pokemon on me, but I have this one; Trubbish, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing the pokeball and releasing a Trubbish. Ed pulls out a pokeball.
"Flareon, go!" said Ed, throwing Flareon's pokeball and releasing her. "Flareon, Fire Fang!" Flareon jumps at Trubbish while her mouth was covered in fire and she bites Trubbish, damaging it; it becomes covered in fire.
"Trubbish is burned." said Edd.
"Trubbish, Sludge Bomb!" said the Team Skull member. Trubbish fires a brown ball of sludge out of its mouth at Flareon.
"Dodge it!" said Ed. Flareon jumps up, avoiding Sludge Bomb. Trubbish winces in pain from its burn. "Now use Tackle!" Flareon lands on the ground and charges at Trubbish, ramming it, and knocking it out. "Good job, Flareon." The Team Skull member returned Trubbish to its pokeball and pulls out another one.
"Houndour, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a Houndour.
"Flareon, Tail Whip!" said Ed. Flareon runs at Houndour and wags her tail onto it, weakening its defense.
"Houdnour, Feint Attack!" said the Team Skull member. Houndour jumps to the side and disappears; it appeared next to Flareon and rams her, knocking her back.
"Flareon, Covet!" said Ed. Flareon runs at Houndour and strikes it with her paw, knocking it out.
"No way!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Way to go, big brother!" cheered Sarah. The Team Skull member returned Houndour to its pokeball; she tosses pokedollars to Ed and turns towards a corner of the room. After Ed returned Flareon to her pokeball, the group leave the room. They continued searching the first floor but couldn't find anything.
"I don't think the Pokemon are on this floor, guys." said Maxiley.
"Let's check the next floor then." said Eddy. The others nod and run up a flight of stairs until they reached the next floor, encountering another Team Skull member.
"Sorry, kiddies, but the playroom's downstairs." said the Team Skull member, approaching the group.
"We're not here to play, stupid; we're here for the Pokemon you guys stole!" exclaimed Sarah, pulling out a pokeball.
"Someone's gotta teach you not to mess with grown-ups, squirts." replied the Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball. "Scraggy, go!" He tosses the pokeball and releases a bipedal, yellow and cream colored, lizardlike Pokemon.
"What is that?" asked Edd, pulling out the Rotom Pokedex and pointing it at the Pokemon.
"Scraggy, the Shedding Pokemon. It stretches its saggy skin up to its neck to protect itself. The saggier their skin, the more respect they garner." said the Rotom Pokedex.
"Go, Ledian!" said Sarah, throwing Ledian's pokeball and releasing her. "Use Mach Punch!" Ledian flies at Scraggy and punches it across the face, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Scraggy, Chip Away!" said the Team Skull member. Scraggy repeatedly strikes Leidan with its hands, knocking her back.
"Air Slash!" said Sarah. Ledian flaps her wings, releasing circular saw blade like energy blades at Scraggy, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"I can't believe it; beaten by a little girl!" exclaimed the Team Skull member; he returns Scraggy to its pokeball.
"You were great, Sarah." said Maxiley. The Team Skull member gives Sarah pokedollars and runs off. Sarah returns Ledian to her pokeball; she and the others walk to a room and walk inside.
"See any Pokemon?" asked Eddy, looking around.
"No, but I see trouble." said Edd as he points at two female Team Skull members who were approaching them.
"Are you the brats causing trouble in our crib?" asked one of the Team Skull members.
"What of it?" replied Eddy.
"We're gonna have to teach you some manners!" said the other Team Skull member. One of them takes out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing a Ratatta.
"I'll handle this." said Eddy as he takes out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing his Poliwrath. "Poliwrath, hit it with Brick Break!" said Eddy. Poliwrath brings up one of his hands and swings it down onto the Ratatta, hitting it, and doing lots of super effective damage to it, knocking it out; the Team Skull member could only stare in shock.
"I don't believe it." said the Team Skull member. "Taken down in one hit!"
"What did you expect?" asked Maxiley. "He is the Lily of the Valley Conference champion." The Team Skull member trembles as she takes out some pokedollars and tosses it to Eddy, then quickly runs off.
"Can I take on another of you?" asked the other Team Skull member.
"I believe it's my turn now, Eddy." said Edd.
"Go for it, Double-D." said Eddy as he picks up the pokedollars and heads back to the group. The Team Skull member tosses her pokeball, releasing a Raticate. Edd takes out a pokeball and throws it, releasing his Stoutland; he growls at the Raticate, making it nervous.
"I believe my Stoutland's Intimidate ability has weakened your Pokemon's attack strength." said Edd.
"Raticate, use Quick Attack!" said the Team Skull member. Her Raticate moves at Stoutland at fast speed and rams into Stoutland.
"Stoutland, please use Ice Fang!" said Edd. Stoutland's fangs become coated in ice as she bites down on the Raticate; ice forms all over its body, freezing it in place.
"Looks like that Raticate is giving your Stoutland a cold shoulder." said Eddy. "In fact, it's giving her a cold everything."
