Chapter 4.

Naruto, Kakashi and Haku were now making their way towards the exiting the Hokage tower. There was an awkward silence as they made their way out. Haku kept her eyes fixed on Naruto as they were walking. Naruto is still in the process of sinking in everything that has transpired a few moments ago.

Once they were out of the tower, kakashi decided to leave them alone and shunshined himself out of the scene. Naruto and Haku stared at each other. Naruto clenched his fist and spoke.

" Why did you do that? I never said I wanted you to become my slave or anything. I saved you because I wanted you to become free as a person and not some tool to be used so why Haku?" Naruto asked.

" Because this is my choice Naruto-sama. This is what my heart truly desires. I have done a lot of thinking from when I was detained and it's always the same Naruto-sama I want to be with you, your dreams are my dreams. Your will is my will that is what my heart is telling me you are my light and my new purpose for existing " Haku said

" It's wrong! and it doesn't make sense none of what you are saying makes any sense! I saved you because it was the right thing to do because I wanted us to be friends " Naruto said

" You saved me because that is what your heart also told you was right Naruto-sama ?I am merely doing the same I am only doing what my heart is telling me is right. " Haku said

Naruto couldn't think of any way to respond to Haku's question. Haku was right Naruto saved her despite knowing she was the enemy because that is what his heart told him to do and Haku is now doing this because it's what her heart is telling her.

" But what if I refused to take you what would you've done?" Naruto Asked

" Then there would be no point in living. I have no more reason to exist." Haku replied.

" It's those eyes again" Naruto thought

The look in Haku's eyes was enough to make Naruto calm down a bit. He lets out a sigh

" Fine if that's what you want then suit yourself. Just don't expect me to order you around or anything okay? were friends okay " Naruto said

" Of course Naruto-sama whatever you say " Haku replied with a smile

" Okay first thing we're gonna do is give you a tour around the leaf village" Naruto said excitingly

Naruto took Haku around the leaf village showing her different places and different spots. One thing she Noticed is how the villagers looked at him full of hate and contempt.

" It's those eyes " Haku thought to herself

The way they were looking at her master made her feel both sad and angry. She wanted to kill them all then and there and if she wanted to, she knows she can However, she also knows that Naruto wouldn't allow for her to do such a thing. So, she just ignored them and just focused her attention on Naruto.

Naruto told stories about how he used to play pranks people back in his academy years. She was still feeling agitated from the people in the village but hearing Naruto's stories lightened her mood quite a bit, enough to actually make her giggle a little.

They both stopped at a small ramen stall. Naruto spoke highly of the place which peaked her curiosity. As they went in a middle aged man, presumably the store owner greeted them and then a girl probably the same age as her came out to also greet them.

They were nice people she was glad that there were at least a few people in the village that didn't hate Naruto.

" Oh, hello Naruto long time no see so what can I get ya. ?" Teuchi asked

" Three bowls of Miso ramen 2 bowls for me and 1 bowl for my friend over here " Naruto said

" Your friend huh? so what's her name " Teuchi asked

" Her name is Haku and she'll be living in the leaf village from now on" Naruto said excitingly

" Well it's nice to meet you, my name's teuchi and I'm the owner of this stand. Since you're new, I'll have your orders in the house. I hope you enjoy and welcome to ichiraku " Teuchi said

" Thanks! old man you're the greatest !" Naruto said happily

Haku felt warm and happy seeing Naruto's happiness she found it quite adorable on how happy her master is.

" Thank you I appreciate your hospitality towards us " Haku said

A few moments later their orders arrived

" Hey Naruto-kun how have you been? and who's this girl with you? " Ayame asked

" Hi Ayame nee-chan! this is Haku and she's my friend. She's going to start living here at the leaf from now on!" Naruto again said excitingly

" It's nice to meet you. I'm glad that Naruto-kun has made a new friend" " Ayame said

" The pleasures all mine " Haku said with a smile

" Here are your orders, enjoy! " Ayame said.

Haku watched in amazement at how much ramen Naruto can eat. She wondered how his little body was able to contain so much food. She also noted that Naruto had rough manners and made it her mission to teach him more refined manners especially if he wanted to be Hokage.

They finished their meal and left the stand. They walked around a bit more until they reached Naruto's apartment.

" Welcome Home !" Naruto exclaimed

Haku almost broke down into tears hearing Naruto welcome her at his home which is now her Home. It was something she hadn't felt in a very long time not since she was forced to live in the streets after killing her father. She now has a second home to come back to with her most precious person.
