Chapter 9: the final confrontation Blitzo vs Alastor
Escaping from Pidemon the group proceeded down the dark cavern since the evil king destroyed the clock in a rage they had no other choice but keep going forward through Alastors passage. As they walked Moxxie explains why they were here and what there quest is "And the rest you know we came here seeking the imps and we had possibly found them at last" Moxxie finished relieved that Blitzo's kind has been found. "I used to have a dream over and over about standing at my window in the middle of the night seeing the red form of Alastor stretching and walking his black tentacles swiping around as if looking for something…" said Stolas remembering when he was young of the foul creature "Yes driving the poor imps to the sea, it was no dream you had your majesty, Pidemon has them all now drifting in and out in the tide for his delight, all but one and that is Lord Blitzo" said Millie pointing to the transformed imp.
Stolas looks at him but still loves him even if he was a imp "Imp, Merman, a sage, no name would give her would surprise or frighten me, I love whom I love and who I love is the character of Blitzo" said Stolas as Blitzo turned with a surprised look on his face that the prince still loves him "Well that is really kind your majesty but when I change him back to his true self…" said Moxxie "I love who I love" said Stolas firmly.
"I heard what you said *Walks back to the group his decision sound* I will go no further" he said as Moxxie gently took his arm "There is no choice, we have to go on" said Moxxie as Blitzo looked at Stolas desperate "Dont let him change me please, Alastor has no care for human beings, we may walk out past him and get away" said Blitzo as Stolas frowned at him, he was giving up on his quest just so that he can be with him? "If we do that, all the imps in the world will remain prisoner forever except for one, and he will grow old and die" yelled Moxxie as Blitzo shook his head tears dripping. "Everything dies eventually, I want to die when you die, I am no imp or a demon I am a human and I love you *Hugs Stolas* dont let him Stolas! I will not love you when I am a imp" said Blitzo knowing imps cant feel such strong emotion like love. "Stolas please dont" said Stolas not wanting him to quit.
"THen let us end this quest here, I dont think my dear husband could change him back even if you wished it, marry the prince and live happily ever after" said Millie impatient as the others watched worried as Blitzo nodded "Yes that is my wish" said Blitzo wanting to be with the one he loved "No my lord, I am a hero and heros know that things must happen when its time for them to happen, a quest may not simply be abandoned, Imps may go unreduced for a long time, but not forever, the happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story" said Stolas taking Blitzos hand and proceeds with Moxxie, Millie, Charlie and Vaggie following "But what if there isnt a happy ending at all?" Asked Vaggie "There are no happy endings because nothing truely ends" said Moxxie as both Vaggie and Charlie kept quiet for a moment, sure they know that Stolas and Blitzo fell in love, so why let him stay as he is "Moxxie let him stay the way he is, let him be" said Charlie "That is not in the story, Stolas knows that and so does hi" Moxxie spoke as Stolas looked at him. If Blitzo stays human the quest to rescue his kind will be all for nothing, his kind will be prisoners in the ocean forever with no hope.
"You dont are! You dont care what happens to him or the others just so that you can become a real Warlock at last you dont cere!" Vaggie cried as Moxxie had tears in his eyes "I wish I didnt! I wish to god I didnt care about anything but my magic! But I do! I do!" He yelled as Millie comforted him as suddenly the cavern started to glow red meaning one thing "Mox!" Yelled Millie worried as they saw the windigo appearing in front of them growing as he saw Blitzo, he knows who he really is "Charlie! Vaggie! He knows! He knows!" Yelled Moxxie "Run run fast!" Yelled Millie as they all run as Alastor stomped after them because he didnt want to damage his lair and his masters castle as without warning Blitzo triple and fell "Gahh my Ankle! Help!" He yelled scared as Stolas turned seeing the fell imp human "Blitzo!" He yelled as Moxxie and the others ran the other way and watched in horror as the monster is going only after Blitzo. Stolas bravely jumps in front of him and pulled out his sword "Dont move!" He said as the monster snarled and burns the sword as he was forced to let go because of his burnt hand "He will be killed!" Yelled Charlie running to rescue him along with Vaggie but Moxxie and Millie held them back as Stolas spread his arms out to block the beast protecting Blitzo as Moxxie got to his feet and stood straight as the time has come "Agu coganu mutariti copona! Copona!" He chanted as his magic goes to Blitzo "Stolas!" He yelled standing but he felt he was coming back to the way he was, back to be a imp, still dressed in the outfit he wore as a human "Blitzo!" Stolas yelled back as Alastor roared in furry as he ran to him as Blitzo dashed off being chased to the beach as the others followed seeing him "Look!" Yelled Millie seeing him near the shore of the ocean and Alastor in front of him making him go in to be Pidemons prisoner but he ran away from the water as he chased him.
"So something! You have the power! I will kill you if you dont do something!" Yelled Stolas as the others turned to him "I cannot! Not all the magic in the world can help him now" said Moxxie as he used all his magic to turn Blitzo back into a imp "Then what is magic for? What is the use of witchcraft if it cannot even save a imp!?" Said Vaggie "That is what heros are for" saidMillie Stolas stared and watched Blitzo in trouble "Of course that is exactly what heros are for" said Stolas running off "Stolas dont do it!" Yelled Moxxie as Stolas didnt listen as he ran infront of Alastors way with the monster not stoping "NO!" The group yelled as they all saw in horror as Stolas was knocked hard on the side face down bleeding as he was not moving as Blitzo stopped running seeing what had happened.
Back on the tower Pidemon watches that he saw Blitzo now a imp and he will soon join his kind in the ocean as Blitzo saw him horror of Stolas now dead as he got mad as he felt a swell of magic as his horns lightly glowed as he roared and charged forward as The windigo backed away "He is attacking!" Moxxie said in awe "He is fighting back!" Said Charlie "Fight dont stop and get that big bully!" Said Millie as ALastor backs away and this time he is backing away into the ocean as his foot touches the water, but Blitzo wont stop he will avenge Stolas and all the imps trapped by this monster.
"Guys look!" Said Moxxie as they saw the waves getting bigger and ontop of each tide was more imps! The closer the windigo gets to the water it is the only chance for the imps to be free! With no choice for the windigo he turns around and walks to the sea or face the wrath of the imp as he is covered by water as the waves come back in the imps ride as there are hundreds and thousands of them coming on the tide as they ran to shore as they circumvent around Moxxie, Millie, Charlie and Vaggie standing near Stolas body as they go around the castle as it crumbles as Pidemon is surprised but more angery as all the imps are free.
"The last! I knew you were the last!" Those were his final words as the floor breaks from under his feet as he scraped as he falls to the sea to his death as some of the castles pieces shrink and disappear in midair as other fell into the sea until it was no more.
All the imps were free and Blitzo was no longer the last of the imps.
Authros note: That was a chapter and now Blitzos kind were all free and Blitzo was no longer the last but at what cost.
Last chapter and a twist as Blitzo does something to Stolas as his heart now hold love in it