"Raticate, hurry and use Quick Attack!" said the Team Skull member. The Raticate didn't move a muscle due to it being frozen.
"Stoutland, please use Tackle!" said Edd. Stoutland charges at the frozen Raticate and rams it hard enough to break through the ice, hit Raticate, and sends it flying into a wall where it passes out.
"You did it, Double-D!" cheered Ed.
"This isn't over!" said the Team Skull member as she tosses Edd pokedollars and runs away. After Edd picks up the money, they look around the room and didn't find any of the Aether House's Pokemon.
"So, what now?" asked Sarah.
"There's one more room to check." said Maxiley.
"Let's go then." said Edd. They enter and see a male Team Skull member looking right at them.
"What are you all doing here?" asked the Team Skull member.
"Looking for the stolen Pokemon you all have!" said Edd.
"Sorry, but the only thing here in this room is trouble for you!" said the Team Skull member. Ed steps forward while pulling out a pokeball. "So, you want to battle, huh?"
"You bet your sweet bippy I do." replied Ed. The Team Skull member pulls out a pokeball.
"All right, if that's what you want." said the Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball. "Go, Haunter!" The Team Skull member throws the pokeball, releasing a Haunter.
"Ampharos, come out!" said Ed, throwing Ampharos' pokeball and releasing her. "Ampharos, use Charge!" Ampharos becomes surrounded by yellow sparks.
"Haunter, use Shadow Punch!" said the Team Skull member. Haunter throws a punch and releases a black shadow fist from its fist, and it hits Ampharos, knocking her back; static electricity surrounds Haunter's body and it twitches.
"Haunter's paralyzed!" said Edd.
"Gotta love that Static ability." said Eddy.
"Ampharos, Electro Ball!" said Ed. Ampharos forms a yellow ball of electricty between the end of her arms and launches it at Haunter, hitting it, and knocking it out. "You did great, Ampharos!" The Team Skull member returned Haunter to its pokeball, then pulls out another.
"Let's see how you do against Grimer!" said the Team Skull member, throwing a pokeball and releasing an Alolan Grimer.
"Ampharos, Dishcarge!" said Ed. Ampharos releases multiple bolts of electricity from her body, and they hit Grimer, knocking it to the ground. As it gets up, it begins twitching.
"Now Grimer's paralyzed." said Edd.
"Grimer, try using Knock Off!" said the Team Skull member. Grimer fights through its paralysis and punches Ampharos, knocking her back.
"Ampharos, Thunder Punch!" said Ed. The end of Ampharos' arm becomes surrounded by electricity; she runs at Grimer and punches it, knocking it out. "You did it, Ampharos!"
"Way to go, Ed!" said Maxiley. The Team Skull member drops to his knees and returned Grimer to its pokeball. After giving Ed pokedollars, the group exits the room.
"Those Pokemon got to be here somewhere." said Eddy. Ed looks around and sees another flight of stairs that led to a door.
"Maybe they're up there, guys." said Ed. The group run up the stairs and walk through the door, finding themselves on the roof.
"I don't think there's Pokemon here." said Jimmy, looking around.
"Unfortunately, there is another Team Skull delinquent here." said Edd, pointing at a female Team Skull member.
"What are you all doing up here?" asked the Team Skull member.
"Retrieving the Pokemon you all took." said Edd.
"You'll all have to get past me first!" said the Team Skull member as she takes out a pokeball from her pocket.
"Very well." said Edd as he steps forward. The Team Skull member tosses her pokeball, releasing a Spinarak; Edd tosses his, releasing his Toucannon. "Toucannon, please use Drill Peck!" Toucannon spirals towards the Spinarak and pierces it with his beak, doing super effective damage, and knocking it out.
"Nooo!" shouts the Team Skull member. She returns her Spinarak to its pokeball, then pulls out another one and tosses it, releasing a Pawniard.
"Toucannon, please use Rock Smash!" said Edd. Toucannon slams his beak onto the Pawniard, doing lots of super effective damage to it, and knocks it out.
"That was fast." groans the Team Skull member. She returns her Pawniard to its pokeball and pulls out her last one; she tosses it, releasing a Golbat.
"Toucannon, please use Screech!" said Edd. Toucannon lets out a large shriek which makes the Golbat cringe and lowers its defense.
"Golbat, use Poison Fang!" said the Team Skull member. The Golbat flies at Toucannon with poison-coated fangs and tries biting him.
"Toucannon, please evade that attack and use Beak Blast!" said Edd. Toucannon flies above the Golbat to dodge its Poison Fang, and plummets down onto it with a superheated beak, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"No way!" shouts the Team Skull member.
"Double-D won!" said Ed. The Team Skull member frowns as she returns her Golbat to its pokeball, tosses Edd pokedollars, and runs into the house, with the group following after her. Inside, they see the Team Skull member run into a room with large doors.
"That must be Guzma's room." said Maxiley.
"Let's not keep him waiting!" said Eddy.
The group are about to face the leader of Team Skull. Will Eddy beat him and get the kidnapped Pokemon back? Wait and find out.
