The sun filtered gently through the tall windows of the Arendelle Castle, casting a soft, golden glow across the nursery. It was a cozy, colorful room filled with the laughter of a newborn baby and the subtle warmth of parental love. In one corner, a crib decorated with snowflakes and soft, plush blanket awaited its occupant, a collection of stuffed animals sat on the shelves, keeping a watchful eye over the room.

Queen Elsa and her fiancé, Kristoff Bjorgman stood together in the nursery, glancing at each other with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

Today was a significant milestone; they were about to change their daughter A'Laylianna's diaper for the first time. A'Laylianna, their beloved little girl, was now a day and a half old, already bringing joy and chaos with her arrival.

"Okay, are you ready for this?" Kristoff asked, looking at Elsa with a playful grin.

He had gathered the supplies they needed—a fresh diaper, wipes, and some baby powder.

Elsa secured A'Laylianna's favorite plush toy, a little white teddy bear named Iorek, by her side.

"I think so," she replied, trying to suppress her nervousness.

"How hard can it be? We've seen other people do it in the classes we took hundreds of times!"

Kristoff chuckled.

"Right, but this is our first time. What if we mess it up?"

Elsa shook her head, a smile breaking through her apprehension.

"We won't mess it up. We just need to take our time and be gentle."

As if sensing the moment, A'Laylianna let out a soft coo from her crib, her bright blue eyes sparkling with curiosity. She had just woken up from a nap, her round, chubby cheeks still slightly dimpled with sleep.

The tiny princess was swaddled in a pastel blanket, and a tuft of platinum-blonde hair peeked out.

"She's so cute," Kristoff whispered, his heart swelling with affection.

"Okay, let's do this!"

Elsa nodded, picking A'Laylianna up and cradling her in her arms.

"Hey there, little beauty! Are you ready for a diaper change?" she asked, her voice soothing and cheerful.

A'Laylianna giggled, reaching out to grab Elsa's finger, her tiny hand enveloping her mother's.

Kristoff laid out the changing mat on the floor, making sure everything was within arm's reach.

"I'll be right here with you, just in case, snowflake." he assured.

Carefully, Elsa laid A'Laylianna down on the mat, making sure she was comfortable.

A'Laylianna's eyes widened as she took in her new surroundings, her gaze shifting from her mother to Kristoff.

"You're going to be the best little helper!" Kristoff said, kneeling down beside them.

Elsa smiled down at her daughter.

"Alright, let's see what we're working with here."

She unbuttoned A'Laylianna's onesie, revealing the little diaper underneath. As she opened the diaper, a strange look crossed her face.

"Oh…wow. That's…quite a mess!"

She tried to hold back a laugh but found it impossible.

Kristoff leaned closer, his eyes wide with surprise.

"I can't believe something so small can create something so…powerful!"

Elsa chuckled, shaking her head.

"Well, here we go!"

She grabbed the wipes nearby and gently cleaned A'Laylianna's bottom, her heart racing as she focused on being gentle and quick.

A'Laylianna wriggled a bit, her tiny legs kicking playfully.

"Hey there, squirmy girl! Hold still for Mama," Elsa said, her voice light and teasing.

Kristoff laughed, watching the scene unfold.

"It's like trying to catch a snowflake in a storm!"

Once A'Laylianna was clean, Elsa reached for a fresh diaper, but as she did, Kristoff took the opportunity to speak.

"So, do we fold the front up or down? Is there a technique to this?" he asked.

Elsa raised an eyebrow, amused.

"You want to read the instruction manual?" she asked playfully.

"Just hold it up, Kristoff!"

Kristoff held the fresh diaper like it was a fragile artifact, his expression serious.

"Okay, okay! I'm ready."

Elsa gently lifted A'Laylianna's legs up and slid the fresh diaper underneath her.

"You've gotta support her legs while we do this," she instructed, her focus unwavering.

As they secured the diaper, A'Laylianna let out a delighted squeal, her little hands flailing in the air.

"I think she likes it!" Kristoff exclaimed.

"Either that or she's just excited about the whole experience." Elsa replied with a laugh.

Finally, they sealed the new diaper and she buttoned A'Laylianna's onesie back up.

"There! All done! You survived your first diaper change, my little snowflake," she declared triumphantly, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on A'Laylianna's forehead.

A'Laylianna giggled again, her big, blue eyes shining with joy as she looked at her parents.

"Now we just have to clean up the battlefield," Kristoff said, gesturing to the used diapers and wipes scattered around them.

Elsa rolled her eyes playfully.

"Welcome to parenthood, Kristoff! It's a beautiful mess."

As they cleaned up, Kristoff looked at A'Laylianna, who was now playing with her beloved stuffed teddy bear.

"You know, for our first time, I think we did pretty well."

Elsa nodded, a smile spreading across her face.

"I agree! We make a great team."

"Absolutely! Next time, though, let's make sure to have an extra supply of wipes handy," Kristoff suggested, a teasing glint in his brown eyes.

