In his new form, he felt quite comfortable chasing after the flying thing that had bothered him before. Whatever it did to hurt him was no longer working, as he could barely feel it. The Thing, whatever it was, was now fleeing, and he was running after it. He chased it out of the forest and followed it across the smooth path, which had another one of those ground-creatures. He stepped on the Metal thing, and felt a rush of heat and pain on his foot as it Exploded beneath his weight. He tripped, splaying out across the grass next to the path. The Flying Machine receded away from him, and an instinct came from deep inside of him that told him what to do next.

As he got up, he dug his foot into the earth, stepping onto the ground with force and steadying himself against the ground. He felt heat building within his back, which seemed to grow until it started to become painful, then, at its apex, he let it loose. A Burst of fire left from his mouth, flames streaming through the air as it struck the helicopter, some of which got sucked into the Intakes. The Rotor sputtered as some struck it, some got into the cabin and began to burn the interior. He just watched, admiring his creation as the helicopter descended in smoke and flame and struck the forest, causing an Explosion that sent debris and fire streaking through the sky.

He turned, looking around. Another ground creature was rushing towards him, its shiny lights irritating him, he rushed towards it, using his arm and claw to grab it and ripped the top off, exposing the two-legged creature inside. He decided this time to punish the enemy, and he chomped down on the creature and swallowed it. He didn't feel proper taste anymore, evidently he lost the need for Food, but as he walked towards the distant structures he felt a sudden surge of knowledge. He must have absorbed that things memories, he of course tossed out his personal experiences but more informational things such as his vocabulary, he now could name things like Helicopters, Cars, and as he looked at the road he saw a sign he could also Read.

'Oklahoma City.'

He bent down and tore the sign clear off, tossing it hundreds of meters away. He then looked at the distant city, the setting sun illuminating the skyscrapers with beautiful rays. He let out a roar as the city lights began to come on as night descended on them.

There were only a few days until the shutdown of project MUTAGEN, and Serizawa, of course, could not be less happy. His project shut down, its employees to be laid off and all the research, which was likely or surely already complete to be either tossed out and left to rot in a filing cabinet in some bunker. He put his hands into his face, stifling a sigh.

Then, he heard a knock at his door, he unveiled his hands from his face, revealing his eyes to be tired and red.

"You may come in." He said with an annoyed tone, and as the door swung open he could see it was General Packard, who looked at him with a very serious expression. He noticed he was accompanied by other men, who all had uniforms that informed him of a high rank. He was looking at perhaps some of the highest ranking officials within the United States Military.

"Dr Serizawa, we need to speak with you about Project Mutagen." General Packard Said.

Serizawa laughed, "About what? The Project that you canned? About the years worth of research you wasted? I'm sure you're here to apologize, right, abouts the discontent you've caused?"

General Packard slammed his fist against his fine wooden table, before yelling very loudly in his face "Serizawa, your project has created a monster that's rampaging through Oklahoma as we speak!"

That was not the answer he was expecting, to say the least. Serizawas angry face was replaced by one of shock, confusion.

"I did not authorize the creation of any assets using Mutagen." Serizawa said, thinking they were implying that he was the one who created whatever 'Monster' they were talking about.

"We know." One of the other generals said, "We've overlooked some security footage at your facility in Oklahoma city, it looks like one of the barrels was spilled and some…Lizard got to it." After saying that, the general brought out the Tablet and pulled up a Video, showing a Spilled Barrel with the liquid spilling out, followed by a Small Lizard, what looked like a Gecko, taking a couple of drinks before rolling over, convulsing, and then ultimately changing. As it changed it rolled through the fence, breaking through it before vanishing out of view.

Then the Video changed, this time showing Helicopter footage. There was a searchlight that was shining on a Creature, the thing had evidently grown and now resembled a Tyrannosaurid, he was a big enough Dinosaur nerd to know that, but it was overall bigger, had longer arms and seemed to have some spikes on its back. As he watched a Dull Reddish Glow ran up its back and it breathed some flames out of its mouth, then the footage cut out.

"Serizawa, I've seen progress on your project, but I need to know the details now." Packard said, "Give me every detail you can on Mutagen so we can stop this thing with minimal lives lost."

Serizawa sighed, he knew Packard wasn't very understanding of the projects he supported, he figured it would make sense to tell him.

"Mutagen is designed not as a weapon itself, but as the building blocks of one." He began, "Mutagen, or Mutated Genetic Material Scrambler, was originally thought of as a Way to Destroy Oxygen Bonds between Genetic Material, this of course was phased out in favor of the current project."

He paused before continuing. "Mutagen, in its present form, aims to be able to rewrite and improve on existing genetic material, it has multiple uses, whether designing new animals or creatures in labs, or putting them for nature to take its course and improve on something randomly." He began to explain the process of how it works, "Mutagen works by being ingested or injected into a living being, from there it works its way to the bloodstream, and ultimately the brain. Once it reaches the brain, it hijacks it and begins to decode genetic material, and uses the brain to manually change and begin mass duplication of cells. It's a quick process, but it can adapt a creature to basically anything."

"So." Serizawa said, pointing at the footage, "What happened here was this thing was shot at, it adapted to that and is now in a form designed to deal with what your throwing at it, if you want to stop it you need to obliterate it, destroy all cells of its body that contain Mutagen."

"Alright then, thanks for your help." General Packard said, he whipped out his personal Phone, and dialed in a Number.

"Deploy the Oklahoma National Guard, direct orders, I want all tanks, armored vehicles and aircraft, get the military itself on the line too, we need to take this thing out before it can adapt again." The General said.

"If this doesn't work, may god have mercy on us all…."
