Jennifer Walters was a woman with baggage, lots of it from her life as a legal expert; the rest came from her family.
Specifically her cousin Bruce Banner and his alter ego, the Hulk, as many people had wanted her to apologize for the damage he caused when he went off, and also treated her like a bomb due to her own 'Hulk' status and thought that one day she was going to go 'savage' and go on a rampage.
But even with that baggage, Jennifer still loved working in law, loved her cousin, both sides of him, and she also liked being a Hulk.
She was She-Hulk most of the time as being She-Hulk made her feel more confident, and it had resulted in her winning more cases. And one of the reasons she had moved from practicing in California to New York.
So yeah, at the moment, even if the baggage and issues that came from being Jennifer Walters hung on psyche like weight, she still liked her life and being Jennifer Walters.
Though at the moment, worry did fill her as nobody was seemingly able to locate Bruce. Her cousin having gone missing after having gone on a rampage through Las Vegas due to having to absorb the radiation of a Gamma Bomb, essentially sending the 'Savage' Hulk on a drug high through the city.
And that had been six months ago.
Nobody, having seen hide no hair of him since, hadn't contacted her in secret to tell her he was okay.
So yeah, Jennifer was worried about her cousin.
But those were feelings she could suppress for the sake of her work.
"Miss Walters?" She heard her secretary speak, the much more diminutive woman pocking her head through the door.
"What is it, Sabrina?" Jennifer asked.
"There is a Mr. …Accelerator and his companion who wishes to speak to you," She answered. And Jennifer immediately ran the name through her mind to see if she was familiar with a hero or villain who went by that.
"Does he have an appointment?" Jennifer asked.
"No, but he said that you wanting to know what happened to your cousin would get him one right now," Sabrina stated.
And she was correct.
"Send them in," Jennifer said as she wanted to know and if he had lied about it well… She was going to show him that she was called She-Hulk for a reason.
"Understood," Sabrina said as she pulled her head back and closed the door behind her, with Jennifer quickly leaning back in her chair, the green skinned woman composing herself for the moment.
And it was three minutes later that the door to her office opened up again, and in stepped a teenage boy, who had to be about sixteen years old; his face was slightly androgynous, moppy white hair and red eyes like he had albinoism, his body was also skinny with his skin being very pale. And standing an average 5'7. With his face not matching anybody that she knew.
And right next to him was a girl in her early teens with black hair, and rather familiar green eyes, which was peculiar; she was wearing a sports bra/tanktop combo and a pair of black jeans, exposing her midriff to clearly make herself look more mature for age, even if her body was well developed for said age but her height being 5 feet straight just kinda made her look like a brat. And, of course, there were the fingerless gloves that finished that young, edgy teen look.
"So, may I have your names first?" Jennifer began the second after her mind had spent half a second processing their appearance.
"Like I told you, Secretary, my name is Accelerator; this here is Laura," The boy introduced himself and his friend, which made Jennifer blink as she realized that he meant his name was Accelerator, and it was not an alias. This made Jennifer ask which kind of parent gave their kid that kind of name?
"And you also told her you have information about my cousin despite many people not having a clue where he disappeared to, while you a person I have never seen or heard about until you walked into my office that you know?" Jennifer asked.
"Well, you don't know me, Jen, but I know you well, at least a version of you," Acceralot stated, and the meaning of his sentence quickly clicked in her head.
"You are from another universe, aren't you?" She asked.
"Cor-rect-to," He answered. "Which is how I know where Bruce is, as going by the events that have happened in this matches with my own so far."
"Wait, you are from another universe?" His companion asked.
"Yes."
"And you didn't think to tell me that?"
"I wasn't important?"
"How is that not important? Was that the reason you chose to help me out?" She asked.
"No, Laura, I only realized who you were after the fact because you are even smaller and less developed than the Laura of my universe," Accelerator said, which made Laura make a face that made Jannet chuckle internally.
"So Accelerator, if you are from another universe, why did you come to me?" Jennifer asked. "Why not the Avengers or the X-men?"
"Because I knew the Jennifer of my world well, and I figured Jen is Jen no matter what universe," He spoke with a genuine level of trust in her that she did not hear often. "So I figured you would be the best bet to help me get set up with a Legal Identity and for her too."
"I accept the praise," Jennifer responded. "And I can talk to people for that, but why her?"
"She is a clone of Wolverine made by weapon X," He answered, and that… made Jennifer just sigh because, of course, she was a clone of Logan; that answered why her eyes were so familiar to her.
The girl looked down in shame at that.
"Girl, that is not your fault; they are terrible people who just can't accept a world with Mutants in… are you one too?" Jennifer asked Accelerator, which could explain why he had not gone to Xavier, as there was probably some bad blood between him and his version of Xavier that was mentally carrying over.
"Yes," He answered with a sour face.
"Well, if you tell me where my cousin is, I'll help you out with your issue," Jennifer said. However, at this point, she would have helped them out as two mutant teens who were homeless did not deserve to suffer further. She had to imagine something terrible must have happened to him to not even mention wanting help getting back to his universe.
"Well, Bruce Banner is currently on another planet," He answered.
"…What?" Jennifer asked.
"Yeah, he got sent into space by Tony and friends after they deemed him too big of a threat after the whole Las Vegas thing. And so they devised a plan to trick him into going into space and sent him via rocket, which did not reach its intended destination, so he ended up on a planet called Sakaar."
"I see…how did you learn this in your world?" Jennifer asked.
"Well, from my perspective, it happened when I was a bit younger, but he came back and said he was going to smash the Earth, as he ended up finding the love of his life, but she died because the rocket exploded, killing her and their unborn child." Jennifer choked at that. "Which he blamed Tony and his Illuminate friends for."
"Makes sense, makes very much sense," Jennifer said as it now sounded like they were destined to have very in sync and wrathful Bruce and Hulk gunning for everybody. "When does he return?" She asked.
"Not sure, maybe in like six months to a year," Accelerator said. "Some dumb stuff has to happen first."
Jennifer sighed at that. "And here I thought the dumb stuff was over."
"The dumb stuff is never going to stop."
That sentence just made Jennifer want to drink.
"Thank you for telling me; I am going to be having… words with Tony about this," Jannet said as she considered Pille Driving the billionaire through Avenger's Tower. "And I will of course, help you with your identity issue; know a few friends that can help get you that paper."
"Thanks; here is the number of the phone I am currently using," Accelerator said as he placed a piece of paper on her desk. "Call on that when you have news for us."
"And what are you going to be doing in the meantime?" Jennifer asked.
"Going to be pilfering money from idiots who are presumably going to be picking fights with us, seem to be on Tombstones shitlist," Accelerator answered nonchalantly like he just hadn't said that the second biggest crime lord of New York City wanted their asses dead.
"And where are you going to be staying while you do that?" She asked.
"I've been squatting in an abandoned apartment complex," The young clone said, and Jennifer just sighed again.
"Yeah, you are not," Jennifer said as she put her hand into her handbag and pulled out her keys. "Key's to my apartment, you will be staying with me for the foreseeable future."
"Ergh, why?" Accelerator asked. "You don't actually know me, know us at all?"
"Because I don't want to see kids be homeless. You alleviated my anxieties, and I can see why 'the me' in the other universe would be friends with you; you are definitely a cutie," Jennifer teased, and she smiled as she saw Accelerator blush.
"Thank you…"
"So you head there. I still have work to do for a few more hours, but I will be bringing dinner back," Jennifer said.
Accelerator looked at her. "Jen is Jen no matter what universe." He pocketed the keys. "Well, talk to you later, Jennifer."
"Talk to you later, Accelerator."

