I exit the portal at the mage academy. One of my troops approached me. "SIR! Your mother wishes to see you!" he told me. Great. I walk out of the building and through the town. It is very different than any of the Elven, Nether, Mermaid, or Seraph kingdoms. Magic and technology work together. I enter my mother's house and walk into her living room. "Sit, son," says a voice from the kitchen. I took a seat on one of the recliners she had in the living room. My mother, Christina Green, comes out of the kitchen. She wore a Raven Empire hoodie and sweatpants. "How was your trip to the Cloud Kingdom, Stratus?" she asked me. "Not bad. I surprised Princess Rayne when she found out I was a hybrid," I told her. My mother narrowed her eye at me, her other eye covered by an eyepatch. I'm pretty sure that it was narrowed too though. "Rayne wants to find her missing daughter," she told me. "Nothing is worse than a mother's grief. I'll assign our finest operative to the case. He'll find her," I said. My mother raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure REX is up to the challenge? You know how violent he can get," She stated. "I'm well aware of that, but the creatures he'll face in his journey are many," I point out. Christina's Alpha mark glowed a bright Sapphire Blue. "You're as reckless as your father, but as caring as I am," She stated. I stand up and leave.