A'Laylianna let out a soft coo, as if she understood their conversation, and reached for Kristoff's beard, tugging on it with both of her tiny little hands.

"Ow! Little one, that is not how you show affection!" Kristoff laughed, trying to gently pry A'Laylianna's tiny fingers away from his beard.

"I think she's testing her strength already!"

Elsa chuckled softly, watching the amusing exchange.

"We're going to have our hands full with this one."

Once they tidied the nursery up a little bit, she placed A'Laylianna back in her crib.

"How about we celebrate our successful diaper change with a story?" she suggested.

"I love that idea! What story should we read?" Kristoff asked, looking through the shelf filled with children's books.

Elsa picked up a colorful book with illustrations of snowy adventures.

"How about 'Olaf's Frozen Adventures'? I think she'll love it!"

Kristoff nodded, settling down next to Elsa as she opened the book.

They read aloud in gentle voices, A'Laylianna captivated by the colorful images and the sound of her parents' voices. As they read, her eyelids soon grew heavy, her tiny hands clutching Iorek as she listened intently to the story.

Kristoff and Elsa exchanged glances, knowing their little princess was about to drift off to sleep.

With the final words of the story, Elsa closed the book softly and leaned down to kiss A'Laylianna's forehead.

"Goodnight, my sweet little snowflake. Mommy and Daddy love you so very much."

Kristoff brushed a hand over A'Laylianna's hair, smiling warmly.

"Sweet dreams, my little snow princess."

As they tiptoed out of the nursery, he turned to Elsa, a wide, toothy grin gracing his features.

"We did it, Els! Our first diaper change as a team, and we didn't even call for backup!"

Elsa laughed softly.

"I know! I'm so proud of us! It's just the beginning, but I feel like if changing a diaper was that easy, we can handle anything together."

"Definitely! If we can survive a diaper change, we can survive anything." Kristoff said, wrapping an arm around Elsa's shoulders.

As they walked down the corridor hand in hand, they couldn't help but talk about all the adventures that lay ahead.

Each day with A'Laylianna was a new lesson, filled with laughter and love, and the possibilities were never-ending.

Later that evening, as they prepared for bed, Elsa paused and turned to Kristoff, her expression thoughtful.

"You know, today was a big step for us. It's amazing how much A'Laylianna's personality is shining through."

"Yeah, it's like she's growing up right before our eyes even though she's only a day and a half old," Kristoff replied, his voice a little softer.

"And we're right there with her, learning as we go."

Elsa smiled, her heart full.

"I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so grateful we're doing this together." she whispered affectionately.

Kristoff pulled Elsa close, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"You're the best partner I could ask for. And you're going to be an even better wife. We make a great team." he whispered back, a warm, loving smile on his face.

"We do, don't we?" Elsa replied.

"I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Thank you for making me a mother."

"No, Elsa. Thank you for making me a father. I couldn't imagine a better woman by my side raising our little snowflake," Kristoff murmured.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Kristoff."

They shared a sweet kiss, the love between the palpable as they stood together in the glow of the evening light. And as they settled into bed, the warmth of their love filled the room. They knew that the journey of parenthood was only just beginning, with countless moments—some messy, some joyous—waiting for them ahead.

"Tomorrow is another day," Elsa said softly, resting her head against Kristoff's shoulder.

"And I can't wait to see what it brings."

Kristoff smiled, his heart brimming with love and excitement.

"Whatever it is, we'll face it like we always face everything—together."

"Together." Elsa repeated, closing her eyes and curling up against Kristoff.

"Goodnight, Kristoff. I love you so much."

"Goodnight, snowflake. I love you too. Forever and always."

And with that, they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the adventures that awaited them as a family, ready to embrace the beautiful chaos that was parenthood—diapers and all.

Hello there! I hope you're all enjoying the story so far! I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much—I got promoted at my job and I've been working my ass off for the past two weeks. But I promise, as soon as I can, I will type until I can't anymore! From now on, I'll be posting my chapters in threes—just to build a little more anticipation and suspense between them. Side note: I'm not sure if Kristoff has a beard in Frozen 2 (I haven't watched Frozen 2 in a while so bear with me), but I think he would look sooo cute with one! I'm pretty sure he had one in the original concept of Frozen but according to Johnathan Groff (the voice of Kristoff), it made him look too old for Anna—(not that it matters anyways because this story is strictly Kristelsa). Also, this story is now on Wattpad under the same name! Check it out there if reading it here isn't your thing—(what am I saying, if you're here, it already is your thing). Side side note: does the name "Iorek" sound familiar? If it does, it's because it's from "The Golden Compass"! "The Golden Compass" also known as "His Dark Materials" is my absolute favorite book series. Perhaps I'll write about it sometime when I'm finished with this story.

ANYWAYS…

Thank you so much for reading. Let me know how I did! I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read, follow, and review this story! Your support means everything and more to me! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you! If you like what you see, check out my other stories as well! I promise, you won't be disappointed! And yeah, I think that's all for now! Until next time—much love!