What the fuck just happened? I thought as we left Jennifer Walter's office and returned to the street as I repeatedly went over what the fuck I had just said to her.
Jen is Jen.
That I was a mutant.
But that was…
Urgh.
Pain flashed through my head as memories flashed through my head, memories I was pretty sure had not existed beforeas-.
Argh!
Reality was self-updating.
Lie had become truth.
As the universe itself made me fit in, just like Gwen-pole, giving me the appropriate background.
Memories continued to hammer their way through my head.
Memories of me…
Escaping from the training facility, running into Last Order, being found by Xavier, meeting Jennifer, joining the X-men, Spider-Island, The War against the X-Men, Last Order murdered, moving in with Jennifer, loving Jennifer, Ultron kills everybody, I kill Ultron.
Wake up… here.
"Hey Accelerator, you done spacing out?" Laura asked. "Actually, are you okay?"
"I am fine, just got a flash migraine because the universe is a bitch," I answered, and I did have a minor one, but I was already fixing that.
"What does that mean?" She asked.
"It means exactly what I said," I replied. "Well, I have to say that went better than I expected."
"I guess it did, really worked the charm on the big lady," Laura said.
"I've got rizz for days and many girls," I responded as we started walking.
"What the fuck does rizz mean?"
"You understand when you are older," I replied.
"That is not an answer."
"Oh, it totally is."
"God, you are stupid."
"What did you just say brat?"
"That for a self-proclaimed genius, you are pretty damn stupid," Laura said with a damn smirk on her face. "So, are we going to crash our new place or what?"
"Sure, why not, and this time hopefully, we go somewhere without being ambushed," I said as we decided to head for Jennifer's apartment, the scenario very similar to what I had just experinced from my brand new memories.

