A/N: Hey, I don't know if this has been happening to anybody else, but for some reason, I no longer get notifications even though I have them turned on, and my view counter is busted. If you leave a review on ANY of my works, PLEASE PM ME so I'll know.

The next day, Mr. Aizawa's homeroom class got on as usual, barring two things: 1. Ashido was still very pale from the scare she received last night, and 2. Aizawa had something to say about this:

"Good morning, class. Before we get on with our usual business, I understand all of you have become singularly obsessed with the so-called 'Ghost of UA High', and to this, I have one thing to say: the 'Ghost of UA High' is a myth, a legend created to bring about unnecessary fear in generations of students. Whatever happenings have supposedly been brought on by the ghost have logical explanations grounded in reality, and before anyone thinks of trying anything funny, let me give you a yen's worth of free advice: UA has a strict no-tolerance policy for harassing other students, and if any of you are caught attempting to pose as the 'Ghost of UA High', you WILL be expelled automatically. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Mr. Aizawa," said all the students.

"Good."

Later on, Deku and Todoroki were in the library, discussing the ghost:

"So Deku, do you have any idea who the ghost might be?"

Deku nodded. "I have an idea, but I need to obtain more evidence before I can jump to any conclusions."

"May I ask who you think it is?"

Deku paused, and then gulped. "I'll tell…but only because I trust you very much."

"OK."

Deku leaned towards Todoroki, and whispered:

"I think it's Aoyama."

Todoroki raised an eyebrow. "Why do you think it's him?"

"Last night, when I was searching the girls' bathroom, I found a cube of cheese on the sink. It reminded me of an incident a few months ago where I found a bunch of cheeses on the porch outside my dorm and he spooked me. He's the only person I know of who would pull something like this."

"Are you sure? I heard Uraraka likes cheese as well."

"Yeah, but I know her. Judging by her body language, the tone in her voice and the way she speaks to others, pulling a malicious prank like this seems very out of character for her."

Todoroki frowned. "I'm sorry, Deku. I didn't mean to wrongfully accuse her; I just…I wanna solve this as badly as you do."

Deku smiled. "I understand, and I know you had no malicious intent. Uraraka's one of your best friends, and you would never do anything to hurt or upset her."

Todoroki smiled. "Thank you for having faith in me, Deku. That means a lot to me."

"Of course! Anything for the sexiest girl in UA!"

Todoroki giggled and gently shoved Deku. "Oh, stop!"

Later that day, things were pretty normal in the UA dorms, barring the fact that Ashido had locked herself up in hers. Deku and Todoroki were hanging out in the former's dorm, playing GoldenEye. Currently, they were doing a standard deathmatch in the Facility using Remote Mines as the weapons set. At one point, Todoroki attempted to go into the bathroom, but Deku had planted a mine on the door and detonated it, killing her. Rather than getting angry with him, she giggled:

"Deku, that's not fair!"

Deku laughed. "Hey, there's nothing in the rules that says I can't booby-trap the doors!"

Deku went to one of the chemical storage rooms and mined the door there. Again, Todoroki attempted to enter and got blown up. In response to this, she wrapped an arm around Deku and pulled him in tight.

"What?"

"If you booby-trap another door, I'm gonna tickle you, honey!"

Deku giggled. "Come on, don't be such a poor sport! It's not my fault that I find this amusing!"

"Then maybe you'll find this amusing!"

Todoroki was about to tickle Deku when they heard knocking on the door.

"Come in." Deku paused the game.

The door opened, and Tokoyami was standing there.

"Hey there, Tokoyami," said Deku. "What's up?"

"I'd like a word with you two." Tokoyami strode in to the dorm.

"About what?" said Todoroki.

"Have either of you made progress in the investigation of the Ghost of UA High?"

Todoroki shook her head. "No."

"Neither have I," said Deku. "I wondered about who it could be, but at this point, any guess I have would be a longshot."

"I see. I too have no ideas regarding this incident. Nevertheless, if I find anything, I shall inform you."

"Thank you, Tokoyami," said Deku. "Just one question…"

"Yes?"

"What's your stake in this case?"

"You know me: I favor the darkness. However, I find that I cannot stand idly by as innocent students are terrorized."

"We're just as angry about it as you are," said Todoroki.

"I never said I was angry, but I understand your sentiment. Have a good night, Midoriya and Todoroki."

"You too."

Later that night, everyone was sleeping peacefully until a loud, nasally scream broke the silence. Naturally, Deku and Todoroki were the first to investigate, and they found out that Tsu was the one who got spooked. Uraraka did her best to calm her down:

"Tsu, it's OK! Everything's gonna be OK! It's not real!"

"Uraraka, those voices…get those voices away from me!"

Tsu wasn't the only one hearing those voices; Deku once again investigated the scene and found that – aside from various frog- and swamp-themed decorations in Tsu's dorm – the window had been defaced with various words and images such as "SATANAS", "666" and an inverted pentacle, all in blood. Outside, on the porch, Deku found a tape recorder, so he hit "STOP" and brought it with him.

"Uraraka, look at this."

Still trying to calm Tsu, Uraraka looked at the tape recorder and scowled, wondering who would want to terrorize her best friend.