"Professor, did you find something?" Jean asked as Charles Xavier took off the Cerebra helmet, his face one of curiosity and also a slight concern.
"I did find something interesting," The man said. "A new mutant."
"Already?" Jeane asked. Six months ago, Wanda had depowered the vast majority of the mutant population of Earth, leaving only a few hundred left in the entire world compared to the millions that once were. But since she had only removed the powers of those with an active x-gene. Charles had hoped that soon enough, those born with an inactive one would wake up. But it had been calculated that it would take a year at minimum for that to happen, so six months ahead of schedule.
"I definitely never felt a mutant like him before; quite powerful," Professor Xavier said.
"Great, where is he then? We need to pick him up before the New Brotherhood, or others do," Jean said.
"New York City and seems to be walking around with another mutant that survived M-Day," Professor Xavier stated.
"That is very good, a new mutant and a survivor," Jean responded. "I will go and inform the others."
"You do that, Jean."
"Professor?" The psychic asked in concern.
"It's nothing; it seems that however this mutant is, their power does not take well to them being propped psychically," Charles said as he removed the sweat that had formed on his brow. "Minor backlash."
"I didn't think that was possible with Cerebra," Jeane said. She could understand if he had been using Cerebro as that could be fooled and wasn't as powerful.
"Yes, one can no longer psychically hide from its gaze like Magneto and others could against Cerebro," Charles said. "But he is not trying to hide; it was more that he turned my own probe against me, which is quite different."
"Well, that is interesting."
"I believe him to be at least Alpha-Level."
"From just that?"
"From just that," the professor said. "So do be careful."
"Always…" Jeane said as she walked away from the older man. And while she didn't want to think about it, it was clear that he was coming to the natural end of his life. "Scott, we have a mission; a brand new mutant had on Cerebra's scanner."
"Understood, will get the others, start prepping the Blackbird."
"I will head right there."

"So, do you mind telling me why four of my men are currently in police custody?" Alonzo Lincoln, aka Tombstone, the man who would dethrone Wilson Fisk as the Kingpin of New York City, asked the Lieutenant he had called into his office.
"Apparently, from what our insider told us, yesterday they were being robbed by a kid," Tombstone sighed. "But then caught her and tried to get the money back; they got stopped by some super who kicked the shit out of them."
"How did that lead to them getting arrested today?" He asked.
"Well, they tried to get revenge on the guy by ramming him with a car, and this was the result." The Lieutenant laid a tablet down on his desk, a video already on it.
Tombstone pressed play and watched as this was one of those new-fangled. 'YouTubers' making a video, but Tombstone could see in the background a white-haired teen crossing the street alongside an even younger black-haired girl.
And then…
Crash.
He saw a car directly colide with the boy and did nothing.
He did not move an inch as the car crumbled around him like he was the most solid metal pole on the planet. And then, after probably giving the idiots a talking too, he turned around to face the camera the teen was now properly recording with, announcing his name as 'Accelerator' and then promptly leaving.
And then the spider arrived.
Tombstone turned off the video.
"Sir?"
"Pay their bail, so I can explain to those four idiots why we don't try mess with the supers that don't hamper our operations first," Tombstone stated.
"Understood, sir," The Lieutenant said as he left, leaving Tombstone alone; he looked down at the tablet again and played back the video again and on his computer started trying to find more information about this Accelerator as an unmasked super would not be an unknown for long especially not with whatever power he had that allowed him to just ignore being hit by a speeding car, instead taking it like he was the Juggernaught or the Hulk.
And then there was the question of how to use Accelerator for his benefit instead of going against him. As he had seemingly decided to take the girl that had stolen from him under his own protection meant that getting to her and showing her the error of her ways would… not go well.
He would have to send out a memo telling his men to ignore the two.
That would work for now.

"Kimura," Her boss said as she kept punching her punching bag.
"What is it?" The dark-skinned woman asked as she turned around to face Adam Harkins, the man currently in charge of what was known as the facility.
"An individual matching the description of X-23 has been passed through the New York criminal underbelly, your mission is to go and retrieve the merchandise," Adam Harkins spoke.
Kimura smiled at that. "Finally, I've been wondering where my little stress ball ran off to."

Seriously?
Fucking seriously?
Could I seriously go a few hours without shit happening?
Those were my thoughts as I stared at the Blacbird on my right that held the X-men and the New Brotherhood of Mutants on my left, who had shown up in the middle of Central Park where Laura and I decided to cross to get to Jennifer's apartment.
"Boy, for the safety of Mutant kind, come with us, and we will show you what it means to be a mutant!" Exodus declared.
"We can't let you do that, Exodus. Children, please come with us; we can protect you," Jeane Grey said as she held out a hand for us.
"…Yeah, no," I said as I began walking away.
"Child, I am sorry, but I am afraid we will have to do this with force, my acolytes, capture him and the girl!" Exodus declared and I just sighed as Sabbertooth pounced at me.
"Let me show you why my name is Accelerator!" I shouted as I punched Sabbertooth, the man not dodging as he clearly thought that I wouldn't even be able to budge his much heavier body.
But he was immediately proven wrong as he was launched away from the sound of his bones piercing his own flesh from shifting of momentum.
"Don't interfere, X-men, they wanted me," I said as I kicked a loose rock at the elephant guy, and it pierced his skin, making him roar in pain. "So I need to demonstrate why I don't need any of you!"
